Filming started at the mansion Sept. 18th, 2024. Because of the new college football playoff lasting until later in January now, I think we can expect the Bachelor season to be starting in late January from now on. It’s not the first Monday in January anymore. And when you read the spoilers, you’ll see there’s only 9 episodes this season, the shortest it’s been in years. I believe that is going to be the norm going forward. Because the late start doesn’t mean they can just air episodes into April. They’ll always end in mid-March then begin “Bachelorette” filming shortly thereafter.
Alexe Godin got the first impression rose. In the previews for the season, she’s the one who arrives with the “no drama llama.” It was told on the first night that the recipient of the first impression rose also got the first 1-on-1 date of the season.

Group Date: 5 on 5 basketball game at the LA Athletic Club. Teams were:
Purple team: Natalie, Zoe, Chloie, Parisa, and Beverly.
Yellow team: Alli Jo, Allyshia, Sarafeina, Vicky, and Juliana.
Purple team killed the Yellow team. Apparently everyone on Purple team was taller. Supposed to be winning team won time at the after party, but he let both teams attend. MVP of the game was Chloie and she got to wear his lettermans jacket.
Ashley Brewer was there as well to broadcast the game. She was on Winter Games and has co-hosted some of the sporty dates in the past with Chris Harrison.
Apparently there was a contest or drill at the beginning of the date. When it was Zoe’s turn, she stole Grant away for a long time, which rubbed some of the girls the wrong way. Then despite having a lot of time with Grant during the basketball date, she stole Grant from other girls two more times during the evening part of the group date. This caused a huge fight between Zoe and Alli-Jo which they’ve alluded to in the previews.
Group Date: 7 women. The Bellwether Theater. R&B date. Grant sang his song first. Famous R&B singer Mario was a judge along with Robin Antin, founder of the Pussycat Dolls. The women were called the Backstreet Girls, and each their got own rap or song for :30 seconds.
Dina – described as the center of attention on this sexual/definitely played into a sexual side.
Bailey –
Carolina – was declared the winner of the date. She kissed him when she sang.
Rebekah G – best singer on the date overall by those in attendance.

The gist of the Rose/Carolina drama is that while rose was performing at the R&B date, Grant supposedly told Rose that the whole time the other girls were performing, he was just watching her. After Carolina won, Rose let it slip that Grant said this to her. Carolina was upset and confronted Grant about it. Then Grant essentially confronted Rose and said she was lying and was trying to ruin his connections with other girls. No idea if this will get shown as part of the show or not.
1-on-1: Alexe Godin. Shown in the previews, this is the date where Grant is singing at the piano to her.
Eliminated This Episode: Allyshia Gupta, Ella Del Rosario, Rebekah Garrett, and Vicky Nyamuswa.
Rose Ceremony #3 Los Angeles, CA (14 to 10)
Apparently, Beverly got very sick after the basketball date and was taken to the hospital. She eventually wasn’t able to be medically cleared to return back to the show so she went home this episode.
Group Date:
1-on-1: Based on who lasted long on this show, and also hearing that Zoey never got a 1-on-1 this season, I’m not sure who got this date.
Group Date: I believe Beverly’s elimination from the show may have screwed up the dates for this episode. But I do know there was a small group date, 3 or 4 women going to a dog rescue shelter. Litia got the group date rose.
Eliminated This Episode: Alli Jo Hinkes, Bailey Brown, and Chloie Costello. Beverly Ortega was medically removed from the show earlier this episode.
