Daily Roundup 12/31 – Mickey from Big Brother Story from Yesterday, Tomorrow’s Weekly Podcast, & a Look Ahead to Friday’s Patreon Re-Watch of “Grease 2”

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Wednesday. It is New Year’s Eve, the last day of 2025. Holy shit. 2026 is gonna be here in less than 24 hours. Anyway, really short show for you today. Not a lot to go over.

I want to talk one thing about Mickey and the audio clip from yesterday. I’m gonna tell you what’s coming up on the weekly podcast tomorrow, and then a little bit more on the Patreon, the live rewatch of Grease two this Friday night. We will get to all of that momentarily. So I saw something online yesterday.

It wasn’t from anybody in the Big Brother family, but it was somebody that basically said, all of you who are reposting the AVA clip from this summer just know that there is a family grieving. They haven’t even buried their daughter yet. And you know what I thought about it? And I have not re retweeted that clip.

I have not put it on Instagram, but I did use it in the podcast yesterday. And it’s funny ’cause when I was doing it yesterday, I was, I, I thought to myself, is this right to be sharing this look, it’s, it’s not like it was anything private. It is completely public thing. It’s not like anybody is mocking Mickey’s death.

We’re just pointing out the eerie of it. But I can see where they’re coming from, so you’ll never hear me bring that clip up again. I’ll never play it again, and I don’t wanna really ever talk about it much again. Probably should have put a little more thought into that. I, I didn’t, I, it obviously did not come with malicious intentions whatsoever.

I just had never even remembered that cliff. Even when it. Came out this summer. ’cause I don’t follow the live feeds. I see clips here and there, but I don’t remember that one. Nor would anybody think to think at that time back in July, oh my gosh, this is gonna come true in five months. Clearly we didn’t think that for a second.

But seeing the clip now, yeah, it’s eerie. If somebody out there is constantly reposting it. Yeah, probably not something if you’re a member of Mickey’s family or a good friend of hers. You want to see that, you know, because you literally had someone telling her your lifeline is short. So anyway, if anybody was offended by that yesterday, by me posting that audio clip, I apologize.

I probably shouldn’t have done it. I probably should have just relayed the story to you. I didn’t read to. I don’t think you needed to hear it. Because it was, you know, Mickey’s voice and all that, but so I apologize for that. Tomorrow on the weekly podcast, we are talking to Kate. Casey who hasn’t been on.

She usually comes on like every three or four months, but unless I’m missing something, according to my notes, she hasn’t been on in almost. 40 episodes, but I could be, I might have skipped over one. ’cause it seems like she’s been on way sooner than that. I, I, I could be wrong though. But she comes on tomorrow and we have a few things that we’re talking about.

There is a docuseries coming out that I had no idea about, called The Cult of the Real Housewife. It’s a three-part docuseries on TLC. It comes out tomorrow on TLC actually, and all three parts are getting released on the same day. It’s not like they’re gonna give you one episode a week, and it’s about Mary Crosby from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

I don’t watch that show. So those that are familiar. You’ll hear Kate talk about it tomorrow. She says it’s really, really good. We also discuss a little bit of Taylor Swift’s documentary a little bit on Taylor. Frankie Paul, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives franchise. A little bit on the Diddy doc. Also some talk about NX.

Im because Allison Mack, the actress from Smallville who got herself. All caught up in the Nex VM cult and ended up going to prison for it for two years. She’s out now and doing a podcast and we discussed that a little bit as well. And then I talked to Kate about the Beast in me and all her fault. She hasn’t seen the beast in me, but she said she’s seen a few episodes of all her fault.

I can’t recommend those enough to you, and if my recommendation isn’t good enough, just know that for the Beast in me. Claire Danes is up for best actress in an anthology or miniseries. Matthew Reese is up for best actor in an anthology or miniseries, and for all her fault, I believe, what’s her name?

Sarah Snook, the woman from Succession. I don’t watch succession, but I know that she’s in, that She, I believe, is up for best actress as well in an anthology or mini series. So very, very good acting. All her fault. I will give you a, not a warning, but if you are a parent of a young child, just know going in it maybe could be a little triggering, especially if you have a young kid who you send to daycare or you let him have play dates with his children.

Just know, I mean, I’m, I’m not gonna give anything away here. I’m not gonna give a a spoiler, but the plot of all her fault is a woman goes to pick up her kid after a play date with one of the children in his class and they can’t find him. And then for eight episodes, we’re wondering, and she’s wondering, and the her family and her, her and her husband are wondering what happened to their kid.

Then slowly but surely, you start peeling back layers and it goes so much deeper than wait, where is her kid? So I just wanna give you that heads up, but it’s really, really good. It gets totally bonkers at the last few episodes for sure. Because once you see it play out, you don’t, you, you think back and you’re like, well, I never would’ve guessed that.

It’s just really, I just, I think it’s really good, even though I couldn’t have guessed it, and most people probably couldn’t have guessed it because they don’t give you enough clues while it’s going on to say, oh, now after we reveal everything, you can go back and look, oh yeah, that part. No, not really. As it reveals itself of what happened, you’re like, wow, this is a very tangled web of stories here.

A lot of people, you’re like, wait, is that person good? Is that person bad? Is that person good? Is that person bad? It’s just, it’s really good.
