And finally, I just wanna talk about this Patreon. On Friday night, we are going to do a live rewatch of Greece two, and it’s going to be at 8:00 PM Eastern, seven Central, six Mountain, and five Pacific.
And as I told you yesterday. I did not realize this until I did the research. I have the Grease two soundtrack in my Apple Music. I listen to it a lot and for whatever reason, I don’t know what it is, but on my flights to Vegas, not going home from Vegas, but on my flights to Vegas, I will always listen to the Grease two soundtrack from beginning to end.
I don’t know why it’s just a thing with me, but it’s 12 songs long. Remember when I told you yesterday in the podcast, Greece’s soundtrack, the original Grease has 24 songs in it. And you’re like, how is that even possible? And then I pull it up, I’m looking at it on Wikipedia now, grease by Barry Gibb Summer Nights, which is literally like the first song after the opening song to start the movie.
Summer Nights is the first song. John Travolta and Olivia Newton John Sing and then Hopelessly devoted to you. You’re the one that I want. I mean, these are classics, Sandy. We know that one, Sandy can’t just see. I am in Missouri now. I’m starting to sing like John Travolta or talk like him. That whole movie, it’s like his.
Accent or whatever he was doing is so over exaggerated. Sandy seems like he talks like that the whole movie, but I mean, you just go over some of these songs like you’ve seen Grease, you know Grease Beauty School Dropout. Look at me. I’m Sandra d. Grease Lightning Alone in a Drive-in Movie Blue Moon. Now you gotta remember in the dance-off scene, they play six songs.
So over like a 15 or 20 minute stretch of the movie, they cram six songs in because each song is only like two minutes long. Blue moon, rock and roll is here to stay. Those magic changes. Hound dog, born to hand, jive and tears on my pillow. All classic songs by Shaana. Then you’ve got Mooning Freddie, my Love Rock and Roll Party Queen.
There are worst things I could do. We go together. Love is a many splendid thing. And then Greece, I just read you all 24 songs in the movie, like it’s crazy. Is there any dialogue in this movie? I mean, there’s plenty of dialogue, but I swear I don’t think someone might have to take, maybe I have Bachelor Day do this since she has a computer system that could probably figure this out.
I am wondering what’s the longest stretch in the original movie Grease, where there’s just talking and no music? I can’t imagine more than five minutes goes by in that movie without some song being sung. That’d be my guess. A Grease two, like I said, only 12 songs and all of ’em outside of charades is probably, which is the worst song.
But it tells the story, like I get why they put it in there. But 11 of those 12 songs are all just bangers. Back to school again. Cool Rider. Score tonight, girl for our seasons. Do it for our country. Who’s that guy? Prowling, reproduction. Turn back the hands of time. Rocka hula luau And we’ll be together. I could probably recite every word to every one of those songs right now.
I’ll try not to sing when we do the live rewatch on Friday night, but I can’t guarantee anything because there are so many good. So I can’t wait to rewatch this movie. I probably see this movie, I’ll watch it usually three to five times a year ’cause it’s just such an easy watch. So I hope you’ll join me Friday night on my Patreon channel, patreon.com/reality.
