We are going to watch the season two episode nine episode of Saved by the Bell, the episode where Jesse Spano ods on caffeine pills, when they should have just titled it.
The title of the episode is actually called Jesse’s Song. They should probably title it. Jesse Overdoses and Takes Drugs. Okay, maybe not kind of a stretch, but. I’ll talk about that in a little bit. Also, I have some off camera Taylor, Frankie Paul Bachelorette news that I wanted to share with you. I’ve known this for a few weeks now, but I wanna put it out there because I think it’s interesting, although it doesn’t look like it might not even be a story on the show, tell you what I’m talking about.
It looks like Kat and Dale have broken up. I’m very well aware of Anka from Colton’s season and her. 26, 27 Part TikTok series, the Danish Deception. It’s getting a lot of run nationally now. She’s been doing it, I think it ended on Friday was the last video she posted about it. And there’s a lot of thoughts that people have.
I’ll give you my brief thoughts on it because, well, I’ll tell you why in a second. And is Glen Powell now indirectly involved in the Bachelor franchise? We’ll discuss. Alright, let’s get begin. Let’s begin with this. So, as I mentioned, coming up at three o’clock, today is the live rewatch of season two, episode nine of Saved by the Bell, which was titled Jesse’s song.
They could have easily titled it Jesse’s a Drug Addict, and it’s when Jesse Spano overdosed on caffeine pills. I don’t even know if I want to call it overdosed. She just took a nap ’cause she took too many. But I purposely have not re-watched this episode. Have I seen. We all know the, the famous clip of her saying, I’m so excited.
I’m so excited, I’m so scared. We know that clip. I’ve seen it a thousand times on social media, but I purposely have not rewatched the episode because I wanna rewatch it with everyone today, and I don’t even know if I remember the other major points about the episode. I think this is the episode where they formed the girl group.
Hot. Uh, hot, hot Sunday. Yeah. Zach calls the three of them, Jesse, Lisa, and Kelly Hot Sunday, and they all of a sudden are singers. All the, I, I don’t even understand where this came from. I don’t even know if this was the first episode where they showed they can sing. I it. I don’t know. That’s the only thing I remember.
But I don’t remember like the flow of the episode. I just remember Jessie is all stressed out because she wants to get into Stanford and so to study for tests to keep her up at night, she needs to take caffeine pills and hilarity ensues. So we’ll be watching that at three o’clock Eastern time today. I know that doesn’t work for everybody.
And with something like this past Friday night with Back to the Future, you could have, you had a two hour window where you could have tuned in and. Come in at any point or join us in the beginning and had to leave early to go do something. Or maybe you weren’t available in the beginning but you joined in.
I understand this is gonna be 22 minutes today, the episode itself, ’cause there’s no commercials, so I don’t even know how many of you’re gonna be able to join me, but either way, it’s going to be on my Patreon channel. patreon.com/reality. Steve, coming up at three o’clock today, as we rewatch one of the most iconic television episodes ever, it probably should have won an Emmy from what I can remember. So excited about that today. No new news to report on what’s going on in Taylor. Frankie Paul’s filming in Miami. But here’s something that I had been told a couple weeks ago and I’m trying to dig a little bit more into it ’cause I just find it very interesting and also kind of weird and I’m curious to see if it’s brought up on the show.
So I figured I’d bring it up now if it becomes a storyline on the show, I gotta believe it is. If it’s true, which I have no reason to believe it isn’t. Anyway, here’s the story. There’s a guy cast on this season by the name of Josh Harward, H-A-R-W-A-R-D. He’s 28, and he’s in Provo, Utah. And remember when I gave you the guys, the day that the men list came out for Taylor season, I said.
Taylor, Frankie Paul is following this guy. I said, I have no idea why she’s following. She’s not following anybody else on the cast, but she’s following this guy, so she must know him in some capacity, but I had no idea what that was. I just noticed that she was following him, and I put that out there. The day the cast list came out.
Well come to find out, and this is what I was told. I have reason to believe this is true. If it’s not, I’ll immediately take it back. But I think it is true. The seriousness of it is debatable, but. I was told that Josh Harward was the boyfriend of Taylor, Frankie Paul’s sister, Aspen. Now this isn’t recent.
I was told they dated around COVID time is what I was told, but it would make sense why Taylor, Frankie Paul would follow this guy on Instagram. She knows him. He dated her sister. But now this guy coming on the show who dated Aspen five years earlier and now wants a shot at Taylor, look, it’s either gonna be brought up when he comes outta the limo and Taylor’s gonna say something, or it’s not even gonna be mentioned and nobody’s gonna know about it outside of people that listen to this podcast and then spread it around when this gets aggregated by Instagram accounts and whatnot.
So I guess we’ll just have to wait until that first episode to see if this becomes any sort of storyline like Taylor is so turned off by the fact that this guy used to date her sister. Now, from what I heard, this isn’t a guy that went out on one or two dates with Aspen. I heard they were fairly serious to the point they were talking marriage.
So that’s why this makes it a little bit creepy if he had gone out with Aspen a couple times and then showed up on Taylor’s season to be like, oh. I remember you, you kinda went out with my sister for a little bit. This is a lot different if it’s true that they were close to marriage and at least discussing it.
And this was a serious boyfriend of Aspens because then if you’re Taylor, you’re almost like, no. But then again, Taylor Soft was soft swinging with her friend’s husbands. So I, is this something that wouldn’t even, she would even blink an eye at? That’s what I’m saying. Maybe it’s not even a storyline.
Maybe it’s not a big deal. I don’t know. But from everything that I have been led to believe, Josh Harward absolutely was a serious boyfriend of Taylor’s sister, Aspen. Now, Josh isn’t a major player on this season. He’s gone in like episode one or two. But is it because they bring it up and Taylor’s just having, is weirded out by it, or is it not even mentioned on the show?
Again, we won’t know that until fucking March unless I can find something out about it. Beforehand. But yeah, I thought it was interesting to note that, that a guy went on this show that used to hook up and date her sister. But again, Taylor is someone who soft swings with her friend’s husbands, so I don’t know, maybe it isn’t a big deal to her.
