Daily Roundup 7/14 – Big Brothers Ep 2, Who’s Playing the Hardest So Far, the Added Special Power, Accomplice Named, BIP Episode 2 Tonight, & Is There a New BIP Couple Off Screen?

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. We’ve got some big brother to talk about episode two last night. We got some answers. We know who the head of we know who the nominations are for this week.

A lot of stuff to go over. In last night’s episode, we got episode two of Bachelor in Paradise Tonight. Yes, it is three hours. Some things over the weekend that I learned about some Bachelor Paradise contestants. Is there a possible new couple on the horizon? From Bachelor in Paradise. We’ll get to all that momentarily.

First thing I wanna start out with is something I did not mention on Friday, which I should have, because Friday was a very big day in reality. Steve Podcast history, I can’t believe I blanked on this, but this past Friday was July 11th. July 11th, 2022 was the first day I started the daily roundup. Three year anniversary.

Was this past Friday. Pretty proud of the fact that I have not missed an episode Monday through Friday. You’ve gotten an episode every day of the week since July 11th, 2022. And as I always say, the only thing that will come and stop that from happening and will end the streak would be o obviously any sort of bad news, knock on wood.

Or any sort of audio or technical issues where it just doesn’t upload. Thank God we haven’t had any of those yet again, but obviously things can happen. But yeah, July 11th, 2022, and that was Friday’s episode. I knew that was the date. I can’t believe I forgot that. Anyway, just wanted to acknowledge that, that you’ve had an episode every Monday through Friday for a little over three years now.

And you’re gonna keep getting those. So thank you to all those who have listened. Thank those to all of you have supported who have used promo codes on any of the ads that are, that you hear during the podcast. That’s the best way you can support this podcast. And I usually don’t sign off on any products that I don’t use myself, and I get to test them all out when they’re sent to me.

So, I’ve turned down plenty. Of ads on this podcast because I just don’t feel it’s the right fit for this podcast. I don’t feel like the audience response would really be all that impressive. So yeah, I just skip on those and go with the ones that I know that I think at least. You guys, the audience will like.

So thank you to everybody who has supported. I really, really appreciate it, and we’re just gonna keep this train rolling down the tracks. Alright, big brother, last night, first episode of the season. As I’m recording this, we’re about an hour away from the live feeds being turned on, and I’m guessing it’ll be known.

Probably within the first half hour or an hour, just by conversations that people have that we’ll know who is playing in the power of veto and who won the power of veto. ’cause I’m guessing that already has taken place, right? Or does the power of veto take place on Mondays? Yeah, we know on a normal season.

Head of household gets played on Thursday. The nominations are usually on Friday. The power of Vito is played on Saturdays, and then the power of Vito ceremony, where the winner decides what they want to do is usually done on Monday. So I’m sure by the time you listen to this, if you’ve watched the feeds or.

Read online, we’ll know who won Power of Veto, and then their decision comes today. So we’ll know that later on today. I have not decided if I’m going to, I’m definitely not gonna watch the feeds, but obviously there are plenty of Twitter accounts out there that recap everything that’s going on, and it’s almost gonna be possible to avoid.

Impossible to avoid. So what I’m gonna do is I, I probably will end up getting spoiled accidentally, but then once I see which account does it, I’m probably going to mute it. So maybe going forward, I’m not gonna run into it as much. But anyway. In terms of last night’s episode, the biggest thing is the accomplice.

Who was it now since Thursday’s episode? Again, so much stuff online. A lot of the BB fandom. Absolutely. Breaking down things from the first episode, and there were three people at least that I saw that BB fandom was like totally convinced this person’s the accomplice. It was Adrian, Amy, or Keanu. Because Adrian, when people went back and watched the episode, he kind of went behind a wall really quick one time.

Keanu I think stayed behind for something one other time, and then we all know now the accomplice was Amy and that one was also put out there on Twitter that the big one was, I don’t think anybody, ’cause they never showed us her staying behind and starting the clock. And they obviously never showed us her pulling the lever that allowed Rachel Riley to enter the house.

But there were people online that slowed down the episode when the lights were shut off and said, look, here, you can tell that number one, they also noticed that the remote control Amy had in her jean skirt pocket. People were wondering, Hey, there’s something in her pocket. And then when the light shut out, there was a quick two second clip.

When they showed the people in the dark of Amy lifting her arm up, and you can tell she might’ve been pushing her remote, and that’s exactly what we saw last night. So there were people online that did figure it out, but there were also people that were saying like, oh my gosh, how can you not miss this?

It’s obviously Adrian. Or if it’s obviously Keanu. Nope, it was Amy. And a lot of people did figure that out. We find out that one of the. Rules, I guess, has been set in place, at least for the first eviction because Rachel Reilly entered the game late and because they’re probably gonna do anything they can to protect her ’cause you don’t wanna bring Rachel Reilly on and have her eliminated at the first eviction.

Clearly Jimmy wants her gone, but Rachel was given. A have not room, but in exchange for being a have not and eating slop for a week. They said You are safe from the first eviction and you can bring three people to the have not room for the week, and they’re also safe. So she chose Will Zach and Ava. So I know this is big and with only six seasons of knowledge of this show, I don’t really know how it’s worked with returning players and what people will choose to do.

My guess is Rachel is not going to win this season, but she’s also not going home in the first half. I gotta believe she’s gonna make jury just because she is such a good player. And this whole idea of do you keep a former winner around and soak up their knowledge? Or to get rid of them as quick as possible because the longer they last, the more dangerous they become.

This has happened a lot on Survivor. And On Survivor. They haven’t been able to pull it off. Hell, when Boston Rob came back, people were like, we gotta get ’em outta here. We gotta get ’em outta here. And then he ended up winning the season. So, my guess is they are not going to as much as Jimmy wants Rachel out of there, my guess is Rachel.

Riley’s gonna be around for a while. I, I, I just, not that they can fix the game in her favor. She might win a bunch of comps, who knows? Or win ahead of household or be on the right side of the vote. Who knows? But my guess is you can’t put it into her contract that, Hey, you’re guaranteed to be here X amount of days.

But I think it would be kind of a bust to this whole, let’s bring back a returnee. If they brought her back and she was gone in the first two or three weeks, she gets to stay through week one because the show basically said, we’re gonna allow you to stay through week one. But after that it’s anybody’s game.

Maybe she will go home in week two. I, I just doubt it though. However, she did make a mom alliance with Amy, and Amy is already on the block this week, so that is. Really for no other reason that she got emotional talking to Vince, let’s be honest, that’s the only reason. ’cause Vince said, look, I know Amy and Ashley are close, so they both probably want me out.

Might as well put both of ’em up and better chance that one of ’em goes home. But he doesn’t want Amy to go home. It looks like he wants Ashley to go home. Zay is the other one up for nomination this week. This is before I know who won Power of Veto, because if one of those three win, they’re obviously taking themselves off, but Zay is up.

And then, you know, even if this is the three that go into eviction night, remember we’ve got BB Blockbuster this year, which is basically the AI arena. So one of those three is gonna be able to save themselves on eviction night. Still a lot to be determined, to say the least. Zach found out some advantage in the game, and that is when he won and he found Julie Chen.

He won $10,000, but also with that $10,000 comes power in the game and essentially he can save himself after power of Veto is established and. He can take him. If he feels like he’s going home, he can take himself off the block. The head of household has no say. He will be giving the head of household $10,000 and the head of household will replace Zach with somebody.

As far as we know now, Zach hasn’t told anybody that he. Has this power. Maybe he will at some point, maybe he won’t, but as of right now, that’s a pretty good power to have for Zach. He’s in a good position. This podcast is brought to you by Factor. Summer’s here means more sun and more light, more time to do all the things that make summer so special.
