As for the Bachelor, I’m sure you’ve seen the rumors, and I’m sure you’ve seen the casting call put out there by certain casting people on Instagram. You’ve seen it by the Bachelor commercials that they run. You might have seen some things on Instagram.
Yes, I’ve seen them too. Here’s the thing that I can say about The Bachelor. We talked about this before the season started when I had Game of Roses on Chad said it himself and I said, look, before we even get started with Bachelor in Paradise, now that we know that they’ve completely changed things up, they’ve gone to a new location, they’ve got a new show runner, they’re shooting it differently.
Yeah, everything’s on the table for next season of the Bachelor, meaning this show now under new management and new showrunners, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s gonna be like previous seasons. So there is a very good chance, and I don’t think I’m breaking much news here, there’s a very good chance that the next bachelor is going to be somebody that nobody knows in terms of the Bachelor fan base.
It’s not going to be a recycled contestant. I’m 95% sure that’s the route they’re going. I guess they could always pull somebody, but the way that they are advertising this, it looks like they’re really interested in guys, and I know that there are some finalists. I’ve seen two Instagram accounts of men that are finalists on the show.
Neither of them are from Bachelor Nation. Now, we also know every season they reach out to guys and tell them, oh, you’re a finalist. We’d love to talk to you, and they end up going with a recycled, recycled contestant. I guess that’s possible, but I just don’t see anybody that they’re gonna be looking at within this franchise to do as the next bachelor.
Here’s the one bit of information I can tell you about the next bachelor season that I do know for a fact. It’s not starting filming when it normally does. Now, this is really interesting. I’ve heard Bachelor filming doesn’t start till the beginning of October now. Now, does that mean they’re shortening the filming schedule as well, or just because they’re going to basically delay filming two weeks?
Does that mean they are just adding two weeks on the back end? Because then if you do, all the contestants are staying through Thanksgiving. And is that what you wanna do? They have never filmed the Bachelor. For those that don’t know, their schedule has always been, you start filming around September 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, whatever, wherever it falls in September, and then they wrap filming before Thanksgiving.
Well, now that filming is gonna be delayed at least two weeks based on everything that I’ve heard, which. I’ve been pretty accurate with everything on Bachelor in Paradise this season, so I don’t think this is inaccurate. They’ve pushed back filming, so now my question just becomes, all I know is that they’ve pushed the start of filming back.
I don’t know if that means they’re gonna keep the same length of filming. Part of me thinks, well, if you do, you’re keeping these people through a holiday. I can’t imagine they’re keeping people through a holiday they never have before. But things are different now. They’re probably going with a bachelor that isn’t a former contestant, so maybe now that they’re doing that, they’re keeping people through a holiday.
I don’t know. I just know they’re not starting filming till October. So keep that in mind. Normal time, third week of September, that’s definitely not happening. I know that for a fact. The exact start date, no, I don’t. I just know beginning of October. I don’t think that means October 1st, but I don’t think it means October 15th.
I just heard beginning of October, so there you go. Now we gotta talk about Big Brother for the rest of this podcast and let’s discuss a couple things that happened last night. Kelly wins her third BB Blockbuster of the season. It’s the most anybody has ever won. Granted, BB Blockbuster has only been around basically two seasons.
Last season it was called the Arena. Now it’s just BB Blockbuster. She’s won three. Nobody’s ever won three. Kathryn goes home by a seven to one vote. Riley last week, Kathryn, this week they can now go procreate. You heard Julie ask Catherine at the end. Hey, seem like Riley might have been into you more than you’re into him.
No, I really like him. I miss him. Can’t wait to see him now. Neither of them make the jury. Whoever gets eliminated next Thursday night doesn’t make the jury, but everybody after that does. So we’re gonna have nine people left after next week’s eviction. So we’re gonna have a seven person jury this season.
As I’m recording right now, I’m actually recording later than normal. Because I stayed up to watch all the football games before I started recording, but as of right now, it’s almost midnight central time. There has not been an HOH that has been crowned yet, so I can’t tell you who HOH is unless in the next, I don’t know, seven minutes.
I, I’ll, I’ll check. I’ll check the live Feed Twitter account and maybe in the next seven minutes I’ll know who the HOH is, but probably not. But anyway. Riley and Catherine, I’ll get to them in a second. Here’s what I thought was interesting about last night and the conversation that Catherine had with Julie.
I’m sure a lot of you noticed it, but Julie told Catherine about the judges alliance, Vince, Rachel will, Ashley Morgan, and they put it up on the screen behind Julie and Catherine was looking at it. However, on the screen behind Julie, it had Mickey instead of Morgan in the picture. And when Katherine was looking at the picture, I think she was looking at the picture and not paying attention to what Julie said and just assumed Julie got it wrong when she said Morgan and she was looking at Mickey because she commented about how Mickey was part of that alliance.
We also found out that next week Angela is going to return and do something. I find her incredibly annoying. I’ve never understood the hype around her as some Queen of Big Brother, because she literally crashed out in that first week and was rude as fuck to Lisa and Matt can’t convince me otherwise. We find out that the Mastermind, I literally said it in yesterday’s podcast.
I said, this guy was. The focal point of your season in the first two or three episodes, and we haven’t seen him since. What’s the whole point of hotel? My steer? What does this guy even do? We literally haven’t seen him in over a month. Did the big brother producers listen to the daily roundup? They must.
Right? Because literally the day after I say that podcast, they’re like, oh yeah. By the way, mastermind is returning next week. Of course he is. You’re welcome. CBS. Why don’t you just make me an executive producer? I’ll just give you all the ideas. So I wanna end with this, and that’s the Katherine and Riley stuff I told you in the open.
Riley ended up doing press yesterday, but the press was, he had to answer emails. He didn’t get on a Zoom with anybody. He didn’t verbally talk to anybody. Mike Bloom and Dalton Ross got to send him email questions and he got to answer them. So this is what Mike Bloom asked him. While you had a lot of emotional moments with Katherine in the house, they were not always positive at times.
You expressed anger that she wouldn’t kiss you or sleep in the same bed as you. You were telling her at points to watch her attitude and tone and that quote, I’m not being I, I’m being with you outside of this, whether you like it or not. Fans have felt through that behavior that you were talking down to her being controlling and not consenting to boundaries that she placed.
Give me your reaction to that. If this isn’t the most PR scripted answer I’ve ever heard, not to mention the answer I told you is exactly, or this answer is exactly the answer I told you he was gonna give once he got outta the house and he realized America hated him. What did I tell you he was gonna say?
He says, I hear those concerns. And I wanna say first that I never intended to make Catherine feel uncomfortable or disrespected. I care about her deeply. And every emotion I showed came from a place of love. Being in that house. Emotions run high and sometimes I didn’t express myself in the best way. I’m passionate, but I’m also learning.
I respect boundaries and I’m committed to growing from this experience. You know how I know Riley didn’t answer that himself? ’cause there wasn’t a bunch of M Fers in that answer. He curses every five words.
What a what? A garbage, an that is. That is so PR driven. I don’t buy that for a second. They’ve told him he’s had four days basically, or five days essentially, to get on, to get online, look at his phone, and realize everybody in America hates him. Or people that follow on the live feeds all dislike him for how he treated and talked to Catherine.
So he’s had five, six days to come up with something, and that was his answer. What did I tell you he was gonna say? He is like, oh, I, it’s basically intent versus impact. Oh, I, I didn’t mean to come across that way. I’m sorry if it did. Do you honestly think that’s the only time that guy has acted that way in his life so bad?
And then Dalton asked him, what’s your reaction upon hearing how fans have reacted to your behavior in the house? He said, it’s heartbreaking to me misunderstood. People online don’t know me, but my friends, family, fellow house guests and Catherine do. And that’s what’s important. I spend every day in that house with people who truly know me, who see the real me, someone who’s loving, funny and full of heart.
It hurts to be painted as aggressive when all I’ve ever done is lead with passion and care. Oh my God, this guy’s making me puke. It’s so bad. So bad, but not the least bit surprising. This is exactly what I told you. He would say, oh, I didn’t mean it. I’m just, this is how I am. I’m really into somebody and I wear my heart on my sleeve.
Oh my God. So it’ll be really interesting because now Catherine’s gonna find out about him, about his past and the fact that he’s got. At least one child, maybe two, he might not even be supporting them financially. We still don’t really know the full answer. But again, last week I, I ended up talking about it when that person on TikTok was able to interview her stepmom and her father, and they were like, yeah, we don’t see this lasting long.
But it will be interesting to hear Catherine’s answers today, assuming they let her do media, which they should. I saw Sharon Tharp on Twitter ask for people to send in their questions for Katherine. So as of right now, the media’s gonna get Katherine tomorrow. But as I said, the things that RI said to her, she witnessed.
I told you it’s not like she got out. She’s gonna get outta the house now and realize, oh my God, he did all this stuff behind my back. No, he did everything to her face and in the moment it didn’t bother her. And then when Julie asked her about it last night, she said absolutely into him really fell for that guy.
Can’t wait to see him. So it’s only gonna be the stuff about his past that is going to be like, whoa, that’s gonna give her a maybe tap the brakes moment. ’cause it’s clearly not the way he talked to her or treated her on the show. The other thing that we have to now jump into is the Vince Morgan relationship.
For those that haven’t been watching the live feeds, Vince and Morgan have been very, very cozy. Have they kissed? No, but they have spent an awful lot of time hugging snuggling, being very lovey-dovey with each other, and that has made it to Vince’s girlfriend that he’s had for a while. Not to mention his cousin took to Instagram yesterday and said, Vince has been my close friend for 20 years, and Kelsey is my cousin.
Kelsey is Vince’s girlfriend. Trust me, he’s gonna have to deal with all of this when he gets back and it won’t be good shaking my SMFH, shaking my f-ing head, I don’t know what the fuck he’s thinking. And he also wrote, the internet will always be a crazy place. People don’t care what they say or post. It is what it is.
What she needs to do is protect her peace by staying far away from this bs. He’s talking about his cousin Kelsey, Vince’s girlfriend. She knows she has a lot of people supporting her, and trust me, when I say never in a million years, what I expect him to do, the shady shit like this on live and national television.
Nonetheless, Kelsey even jumped in. Responded to somebody on Instagram. I never gave an okay to flirt as a strategy. We talked extensively about boundaries before he left. This isn’t gonna end well for Vince, because remember, Vince and Morgan both live in Southern California. I believe they live like 30 minutes from each other.
So do we honestly think that Vince is gonna get outta that house based on what Kelsey wrote and her cousin wrote? It doesn’t look like Kelsey’s gonna stay with him. Maybe he’s got a grovel and plead, but if you were Kelsey and you were watching what was going on in the live feeds, there’s absolutely no way you would be okay with it.
If you truly loved this man and wanted to still be with him, this would be unacceptable behavior. So if he gets outta the house and Kelsey breaks up with him or doesn’t break up with him, do you think Kelsey would be cool with him still being close personal friends with Morgan? I don’t think so. He is, he’s either gonna end up broken up with Kelsey and he is gonna start dating Morgan or he’s gonna still be with Kelsey and I don’t see any way.
Kelsey is cool with him being still close with Morgan. But yeah, that has gotten very, very, they’ve gotten very, very close the last two or three days on the live feed. So many clips out there where you’re just like, oh, well, okay, they’re single. They can do that in the Big brother house. Well, he’s not, and his girlfriend has seen it and she’s being kind of attacked online ’cause people think that she’s cool with it.
And she’s basically saying, no, I’m not. And her cousin jumped in saying, I can’t believe this guy’s doing this. Never would’ve expected this from him. So unfortunately I don’t know what Vince is doing. Oh, by the way, I want to end with this. Riley was asked by Mike Bloom to give a short answer about every house guest.
And these were his answers. Ava, great person. Katherine, the most incredible and loving woman I’ve ever met in life. Keanu best friend, Kelly sweetheart. Lauren, great girl. So sweet with positive energy. Mickey, great person with a great mind and heart. Morgan. Good friend that I could laugh with. Rachel.
Strong woman with a beautiful family and I respect her. Vince cool dude Will, great human, amazing husband with positive energy. I mean, there’s no way that, that’s the way RI feels about everybody in the house. He’s just, he is just trying to kiss ass so bad because he knows America hates him right now.
And just like all these lovey, I mean it would’ve been great if he was actually honest about that, but we heard him shit talk a lot of the contestants in the house and you just heard all those answers he gave for the remaining house guests. Yeah. Sorry, RI don’t buy it. I don’t buy it at all. Good luck with Catherine.
