Big brother has had quite a week this week. Over the past week, we, when we last left us, we saw eviction. And Zay was eliminated by a vote of evicted by a vote of nine to five, and Riley flipped.
That became a major storyline on last night’s episode as the five who voted to get Amy out were like, wait, it should have been six of us. It should have been the Burger Boys and Kelly. Well, one of the five Burger boys was Riley and he flipped. You know why? Because Riley is so far up Catherine’s ass.
Whatever she does, he does. So she voted to eliminate Zay. So Riley voted to eliminate Zay. However, after the vote, he told all the boys, nah, wasn’t me. I didn’t flip. I voted to vote Amy out. They’ll probably eventually figure it out because they’re going around trying to figure out. We should have had six.
Even though if they had six, the vote still would’ve been eight to six and Zay was still going home. But they’re trying to see who leaked out of their alliance. We can all see it. It was Riley, and again, there’s so much going on in the live feeds. Maybe they have figured it out by now in real time, but I can’t remember if, if it’s, it’s gotten to that yet or not.
Either way. Head of household competition happens and Jimmy wins head of household, so he’s gotta put three people up. However, during the head of household competition, we saw that the intruder or whatever they’re calling this guy that breaks into the house and plants letters, I’m already forgetting his name.
He said there’s three powers that could be gained during this head of household. So Jimmy Winn’s, head of household, but Keanu Kelly and Mickey all got powers. You know what those powers are? Keanu has a house guest from a previous season that’s going to play in the upcoming power of Veto, and they’re basically playing for Keanu.
They’re not joining the show. They’re playing for Keanu. If they happen to win, then Keanu wins Power of veto. If Keanu wins power of veto, he’s got two chances to win. Power of veto. Kelly’s power is she gets to change nominations after a veto meeting, and she has a solo veteran vet mystery competition so she can earn veto by playing a solo mission by herself after the veto meeting.
And then Mickey’s. She has an anonymous way to dethrone the HOH up until jury. If she wants to dethrone the HOH, she has to make it known then that HOH that week can interrogate her and everyone else in the house for three minutes if they guess correctly. Who had the mystery power than Mickey? Gets exposed and she probably ends up going on the block.
But if the HOH guess is wrong, Mickey gets the HOH for that week. So there’s a lot of powers, and I’m gonna talk some spoilers right now. So you’ve been warned if you haven’t been following the live feeds, gonna talk some spoilers right now. Three, two, and one. So Keanu got to. Use his two veto competitors.
So who is the former house guest they brought in that’s been a comp beast in the past? Well, it was Casey, the one who seemingly is now on the challenge almost every season. And it’s Casey. And Casey ends up winning power of veto, which means Keanu is safe. He’s gonna take himself off the block. Now, from what I read, I also believe.

I, maybe she’s going to, but the things that I’ve read about the live feeds have been, Jimmy is saying he is so screwed now because now he’s basically putting five people on the block. This week he put the three up on the block that we saw last night. Adrian Kelly and Keanu Keanu’s coming down. So he is gonna have to place Keanu with somebody and Kelly has either won or is probably going to win and take herself down, and that’s a second person he’s gonna have to nominate.
So he is gonna have to nominate five people this week and piss a lot of people off. Who that person is that I’m not sure of? I don’t know for sure. I think I’m pretty sure. I, I don’t want to dissuade anybody here. I, I don’t know. I’ve seen the names Amy on there. I’ve seen the name Will brought up. I, I can’t remember, but I think there’s probably a good chance Amy goes up again.
But in terms of who’s voting, who out again? I, that’s where I don’t know. So if Kelly takes herself off, it’s gonna be Adrian, Amy, and then whoever he replaces Kelly with, with, which is what I’m, which I’m hearing is Will and Will is feeling a little outcast because he’s 50, I think Amy’s in her forties and everybody else on that show is 35 or younger.
You know, it is kind of unfair because what if it was the other way around? What if they cast a bunch of 40 and 50 year olds and they had two people in their twenties? Yeah. I’m guessing the two people in their twenties couldn’t really relate to a lot of people in the house, and that’s the way Will feels.
Amy has been able to relate to Rachel because they’re both mothers, so that has helped their relationship For sure. But there is a lot going on here where you’re just, there are so many things, and again, I, I don’t wanna sit here and just read the live feeds to you and read everything going on, but there are so many factions within this house now that there is going to be probably no matter who are the final two nominees come Thursday night.
There seems to be. Not a split vote, like right down the middle, but there will be people, there won’t be a unanimous vote because there is clearly a house side that likes a certain group of people and a house side that likes the other group of people. And it’s gonna be interesting to watch it all play out because at this point it’s still so early in the game.
And I guess this is what these. Advantages are doing, but is it too much? Is that too many advantages to give out? The fact that Keanu, Kelly and Mickey all got powers or advantages, is that too much already in week two? I don’t know. To each their own. I just hope it’s not like that every week where they’re trying to throw a new twist into the game just because they hated.
How the unanimous votes went down in past seasons, so early on in the season. I think that’s just a bit much to be honest with you. And finally, I want to talk about what happened on Friday. Numerous people emailed me Friday morning after the podcast went up and said, Hey, Steve, I think the CEO from astronomer astronomer, what’s his name?
Andy Byron. Is that his name? Lemme just pull it up again real quick. Andy Byron, that’s his name, right? Yeah. That statement that I read where he blamed, Hey, while I’m sorry for everything that happened and I need to apologize to my family and my work and all this stuff, can we point out the fact that maybe private moment shouldn’t be shared on a jumbotron?
And I was just like, you gotta be kidding me. This guy’s just mad. He got caught. He’s actually saying basically, let’s get rid of the kiss cam, and he’s mad at the arena for catching him with his mistress on the screen. I go, this is so not taking accountability. Well, how easy it is to pedal misinformation on the internet nowadays.
And look, I wasn’t the only one fooled by this. There were plenty of others that got fooled by this as well, but that statement ended up being fake. So thank you for all those that notified me. But by the time you notified me, I had already heard and read on TMZ that that statement was fake. It didn’t come out till like Friday morning.
That astronomer, somebody in the astronomer PR department officially released a statement that I had to triple check to make sure that that wasn’t fake, that they came out and said, Andy Byron has not released any sort of statement in regards to the situation from the Coldplay concert. So that was handled and.
24 hours later, we find out that the astronomer, CEO, Andy Byron resigned from his post on Saturday, which fully expected nothing about the HR woman, but I gotta believe she’s been told or fired or forced to resign as well, because why? Because. If you’re gonna let him go and not her, then that doesn’t even make any sense.
I gotta believe that they’re both in the wrong, and it would almost be like, well, this is acceptable for her, but not for him. I understand he’s in a much higher position than her in the company, and he’s the CEO. And there was even discussion brought up, and I even had this discussion with somebody this weekend.
I was like. Is he getting fired because of the bad PR, or is he getting fired because it’s in astronomers contracts that the CEO signs that he’s not allowed to have an inner office relationship? My guess is it’s probably both. I mean, we don’t know what astronomer’s paperwork says in regards to can you have an office relationship?
Because if two other people that are just employees at Astronomer were hooking up with each other, whether they were both married or one was married or neither was married and they had an interoffice relationship and they got caught on a jumbotron, would anybody care? No. It’s the fact that he is a man in position of power.
And he is married and he’s brought a lot of shame to the company. ’cause this is everywhere. I mean, the memes are everywhere. You can’t look online and not see, somewhere, some way somebody is posting a meme about Andy Byron and the HR woman that he was latched onto at the Coldplay concert. So that’s my guess because if, like I said, if, if, if two just employees at Astronomer were cheating on their spouses.
It got up on the jumbotron, on the kiss cam at a Coldplay concert. I don’t think anybody would say anything like internally. Maybe people there, if they knew them, they’d be like, wait a second. That wasn’t his wife or That wasn’t her husband, but I don’t think it would be national news. This guy is the CEO of the company, and I’m guessing somewhere in the contracts that he signed to be the CEO of this company, what he does in his personal life.
Maybe that’s not part of it, but the fact that he brought shame to the company is, I’m assuming the reason that he got canned for this, because this is horrible PR even though nobody had ever really heard of the company astronomer before Friday and now everybody’s talking about them. So is it really bad PR for them?
You know what they say bad public. Any publicity is good publicity. Astronomer certainly has way more people knowing that they’re even a company now after what Andy Byron did. But yeah, it’s no surprise that he quote unquote resigned. My guess is they basically kind of like the Jacks Taylor situation, like, look, we’re gonna fire you, but because you’ve been loyal to us or whatever, however they wanted to word it, we’ll let you say you resigned and that’s what happened.
So. This story, it, it’s just amazing the legs that this thing has. And yes, it sucks for the wife. Absolutely. It sucks for Andy Byron’s wife because she probably can’t look anywhere online without seeing some meme about this. And while she’s gonna make out with half of his money and she’s probably happy he got caught.
They still have a family and they still have three kids. And yeah, it probably sucks to see. But it doesn’t make us bad people for laughing at, I don’t know, the Philly fanatic hugging another mascot at a Philly game on the kiss cam. Like, that’s funny. It’s not like we’re laughing at Andy Byron’s wife and her pain.
We’re allowed to laugh at the fact that the Philly fanatic as a mistress. So, but it’s, it’s unbelievable how much this story has taken off. Since it went down last week.
