Daily Roundup 1/14 – Kelsey Addressing Why She Sometimes Doesn’t Wear Her Engagement Ring, Tony Vlachos Has Some Suggests For The Traitors Format, Spencer Pratt, Caitlin Clark Has A Stalker, & Temptation Island Update?

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I am your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Tuesday. Got a good show for you today. We’re going to update you on the fan appreciation party. Pretty much what I expected to happen, did happen. Kelsey Anderson talks about why she is not wearing her engagement ring at times.

Tony Vlachos from Survivor, who was just on The Traitors, speaks out on what he thinks The Traitors should do to make the show a little bit more interesting. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag making a name for themselves during the California fires and in a good way. Unfortunately, someone is threatening Caitlin Clark and was arrested and a few of you have asked about Temptation Island.

We may have an answer. We’ll get to all that momentarily. So let’s start off with this. Yesterday I brought up the fact that I only had less than 10 spots left for the fan appreciation party on my birthday this year, May 31st at the house of blues at Mandalay Bay. And I said, look, I’ve less than 10 spots left.

So if you want in message me and it doesn’t mean I’m maxed out, but I will let people know hopefully soon. If I can get more, if not. The RSVP list is set. Well, it took less than an hour. And those of you emailed me last minute saying you want to be in, I had nine spots left to be exact, and they have been filled.

So if you have not heard back from me and, or even if you have, I’ve explained where I’m at, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t get in. Basically. Now there’s a waiting list. So if you still want in email me at Steve at reality, steve. com. Okay. And tell me you’re interested and I can put you on the waiting list because there is a chance more spots are going to open up, going to have a meeting tomorrow.

I’ll have a better idea by Thursday’s podcast where I’m at with that. But this is, I appreciate everybody who has RSVP’d. I never thought in a million years we’d sell out by the time bachelor season had even started. Cause usually in the past, I didn’t start promoting it until bachelor season because I knew a lot of people took.

The off season off and didn’t pay attention to anything I said until the first episode of the bachelor rolled around in January. And that gave me roughly five months to promote the party. And get people to RSVP. Well, I started early this year because it was going to be a bigger party and I had more spaces available.

So I was like, okay, I’ll have a few, maybe I’ll get half of it filled. By the time the bachelor starts, I had no idea I was going to fill 150 spots. By second week of January. So I appreciate everybody who’s RSVP’d. It’s going to be a great party. It’s going to be different than any of the previous other parties that I’ve had.

If you’ve been listening, you know, in the past, it’s usually just been in my room and it’s just a mingling session and obviously open beer and wine bar. There’s food and we give away prizes. And it’s just basically a three hour reception. This year is going to be a little different. We’re going to have a live show for the first 60 to 90 minutes.

We’re also going to have a photo booth there. It is an eighties theme party, probably going to have a DJ and still going to give away prizes, including I am going to do a first, second, and third place for best costume. So there is that. So just adding up to it this year, because it’s also, like I said, the night of my 50th birthday, you only turn 50 once.

So this is what I decided to do. And next year I’m going back to less people at the party, probably going back to the Venetian. I would think I just, I can’t do this size of a party every year, but looking forward to it and I will let you know in a couple of days, maybe by next week. If people on the waiting list can get in.

So if you are interested, you’re not shut out, but let me know and I will put you on a waiting list and then I will let you know as soon as I can, whether or not we’re opening it up to more spots. All right, let’s go to a bachelor story that made the rounds because Kelsey Anderson, the fiance of Joey Grazia Day put a TikTok video out.

On Sunday, and she addressed a comment that somebody had, Why aren’t you wearing your engagement ring? And she says, Well, I’m just not wearing it. You know what that means? It means I’m still engaged because it’s literally just a symbol. She said, I’ve kind of warped it a little bit. I have to go get it fixed.

One of the diamonds fell out because of how I was taking care of it before. So now, I’m trying to be more responsible. Joey walking around without an engagement ring, and y’all didn’t say anything to him. It’s cause I’m a woman. That’s real nice. And she said, everything’s good with her and Joey to quote her exactly.

We are all good in the hood. So. This just seems silly to me, not on Kelsey’s part, just the fact that people freak out when a woman doesn’t have her engagement ring. I understand they are a public couple and everything you do when you’re a public couple gets scrutinized. However, if you see Joey and Kelsey together and she doesn’t have her ring on, isn’t the fact that they’re together a little more Of a determining factor of whether or not there’s problems in paradise.

Cause usually when we see entertainment sites cover couples that don’t have an engagement ring on, it’s usually like, Oh, Jennifer Lopez was seen walking at the mall today with no engagement ring on. But she also wasn’t with Ben Affleck. That’s more of a sign to me that someone might be in trouble.

Relationships might be in trouble. Joey and Kelsey put out content, both of them during the fires, they put out a lot of links where to donate, they put photos of them. And videos of them in their new apartment. Like, you know, I, I, I get it. I understand this is just the way social media is, but I think you would know if Kelsey and Joey weren’t together, it’d be quite obvious, just like I say about any couple.

If they stopped posting together and they stopped doing any TikToks and they stopped doing anything where they’re in the same shot. And as far as I know, I follow both of them. I haven’t gone a particular long amount of time where I was like, huh, they’re not even posting with each other. They post all the time together.

Can we leave them alone? And that’s just not, it’s not just for them. It’s for any couple who cares if they are going to break up, we’re going to know about it anyway. They’re too public of a couple to not know what’s going on, but Jesus Christ. They’re living together. They are putting out content. You can go back to the whole Rachel, Lindsay, Brian, Abasolo thing, because yes, that was always very suspicious.

We didn’t know for sure. But when they did address the fact that she barely posted him on her Instagram, he barely posted her on his Instagram. And the one time, you know, the couple of times that she addressed it, she just said, yeah, we’re just more like a public couple. And then you read the divorce proceedings and she was like, yeah, basically we weren’t even together most of the time.

And it’s like, okay, well, they were basically lying to the public when they gave the answer of, yeah, we just want to stay private. I’m sorry. David, they were the first bachelor couple in history. Engaged couple that literally, or at least they posted the least out of any bachelor couple in history that I remember and come to find out, we were right about our assumptions that something was off and it just didn’t seem right.

And not only was it off, like close to the time we found out they got divorced. She basically said in the divorce proceedings, it’s been off for a lot of the time we’ve been together. So I get it. I get people are going to speculate. I get people are going to assume, but my thing is Joey and Kelsey aren’t giving anybody a reason to speculate or assume there could be something wrong there, you know, I don’t, I don’t get it.

I follow them both at no point have I been like these two are in trouble. Like. She was at every single one of his dance with the stars, maybe except for like one, cause she was at a fashion show or something like, I don’t, I don’t know. I just think we have more things to focus on than Joey and Kelsey.

Because God forbid, we are going to know, trust me, if anything is wrong between those two, and at any point, if they break up, we’re going to know about it. And it’s not going to be, it’s not going to be hard to figure out just because like I say, with most of these couples from the bachelor franchise, most of them post all the time about what they’re doing.

The second we see a couple of weeks or even a month go by and they barely post. That’s when you can start saying, looks like there might be trouble in paradise. We haven’t gotten that ever since March of last year, when they became a public couple and his finale aired, these two have put out content for literally nine months.

So. Not really sure where people are going with that. And if she doesn’t wear her wedding ring or her engagement ring, it doesn’t mean all of a sudden they are on the outs. So, you know, the trader season three dropped on Thursday of last week, and now the first three episodes dropped and now we get one episode a week on Peacock.

Well, spoiler alert. If you don’t want to know and you haven’t watched it yet, I’m going to reveal something about the first three episodes. You got three, two, one. Tony Vlachos from Survivor is eliminated. He was sent home in a banishment ceremony and it wasn’t even close. He had like 12 votes. I think the second place person had like two or three.

So, banished people, eliminated people from the traders, get to do You know, interviews, post eviction, interviews, post elimination, interviews all over. But I read the ones with Dalton Ross on EW. com. And Tony spoke out and was very descriptive about what he thinks about the show and kind of the format of it.

And he said, The game was pretty much. Let’s guess who Alan picked as traitors. That’s what the game was pretty much. And that’s why I wish they would have a consequence if you get it wrong, because going in there, you don’t care. You form an Alliance and you just vote everybody off. There’s no consequence, whether you’re a traitor or not.

I wish they would be like, Hey guys, you got it wrong. You’re up for murder tonight. But if you get a traitor out. You’re safe. It gives you an incentive to try and actually really want to try to get who a traitor is. Because they would never have voted me out if that was the case because they knew I was not the traitor.

They just said, okay, this guy is deceptive. We can’t trust him. Let’s get him out. Traitor or not. It didn’t matter. No consequence. Even if there’s no consequence, I wish there was a reward for getting it right. If you get a traitor, right? Okay. You guys are safe for murder tonight. Everybody else that got it wrong is vulnerable.

Vulnerable. Jesus. Why can’t I pronounce that name? What word vulnerable? It makes the game a little bit more, a little bit more as opposed to it makes it, it makes the game a little bit more as opposed to just everybody form an alliance and just start voting people out. It makes it more interesting where you’re really trying to solve it.

I agree with Tony here. I also am, I know other people in other. Countries that run the traders have also pointed out that why aren’t people paying more attention? And I’d have to go back to the first two breakfasts that they’ve had on this season Why aren’t people paying more attention to the fact that the last people that walk in the door at breakfast are?

Obviously not traders because they are usually people that Who were up for banishment or up for murder that the traders were discussing the night before, because that’s for the television audience. So why aren’t the people after two seasons of this sitting there going, okay, last people in there, clearly not traders, but maybe they have switched it up.

I don’t remember the last people in on the first two breakfasts this season. Maybe they are starting to throw at least one of the traders in there to throw people off, because I remember in the first season. I don’t think anybody who came in the door last at breakfast was ever one of the traders. And now that there’s been two seasons out of air, and I don’t know what they did for season two, I don’t remember, but you got to mix in a trader or else it’s going to be become quite obvious.

Right. But Tony’s makes sense. As long as he’s talking about the fact that, okay, if you vote for somebody and they end up being a faithful, then you are up for murder. But you can’t announce that. Alan can’t come in and say, okay, everybody who voted for Tony, You guys are up for murder, but if you didn’t vote for Tony and, you know, Oh, Bob, the drag queen, you voted for, you know, I, you know, we know that Carolyn is one of them.

He didn’t vote for Carolyn, but if somebody voted for Carolyn, you can’t say at the round table, Hey, you voted for Carolyn. You’re good. You’re not up for murder tonight because clearly. You would give away who one of the traders is. So I I’m assuming Tony is saying when the traders go back to vote that night, they are given the list of people who voted for someone that ended up being a faithful.

So those are the only ones that could be up for murder. I’m assuming that’s what he’s saying. And I agree with that. It makes sense. I wish somebody would address this breakfast thing. I got to believe there’s an Instagram account out there that has kept track in seasons one, seasons two, and the first three episodes of season three of the last people that have entered breakfast on every single morning after the murder and of those last people in the group that entered usually two or three people of the people that have entered, how many of them were traitors?

I don’t think it’s many. I don’t think it even happened once in season one, but I could be wrong. Does anybody have the answer to this? Please look into it for me. I’d really appreciate it.
