BIP Tonight & Some News Since Friday, Big Brother Keeping Rylie from Media, CBS is Complicit in this Narrative, & Last Night’s HOH Episode

And here’s the thing I wanna say about Riley and also about CBS because CBS couldn’t have handled this any worse. I tweeted about this on Friday. I’m just gonna read you my tweets in case you didn’t see them. When reading my tweets about Friday, I said, you know.

I did a quote tweet of Dalton Ross saying There are no BB 27 eggs exit interviews happening today due to scheduling conflicts. I said, whoa, whoa. Well, gee, how convenient. It’s in the same schedule every Friday this season, but now the one guy everyone wants to hear from is evicted and CBS has scheduling conflicts.

Sure they don’t. And then I wrote, CBS couldn’t have handled everything with Riley this season any worse than they already have. Remember, they could have chosen to just not show us anything with him and Katherine, but they went the complete opposite way and gave us a false narrative of their relationship.

Embarrassing. And that’s the thing about all this is everyone that’s upset. About the live feeds, which is pretty much everyone that watches it. And then along with any alumni who has an opinion on this season was number one, rooting for Riley to be evicted on Thursday, and number two, rejoicing when he was evicted.

And if you want to throw a third one in there, we’re upset at the way he’s been treating Katherine on the live feed feeds. They’ve either seen the clips or they’ve read what he had said. So it’s not like people are just coming out of left field with all this stuff. This is Riley’s own doing. But I also put some blame on CBS for this because CBS, as we know, is showing a completely different storyline on their Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday episode.

They’re showing it. They’re like, they’re making the executive decision to be like, you know what? Let’s show Riley and Katherine falling for each other. Let’s show Riley and Katherine staying up late at night. Let’s show Riley and Katherine kissing each other. They could have just not done shown that storyline.

You could be like, Steve, why wouldn’t they wanna show a showman? I get what you’re saying. But they also know that while the showman is happening, what they chose to show us wasn’t really like, why don’t you show us the real things? Why don’t they show us? What he was saying to her behind closed doors.

Well, not behind closed doors, but you know what I mean with the cameras on them. Every clip that they showed was this lovey-dovey moment of these two falling for each other. And I’m sorry, CBS is complicit in that. How can they not be complicit? You know, it was their doing, this is what they chose to do, this is what they chose to show.

And it just, it really, really is head scratching. I don’t understand what their ultimate goal was here, you know? Because now he’s not talking. Who knows if it technically got postponed to this week? Oh, by the way, thank you to everybody who reached out on Friday. Once again, I made a huge brain fart during my podcast.

And before the right when you guys heard it, ’cause I said it numerous times, I think I said it two or three times, that oh my gosh, what if Riley, you know, and jury and Catherine goes to jury, they’re gonna spend more time there and we’re not gonna see any of it because we don’t get live feeds in the jury.

And a lot of you immediately emailed me and said, Steve Riley isn’t in the jury. I said, I know. Keep listening. And it wasn’t until like, I don’t know, like a minute or two before my podcast ended where I was like, wait a second. I’ve literally just been saying RI went to jury. And he’s not. Okay. So forget everything I said about that, but so now we know Riley and Katherine will not see each other until the earliest finale night.

The only way they see each other is if Katherine gets eliminated before jury and then she gets sent home. And these two get in touch with each other and talk and hang out or whatever. But my stance still stays the same with. Catherine I just think she’s in for a rude awakening because I also think most people that go on reality TV and they pair up with somebody and have a showman, they want that, that you wanna be liked as a couple by the public.

I know that that shouldn’t have any bearing. Every couple should just be like, we are into each other. We’re not gonna let what other people think of us affect our relationship. But when you’re in the public eye like that, it, it definitely has to take its toll. It can’t not, it doesn’t mean you’re automatically gonna break up, but it can’t not take a toll.

Right. So I do think that, um, Katherine and is not gonna stay with him. Not to mention did I not see a TikTok this weekend where some content creator got ahold of Katherine’s mom and stepdad and didn’t interview with them. And even they said, yeah, Katherine, I don’t see this lasting. I thought I saw that on TikTok over the weekend as well.

I don’t even know who the TikTok creator was, but they got a hold of her parents. I could, and excuse me if I’m getting this wrong, it’s either her stepmom and her dad or her mom and her stepdad, I can’t remember which one, but basically the people that are her parents now or what, that she considers her parents now, someone did an interview with them and the gist of it was we did not like what we were seeing, and I don’t see them staying together long term.

And that’s just the parent’s point of view without even having spoken to Katherine yet. Clearly Katherine’s gonna get off that show. Excuse me. Like I did mention on Friday, if she makes it to jury, I’m telling you she’s still gonna be oblivious ’cause she’s not gonna have her phone the whole time. So the first person she’s gonna run into on finale night and run into their arms is Riley.

And so nothing’s gonna change her mind right now. I and I haven’t read anything over the last. Since Friday’s podcast, I haven’t read anything. Friday, Saturday, or last night on the live feeds that said, anything that Catherine has done at 180 or someone went to her and said, okay, do you realize with Riley gone now how he treated you?

I don’t think that’s happened with her. I haven’t read that. So she’s not gonna just all of a sudden come to her senses and see what we all saw. So fascinating stuff. Alright, last thing I wanna discuss here. Last night’s episode, I kind of fast forwarded through BB unblocked. Just because even though it was the first 30 minutes, I just don’t think it’s really a adding much for me.

But Thursday night I watched the wall comp live. I think that might’ve been the first time I’ve ever watched a live competition happen in the house. Do they always televise the wall comp? Because I feel like that was the first time I ever watched it. ’cause when I was sitting there watching it, I was going, I don’t think I’ve ever watched this on the live feeds.

It certainly was interesting because they’re clearly feeding Rachel Riley lines to say like, oh no, here comes another storm. And she would say that line like three times and just in different tones. So I was like, yeah, I don’t remember ever seeing it like this. And again, maybe I’m going crazy, but I swear to God, I could have sworn Ava fell off.

It cut to feeds of the foster cats and the foster dogs. And then when they came back, Ava was back up on the wall. She didn’t end up winning, but I, and I, and I was sitting there hitting, trying to hit rewind. I guess you can’t rewind when you’re watching the live feeds because I was like, wait a second, Ava just fell off.

How is she back up there?

I, I don’t know what happened there. Does anybody else remember that? Can, can someone please confirm that for me? That I watched Ava fall off the wall and then within five to 10 seconds they went to the pictures of the cats and dogs. And then when they came back, Ava was back on the wall. Like, you don’t get second chances if you fall off the wall.

I dunno. But Vince ends up winning and he stayed up there. I mean, well, Catherine was the one that was second to last. It was Vincent and Catherine as the last two. And Catherine lasted, I think an hour and a half. Again, I don’t have more than six years invested into Big Brother. But I was curious when Catherine Phe was like, God, this seems to have lasted a while.

’cause I remember Taylor Hale just recently did an interview saying, I won the wall comp up and I was up there 47 minutes. Well, these two doubled her. Like last place got 30 minutes and that was Mickey. And Mickey and Will or Ashley and Will. No, sorry. Ashley and Will were the first ones off and they lasted 30 minutes and Taylor Hale won hers in 47.

I can’t imagine maybe somebody went out longer than an hour and a half in this, right. That’s my guess, but still an hour and a half is pretty good. And Catherine fell. Maybe it was like an hour and 27 minutes. Catherine fell. And then obviously. Vince doesn’t have to stay up there any longer. He doesn’t have to like hold out and be like, Hey, no, Vince, stay on.

See how long? See if you wanna set a record. No. Once Catherine fell, Vince was the winner. There was no need for him to stay up anymore. And so Vince going back and forth in the house, he’s made final twos with seemingly five or six people. He ends up putting up Ava because Ava put him up two weeks ago. He puts up Kelly because Kelly seems like an easy target.

To put up every week. This is their fifth time on the block, and then he put up Mickey, who he says is his target. Well, here’s the interesting thing about Mickey being the target. Again, what I’ve read over the last three days,

Vince has gone back and forth. He’s got Keanu telling him, if you’re gonna take a shot at Rachel, you gotta do it now. I hear, and then I read conversations between Vince and Rachel where they’re trying to work things out and saying We gotta keep the judges together. That five, which is Rachel, Vince, Ashley, will, and Morgan, right?

That’s the judges. So if Vince takes anybody down. Or has to do a Reno and he puts up Rachel. Well then the judge’s jury, the Judge’s Alliance is done now. Spoiler coming in. 3, 2, 1. The spoiler is Power of Veto was won by Mickey. So yes, Vince is gonna have to reno somebody. It seems like as I record this right now, we’ll know later on today things can change in the last 24 hours.

The last thing I seem to read before recording this. Was Rachel had talked her way out of it, and Vince was gonna reno, Kathryn, but anything can change in the last 24 hours. We know this, it seems like I get, it seems like everything that I report the night before ends up being wrong in the end anyway. So

yeah, I don’t, I don’t know how else to put it, but yeah, that’s, that’s where Vince is at right now. It looks like it’s gonna be Rachel or Kathryn. Oh wait. Now I just realized, I thought I remember something about Will going up and him putting will up just so he doesn’t piss off Rachel and or Catherine.

Something along those lines. Anyway, just a weird, weird, just a weird, weird day. Big brother world ’cause I feel like Vince is come. Everybody’s coming at Vince and like you should use it. You should not use it. Keep the noms the same. Well obviously you can’t keep the noms the same. I’m sorry. That conversation took place before Mickey won.

Mickey wins power veto and it just turns into, okay, well who is he gonna put up Catherine or Riley? Or is this will thing even a possibility we’ll know later on today? Anyway. Thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple Podcasts. Also, rate and review, but you gotta hit play. It’s the only way it counts as a download.

Sports Daily coming up in an hour from now if you wanna check that out. Again, thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
