Alright, by the time you’re listening to this, the wedding episode for Love Is Blind, has already posted. Obviously I have not watched it because I’m recording this Tuesday night. It doesn’t come out until 3:00 AM this morning and Eastern time, so I’m already in bed.
It’s only probably an hour and 15 minutes, so I’ll watch it probably short after you’re listening to this, and then I’ll be discussing it on my YouTube channel tomorrow. You have the spoilers of who gets married and who doesn’t and whatnot. So that’s already out there. Yesterday on my social media channels, I put out there what I heard about the reunion, which filmed a couple weeks ago, and.
Let’s go over it. This isn’t everything. I don’t go over every single couple. I was just, obviously people just start sending me stuff and I’m able to confirm something. So these are the things that I was able to confirm. Vic and Christine still married to this day and. TurboTax, I guess, is a sponsor for this show.
They decided that they were gonna sponsor a honeymoon for Vic and Christine because they got the short end of the stick this season where they basically just went down the street to Malibu and had to do their honeymoon while everyone else got to go to Cabo. Yes, I have heard that Chris was at, well, he definitely was at the reunion and he definitely took some from Jessica.
Again, I can’t sit here and quote things because I have no idea what’s gonna be shown and what isn’t. But he did not get off scot free. I was actually told he handled himself quite well, was what I was told. That was the two word description I was given. But when I dug any further than that, that’s all I got.
He handled himself quite well, but to me, for Chris to handle himself quite well on the reunion show means he owns everything that he did and he doesn’t make excuses and he apologizes profusely and something tells me he didn’t do that. It doesn’t seem like he’s capable of doing that, knowing how he’s interacted with Xs in the past.
But we will find out next week now on the for, for this show. Don’t, basically on the reunion show, doesn’t that air next Wednesday night, but they do it at 9:00 PM Eastern time. They don’t release him in the morning. So yeah, that one will, I’ll, I, I won’t be able to talk about that until Thursday’s podcast next week.
What else? At the reunion? Mm. Yeah. Vic and Christine. Chris, oh, so this wasn’t brought up at the reunion, I don’t think, but because of the mixer. And remember when Alex was with Ashley and Priyanka was at the table, and if you remember back to the pod episodes, late in the process, Priyanka Priyanka was still in the pods.
They were just like, wait a second. There are women that are gone and Priyanka ISS in the pods, yet we haven’t seen her. In. She was in the women’s quarters, but she wasn’t shown in the pods at all. I was like, that clearly meant that she had a connection with somebody that wasn’t being shown. And then when we saw at the mixer, Alex, talking about the fact that he knew Priyanka from Chicago, people seemed to insinuate, oh, he’s hooked up with her, or that’s who Priyanka s connection was not the case.
Alex and Priyanka definitely did know of each other, and I’m sure when he heard her name in the pods and they started talking about more things he has said. I basically told, I didn’t tell anybody, but I basically put her at the bottom of my list so we wouldn’t talk anymore. ’cause I wanted her to have her own experience and me to have mine, which was nice of him ’cause he didn’t get production involved.
’cause if he tells production they might take both of them outta the pods. He just said no. Because early on when people meet in the pods, you have to rank your people. And if you have someone at the bottom of your list, they’re just not gonna make you talk to them the next day. And Alex just said, I put Priyanka at the bottom of my list.
I knew who she was. I knew of her. So, but I don’t wanna ruin her experience and I don’t wanna ruin mine. So I’ll just put her at the bottom of my list and we’ll move on. No need to bring it up and that’s why he brought it up now. But, so there was nothing with Priyanka and Alex. Some people seem to think there was because of the things being said at that mixer.
What I was able to find out, and like I said, I don’t even know if this is covered at the reunion, but Priyanka connection in the pods was with a guy named Parker, who also got no airtime on that show, but he was in the men’s quarters. He’s in the cast list. But Priyanka and Parker were very close, but they broke up the day before engagement day.
Devonte, obviously, as we know, you will see. When today’s episode airs that him and Brittany do not get married, but Devonta has made the rounds and made news, especially on the Reality Receipts podcast, where his ex-girlfriend, a girl that dated him from July of December of last year. Has come out and did an interview with Ricky and Ashley go listen to it because she reveals a lot of things about Devonta that I guess we can all sit here and say None of us are the least bit surprised based on the way he’s acted on the show.
Anyway, Devonta was also engaged back, I believe, in 2023 or 2024, and then he wasn’t engaged to that person and then. Oh crap. I put this in the spoilers that he was engaged to Brittany then wasn’t, what am I doing? Of course he didn’t get engaged to, oh wait, yeah, sorry. He got engaged to Brittany, but he obviously didn’t marry her, but they were engaged and then they weren’t because obviously they broke up and then his ex-girlfriend’s been on a podcast.
You can go listen to her story at the reunion, you’ll hear that Devonte tells us that he’s engaged now to somebody else, not related to the show. Has a child on the way. Good luck to that woman. And finally, I guess the biggest thing that’s gonna come out of the reunion is that Connor and Bree have announced that they are dating.
So I don’t know when they decided to pick back up after they ended their engagement, as we saw in last week’s episode. But if you watched my interview last week with bits of banter with Antoinette. I was telling Antoinette in that I was like, look, I know you can’t put a ton and can’t put a hundred percent into what somebody posts on social media, but as far as I know, the only person from this season’s cast that was posting on back-to-back weeks carousels of pictures with her, and the person that she was engaged to was Bree.
Two weeks ago she posted a carousel of pictures of her and Connor last week she posted a carousel of pictures of her and Connor saying behind the scenes, you know, drop number two. And this was after an episode that aired of them breaking up. And you heard me when I was talking to Antoinette and I was like, first off, something is definitely not, nothing wrong with it, but it’s definitely having my ears perk up because.
She wouldn’t do this for just somebody that she wants to be friends with. I, I just didn’t see it that way. I had a sense, and I hadn’t even heard up to that point when I was talking to Antoinette last week, I had not heard anything about Bree and Connor from the reunion show. I heard about the reunion show this past weekend, and I was just like, something tells me that they are seeing each other and they got back together because she has been very complimentary of him online.
No other couple is doing this. And I think it’s almost like a message out there because Brie has been taking so much heat online. And then the episode where she basically ends it with him and a lot of people are scratching their head like, wait, was this a breakup or not? Or Why did she break up with him?
This guy will do anything for her. I think this was her way of saying, guys, just hold out for a couple more weeks. Trust me. And the other thing is, when I saw that episode, you heard me say to Antoinette. I said, Antoinette, nothing about this breakup is Connor. I just don’t see us with a future whatsoever.
I’m just ending it now. Good luck with the rest of your life. To me, everything Brie said in that breakup conversation was, yeah, she was very direct and said, if you ask me what I’m gonna say at the altar right now, my answer would be no. But at no point during that conversation did she say it would be no forever.
And that she just wasn’t into him and she could never see them working. That whole breakup just screamed to me that this woman just needed more time. It seems like when they got back to Ohio, she just had a lot on her plate. She couldn’t wedding plan, and she just needed more time. Now, this show wants you to make a definitive decision because I’m guessing every couple on this show would like more time to make a decision on whether or not I wanna marry somebody within a span of six weeks.
So they kind of. Go against that. They don’t like that to happen, but I gotta believe in certain situations they will allow it to happen. So, looks like I kind of nailed it last week. I knew that there was something up between them that yes, they were clearly on good terms because you’re not posting, you know, Jessica’s not posting, Hey everybody, here’s a carousel of pictures of behind the scenes of me and Chris.
No, but for Bri to do that on back to back weeks, I, I knew something was up. Then apparently they are currently dating, which good for them because that breakup seemed to me that Brie just needed more time. She was overwhelmed for whatever reason. She was overwhelmed when they got back to Ohio and it just planning a wedding just wasn’t in the cards for her.
She said she had a meltdown after she tried on her dress, which was not shown in the episode, and she’s just like, I just wasn’t read. I, I, you know, I wasn’t ready at that time and. I guess we’re gonna see, and we’ll, we’ll get more details about how far, how long after the breakup did they reconnect? Have they been dating ever since?
What are their plans for the future? Has one of them moved in? Whatever the case. But yeah, Bree and Connor are dating and finally, you gonna have to bear with me here. Okay? It’s gonna be a little bit of math. But you’ll know where I’m going with this. So episode four of Paradise on Hulu aired on Monday.
If you haven’t watched the episode, and you don’t wanna know, this isn’t a major spoiler, it’s not a storyline. Spoiler. It’s more of a plot. It is a plot line spoiler, but it doesn’t spoil anything major because if you’ve watched the first three episodes, you kind of already know the main thing. And that is that the reason Xavier left the bunker was because he.
Was played that audio by Sinatra, that his wife was still alive outside the bunker and there was life outside the bunker. Even though everyone in the bunker has been led to believe there’s no life outside of the bunker. So the reason episode epi season one ended the way it did was Xavier getting on a plane and saying, I’m gonna go find my wife.
Okay, well he crashed lands in Memphis and his goal is I gotta go find my wife. She’s in Atlanta, I’m gonna go find my wife. Well, in episode four. He starts a trek to go get his wife walking. I had to Google, how far is it from Memphis to Atlanta? This isn’t a hop, skip, and a jump. It’s 400 miles. Okay, now I understand this is a TV show.
I get it. I understand there’s a TV show that’s based in a lot of fiction, like this can’t happen. I don’t think it can happen. I don’t think there’s gonna be an underground city in my lifetime. Who knows? Maybe in the year 5,000 there’ll be an underground city. But in Monday’s episode, Xavier decides to walk from Memphis to Atlanta to find his wife, and I’m like.
Wait a second. You’re walking. I understand. This is a post apocalyptic world outside of the bunker. You can’t just get on a plane. You can’t get in a cab and say, Hey, an Uber, hey, take me to Atlanta. I understand he had no other options, but I’m saying walking. Just gonna walk from Memphis to Atlanta. Let’s realistically look at it.
Okay? I’m gonna use my own walking as an example when I go on my walks at night. It takes me about 45 minutes to go two and a half miles. So if it takes me 45 minutes to go two and a half miles, that means it takes me an hour and a half to go five miles roughly. So let’s use my walking pace as Xavier’s walking pace.
So that means he goes five miles in an hour and a half and it’s 400 miles from Memphis to Atlanta. So if he goes five miles in an hour and a half, that means he goes. 10 miles in three hours, right? Five miles, hour and a half. Double the miles. 10 miles, double the time. One and a half times two is three. So it takes him three hours to go 10 miles.
Alright? Let’s just say he walks nine hours a day in this trek from Memphis to Atlanta. You know, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Oh, wait, that’s 11 hours, sorry. 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM That’s nine hours a day. So if it goes, if you can walk 10 miles in three hours, that means in nine hours, three times that you multiply 10 by three and you get 30 miles.
So he is basically walking 30 miles a day. So now we’re at 30 miles a day. If he walks nine hours a day, you also gotta remember, you gotta stop for food. You gotta stop to go sleep somewhere. I, I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt that this guy has the strength to walk nine hours a day, 30 miles a day, just nonstop to go find his wife.
Okay, so now it’s like, okay, he gets 30 miles a day. Well, it’s 400 miles from Memphis to Atlanta. 30 miles into 400 miles is about 13. 13 days. So if I walk nine hours every day covering 30 miles, how long would it take me to get 400 miles? It’s about 13 days. And I understand it’s a TV show. They’re not gonna show you him walking for 13 days.
But they also made it seem like he got to Atlanta because by the end of the episode he was in fucking Atlanta. And it wasn’t until, I don’t know, 10 or 15 minutes into the episode that he left. I just wish they would. I, this is just a total, just me being nitpicky, I just wish they would’ve maybe put something on the screen that said day seven of his walk, day 10 of his walk, something along those lines.
It’s just we’re accepting that this guy was able to walk for two weeks straight. Not to mention at one point during the walk, he had to add on. Let’s just say for those who haven’t seen the episode, a carry on
it. That part frustrated me, loved the episode. I thought, honestly, it might’ve been one of the best episodes the show has ever aired. It’s just that particular continuity thing kind of had me scratching my head like, okay guys, come on. But I get it. It’s a TV show. Don’t mind me. Anyway. Thank you all for listening.
