What is the other thing we see every season when it comes to Paradise? Hell, you can include Bachelor and Bachelorette in this.
What is one thing you see with every couple that we know eventually ends up being together or getting engaged? What’s one thing you will see at some point during the season? Conflict? Yes. No couple in the history of this show has ever been end game from beginning to end, and the edit never showed us one issue between them as a couple.
And last night we got our first quote unquote issue between Spencer and Jess. Now, the funny thing is the issue literally lasted one segment. They were talking, Spencer said he wants to have kids with kids within two years. Jess says she wants to have start having kids by 30. Well, she’s only 26, so his clock is a little bit faster than hers.
She’s only moved for one guy in her life. She currently lives in San Diego, he lives in Dallas. She’s only moved for one guy in her life and he cheated on her twice. So she’s reluctant about moving, and Spencer was kind of sitting there going, well, I don’t think it’s that early to start in two years. Well, that was probably the wrong thing to say.
I, I don’t think he was saying it maliciously, but he was basically telling her after she told him. I don’t wanna have kids, essentially for another four years. She’s 26 and she mentioned the age of 30 and she’s like two years. That’s a little early for me. And he’s like, no, not really. What? Huh? You’re not the one carrying the kids, Spencer.
She’s the one telling you, this is how I feel about when I wanna have kids. You’re saying two years, and I’m saying that’s a little too early for me. Don’t tell me it’s not. Don’t tell me. Ah, that’s not too bad. Her body, her decision, right. Spencer? Like look, I’m just, obviously I’m just playing with them. I know they’re engaged, so happy thoughts to them.
But when he said that, I was like, that didn’t seem like the right thing to say. Tell her when you think it’s appropriate for her to have children. But again, it could have been an edited conversation. I, I don’t know. I’m just going off what we were able to see and that’s what he said to her in return.
But there could have been more to the conversation. But my point being about all of it is every couple that’s ever been on this show in the history of this show has had a moment in an edit where the show wants you to think, oh my gosh, they might not make it. Even if they had seven consecutive episodes of, oh my gosh, these two are attached at the hip.
Like nobody’s ever, and even if it’s in the same conversation, sometimes it’s been within the same conversation, the conversation starts out and both of them are like I don’t know. Or What about this and what about this? And I don’t know. And then they go to cut to an ITM and one of ’em is saying, yeah, I’m not really sure.
And then by the end of the same conversation, they’re on the same page with Spencer and Jess. I think it was the next segment. Right, or maybe later that day, but it wasn’t a lot. It wasn’t like, oh my gosh, total deal breaker. ’cause you could tell they liked each other. They just need to figure stuff out because it’s gonna be long distance.
I don’t know who’s moving for who. I I, I don’t know what their situation is in terms of who’s moving for who. Seems like Jess just got to San Diego a year ago, and Spencer’s been in Dallas I think for a long time. Doesn’t mean he’s gonna move to San Diego, but I don’t know, maybe Jess is moving to Dallas or maybe they’re moving somewhere neutral for the two of them.
I don’t know. Well, what I do know is that was basically the last couple on this season, who got an edit of, oh, wait a second. Could there be trouble in Paradise? Could there be something between them that doesn’t make them last or whatever. Even though, you know, Spencer and Jess get engaged. One of my biggest issues with this season, and obviously overall I’ve liked this season.
I’m, I’m fine with everything this season, really. I am, I think it’s better they’re improving. Obviously it has improvements it needs to make, and when it comes to the rose ceremonies, I, I just think you really, even though they’re kind of speeding through it, you really just gotta get rid of this. The situation that we were in last night and the situation we’ve been in for the last two or three row ceremonies.
Them where it’s like one couple is going home tonight, but yet you have every couple come up and give out a rose. It’s just like that is completely unnecessary and you can dedicate that time. If you were to cut all that out, you can dedicate that time to maybe showing the strength of other couples or showing more drama.
But I don’t need to see Dale get up there and give Cat a rose. I don’t need to see Spencer get up there, or Andrew get up there and give Alex A. Rose or Spencer, get up there and give Jess a rose. There’s no, there’s nothing to that. We already know they’re giving each other roses. They should just start the rose and say, one couple is going home tonight and this is, and it’s between these two couples or something.
That’s all you need to do. Yeah. This passing the rose down the line, it just doesn’t make any sense. We know who’s giving roses to who just seems so, so unnecessary now. Yesterday’s podcast. I talked about the fact that after the Alicia interview on Nick Al’s podcast, the AL Files, I said, I went and looked at Cat and Dale’s Instagram and they’re not following each other.
But I specifically said, I don’t know what that means because there are couples that are still left on the show that are following each other. And there are couples that are still left on that show that we know are still together to this day that aren’t following each other. I said I didn’t look before last Thursday.
If Cat and Dale were following each other, well, there’s two things I wanna point out. Number one, while Kat has not responded. To Alicia’s performance on the AL files and what she said on the Al files. Kat posted yesterday on her Instagram stories, a picture of her and Dale from Costa Rica that basically said, tune into tonight.
I’m pretty good at reading through the lines and stuff like this. Kat and Dale are still together. There’s no way she’s posting that. If she’s still, if she’s broken up with him and you can, I know you could say, Hey, Steve. Rachel Reia. ’cause you, I, I’ve pointed this out numerous times when it comes to social media.
I’ve said, look, anybody that says this couple is or isn’t together, I can always point back to on Valentine’s Day, Rachel Reia posted a picture from the c from the set of her and Clayton together kissing. And we all know that that was literally two or three months after the rose ceremony from hell had happened.
And he was clearly with Susie and didn’t pick her, and she was dumped in the end twice essentially. But I’m just saying, especially after what Alicia said last week, and Kat went radio silent on social media, her posting that. You can pretty much guarantee Cat and Dale are still together. The other thing I wanna point out, and you know this drives me nuts, is Dux Moi because Dux MOI is a gossip website that just throws a bunch of shit at the wall and basically admits that nothing they post is, can be proven or verified, or they try and say it’s not proven or verified because on its bio it says some statements made on this account have not been independently confirmed.
Well, there was a quote unquote blind item that said, just saw Dale kissing someone, not cat izo, and it named the location, but that’s all Dux Moy has to do. And while they may put that up on their bio that says some statements on the made on this account have not been independently confirmed, that’s their way of basically saying, Hey, we’re not saying everything we post is true, but we’re gonna post so much stuff.
That 90% of it usually isn’t true, but 10% of it is, and 90% of you are probably gonna believe the 10% that end ends up being true. And the 90% that isn’t true. We still know that 90% of you are gonna believe it’s true. Dale’s kissing. I mean, do you know how, how easy that is to someone to email Ducks Mo and say, Hey, saw Dale kissing someone here wasn’t Kat Ooh, drama.
I’m gonna send it into Duck Moy. You listening to this right now, could send that in to them tomorrow and they’ll post it. So anybody who sent that to me, which was over 10 of you again, I don’t know what to tell you other than Dux. Moy literally has it in their bio that they don’t independently confirm anything.
They just post everything. They get something comes true, great. If it doesn’t, they don’t care. They just want people believing it, and most people do. So unfortunately. There was no pictures of it. There’s no videos of it. I’m not gonna sit here and say he didn’t do it, but I’m not sitting here and saying he did do it.
Like I know a lot of people obviously are, and I’m telling you Cat and Dale are still together and we’ll see that whenever they film the reunion show next Wednesday. Alright, let’s talk a little Big Brother. To end this podcast, I’m gonna do the ingris email, or excuse me, the Laura email, or Laura friend email to Dave Neil tomorrow, because it got me riled up.
But I wanna end this with Big Brother today. Spoiler coming. Yes, we know that on Big Brother, the Power of Veto competition happened and Mickey won it. So, Mickey, Kelly, Kelly and Ava are on the block. Mickey won Power of Veto on Saturday. So yesterday was the veto ceremony. Clearly Mickey used it on herself and if you watched the live feeds or you read anything on the live feeds, when Vinny woke up yesterday morning, he said he was 50 50.
He did not know what he was gonna do. He either put Rachel up or put Catherine up and he went back and forth. But Rachel’s tribe prevailed and he ended up putting Catherine up. So Rachel has not been on the block all season long. The other big thing is Keanu and Rachel are now fighting again, and Rachel basically hates Keanu.
Now. Rachel hates Keanu, but she got caught and Keanu called her out for getting caught and then she’s now just turned it on him. I don’t know, I think it’s more funny than anything else. But basically Rachel told Vince something and Vince. Ran w right to Keanu with it and or maybe she told, she told somebody something, sorry, should have gotten this I should have gotten my names correct in all this, but essentially, no.
She told Keanu something and he immediately ran to Vince with it, and then Vince told Ashley about it and Ashley told Rachel, Rachel, what are you doing? I can’t believe you told Keanu that, like Ray Ashley was in the right. And Rachel’s like, oh my gosh. I know like she admitted she was wrong for telling Keanu what she did, but then she goes off on him and doesn’t wanna talk to him, and they got in a fight in the kitchen.
But here’s the thing with Keanu, and as much, as much as Rachel has immediately turned on him and they are no longer in any sort of alliance, and she literally went off on him and basically said, don’t talk to me. Get away from me in the kitchen. Keanu did still say. I wanna win this game. I cannot be the one to send Rachel home.
The person I wanna be sitting next to on finale night is the person who sends her home As hard as Brendan was, fighting for her to win on jury is how hard she will fight to make sure the person that sent her home will not win. So anybody who thinks Keanu is dumb or Keanu doesn’t know how to play this game, trust me, he’s made mistakes in this game.
There’s no doubt about that. However, he is dead right with that. He is spot on with that. Just because Rachel doesn’t like him, he doesn’t want, he still doesn’t wanna be the one to send her out. And that’s smart because he’s right. He needs the person sitting next to him on finale night, and it’s still hard to navigate that now.
We still got a lot of people left, but if he can get there, at least he’s thinking, no, I don’t wanna sit next to Rachel. I don’t want to be the one that eliminates her from this game because she will get to the jury house and say, absolutely not. You’re not voting for Keanu. He wants to sit next to the person who votes out Rachel, or who is the mastermind behind getting Rachel out?
’cause then he feels like he’s gonna win. And you know what? If that’s the case, if Keanu does get to Final two and is sitting next to the person who masterminded. The eviction of Rachel Riley. Yeah, I do think it’s possible that Keanu can win this now unless Rachel is at Final Three, because then Rachel doesn’t spend any time in the jury house if she goes home at three.
’cause remember, they bring her out and they bring that person out, eliminated at three to sit with the jury right there on the live show on the finale night. So a lot depends on at what point Rachel gets to the jury, if she even does. Because right now Rachel Riley is in the driver’s seat by Vince putting up Catherine and not Rachel.
Vince has decided basically to keep the judges alliance alive and he keeps the Judge Alliances alive and it looks like the Judge’s Alliance could be your final five. So. Really, really, that was a big move yesterday. Not putting Rachel up and putting Katherine up. So Katherine, Kelly, and Ava. It doesn’t look like Ava’s going home at all if she’s in the final two, if she’s sitting there on the block against either Mickey or Kelly, who, it’s not Mickey or Kelly, Catherine or Kelly, whoever wins BB Blockbuster, if Ava doesn’t win it, I think she’s safe based on the votes yesterday.
But then again, that vote isn’t until Thursday. A lot of things can change, but right now it looks like if Kelly doesn’t win BB Blockbuster, she’s going home. Kelly goes home against Ava. Kelly goes home against Katherine. Katherine only goes home if Kelly wins BB Blockbuster, which is possible. And Katherine’s sitting there with Ava Catherine to be the one to be eliminated as of right now.
We’re still days away from Thursday’s live eviction. Anyway, thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple Podcasts. Also rate and review, but you gotta hit play. It’s the only way it counts as a download. Sports Daily coming up in an hour from now, so go check that out as well. Again, thank you for listening.
I really appreciate it, and I’ll talk to you tomorrow. See ya.
