Daily Roundup 1/23 – Mel & Peg Aren’t Done Talking, Taylor Frankie Paul’s “Date,” Traitors Episode 6 Recap Today, & More Emails Coming in on My LOST Re-Watch

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality. Steve Podcast, I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Friday. Good show for you as we head into the weekend. I’ve got an update on Peg and Mel Taylor, Frankie Paul with Instagram Stories that have people questioning things when in reality it was nothing.

Well, it was something, but not what people thought. It was. Traders Live React Show coming today. It’s gonna be at a different time actually, to let you know. And I’ve got an update on Lost because. As was the case with Back to the Future, I’ve got people emailing me now about lost and let’s get started. So the first thing I wanna say is Peg and Mel, who we talked about in yesterday’s podcast, ’cause they were on, she’s all batch.

And if you listen to the interview with Courtney yesterday, episode number 4 79, you heard both of our reactions where we didn’t think either of them came across really well at all. It doesn’t make sense for Mel to say he doesn’t care what people think about him. And then says on Jackie and Stephanie’s, Stephanie and Jackie, she’s all batch podcast is saying, actually, I wrote some notes down of the things that you said about me.

It’s like this guy is kind of all over the map. He didn’t really give us anything in that interview. But anyway, pagan Mel went live yesterday, I believe, on Instagram. Might’ve been TikTok. They did a live and. Believe it or not, they thought the interview with Stephanie and Jackie went well, and they also are gonna be on almost famous podcasts, so clearly they’re not done talking about this.

And Peg said she’d be up for a round two for on. She’s all batch. I, I haven’t spoken to Stephanie about that, spoken to her about other things, but not. Hey, are you gonna put them on for a part two? But just know that the sentiment of, okay, I think these two just need to stop talking. Doesn’t look like it’s happening.

’cause it looks like they’re not done. My guess is they’re gonna say the same stuff on almost famous. I just don’t know what we’re accomplishing at this point. You know, my guess is when Peg goes on, almost famous, she’s going to say to tell Cindy to stop talking about their relationship. Cindy’s gonna say somebody’s lying.

It’s just, it’s never ending unless the producers or this franchise goes on bachelor nation.com and says, here is the video footage of what these two are arguing about. So and so is right, and so-and-so is wrong. Uh, which is never gonna happen, by the way. They’re not gonna release footage to prove somebody is right or wrong in this franchise.

They would’ve done that a hundred times over based on past arguments people have had about things that were said and done on this show. Hell, we got it. In the last season of grant season, how many times were those women debating with each other? Who said what and who did what? Carolina, Zoe.

Dina, there was always these fights going on of who said what, and you did this and you did that. It’s like if the show wanted to actually resolve these fights, they would release footage, but they’re never going to. So Peg and Cindy just keep saying this happened. No, it didn’t. Yes it did. No it didn’t. All right.

We’re getting nowhere. But just know Pagan Mel aren’t done making the media tour. So the other day, Taylor, Frankie Paul on her Instagram story, posted a screenshot of a text message that she, a text exchange that she had with McKayla, who’s one of the other secret lives, and McKayla wrote, hi, checking in, and Taylor wrote back, hi, busy being toxic.

You know me. Everyone’s getting sick. So I’m hoping our house can avoid it. Nobody wants a snotty first date. Ha. And she wrote, oh my God, stop. Everyone I know has the flu. Honestly, it was nice excuse to dodge everyone’s call sending you my secret weapon. If you guys get hit, Taylor responds. You’re more helpful than you know.

Who will it work for? The headache the Internet’s giving me? Or will it work for the headache The Internet’s giving me LOL. So people took that as, oh my God, she’s going on a date and she’s sick, and oh, if she’s on a date, that means she didn’t choose anybody on the bachelorette. Well that took all of, well, if you watched the next slide, which I didn’t, her next Instagram story was an ad about basically being sick.

And yesterday morning at 9:58 AM I get an email and the subject reads, Taylor, Frankie Paul and Michaela Matthews revealed the disheveled truths of modern parroting with genea. Like, okay, I get this stuff all the time, not about Secret Lives of moron wives, but stuff that PR companies email me. I said, hi, Steve.

Hope this finds you well. After the buzz around the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season four trailer, I wanted to share a timely offscreen moment. Fans don’t get to see so excited to share the secret weapon carrying McKayla Matthews and Taylor, Frankie Paul through this particularly difficult flu season.

In this behind the scenes peak, inside their text conversations, Mikayla shares the way her family beats the flu, helping castmate Taylor avoid being a quote snotty date. There are the stars of the hit show, the Hulu show, secret Lives of Mormon Wives. We got an inside look into their mom chats, yada, yada, yada.

The exchange is already sparking conversation on TikTok, where fans are reacting to the candid mom to mom advice and the flu season of realities. The thing, getting them through Genea. Genea is the first ever, the first ever clean medicine brand with the same effective, active ingredients found in leading over the counter medicines, but with zero artificial additives, artificial preservatives, dyes, and common allergen, yada.

Got it. So if you did see that text exchange between Taylor and Mikayla the other day, if you maybe thought it was an ad or you didn’t understand it, or maybe you thought Taylor was going on a date and that’s why she posted that to It was an ad. As evidenced by a PR company telling me about it the next day.

And, uh, and the, at the end of the email they say, please let us know if this is something you were able to share with readers. Well, I guess I just did anybody ever tried Genea? I have no idea. They’re, they’re not an advertiser on my page. My page, my gosh, am I talking about my page? My podcast? They’re not an advertiser on my podcast.

This has nothing to do with me promoting some sort of medicine. I’m just reading the email that was sent to me yesterday, and it’s Taylor, Frankie Paul related, and I know that there are people out there that thought what Taylor posted when she posted that screenshot conversation with McKayla. People took it a certain way, and I saw the text.

I didn’t think much of it. I thought that she was just using it as a form of expression. And then I didn’t see the very next Instagram story, which was her holding up Genea, I believe. And then a day later I get this, I’m like, oh, okay. Yeah. I mean, first off, Taylor’s, Frankie Paul is not stupid enough. She’s not stupid at all.

To just start talking about her dating life on her Instagram story when she knows she’s on her contract for a show that starts, you know, two, two months from yesterday. So just wanted to inform anybody that may have seen that and didn’t really understand it. Yeah, it was an ad for Genea, so if you want to take the same medicine that Secret Lives of Mormon wives, take.
