Daily Roundup 3/9 – A HUGE Week of Reality TV Coming Up, Ryan Gosling is an SNL Staple, the Best 4.5 Minutes You Need to Listen To, & The Roll is Appearing Again This Week

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality. Steve Podcast, I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. This is the start of an absolutely. Huge week in reality tv. We will go over everything that we got coming up this week. I’ll tell you about this week’s weekly podcast guest, although I don’t wanna jinx it, I’ll just give you a little hint about it.

I wanna talk about Saturday Night Live this past weekend. If you did not see or hear. James Vanderbeek’s daughter on his wife’s Instagram page yesterday. I would suggest taking time outta your day and listening, and unfortunately I have a Jelly Roll story. I know, I know. I can’t help it. If this guy would get off every show that I watched, then I would never talk about him.

But he’s making an appearance this upcoming Friday, and so help me, God. All right, let’s get started. This is an absolute huge week in television, especially for reality television. So today is March 9th. Do you realize what we have coming on Wednesday? Just Wednesday alone? We’ve got the Love is Blind finale reunion show.

Remember the reunion show? They don’t post until 9:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday night. So I will watch Survivor and then I will turn on the reunion show ’cause then we’ve got Survivor episode three on Wednesday night. One else comes out on Wednesday. Age of attraction. Yeah. I’m not a Nick and Natalie fan, you know this, but of course I’m gonna watch the show because I can’t imagine it’s any good and I’ll just keep saying it all season long.

I find it incredibly ironic that Nick is hosting a show about people with giant age gaps that are dating when that is his biggest insecurity when it comes to dating and when it comes to Natalie and his relationship with her. Do I need to repeat the story from a couple years ago? You want me to, okay, so Chicks in the office did one of those live events where they do a show live and people come out and see them.

And somebody that I know went to the show and after the show they did a q and a, so it wasn’t on their show. I don’t know if they broadcast their show or released it as a podcast. Anyway, they did a q and a. After the event and people were asking them questions, and one of the questions they were asked is, has any guest ever told you?

I, I’m paraphrasing here, but the question was along the lines of, has any guest ever told you before they went on, you’re not allowed to talk about this or you’re not allowed to ask this. And of all the guests that chicks in the office have had, and they’ve had a lot of good guests, the one answer they came up with on the spot right there was Nick Vial.

And they said to an audience that my friend heard and then relayed it back to me that Nick Vial specifically told them, do not bring up the age difference between Natalie and I. I mean, look, we’ve known this for years. It’s been obvious he kept her hidden for a year because he was dating her when she was 19.

Like it’s just kind of hilarious. Now he’s built a TV show around it when he’s so insecure about their age difference. Hilarious. So that’s three that come out on Wednesday. You got Survivor at eight. Eastern Love is Blind at nine Eastern and I’m assuming age of attraction. I don’t think they’re gonna re, they’re waiting to release it at night.

And I don’t know if this is a. On the first day it’s released, we’ll get one or two or three episodes and then it’s one episode a week. I don’t even know how they’re doing Age of Attraction. Hopefully it’s just one or two episodes ’cause I’ll be able to watch that during the day. And then at Night Watch Survivor and the Love Is Blind reunion show.

And then on Thursday of course we’ve got season four of Secret Lives of Mormon wives. And then Sunday. Right after the Oscars, they’ve got that special where all the bachelorettes, again, I’ll remind everybody of this, they filmed this all the bachelorettes meeting up with Taylor, Frankie Paul, literally in the middle of her season.

Right around the time she was about to film Hometown Dates, they filmed it. Yet they’re gonna pretend on the show Sunday night after the Oscars airs, they’re gonna pretend like these women are talking to Taylor, getting her ready for her season. No, they filmed it Midseason. I don’t even know why they’re trying to pretend that they didn’t, because.

If they were trying to pretend they would’ve told all these women do not post in real time, but all you gotta do is go back to all these women’s Instagram pages in the middle of November and their pictures are there all hanging out in their red pajamas. So yeah, Taylor, Frankie Paul’s season started filming October 26th.

Those posts from all those women were like November 20th. Yet when we see the show on Sunday after the Oscars. None of those women are gonna be like, Hey Taylor, you’re down to four men. Or, how’s the journey been so far? They’re all gonna pretend like they’re helping her as she goes into her season, which is just utterly ridiculous, but figured.

You oughta know that. But anyway, getting back to Secret Lives of Mormon wives coming out on Thursday. I am not someone that’s ever watched that show. I’ve never seen any episode in any of the first three seasons. And I will be watching season four. Now, I know that show that when it comes out on Thursday just dumps all the episodes outside of the reunion show.

So that whole season will be coming out on Thursday, and I will be watching that on my Patreon channel. That’ll be the only place I’m watching it all season long. And I’ll be doing a live watch of the episodes. I don’t know what day of the week I’ve gotta get that thing uploaded and into my computer. So we’ll see how long that takes.

But you know, maybe the first episode will be a watch on, you know, Monday of next week or maybe Tuesday. I don’t know. I haven’t decided when that’s going to be, however. That will be exclusive only to Patreon subscribers patreon.com/reality. Steve will be rewatching season four of Secret Lives of Mormon wives, and I’ll be watching those episodes for the first time when I watch them on my Patreon.

I’m not gonna watch ’em first and then rewatch ’em. You will get my initial reactions and you also gotta remember, I’m not coming to this show with any sort of clue really. About the pasts of all these people. This is just me watching it for the first time and giving my thoughts. The other thing that I gotta prepare you for is next Sunday when Taylor, Frankie Paul’s season starts.

I’m gonna go live on my YouTube channel after the show every Sunday night. So Sunday night, March 22nd, Taylor, Frankie Paul. Bachelorette season is from seven to nine central time, so eight to 10 Eastern time, and I’ll be going live at 10:00 PM Eastern time every Sunday night. Outside of, there will be a night in May that I won’t be able to because I’ll be, oh no, I’ll be home in time.

The two trips I’m taking in April and May, I’m actually getting home Sunday afternoon. So yeah, I’ll be doing, I’ll be going live on both of those all season long, so keep that in mind. But yeah, huge week of tv a lot of stuff all being crammed into Wednesday. So get ready. Wednesday is gonna be a big.
