You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve. Thank you all for tuning in a good Wednesday show for you. I’m gonna talk about what’s upcoming on the weekly podcast update on Taylor. Frankie Paul’s filming the Patreon rewatch yesterday. Saved by the bell, Jesse Spano, addicted to caffeine pills.
Little update on that. Obviously gotta talk about the Dancing With the Stars finale. Mom Talk Secret. Lives of Mormon wives. Gossip Trained was just out of control yesterday. And it’s not even really gossip because it’s basically been confirmed by the parties involved. I’m so just I almost think this is too much and it’s just almost stupid at this point.
And then did you see the other night when Kate Beckinsale went on Jimmy Kimmel and the story that she told, what is going on in this world? Anyway, let’s get started. Podcast number 4 71 is coming tonight. I’m not gonna release it on Thursday just because I know a lot of you have a lot to do on Thursday and I expect listenership to be down on Thursday.
It’s already recorded. I just gotta upload it so it’ll go up at some point tonight. And it’s with Dave Neil and we talk about the Laura Owens Clayton Eckard case. We talk about. Nick Vial because he was at it again last week in Coverage of Love Is Blind. We’re gonna talk about comedians and the comedy festival in Riyadh because Dave obviously does stand up.
Want to get his take on that. His appearance on Rachel Yuca tells podcast last week as well, and we talk a little Augie, his son, along with other things. So that’s gonna come tonight. If you’re a Patreon subscriber, you already received it last night, it’s up on my Patreon channel at patreon.com/reality.
Steve, an update from the Bachelorette filming yesterday, Taylor Frankie Paul posted a few things on her Instagram. Again, she’s been posting on her Instagram periodically throughout the season. A lot of videos and photos involving production, so that’s rather new. But all she’s done. Is tell us the locations and show us the locations.
She was, we already knew that she was in, she posted from Colorado, she posted from Vegas. She posted from Miami yesterday. Well, those were later gram pictures and videos, because they’re outta Miami. They are now headed to hometowns. I don’t know who the hometowns are. I just know they’re done filming in Miami.
I’m sure when hometowns start. We’ll get at least one. I mean, there’s been very few seasons where Zero hometowns got out, but there’s been seasons where only one of them got out publicly. There’s been seasons where two got out. There’s been seasons where three got out and there’s been seasons where all four got out.
So we won’t know until those take place. But they are down to their final four of Taylor, Frankie Paul’s season and hometowns. I be leave, begin filming Thursday. But if it starts Thursday, then it’s gonna be Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday. If they start today, then it’s Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday.
But maybe they do start today because I can’t imagine they would start on Thursday, Thanksgiving day. I then again, they’ve never filmed the Bachelor bachelorette season. That always the bachelor season has always filmed September to November, but they always finish before the holidays. Obviously Taylor, Frankie, Paul’s season didn’t start filming until the end of October, and I told you at the time, they were going all the way up to a few days before Christmas, so they’re basically right on track because.
As I’ve said, every season, it essentially takes one month to go from however many you start with down to four, and then it takes another three weeks to go from four down to one. Because there’s time in between way more travel time. You know you’re filming every other day when you get to hometowns, and then you gotta do a day or two for travel to wherever they’re headed.
And then overnights and then a rose ceremony, and then last cha meet the parents, and then the last date and all this stuff. So I’ve heard it’s, it ends filming around December 17th, 18th, 19th, that area. And assuming. I dunno, maybe hometowns do start today. I just can’t imagine they would start on Thanksgiving, but who knows?
We’re dealing with a whole new production team and we’re dealing with a whole new thing that we’ve just never seen before in this franchise, but maybe it’s today. So they go 26th, 28th, 30th and second with the rose ceremony on the third. You would travel on the fourth, maybe in the fifth, and then you would start filming there, you know, sixth, seventh, eighth row ceremony on the ninth.
I, it depends. It really depends. If they take a day off in between overnight, sometimes they have in the past, sometimes they don’t. We just don’t know because they have a whole new production schedule and a production team on this show. But they are done down to they are done traveling at least up to hometowns.
They are at hometown dates. There’s only four men left. I don’t know who the four are, but as soon as I know if something gets out, I will let you know. Anyway, speaking of my Patreon. We had a rewatch yesterday afternoon of the Saved by the Bell episode, season two, episode nine, called Jesse’s Song, and it’s the one, one of the more memorable episodes in that franchise history, and that is Jesse Spano addicted to caffeine pills.
I purposely did not watch it beforehand. I haven’t seen that full episode in God knows how many years, 20, 25. I’ve seen the clips. From the episode, the main clip, the memes of Jesse saying, I’m so excited, I’m so scared. And I didn’t know what else was in that episode. I thought it was the girls singing group singing, you know, I’m so excited.
And Zach says, I’m gonna get you a record deal, because he heard them sing one song together in the max. It’s just really, it was a fun rewatch, let’s just say that. And anytime I do a say by the bell rewatch, there will be more of those for sure. Every time I do a say by the bell rewatch, it’ll just be comical.
Because it was so bad yet you could not turn away. There were just so many cringeworthy moments in that episode and so many things that were said and done on that episode that you probably couldn’t even get away with in 2025. And not only did they get away with it in the early nineties, it was airing on Saturday mornings.
That’s probably why they didn’t have Jesse explore, you know, actual real drugs, marijuana, Coke. No, they had her doing caffeine pills. ’cause remember that show aired on Saturday morning and it was just so popular back then. I mean, early nineties. That’s when I was in high school, so it was right up my alley.
Some of you probably never watched it growing up, or you’ve seen the clips of it, but never went back to watch it. It’s just such, it, it was, it was a guilty pleasure for anybody in that era. There’s no doubt about it. We didn’t watch it because we really wanted to learn something. They were high school kids.
We were high school kids or kids right before high school, and we just thought they were cool. Just like most of the things that we saw on television, kind of the way. You know, teenagers and high schoolers watch shows now, and they obsess over certain actors and actresses. It’s no different than we felt back then.
We just didn’t have access to them, so they were put on more of a pedestal because we couldn’t see anything else. They were doing pretty much in their life outside of what they put on film that we watched on Saturday mornings. Yeah, you could see pictures of them out in magazines if you got Teen Beat and BOP and all those.
But those were still photos and it was just, okay. They went out, okay, we got pictures of them. Now obviously everybody has access to everybody, and if you’re an actor or an actress, especially a younger one, you are monetizing stuff online. Just so much more access to these people. So we. Put them on much more of a pedestal when we were younger because we could just only go off what we saw on TV or in the movies And Saved By the Bell was one of those shows.
We’re gonna do more rees of it in the future. We’re done doing Rees for the rest of this week, obviously with the holiday season. So the next rewatch we’ll be next week. I’ll announce that next week, but if you want to go check it out. Obviously it’s on my Patreon, Patreon subscribers. I get exclusives to all those because I can’t post them anywhere else due to copyright issues.
