I will keep you updated on when all that is happening. So we’re two weeks away from grants season of the bachelor starting. It begins as you know, Monday, January 27th. I’ve put a lot of stuff out there. At least while filming was going on, that was two months ago on my podcast. I don’t have a lot of it written out.
In fact, I don’t know if I have any of it written out, but hopefully I will get that up on my website soon. And so I can actually have in writing the stuff that I did put out there over. My podcast back in October and November or September and October when this season was filming and I Also will put it on my Instagram.
There’s things on my Instagram if you go to My highlights and you go to grants spoilers There is stuff that I posted all throughout the season on my Instagram story that I just saved to those highlights Obviously, I’ve got a couple Stories or excuse me, some posts in my feeds, which is basically just final four and final three.
I know that months ago I gave you who the final two words, Juliana and Latia. And I just never put that in an Instagram post. So Zoe got eliminated at three. A lot of you that listen all the time know that already, but. In case someone’s tuning in now, they’re hearing that for the first time. So, hopefully I will get that and all the other stuff that I did hear about this season in writing.
I’ll put it in writing on my website within the next couple weeks before the season starts. So I mentioned at the beginning, story about Blake Lively, and it doesn’t have to do with the Justin Baldoni drama. What happened was, did you ever see the movie A Simple Favor? With Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively.
Well, there is a sequel and it’s already been filmed. It filmed in 20, it finished filming in 2024. And there’s this guy on Twitter. I guess he’s an internet investigator. I have no idea if this guy has a track record or what I saw it come across my for you page on Twitter. And I thought it was interesting.
He goes by the name Eric B and he claims that Amazon has scrapped a simple favor to due to Blake Lively’s legal legal battle with it ends with us. And obviously what’s going on with Justin Baldoni. Well, the director of that film, Paul Feig stepped in on Twitter to basically. Shoot down this troll, whatever you want to call him.
And he quote, tweeted that guy’s tweet and said, this is total BS. Sorry. The movie is finished and coming out soon. Don’t believe anything you read on social media these days. And that guy wrote back or that guy put in his tweet, despite glowing test screenings, Blake Lively’s refusal to promote amid her messy legal battle with Justin Baldoni and growing tensions with Anna Kendrick.
So Paul Feig stepped in. Debunk the claims and. That guy asked Paul Feig in return. Well, why ha why does the film have a release date? And Paul Feig stepped in and said, you know, the director of the film, he said, my friend, it’s called post production, which generally takes over a half a year, at least when you factor in editing, scoring, special effects, sound mixing, closed captioning, and all the technical quality control that has to be done.
Our post schedule always had us finishing everything by mid January. Movies don’t come out the second they’re finished because the studio spends the previous year deciding the best date to release it. We’ve always planned on something in the spring summer of this year. That’s how movies work. I hope this helps.
And of course that guy pretty much maybe went silent. Oh, by the way, he went on to say, I’ve now made two movies with Blake. And all I can say is she’s one of the most professional, creative, collaborative, talented, and kind people I’ve ever worked with. She truly did not deserve any of this smear campaign against her.
I think it’s awful. She was put through this. So. That Twitter troll basically put his head between his legs and obviously did have nothing to say to that. When the director quote treats you and basically says you’re flat out wrong for what you’re posting, put them in his place and I’m glad he did. But it is hilarious how so many people are trying to capitalize.
And I didn’t read anything else from that guy. I don’t know who he is. I had never even seen his Twitter account. Eric B never seen his Twitter account before I came across that this weekend, but I’m guessing if I scroll back into his tweets, he is anti Blake, and this is just someone trying to feed the narrative.
He’s probably a Team Justin, and this is just him trying to rile people up. I mean, to flat out say there, and say Blake Lively’s refusal to promote amid her messy legal battle with Justin Baldoni, and growing tensions with Anna Kendrick, and then to get shot down directly by the director of the movie, it’s clear this guy probably had an agenda.
And again, I’m, I’m glad Paul Feig shot him down. Something else I wanted to discuss on social media was the fact that Aubrey Plaza has deleted her Instagram a week after the death of her husband, who police found committed suicide. And we don’t know the reasons why she did this. I can imagine what some of them are.
Because I don’t know if you were on social media the day this story broke last week, but if you were reading some of the comments under people’s tweets under people’s stories, when the Entertainment sites. We’re putting it out on their social media accounts. Go to us magazine or us weeklies Instagram account and scroll back down to last week when they had the story of Anna, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza’s husband dying at the age of, I believe 47 due to suicide.
I haven’t gone back as of yesterday. And read them because it’s very possible. A lot were deleted by the entertainment sites due to the insensitive nature. I remember that day reading people’s comments underneath and again, internet being the internet, it was literally numerous accounts alluding to the fact that sweet now she’s single.
I don’t think they were saying sweet that, you know, obviously they weren’t insinuating they’re happy. That her husband was gone, but just making insinuations that she is now a single woman. So I don’t doubt for a second and I don’t fault Aubrey Plaza for a second for deleting her Instagram. Because if they were writing that publicly, I’m sure she was getting it privately and I’m sure she was getting it in other places on her Instagram account when it was happening.
I did not go to her Instagram account while it was still up. What I was seeing on the entertainment sites and the messages and the subtweets, it was gross. Are we really at that point? Well, I shouldn’t even ask because I already know the answer. The answer is yes, Steve. Yes, the internet is that bad of a place.
Yes. Social media is that bad of a place in just some of the most awful tragedies as evidenced by some of the things going on in regards to the LA fires. Like, it just can’t be a place where people have the ability to be nice. They can be, but there’s a lot more negativity on there than there should be.
Especially when someone’s husband dies. You would think there’d be a little grace shown, just a little. You would It was all about how soon she was going to be back on the dating market and comments about her being single gross. Finally, I wanted to end with this. You know, I’ve talked about this Instagram account a lot.
BH 90210 restored where they basically just in order replay seasons of Beverly hills, 902, and Oh, based on just. Clips for the longest time, they would release one clip a day. Sometimes the clip was two minutes long and sometimes it was five minutes long. You had to wait until the next day to get the next scene in the episode.
It took forever to get through a full season. They’ve kind of changed things up now where they’re releasing, I believe, three clips a day, and they’re covering numerous storylines in each clip. So I appreciate that. I just needed to point out that. The one that they released yesterday goes back to season seven, episode two, where the beach club is having a reunion.
And during that reunion, Steve and Kelly revisit the time where they had sex for the first time. And what Steve didn’t tell her at the time, five years previous, he tells her in present day, which is their senior year of college. And he tells Kelly that after that night, And after they broke up shortly after their first time having sex, he spread rumors about her across West Beverly.
And he specifically said, Kelly, I told everybody you were a slut and you’d sleep with anyone. And then Kelly says, how could you? And then in the conversation going on saying, I actually became that woman. I’m just looking back on it. I’m like, of course I remember it. Seasons four through seven college years are my favorite years of 90210.
But looking back on it, I mean, she forgave him by the end of the episode, which I’m glad she did. I’m glad she didn’t carry it on too long. Later on that year, Brandon carries on his hatred for Steve. For basically, I think maybe a full episode because Steve, he finds out that Steve cheated off of him with Professor Randall, who Brandon was sleeping with his wife freshman year, we all know that.
So anyway, Lucinda, but I can’t believe I’m almost offended that Steve Sanders spread that story about Kelly. And he basically, I mean, I’m glad he owned up to it five years later. But he said, I’m the reason you had the reputation you did at West Beverly because I told everybody you were a slut. And he said that to her and I’m like, holy shit, it’s a pretty heavy storyline.
And she forgave him by the end of the episode. She got mad at him in the moment. She kicked a chair at him. He asked her to play the egg toss with him. And she’s like, no. And he’s like, I’m sorry. What else do I need to do? I don’t know, Steve. And then she goes walking on the beach. She met remembers that night.
She remembers that they told each other that they loved each other. And she just kind of let bygones be bygones. So I’m glad she did. But I just, just rewatching that episode and seeing the clips from that episode and that scene, and they did the flashback. It was just like, I can’t believe Steve did that.
