Kristen Cavallari spoke out on a podcast that came out two days ago and she revealed a couple of things.
Number one, she’s dating a retired athlete. She hasn’t said who it is, but she says that she is dating a retired athlete. And she talked about. Remember when that whole tick tock thing came out and that whole tick tock trend where suspect, you know, you, you, you film someone running and then you just, the suspect says this or whatever.
And her friend at the time recorded her and said, suspect, let Morgan Wallen hurt her feelings that you kept going back. And then she bursted out laughing. Well, she addressed that on her podcast and she said. He’s a great fuck buddy. He was good in bed. That’s what she said on Bunny XO’s dumb blonde podcast.
She said She’s a good guy with a big heart. She said the first date we went on He was a true gentleman and he was like, I’ll pick you up I’ll pick the place like just fucking handled business met her kids before their first date She said he kissed her in the rain but she said I have nothing but good things to say about him and she said He never hurt her feelings.
She doesn’t know why her friend said that when he recorded that, but she said, I’ll be honest with you. Morgan was the first guy in my entire fucking life that I, that wasn’t just completely enamored with me. And I was like, what the fuck is going on? It really threw me. I love having the upper hand. And I feel like with him, I didn’t have the upper hand the only time in my life.
So it really fucked with me. I mean, should you really be admitting that on a podcast? Not anything about your relationship with Morgan Wallen. We pretty much all assumed, once we heard that there was something going on with her and Morgan Wallen, that it was just a f buddy relationship. But, do you really want to admit, like, I love having the upper hand in the relationship, and when I don’t, it really messes with me?
Cause now, it’s just like any guy I don’t know. I, I, it’s probably not something you should admit. But What’s interesting was, this story was on E! Online, I mean, the part that I got, all the entertainment sites covered it yesterday, but the part I got was on E! Online. And then, right underneath the story, it says, let’s look back at some surprising celebrity couples over the years.
And they named some that were very obvious, and ones that I was like, I When I saw it, I wasn’t like, wow, really? I remember a lot of these Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis went on a rider and Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake Madonna and Tupac way back in the day. Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon.
I mean, they had a bunch of Manny Moore and Andy Roddick. It was like, okay, I had to be, I had to be reminded. And then I saw one that said David Moscow and Kerry Washington. I know who Kerry Washington is. She’s from scandal, right? Beautiful woman. And I was like, who the fuck is David Moscow? And then when I looked, it said right underneath the picture, it said the scandal star appeared on the cover of InStyle weddings in 2005 when she was engaged to the big actor, but they split in 2007.
I’m like the big actor, David Moscow. And then I had to go Google him. Kerry Washington was engaged. Too many Josh Baskin from big what? So, yeah, I mean, the whole article was about, Hey, here’s looks back at some surprising celebrity couples over the years. I don’t think any of the other ones really surprised me.
Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis. And like I said, why don’t a writer, Matt Damon, Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake. They didn’t surprise me. They might’ve been couples that I forgot dated. But when I see David Moskow, when I see little Josh Baskin was engaged to Kerry Washington, so I was like, what has that guy done since big anything?
And maybe he got, maybe he became a more, uh, behind the camera guy. Maybe he became a director. I don’t know. But when I saw David Moskow, I didn’t even know who that was. The picture is obviously of him and Kerry Washington from 2005 or 2006. I’m looking at the picture and I was like, this guy doesn’t look familiar.
But then when I read the caption underneath, and it said that she was engaged to the big actor, it’s like he was in big? Which one was he? It’s like, this is, this is the little Josh Baskin. It’s like, what? I don’t know. So yeah, that was the surprising one. I mean, there were some other ones and I read a lot of them.
Dave, Dave Cooley Yes, we know you ought to know was about him. We know that by now, Alanis Morissette and Ryan Reynolds. I knew they dated January Jones and Jason Sudeikis, Minnie driver and Matt Damon, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern. I knew that from Jurassic park. I remember these. Wait, David Arquette dated Ellen Barkin?
Didn’t know that one. I’m still scrolling down here. Jeremy Sisto and Reese Witherspoon? Jeremy Sisto from Clueless? Bethany Frankel and Eric Stonestreet from Modern Family? What? These two dated? That I don’t remember at all. They were a pair in 2015, so 10 years ago. Bethany Frankel and Eric Stonestreet.
Just think about that one for a second. I had no idea they were a couple. Regina King, Malcolm Jamal Warner. Don’t know if I knew that Kelly Preston and George Clooney. Now I remember that Val Kilmer and share. I remember that seal and Tyra banks. Yes. Josh Jacks, Joshua Jackson and Rosario Dawson. Dated in 2002.
Don’t think I remember that. Chris O’Donnell and Reese Witherspoon. Yes. Jesus. How many couples are in this list? Uh, okay. There’s, they go on forever. Matthew Perry and Heather Graham. So most of these, I was like, Oh, I forgot about them, but it’s not really all that surprising. The Moscow dude. And David Moscow, little job.
He’s not even David Moscow to me. He’s little Josh Baskin and Kerry Washington. But now, I mean, what’s more random. Little Josh Baskin and Kerry Washington or Eric Stone Street from Modern Family, Cam from Modern Family, and Bethany Frankel. What? God, I don’t remember that at all. Anybody else remember that?
I certainly don’t. And finally, remember when the Blake Lively story broke, I said one thing, one thing that you can guarantee is going to come from this. You are going to get other women, whether they’re A listers, B listers, women, bigger names in Hollywood are going to come forward and talk about it.
Being mistreated on set by either a male director or a male co star. And yesterday we had two of them that came out. Kate Beckinsale came out and didn’t name names, but she said, What is highlighted is this machine effect. When a woman complains about something legitimately offensive, upsetting, harmful, or whatever in this industry, I was referred to by the end of it, both over the walkie talkie and to my face as that C word, because I said, I’m finding it difficult, very difficult.
My co star is drunk every day. And he’s obviously going through something. I have full sympathy for that, but I’m also waiting as is the whole crew, six hours a day for him to learn his lines. And it means I’m not getting to see my daughter in the evenings ever for the whole movie. She said the studio ended up giving her a bike to use while she had downtime.
She didn’t remember the guys, or she did not mention the guy’s name. But she also said she felt unsafe in a fight situation on two different films with two different actors and had to get MRIs to show she was injured. She said, I would gas, I was gas lit and made to feel like I was a problem and blamed and ostracized.
I was left out of cast dinners, not spoken to as soon as I mentioned. There was a problem. So she spoke out about it and Abigail Breslin as well, spoke out about it because she actually came forward speaking out about Aaron Eckert. She named him last year publicly and basically said when the word woman becomes synonymous with scapegoat in light of recent events regarding the attempt to destroy the career and livelihood of a fellow actress and woman.
I have felt compelled to write this as I have been, unfortunately, been the subject of the same toxic masculinity throughout my life. She wrote this on Tumblr. In my recent career, I brought forward concerns about a male colleague and was deemed hysterical. I was told my fears were figments of my imagination.
And this was about a complaint she brought against Aaron Eckert in 2023. After they worked together on the movie classified, she said, there seemed to be an uprising after the Me Too movement of 2017, a new wave of recognition for those who had been abused, degraded, slandered, silence, and it was loud, but it was the kind of noise I can only liken to a firework.
It can wake you up out of a sound sleep. It burns so bright and shocks the shit out of you, but then it burns out just like that. And when the smoke in the sky clears and the ashes and debris are swept away from the sidewalk behind closed doors to them, we are just still noisy women. And we all go about our business until the next wave of injustice comes.
So she had that complaint last year and, uh, she made a confidential complaint against a coworker for unprofessional behavior. And he said she had the silly and naive impression that her concerns would actually be taken seriously. So this is what I mean. And I guarantee these aren’t going to be the only two that come forward.
Now, granted, Abigail Breslin came forward a year ago. She’s just re introducing everybody to what she said a year ago. And. But cake back and sale coming forward. Now there’s going to be others that come forward. You can bet your ass it’s going to happen and good for them. They have every right to, and you got, we have to listen to them as a society.
Because if we just sweep it under the rug, it’s just going to continue to keep happening anyway. Thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it.
