So the tragedy surrounding Mickey Lee’s death on Christmas night has really shook the big brother world.
I saw this in like four or five different locations on social media yesterday, and this is from the live feeds. This was not shown on the CBS on any of the episodes during the season, but I don’t know at what point. It looks like
July 24th, so fairly early in the season, right? A fan account Posted this on July 24th. And it was, it says Ashley and Mickey talk about Ava’s palm reading during their HOH sleepover. So I don’t think Ashley won an early HOH, right? So this must have been Mickey or Ava’s, whatever there are. Three people in the room, in the video, you can see Ashley.
You can see Morgan, you can hear Mickey’s voice. And in the video clip, they do pan to her a couple times, and then there’s a guy in the bed. I can’t tell if that’s, I think it’s Jimmy. Because he has short hair and that’s not anybody else. It’s definitely not Vince. So it’s Ashley and Mickey talking about Ava’s Palmer because remember, Ava was a palm reader and she is a palm reader.
Like that’s her thing. So Ashley and Mickey are talking about when Ava read their palms earlier in the day and what she told them, and now knowing what happened to Mickey, this is fucking eerie. Listen to this.
We have kids or no? She said she didn’t know. Oh. Which I was like, girl, I’m fertile from what I know.
Right. But then she also said that she was confused about the lunch. Yeah. She said she was confused about the lunch. She was like, she didn’t know for sure and she freaked out. She was like, gimme your. No. Ava was like, she’s like, she was like, she’s like, this is the lifeline. And she’s like, oh, yours is kind of short.
Yeah. She said, that’s her. And I was like, wait, am I gonna die? She’s like, wait, um, maybe that’s not the right line. I, she goes, she from Mickey. She goes, I’m like, Ava, do you know what you, the lifeline is short. She’s like, I think I forgot. Mickey’s. Like, does that mean I’m gonna die early? She’s like, um, you know, she’s out there reading our poem and doesn’t even, lemme do Ashley.
Lemme do Ashley’s. And then she reads mine. And she’s like, Ooh, okay, I see a long lifeline for you. I see, okay, you’re gonna have the same amount of money for, I said forever. And then she, then she was admitted that she didn’t know between the kid lying and the lifeline. I’m like, Abel, you’re not good at this all.
Ava, stick to your day job. Right? Stick to your day job for sure. My,
I mean, look. I’m not somebody, you know me if you’ve listened to this podcast long enough, I’m not a guy that’s into crystal readings and horoscopes and tarot cards and stuff like that, palm reading, but you literally had, five months ago, Ava read Mickey’s Palm and told her that her lifeline was short.
Like that is absolutely freaking me out now. I’m not saying I totally believe everything about palm reading. ’cause even they were making fun of her. Like, Ava, do you even know which line is which, between the lifeline and the kids line on your palm. But Ava tells Mickey back in July, your lifeline is short.
And Mickey’s just kinda laughing it off. Like why wouldn’t you laugh it off? You know what happened to Mickey was sudden. It wasn’t like. She had a terminal illness and we knew it was coming, but holy crap, few people have posted that. And that is just, that’s absolutely scary. Like, again, I’m not sold on palm reading because of that.
But looking back on that now that is, I, I, I don’t even know what, I don’t know what to make of that, honestly, other than hearing them talk about it. And Ava literally telling Mickey, you have a short lifeline on your palm. Whoa. And finally saw this on Twitter, and it was just, it’s, it’s pretty obvious, like we knew this stuff, but to see it written out is, again, you’re just looking back and you’re like, wow.
Look at how far we have come. And this tweet said things that didn’t exist on Christmas. 25 years ago. It’s an alphabetical order and I’m just gonna zip through these ’cause it looks like there’s about 25 or 30 on here. Airbnb, AirPods, Amazon Prime, Android App Store, Bitcoin Chrome, Facebook, Gmail, Google Maps, Instagram, iPad, iPhone, Netflix, streaming, Reddit, snap, SpaceX, Spotify, Tesla, TikTok, Uber, WhatsApp, X, Xbox, YouTube, and Zoom.
Obviously there’s plenty of other things that didn’t exist 25 years ago. That do exist now, but I mean, well, they say XI was gonna say Twitter, but they cover, it’s basically a lot of this stuff in Airbnb isn’t social media really, but 25 years ago we had none of that. None of it. And now you’re thinking like, well, in 2050, what are we gonna look back on?
And someone’s gonna read and tweet out, well, whatever the social media platform, the popular one in 2050 will be. They’re gonna say things that didn’t exist on Christmas 25 years ago in the year 2025, and we’re gonna have a list and we’re just gonna be like, wow. But yeah, no, iPhones 25 years ago, we were basically just at the beginning of the internet in the year 2000.
I mean, I got my first email address, I remember. My junior year of college, which was nine excuse me, 95 and 96. I remember we all had to go to remember. It was every, remember everybody if you’re old enough, when you got your first email address at your school, it was like at pop dot whatever your school initials were.edu.
I remember the only way I could check my email was to go into the computer lab. Because nobody had computers in their, in their dorm rooms back then. And if you did, you really didn’t have your own email address. And I would just, every day in between classes, I’d be like, oh, did somebody message me on that email thing?
Just so weird to look at now. And now it’s just, now people get upset if their email takes five seconds to download versus 0.1 second to download. It’s just for those that aren’t 50 years old like myself or even in their forties. If you’re listening to this right now and you’re 25 years old, just know that people like myself and people in their forties and fifties lived a completely different life than you.
Our lives were nothing like what you are experiencing right now. You had to call somebody up on the telephone to talk to them. Usually their parents picked up because every house had a landline. There was no texting, there were no selfies. You know what our selfies were back in the day? School photos. You would take a class picture, then you would take a solo picture, and then when the pictures were developed, everybody would get them on the same day and however many of your parents ordered, you would cut them out, these little three by five photos of yourself.
Hand them to somebody and say, here’s a picture of me. You would just hand pictures of yourself to other people in your class as opposed to now you just take your phone out and be like, Hey, there’s a picture of me. Here I am. You had to physically give someone a picture of yourself back in the day. I could go on and on about this stuff, but those are, that are in your forties and fifties.
You know exactly what I’m talking about. We just lived in different times, like it is my niece and nephew. You know, my niece, Olivia, 21 years old, my nephew Nicholas 18, they can’t wrap their head around how I grew up and how their mother grew up. My sister is four years older than me and they just don’t understand how we grew up without electronics, without texting, without email.
They’re like, what did you do? We went outside and played with kids. We’d go to the park, we’d ride our bikes, and they’re like, what? Yeah. Totally different world. Anyway, thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it. Follow me in Apple podcast. Also, rate and review, but you gotta hit play. It’s the only way it counts is to download the Sports Daily coming up in an hour from now, so go check that out.
Again, thank you all for listening. I appreciate it, and we’ll talk to you tomorrow.
