I attended the Katy Perry concert last night at the American Airline Center. I’ve told you this for the last couple days. It was supposed to be Wednesday night. It got pushed back a day because of the Dallas Stars game. One on Wednesday, so Katy Perry was last night. Game two for the Dallas Stars is tonight, and I’ve seen Ka Perry twice, and it was during her residency in Las Vegas and that was a different show.
That show was kind of based around, she was a doll in a dollhouse. Like that was the theme of it. Everything on her stage was giant, and she was like this regular height person, and it was just like a, every set design was basically a giant playroom one set. Was in a bathroom. It was a giant toilet. So it was weird.
’cause she’s kind of goofy. She’s a little off to say the least. Well, the theme of the Lifetimes tour, for anybody that has seen it or is going to see it, or maybe you just want to know, it’s, she’s a character in a video game. So I will say this for the concert. I told you this going in, I don’t care about choreography.
Don’t necessarily necessarily really care about her costumes or whatever. All I cared about was her singing her bangers and just having a good time, and in that aspect, lived up to the expectations, if not exceeded them, because everybody in that arena is standing up, singing, cheering, and going along with all her great songs and all of her or her great hits.
Over the years. She sang, I think 23 songs, took about two and a half hours. And you know, there was some cool costumes, I guess for sure. And the songs that we got to hear. I, like I said, I knew about half of them, just a, I mean, it was just a fun concert all around. Pretty much everybody stood the whole concert.
A lot of jumping up and down, scream singing and stuff. And so it, it, in that aspect, it absolutely delivered for me, though it delivered for me for sure. But in terms of the theme of it, like I didn’t care for it. It was very, I don’t wanna say it was childish, but it was literally like, for kids it seemed like, not to mention, I mean, the residency in Vegas was for kids too, but this one was just, it just.
Didn’t hit with me. It’s like, okay, you’re a character in a video game and she puts on all these costumes that you would think a video game character would do. And there’s just a lot of stuff going on and a lot of lights flashing and TV screens on the stage. And, but for me, I just wanted to hear her sing her songs.
That’s what you go to concerts for. Now I will say this, the songs were actually done a little bit differently. All of her bangers, et. Dark horse, part of me firework, you name it.
It seemed like every song outside of a couple were more in an upbeat fashion to where it had the O. It had almost an EDM feel to it, and a club beat to them. Because when I saw her in Vegas, perfect example, the song part of Me, when she sang it in her Vegas residency, she sang it basically acapella and it was a slow song.
She was like laying on her back singing it. This one was completely different. It had deep bass music behind her, and it was more like the original song, which is more of an upbeat song. So. She’s just obviously changed it up. Maybe she just didn’t wanna do it the same exact way she did it in her Vegas residency.
She didn’t wanna give people the same exact show. But the story and the theme for me, it was whatever, I don’t care. I wouldn’t tell somebody, don’t go to the concert because the theme is corny. It is corny, but if you like her music, you go to this concert. It’s plain and simple. It’s pretty much like anybody else.
Like you like somebody’s music and you like the way they sing, and they’ve got some. Hits in there and you wanna go see them perform. I would not discourage anybody from going to see this concert. It was just a lot of fun, upbeat, really cool, great vibe survivor finale two nights ago, and all five finalists that were in the finale did their exit interviews with Dalton Ross from ew.com.
They also did. Interviews with other people, but I read all their interviews with Dalton Raj. You can go to ew.com and you can see it, whether it was Mitch or Joe or Camilla. Kyle Eva. I guess the one interesting thing, there were a couple things here and there. I’m not gonna say this was only one interesting thing out of five exit interviews that I read, but remember when Eva had to go off on her own and practice making fire because she knew she was gonna be in the fire challenge against Camilla and she had an episode, she had one of these episodes where she was really struggling.
And almost scream crying. And when she was crying, what they showed was Joe and Kyle back at camp looking at each other like, oh, we gotta go help her. Well, in her interview she said That meltdown, or whatever you want to call it, that episode was way worse than what they actually showed. And she was actually a little disappointed that they didn’t show it.
They said she was scratching herself. She was curled up in a ball, obviously crying. She chose that what you saw on TV wasn’t even close to how bad it got for me in that particular episode, not episode of the show, episode of her autism Acting up and autism doesn’t act up, but you know what I mean. She had an episode just like she did when she just gets flustered and it really.
Just overtakes all of her emotions. But she said it was, it was way worse than what they showed. She said, I wish they would’ve showed it, because we need kids out there, even adults out there to see someone like me on television, go through an episode that you just normally don’t see televised. So in that aspect, I agree with her.
I mean, I felt bad for her watching that. And now to find out it was way worse than what they showed. I mean, she was really bad in terms of her, her crying and her screaming, and it was just over struggling to light a fire. So that’s why I think someone like her is just, it’s important to show that stuff and it’s important for her to get her message out there.
I don’t think she’s mad at the show. She just said, I wish they would’ve shown more. ’cause it was way worse than what they showed. And it certainly seems like reading all five exit interviews, it certainly seems like the jury wasn’t lying. Camilla gets to the final three, she wins. And Kyle even knew it.
Kyle said, that’s why I had to get rid of her. He goes, I had to go after her. ’cause I knew we both couldn’t be sitting there and. It’s not surprising that the jury said, he said, ’cause the jury wanted an underdog story and Camilla had the best underdog story out there. It’s probably why the jury threw two votes Eva’s way.
Now we find out next Wednesday, who is on season 50 of Survivor. I think it’s gonna be announced on Good Morning America. There are so many TikTok accounts and Twitter accounts that I’ve come across that says, rumored Survivor 50 Cast, but I have no idea which one to believe, so I, your guess is as good as mine.
I, I have no idea which one’s legit because I don’t follow Survivor spoilers. I don’t want to know if there is a Survivor spoiler account out there who wins the season before it even starts. But for casting, I won’t care. I, I, I, I do wanna know who was in CAST and who’s in season 50. I think that doesn’t ruin anything for me.
What would ruin something for me is if I found out who won it. But I believe Survivor 50 Cast has left for filming. That’s why they’re gonna announce it next week. And finally, I saw the story yesterday. It was on all the entertainment sites that. What’s her face? I was gonna say Megan Fox. Yeah, Megan Fox is.
So Megan is pregnant again with Machine Gun Kelly’s child. She just had a baby in March and she has said in this new pregnancy. I’m so all over the place with this. I I’m just reading headlines wrong again. Okay. So it says, Megan Fox is sharing new details about her fourth baby On Wednesday, she reposted a video of her role in the new Amazon Prime TV series, overcompensating and shared a message alongside the video about filming the show while she was six weeks pregnant.
Oh, okay. I’m an idiot. Once again, I’m a total moron. I thought she was saying she’s six weeks pregnant now, so what she’s doing is promoting something that is, was filmed when she was pregnant with this baby that she just delivered in March. Okay. I was just gonna say, you wanna know what my take was if I found out Megan Fox was pregnant, what are you doing?
Like this relationship with MGK just seems to be on and off. It, it seems to be quite, I don’t know, toxic, because you just hear all these stories, how they’re together and they love each other, and all of a sudden he’s moved out and he’s cheated on her and then she wants to move on and whatever. And then the latest reports are, they are, you know, they got engaged in 2022 and they called it quits at the end of November.
Not right after they had basically announced they were having a baby and then they went to, and then they had their baby girl and now people is reporting. They’re not together despite, he stays at her house occasionally, well, I guess they have a child together, so I guess that would make somewhat of sense.
But sources say they are. Basically just committed to being present for their daughter. He stays at the house part-time and they’re not living together and they’re not romantically involved. Probably a good thing considering the way that relationship has gone. Okay, so we can be done with this story. My bad.
I literally was recording this in real time. I didn’t, I I just read it wrong. So. Because all the headlines said, Megan Fox addresses unplanned MGK pregnancy and return to Instagram. So I thought that’s what she was doing, announcing that she had an unplanned pregnancy, but she’s talking about the child that she had two months ago.
