Daily Roundup 11/18 – My Patreon Channel Now Live, First Live Re-Watch This Friday Night, Taylor Frankie Paul’s Vegas Dates Spoiled, Survivor 50, & BTTF Legos

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality. Steve Podcast, I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Tuesday. Got a good show for you. Gonna go over the Patreon channel. It launched yesterday. We’ve already had some signups. I’ll tell you all about it, how you can sign up, what you’re getting when you sign up and all those goodies.

We finally have some sort of video and photographic evidence that Taylor, Frankie Paul’s bachelorette season is filming. TMZ posted it yesterday. I’ll give you the details on that. We’ve got the Survivor season 50 Premier date. And what they’re gonna do to promote season 50. And we’ll get to all that plus one more.

Back to the future thing that I got yesterday. We’ll get to all that momentarily. Alright? So if you didn’t see my social media posts, I’m telling you right now, I’m gonna be banging it down your throat. Geez, that didn’t sound wonderful, but I’m going to be force feeding it. I’m gonna be hitting you over the head with it for the next few days until.

The first live rewatch, so my Patreon channel is now live, it’s patreon.com/reality, Steve, very simple. Now, there’s two ways that you sign up for it in terms of what you can pay. You can pay $5 a month, or you can save 20% by signing up for the full year, which is 48 bucks for a full year. And so you’re gonna ask, what is that gonna get you?

I will tell you, so for Patreon subscribers, you will get early access, first access to my Thursday weekly podcast guest. Now, that’ll be coming on different days because it’s, whenever I record it, I will record it and then immediately put it up on my Patreon. So you guys will have access to it first. It’s still gonna go up for free on my YouTube channel on Thursdays at 9:15 AM Eastern Time.

But as a bonus and as part of the Patreon community, you’ll get that first. Like I said, sometimes I record at a week in advance. Very few very rare do I do that. It’s usually recorded on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of the week. The podcast drops. I can tell you right now. I haven’t recorded this week’s podcast yet.

It could be coming later today. It could be coming tomorrow. I don’t know, I might wait a week, but I want to to be just because this is brand new and I just gotta figure out all the kinks, but at the latest starting next week, you’ll be getting the weekly podcast whenever I record it, sometimes I’ll record the weekly podcast live, so you can watch me record it live, and then it’ll still go up on my Patreon in case you missed it.

And then. Still go up for free on my YouTube channel. So that is something that you will get early access to. You will also get early access to any videos that I do on Patreon talking about anything in regards to Bachelor Nation and anything in regards to entertainment news that I think is big news to talk about.

So you will have that me going live on my Patreon before anyone else. Now, the biggest thing that you will get. That nobody else will get is the live rees of movies and TV shows that I plan on doing, because I can’t post those anywhere else. It’s only gonna be posted on my Patreon. So what it is, is we are going to watch movies on nights that I designate.

It’s not gonna be the same time every week just because of my schedule and. I mean, I can’t say all of your schedule ’cause it’d be impossible for everybody to have the same schedule, but basically it’ll come down to my schedule. I just don’t know when I’m gonna do it on a weekly basis. But right now the plan is movies and TV shows mostly from the eighties and nineties.

And when I say TV shows, it’s not gonna do a rewatch of a whole season. But we are going to do, I would say, memorable episodes. I’ve already picked out a few that I got ready to go. I will tell you about later as I promote them and we decide to watch them if you’re interested, but they’re good ones. Yes, there of shows that I like, but there are also shows that I think have a very pop culture, a very, a very big fan base at some point of people that liked that show and they would be interested in that particular episode.

Some are dramas, some are comedies. Our kids shows, so you’ll know what I mean. When when I tell you what one of the rewatch is we’re gonna be doing shortly is, but that’s the exclusive that you get, at least for now, that nobody else will ever get, because that’s only going to be on my Patreon, that will never go to my YouTube channel.

As you saw me post yesterday, or maybe you didn’t. I did say that the first live rewatch is happening this Friday night, 8:00 PM Eastern, seven Central six Mountain five Pacific. I understand that does not work for everybody, but for the first video, for the first live rewatch, we’re gonna do back to the future.

And once you’re signed in on that night and you’re watching, there will be a live chat where people can chime in. I’m not gonna talk over the movie, I know back to the future, like the back of my hand, so I can pretty much pick and choose my spots when I’m gonna choose to talk. And I’ll make sure it’s not over anybody.

And I don’t plan on pausing the movie very often. And if I do, it’ll only be for a few quick seconds. It’s not like I’m gonna pause a scene and then talk for two or three minutes. So I think what we’ll do is we’ll watch it. I’ll be making comments throughout the movie. I’ll look at your comments, maybe address those, and then at the end, maybe do a, you know, a q and a if anybody has stuff, or just comment and talk about the movie.

But. Yeah, I think that that’s gonna be the exclusive that you get on my Patreon channel, along with that and something that is never gonna go to a podcast or never gonna go to my YouTube channel. So I’m really excited about this, as you can tell. Finally, get to talk more back to the future with everybody.

And I don’t know, like I said, this Friday night, 8:00 PM Eastern time, 5:00 PM Pacific, we’re going live. You know, we’ll do an intro. I gotta make sure all the kinks are worked out, the sound and all that stuff. So it it bear with me at least for the first few episodes as I get the hang of it. And then I, I can’t say that movie watching night is always gonna be on a Friday night or always gonna be on a Saturday night.

You know, obviously we got the holidays coming up, so am I really gonna do one on Black Friday, the night of Black Friday? I don’t know. Maybe which is what next Friday, right? So, yeah. I don’t know if I’m gonna do one next Friday. Maybe I’ll do it earlier in the week. Maybe I’ll do it Wednesday night. Oh wait, that’s survivor night.

Yeah. I can’t do that Wednesday night. So we also gotta see once these shows end and, and then it, when the new season starts. And then once football is over, like it’s just gonna be based on my schedule, but maybe for the next few weeks we will do it on Friday night. I gotta, I gotta determine, but all I know is right now, first live rewatch happening this Friday night, we’re gonna watch Back to the Future the greatest trilogy, in my opinion.

And I think it’s hard to argue that it is the greatest trilogy ever made. Meaning there’s a movie franchise that only made three movies. There aren’t many. You know, Friday the 13th Nightmare on Elm Street. Those all made 6, 7, 8, 9 movies. That’s not, that’s not a trilogy movie that you can look at. The Rocky movies made six.

So that’s out. Like think of movie franchises that only made three, two, come to the top of my head back to the Future in Godfather, and just like Brad Gilmore says in his book, hopefully we’ll get Brad on the podcast soon, just like Brad Gilmore says in his book. Back to the future. Three is much better than Godfather three.

So that makes back to the Future Trilogy better than the Godfather Trilogy. You know, the Jaws movies, there were more than three. Did Austin Powers do three or two? Eh, even if they did three? I don’t think it matches up to Back to the Future. There’s just not a lot of movie franchises that stopped at three.

There isn’t. So that’s why you can, you can say with a pretty strong conviction that Back to the Future Trilogy is the greatest trilogy in movie history. I think it is. You’re never gonna convince me that it’s not. But that’s what we got. So look forward to that sign up reality, Steve patreon.com/reality.

Steve, once you sign up, it’s very easy. Either click the monthly for five bucks, or you click the annual with 20% off. It’ll cost you 48 bucks. So thanks to all of those. You have signed up. Looking forward to more signing up. Looking forward to Friday night. It’s gonna be a good time, and as I get the hang of it, I’ll be doing more and more stuff on Patreon, so look forward to that and I look forward to seeing you guys.

Any of you that are coming in on Friday night.
