Claire and Emma from the Love to See It podcast had Jessica on their podcast, I guess yesterday. And the clip is up on their Instagram account. And what’s interesting is obviously we’ve been talking about Chris a lot and just what an ultimate DBA this guy has been. You heard my interview with Marta and you can realize that yeah, this guy, the way he treated Marta is basically the same way he treated Jessica.
He clearly is a guy that thinks very highly of himself and doesn’t know how to talk to women. Well. As bad as we thought he was on the show, from what they have shown us, Jessica says, oh, you didn’t even see the half of it. ’cause Jessica basically said there were people in the women’s quarters who were sick of me talking about politics because I needed to make sure who, whoever I chose on the other side of that wall was aligned with me politically.
That’s a very big deal in my life, which seems to be a case right now in America. You wanna be aligned politically with somebody that you’re with, why wouldn’t you wanna be? And she said, all the women knew that about me. And she said, I brought it up numerous times in the pods. And nobody including Chris, clearly Chris, ’cause that’s the guy she ended up getting engaged to.
At no point pointed out that he didn’t agree with her politically. Yet when they got outta the pod, she realized he didn’t even have an Instagram. So when she went to check his Instagram, he didn’t have one, so she couldn’t see. What is he posted about? What is he passionate about? What accounts does he follow?
By the way, Jessica is very progressive and she is a Democrat and she’s liberal. So clearly, if you don’t get a chance to look at somebody’s Instagram before. Getting engaged to them. Like is the case on this show? You’re gonna wanna look them up the second you get your phone back just to see, well, she basically said Chris lied to her.
’cause at no point, ’cause people are now saying like, how did they not talk about this stuff? Because Chris said in one of his interviews as well, like, oh yeah, I didn’t like we weren’t aligned politically. And people were like, how did they not talk about this? Oh, they did. Jessica said, we talked about it all the time.
And not one time did he ever bring up, he had an issue with where I stood. And she goes, we get out of the pods and I realize we’re not aligned politically on anything. He basically just used me and went along with it so he can get engaged and get airtime and she goes, that doesn’t fly for me, nor should it.
So yeah, go listen to her full interview, but she, you could tell, is just fed up with Chris. Just an absolute liar. And again, are any of us surprised? You heard the interview with Marta, you heard the way he speaks to women. Nobody be, should be surprised, but for the people that are claiming, how do these couples not talk about important things in the pods?
Trust me, they do, but with only four and a half episodes in the pods this season and you had seven engaged couples, I, the love is blind editors can only show so much. They’re not gonna dive into every serious conversation that every couple had. They just can’t. They don’t have the time. But Jessica’s like, yeah, Chris absolutely lied to me and used me because if he would’ve said at any point in the pods there where he leaned politically, which isn’t where Jessica leans, there’s no way she would’ve gotten engaged to him.
But here they were, because Chris lied. And it doesn’t mean two people that aren’t aligned politically can’t be together. There are couples out there, but in this political climate that we’re in, it does get obviously a little more tense. And if you’ve seen Jessica’s Instagram and you’ve seen her social media, she is very, very outspoken about where she stands politically, which is fine, but someone like that needs someone that.
Is on her side as well. And Chris never made it seem like he wasn’t on her side. And then they get out and she’s like, he’s a, not even the person that he presented himself to be. And then finally, I’m sure you’ve seen this circulating over the weekend, a video of Jim Carrey at the Caesar Awards in, I believe France and.
There were so many people that were like, that’s not Jim Carrey. There’s no way. How is that Jim Carrey? It’s like peoples get older. People’s faces change. People’s bodies change, and he accepted the award five days ago. On February 27th and the videos of him were circulating and so many people were questioning, is that a fake?
Is this ai? Like this is what we’ve come to in this country. Jim Carey, a very, very well known actor, was pretty much the biggest box, office star in the mid nineties. People here at 64 years old now are questioning whether or not somebody that they saw on the red carpet that was there as Jim Carrey with his family are questioning whether or not it was real.
That’s where we’ve come to with ai and it took four days, but after all this speculation, so I mean, there was. Celebrities and content creators doing clickbait articles about this stuff, saying not Jim Carrey on the red carpet ai. Somebody tried to take credit for the fact that they created a Jim Mary Jim Carrey mask, and it was them finally yesterday.
His reps and the people at the Caesar Awards come out and said, no, it was him. We invited him. He was there. His appearance has been planned since this summer. He came with his partner, his daughter, his grandson, and 12 close friends and family members. His longtime publicist was with him as well. His old friend, Michael Gundry was with him and they were delighted to see each other again.
Like he’s 64 years old. Do you expect him to look like how he did Nate Ventura, fire Marshal Bill, like, I mean, when I saw the clip, I’m just like, he just looks. A little bit bigger, looks a little bit thicker and fuller in the face. Looked like Jim Carrey to me. I can’t believe how many people were just like, that’s not him.
No way. Conspiracy theory, he’s dead. That’s his body. Double what? Some people are just absolutely crazy. I can’t believe they had to release a statement. First off. I don’t know why it took them four days to release a statement. Why doesn’t they just say when this was circulating that day? It’s very easy to say, yes.
This was Jim Carrey. Like, did people really think that a fake Jim Carrey showed up at an award show with family and friends and wouldn’t get noticed if it wasn’t him? His family and friends just went along with this just. Oh gosh. I just pulled my hair out at some things that are going on right now.
