So Zach, the baseball player, was the one that found Julie in the challenge and Jimmy was the one that found the head of household artifact. So those were your two winners. Zach won $10,000. Jimmy got to choose who competed in HOH, but there was only gonna be four people.
He chose himself, he chose Vince, he chose Ashley, and he chose Adrian. So those are the four that were gonna compete for HOH. The other thing we found out is that they’re bringing back AI arena, but it’s just called BB Blockbuster. It’s the same exact thing as IRE in the last year, and it’s a permanent stay this year, if I remember correctly, when we were talking about this last year.
I think it was more than a majority, or it was a majority that people didn’t like AI arena. People didn’t like three people on the block, if I’m not mistaken. Right. That ultimately was something that people didn’t like, so they brought it back. Unfortunately, we’re gonna be stuck with it seemingly for a while, and you can dress it up all you want.
It’s the AI arena that was started last year. Change the name of it to BB Blockbuster, whatever. It’s AI Arena. And now Jimmy has to nominate three people for HOH. They will compete in BB Blockbuster on eviction night. The winning person of that challenge gets to stay, and then the two people are up for eviction and people have to vote right after that challenge happens live on Thursday nights.
So the Rachel Riley Mystery House guest thing is really interesting just because, I guess it’s just a matter of what you wanted to believe online for the last three days, because there were people out there saying, Kat being one of them, Janelle was the one. Was the driving force behind it. Janelle was posting all these tweets saying, oh my gosh, every time I call Rachel, who I’m very good friends with, it’s going straight to voicemail.
Guys, what does this mean? I think she is the new house guest, and when I was reading that, I thought that they were just playing a game. I thought she was throwing people off on purpose because she’s too close to Rachel. Why would she want to give that up? And then Rachel posted a video with her husband and their kids on vacation, and then Rachel posted something on her Twitter account.
And then I think during the show last night, Rachel’s Instagram account says We’re going live. Her and her husband are going live right after the show to talk about all the rumors of me being the 27th hou or the 17th house guest. And it ended up being right. It ended up being Rachel Riley, a two time podcast guest on the Reality Steve Podcast.
You know, I haven’t spoken to Rachel. I didn’t even try to text her when all these rumors started the last three days. I’m not close enough with her to try and do that. Not that she would’ve told me, or I would’ve even reported that. Hey guys, I texted Rachel. She didn’t text me back like, no, because why would she text me back?
She’s just been a guest a couple times. We’ve texted here and there about other things, but. I can’t remember the last time I texted her. Actually, you know what, I’ll tell you right now. The last time I texted Rachel Riley, it was Rachel Riley. Last time I texted her was Wednesday, January 29th and I think we were recording.
Yeah. The day I recorded with her, she said, Hey, and I said, yo, that was the last conversation we had. So six months ago, roughly. But she’s an all timer in the Big Brother world. I know people are excited to have her. If you’re a house guest, you now have a dilemma. Do you side with her or do you try and get her out as soon as possible?
Looks like Jimmy wants to get her out as soon as possible. The other big twist that I guess you can say kind of delivered, it definitely wasn’t a dud. That was that person. I’m just gonna call him the demon. That demon coming on the screen and saying, Rachel is in the game, but she’s not the 17th house guest.
I’ve been working with an accomplice this whole time since the game started. I told the accomplice to get rid of the head of household artifact to shut off all the lights and to allow Rachel in the game if they could pull that off. And you guys couldn’t figure out who it is. That person will be the 17th person in the game.
So Rachel is actually the 16th house guest. Now the question becomes the six 16 that are already there. The person who is the accomplice, who we don’t know yet as an audience, nor does anybody else other than the person who it is. If they guess, if the house guests guess who it is, then that person, person is immediately eliminated if they don’t guess.
There’s your 17th house guest, the 16 that were announced last night, and Rachel,
what we don’t know is how this voting works. Do all of them come Sunday? Are all of them individually going to go up and place A guess and a majority. Whoever the majority name is, if it’s that person and they get it right, or is this, they have to come to a house decision on who they think it is. The only thing that I can say in terms of clues that were given out on last night’s episode, and this has been posted on social media, I had gone back and watched earlier in the episode when they said.
Hiding in plain sight. Who cut out the lights? Well, if you look at the scene where the lights were cut out, all of them were in the HOH area in the living room, and then when the lights came back on, they were all standing there, but Keanu and Ava were walking in from the kitchen. First off, I don’t even know when they left to even go to the kitchen just because.
When the lights were cut off, Julie made everybody sit in the living room and talk to them. But go back and watch the episode or go online and see people’s posting the clip. When the lights came back on, they were all standing there looking at each other like, oh, okay, and here come Ava and Keanu from the kitchen area.
So I don’t even know when they left to go to the kitchen, let alone here they are coming back from the kitchen area right when the lights turned back on. So immediately. People are fingering. Well, it’s one of those two because how would they have gotten, how else would they have gotten there? Why were they in the kitchen?
Why were they walking away? So whether or not the other people are gonna figure that out and guess the right person, and like we said, we don’t know if it’s gonna be an individual vote and it’s a majority vote, or they have to come to an agreement on a house vote of who they think it is. My guess is they won’t get it right.
That’s my guess. And we’re gonna have 17 people in the house. So decent twist. Kind of interesting. We’ll see how it plays out. Alright, bachelor in Paradise Ratings. I want to go over, but I also don’t wanna spend a ton of time on this. Bachelor in Paradise won the night in the 18 to 49 demo. They drew a 0.3 overall.
Viewership on Monday night, and this is just network television. That’s it. That’s A-B-C-C-B-S-N-B-C, Fox and the CW Network television. It drew 1.8 million viewers, 1.84 to be exact. There were 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 shows that drew more than it and looks like three of ’em were reruns of other shows. So
the thing with this show is all they care about really is the woman demo. 18 to 54, and even that one isn’t broken down. I don’t know what the women demo was, but if they won the 18 to 49 demo, which is men and women 18 to 49, I guarantee they won the women demo because the other shows a rerun of the neighborhood, a New American Ninja Warrior, another rerun of the neighborhood, a rerun of FBI.
A rerun of FBI most wanted. All four of those shows drew more. Five of those shows drew more than Bachelor Paradise overall, but none of them beat the Bat Bachelor Paradise in the 18 to 49 demo. So that’s good. But the other thing is, I don’t wanna spend too much time on these ratings because so many people nowadays.
Don’t watch Bachelor Paradise Live. They don’t feel like they need to. So there are people that watch it on Hulu the next day. There are people that watch it on Hulu over the weekend, and those are still recorded. So there’s really no point. I I, I’ll mention the ratings the next day, you know, next week we can pair.
Does Monday next week draw more than a 0.31 in the 18 to 49 demo. And does it draw more than 1.84 million viewers? That’s all we’re gonna do, but again, all we’re doing that doesn’t mean only 1.84 million people in the United States watched Bachelor in Paradise on Monday, because that’s just the overnight number of people that literally watched it live.
Hulu, totally different number because you can watch it the next day and they’ll have their separate numbers. So I wouldn’t read too much into ratings because we all know network television is just down in the dumps. Hell, from September to from September through May sweeps the 20 24, 20 25 network television season.
There was literally one show on television that averaged over 10 million viewers a week, and that was tracker on Sunday nights. There wasn’t one other show on television that did that. Everything else, 9 million or you know, 9.9 million or less. And most of them are on CBS, which is watched by 60 year olds.
Shows like the neighborhood, shows like F-B-I-F-B-I most wanted Tracker, Matt Locke. Matlock was the second highest rated. Most watched television show in the 2024 to 25 season Matlock. Yes, I know Andy Griffith isn’t Matlock anymore, and this is a reboot of the franchise and it’s not even a man that’s playing Matlock.
It’s a woman, but it’s the second most watched television show on network television in the last year. So that’s just what I mean. I wouldn’t compare it to that. It doesn’t really matter what the network ratings are. And finally I wanna talk about the Sierra thing real quick. Sierra from Love Island and she basically put out a four and a half, five minute video apologizing.
For what she said. It was an Asian slur that appeared on a video in 2024, and she took accountability for it. She had a whole statement up on her Instagram story. It’s been all over the entertainment sites. I’m not gonna read it for you. There’s no reason to. It was a, it was a very solid statement. It was taking accountability for what she said.
And again, just like any other apology, when something surfaces from somebody’s past, it’s about what you do moving forward. And she said she is taking accountability. My thing is this.
It seems nowadays, and it happens with bachelor contestants, it happens with Love Island contestants. It happens with any new show that comes out. Let’s dig up dirt on these former, on these contestants, and let’s find something to cancel them or something to make them apologize. Like, I’m not even sure people care about Sierra taking accountability for anything.
I think they just want an excuse to. Harass and bully contestants, like I think people get more joy out of what happened to Sierra and getting her kicked off that show than they actually care about her taking accountability. I honestly don’t think many people are even remotely interested in her taking accountability and releasing a four and a half minute video.
They don’t care. Their goal was accomplished. Let’s find something on every single person so we can get them quote unquote canceled. They don’t care about accountability. I really don’t think the people that are digging this much to find old videos care about it. They care more about bullying and harassing.
What she said was wrong. What she said should have gotten her, should have gotten her kicked off the show. Absolutely. But I’m just saying the people that are so front and center. About get her off the show. That is disgusting what she said. Yeah, it was. But I think once CBS did that, I don’t think these people care about Sierra.
I don’t think they care that she’s gonna try and be better moving forward and she’s going to take accountability for what she said. I don’t think they care. I think they’re more interested in just, they wanna be the online police. It’s just very ironic because gosh, you wish these people that are the online police, something would come out about them and let’s see how they handle it and how they’re treated about it.
