Uh, I appreciate it. I’ll just repeat what I just said, uh, for those first two minutes. So I, I just wanted to come in and say I’m gonna, I am gonna be talking about spoilers right now. I dunno how anybody can want to know spoilers at this point, considering all this mess that has happened post-show, but. I am gonna be talking spoilers if you did not see my Instagram post from about 90 minutes ago.
Uh, I
put ’em out there and I’ve, I’ve got just so much stuff going on. I’m getting a lot of texts and emails and all this shit. So, um, anyway, um, where was I? Oh, so spoilers. From basically Las Vegas on, which is episode six on, there were nine guys in Las Vegas. Three uh, went home in Las Vegas. Then you’re down to the final six that went to Miami and then two guys got eliminated in Miami.
They go to hometowns. Four guys get hometowns, three guys get overnight dates. That was in Salt Lake City. But you knew that at the time. ’cause I posted, at the time it was Lou. It was Shane. It was Doug. Lou got eliminated after hometowns in Salt Lake City. They fly to St. Lucia for the finale and it’s Doug and Shane, and then she gets engaged to Doug.
St. Lucia, I think the final Rose ceremony date was around December 19th or December 20th, if I’m not mistaken. It was around that time. It was before, right before Christmas. And then obviously some stuff happened after that as you, as you saw in the Instagram post. So what I do wanna say is, are there people that are still not being able to hearing me?
Some people are saying, I hear you, and some people are saying no sound. I don’t. I can hear no sound. No sound. There is no audio I can hear. I hear you. Unless people that are saying no sound are tuning in from the very beginning, okay, that’s what it, that’s what it means. Okay? So here’s what I wanna say.
Obviously a lot came out today. A lot came out in the major outlets, not just stuff floating around on the. Reddit boards and message boards and all that. And that is the stuff that all the major outlets are covering, which is there is a possible domestic violence, uh, case between Dakota and uh, Taylor going on.
I’m not gonna talk about that. I know. No details other than everything that was released today. I heard three weeks ago, right around the time it was all happening, but again, I couldn’t prove it. I have no evidence of photo evidence of anything, any video evidence of anything. So I will let the authorities in Salt Lake City handle that, and I’m sure more and more stuff is gonna be coming out about that.
But just so you have an idea of. Structure and the filming of everything. Taylor. Frankie Paul season filmed from October 26th, bachelorette season. Sorry, it filmed from October 26th to around December 19th or December 20th. That was the day of the final rose ceremony in St. Lucia, where Taylor, Frankie Paul got engaged.
I’m gonna call her Taylor. I keep calling her Taylor, Frankie Paul, where Taylor got engaged to Doug. The stuff that I posted today, I heard it was like about a month after that engagement is when it all ended between her and Doug. Doug was flown out to Utah to see her, their breakup was filmed. So we will be seeing that on the, after the final rose, and again, I don’t, I’m not privy to exactly what she told him of why they broke up, but.
I know it stems around Dakota. Like anybody that has watched this show, anybody that has followed Taylor and Dakota’s journey for Four Seasons now knows these two cannot quit each other. They just have this bond. Uh, you know, not only do they have a bond in the fact that they have a child together, but they have a bond that clearly a lot of people are just scratching their heads.
Hell, I, I’m not a fan of Secret Lives. I don’t watch it. I’m very well aware. I’ve seen the clips for season four. I know what Taylor says, and you know that scene of Dakota telling her he slept with somebody else. And she’s like, was it good? Did you finish? And then she tells her friends that got her excited and then she slept with Dakota after that.
Like, that’s not normal behavior. That’s very unhealthy. That’s very eventually, uh, unstable. And I’m not blaming it all on her. Obviously Dakota’s at fault too. It’s like he can’t quit her either. And maybe their sex is just. 4th of July every time, I don’t know I, these, these two clearly cannot stop fucking each other and it is what it is.
But here’s the thing. She went on the show to be the Bachelorette. And clearly once we found out, and again, this is something that I knew about during filming, but I could not say, there was no way for me to prove it. So I could not say while she was out there still filming, Hey, by the way guys, she slept with Dakota the night before.
Now you can say, Steve, plenty of contestants sleep with contestants. You know, other people the night before they leave for filming, but this is the lead we’re talking about. And you just can’t convince me that someone that is taking her bachelorette journey seriously would not only get with somebody the night before she left for filming, but get with the guy that she literally hasn’t been able to quit ever since they met.
So I think that speaks volumes. And for Jesse Palmer to sit there and promote this season by saying like, Hey, that was in the past. I didn’t care about what Taylor did before the show. Whether it was the week before we started filming, or five years before. Like that’s total bullshit. Sorry dude, that’s on you to actually come correct and just be like, you know what?
Like, not that he can stop down the show or whatever, but. That says a lot that she was with Dakota the night before filming show. She didn’t take the show seriously and any sort of promotion where she says, oh, I just needed to get out of that and look. Anybody with half a brain realizes at this point.
Taylor absolutely took the bachelorette role as a way to just make Dakota jealous. That’s all this was. This was just a shot at Dakota, and I’m not sitting here saying I’m a Dakota fan. I don’t know Dakota at all. I’m just saying it’s clearly obvious what this did because the second she got back from filming, come on now.
So here’s what I wanna say and what I wanted to show you now again. This information, I can even tell you who this information came from, or not even information. This picture, I just wanna show you this. I’m not gonna talk about the DV stuff. I don’t know enough about it, and I think it’s sad because there’s a child involved, there’s an investigation ongoing.
Personally, none of my business. You wanna let other content creators talk about stuff they don’t know about. They can go ahead and do it. This has nothing to do with DV allegations or I’m gonna show you a, a picture of somebody with a black eye or so. No, I’m not gonna do any of that. I don’t even know if there’s a picture out there that has that.
But what I am gonna show you is something that I find truly amazing. Um, I almost commend it for its intensity, but as someone who has covered the. Clay Necker, Laura Owens case. I almost feel like remember how anybody that’s followed this Clay Necker, Laura Owens case and the Love Trapped Podcast, were just saying how batshit insane Laura Owens is for the 500 emails and the dating contracts that she had sent.
Clay Necker. Well, I can tell you right now, I’m gonna show you a picture
of Dakota’s phone. And this picture of Dakota’s phone was given to me by his roommate crew. First time I talked to Crew was today, and I thanked him because I had been sent this picture by an anonymous email account. So I actually messaged Crew today and I said, Hey man, you’re his roommate. I’m sure you know about this.
Is this legit? You know, is it legit? No, I, I’ve obviously, I never doubted that it was not Dakota’s phone, and you’ll see why in a second. But he said, oh yeah, no, that’s legit. And I said, can I, do you confirm that this is Dakota’s phone and I can say it’s for me? He’s like, yeah, you can say it’s for me. And he sent it to me.
So I have it twice. Same exact picture. And again, this isn’t like.
So this is a picture of Dakota’s phone. Now, the timestamp on this, in terms of when this picture was taken, I can tell you was January, whether it was pre Doug breakup or post Doug breakup. What I do know, it was right around this time of the Dakota of the, uh, Doug breakup and Taylor breakup, and this is. A woman who you just saw in season four of Secret Lives of Mormon wives claims, oh, Dakota never loved me, and oh, I just need to move on from him and everybody in her life, telling her You need to move on from him and her saying that the Bachelorette provided her that ability to move along.
Move, move on from Dakota when, as we all know, this was basically a fuck you to Dakota and try and make him jealous. So I just wanna pull up this photo. I don’t know how big it’s gonna look on your screen, but this is a picture of Dakota’s phone log from January of this year, a couple months ago, right around the time of the Taylor and Doug breakup.
It could have happened before, could have happened after, but whether or not she was with Doug at the time still, or not with Doug at the time. I guess maybe it could be a little bit juicy or if she was still with Doug, but this just goes to show the obsession.
Um, I’m trying to think. Can I make this bigger anyway? If you can’t see it, you will see in January at some point, Taylor called Dakota 33 times at 2 0 2 in the morning. And then she FaceTimed him at 2 0 5 and then at 3:44 AM 90 minutes later, she called him 118 times. What the fuck? Like I almost am impressed Taylor.
I’m almost impressed that someone has the ability to press send on their phone 118 times in a row at 3 44 in the morning, and then Jordan, and then he didn’t get another call, obviously until the next morning, and then Taylor called him three times at noon, twice or 2, 12 23, and then 1225 and then twice at 1229.
At 2 0 2 in the morning. She called him 33 times at 3 44 in the morning. She called him 118 times. I didn’t even know that was possible, like at 3 44 in the morning. I think if you hit the send button 50 times and he didn’t pick up no, 50 I, it’s giving her too much credit here, I would think after you hit the send button, I don’t know, five, 10 times.
May maybe you give up because I’m assuming he’s just clicking end and sending it right to voicemail. This, I’m sorry to laugh at this, but this is, this is comical and it’s obviously insane. This is insane behavior and I,
I mean, look at that now. You can say, Steve. Well, we don’t know. You know, if you’re, if you’re a, I know Taylor’s got a bunch of stands out there. You’re like, Steve, how do we know this is legit? Okay. Let’s just say this is not legit. Do you really think people are diabolical enough to be like, Hey, I know how we can frame Taylor.
I’m gonna put her in my phone as Taylor Paul at two o’clock in the morning. Um, I want, I’m gonna put like. Just saying they’re making this up. I’m gonna put you in my phone as Taylor Paul at two o’clock in the morning. I want you to call me 33 times. I’m gonna hang up on you every time, and then wait about 90 minutes or so and then call me 118 more times like.
Do you honestly think, knowing what you know about this relationship and knowing what you know about Taylor and Dakota, or mostly Taylor in this situation, do you honestly think this is made up? No. This is Dakota’s phone from January and this is just insane behavior like. To the point of, let me just, I, I can remove it off the screen.
If people wanna take a screenshot of it and pass it around, that’s fine. ’cause this is a real photo. But this is what I’m talking about when it comes to Taylor and what I’ve been talking about since the very beginning with her. This was somebody that was never serious and people have to understand, like this whole thing.
Is being done as a promotion under the A B, C Disney umbrella. Just like season 10. Season four, episode 10 of Secret Lives ended. With this cliffhanger of Taylor and Dakota sleeping together, uh, before she left to go to filming and the girls were all waiting for her at the airport. She didn’t show up ’cause she was at home banging Dakota.
Okay? Now the people that watched season four of Secret Lives. Are now gonna tune into the Bachelorette, which is also under the A, B, C, you know, the Disney umbrella under A, B, C. So now we’re gonna see 11, 12 episodes of her season play out. She’s gonna get engaged to Doug. And then everything that I told you in the spoilers today is gonna be, the breakups gonna be filmed, and then we’re gonna see when season five, eventually when it goes, comes back around to start filming.
Because you saw the story today that production has been paused on season five of Secret Lives because of this DV allegation that’s going on and police are involved. Like I said, I’m not gonna get into that stuff because it’s just sad at this point. I just wanted to talk about the stuff that is bachelorette related, but what I can tell you is.
Season five of Secret Lives is clearly going to resume filming. At some point, they’re not just gonna be like, shut it all down. Now me thinking about this as an outsider, like what could they possibly do for season five? What if this investigation turns into Taylor getting arrested? What if this investigation turns into Dakota getting arrested?
What if this investigation turns into Taylor losing ever, you know, losing custody or something like that. Like that’s horrible. I think, in my opinion, at this point. Is, I think we could be headed for a situation similar to Jacks on the Valley. I think maybe secret lives can survive without Taylor. I know some people might think that’s sacrilegious and say, oh my God, no way.
She’s the, the main focal point of the show. We need her storylines. But this, and what’s getting out now is way too toxic. Way too toxic. This should never happen. And just seeing. Her being that upset, whether it was while she was still engaged to Doug or right after she broke up with Doug, she shouldn’t be texting her baby daddy.
Excuse me. She shouldn’t be calling her baby daddy 118 times at 3 44 in the morning. There’s no excuse whatsoever for that. None. And 33 times, 90 minutes before that, so. She’s clearly not mentally all there, and I think it’s safe to say, I don’t think I’m speaking outta line here. Taylor needs help. She needs to either go to some sort of rehab.
She needs to get some sort of intense therapy because this isn’t healthy for anybody. This isn’t healthy for her. It’s not healthy for Dakota. It’s not healthy for their child. She needs help. And the fact that she has known about this for the last three weeks, and there she was on the Oscar’s red carpet pretending like nothing happened.
Like, I don’t know where a, b, C stands on all this. I don’t think they’re gonna pull the bachelorette off the air because her bachelorette season has nothing to do with these DV allegations that happened at the end of February. Like they’re gonna run her season. Season five will eventually of Secret Lives, will eventually pick up and start filming again.
But you’ve heard what some of the women have said, we don’t wanna film with her. It’s getting outta hand and I think maybe Secret Lives steps in and says, you know what? Yeah, you know what, Taylor, it’s gotten way too toxic. We’re not gonna have you on the show for X amount of episodes this season and maybe not bring her back at all.
Kind of like the Jacks Taylor situation. Like you either go get help or you’re not gonna be on the show. I think it’s come to that with her. I really do. How can it not, you know? And I understand she’s a very, very focal point of this show. She’s a very, very focal point of this franchise. She literally started the Mom Talk franchise.
I get it. But look at what we’ve gotten to now. She just went on the bachelorette. Completely dropped a nu, you know, a nuclear bomb on that franchise with the way this is going. And you got this show sitting there trying to pretend like, eh, well, whatever she did before the show doesn’t really matter. All I cared about was, is she gonna find, it’s like, come on, man.
Did you honestly think this woman was taking the show seriously? She wasn’t. It’s just it, the whole thing just sucks all around. I’m not a huge fan of her, but what I am a fan of right now when it comes to Taylor is her getting help. Everybody should be telling this woman, you need to get help. And if she’s gonna refuse to listen, and if she’s gonna refuse to say, you know what, I’ve got to get my head on straight before I ever go back to filming any other TV show ever again.
I don’t think that’s outta line to say that. I really don’t. She needs help. As evidenced by 118 phone calls at three forty four in the morning. You can laugh all you want at Laura Owen’s dating contract to Clayton Eckard saying, Hey, you need to date me or else I’m going to the sun with this bogus story.
I don’t think, I mean, I never thought I’d say this, but Taylor, Frankie Paul is making Laura o what Laura Owens did look like a walk in the park. Cannot believe. I just wanna pull it up again. Let’s just look at this and just kind of laugh.
3 44 in the morning, 118 calls. Who has the motivation to call somebody 118 times in a row when they’re clearly not picking up after, I don’t know, 3, 4, 5 times.
And I was just trying to think, well, how is anybody gonna defend this on Taylor’s side if they’re gonna defend it by saying, oh, I bet it was an emergency with ever, and she wanted to tell Dakota about it, and he wouldn’t pick up. No, there was no emergency with ever in this situation. This was just her crashing out and being so obsessed.
With Dakota and using him and almost using her son to get at Dakota. Uh, to get at Dakota. And it’s just, it’s just sad at this point. It really is. So a couple things that I, and I also wanted to talk about when we talk about the Bachelorette itself and the promotion for this season, you know, Jesse Palmer is going to say all this stuff about.
You know, we don’t tire, you don’t care about what happened in the past and they’re gonna promote the season. But now that this stuff has come out today that it’s not even a secret. Like, like I said, I heard about this three weeks ago, but there was nothing I could do. I wasn’t going to go on my podcast or do a YouTube video and say, Hey everybody, I’m hearing that there’s DB allegations between Taylor and Dakota.
You know, expect it to be coming and breaking in a few weeks. Like it just wasn’t my place to do that. Now that it is out there publicly, and I’m glad that season four and episode 10 of the Mormon Wives Show aired because that was something I heard about during filming. I heard about that back in November that Taylor didn’t show up.
For her send off to go film The Bachelorette because she was with Dakota the night before. But if I would’ve said that back then, I would’ve been accused of not having any evidence. And I like to present evidence. I like to present in the past. Would I have run with that? Absolutely. But I just couldn’t.
But it played into what everyone was telling me about Taylor the second she was announced as the Bachelorette back in September. So what does The Bachelorette do at this point? Well, they’re just continuing to promote the season. You had that bullshit show that aired last night where the former Bachelorettes talked to Taylor, even though they made it seem like they were talking to her before her journey even started, and every conversation she had with those former Bachelorettes last night was her sitting there and hearing their stories and asking them questions.
Well, what do I do if there’s a guy that’s really causing trouble? It’s like, as I said numerous times on my podcast, maybe you’ve heard it, maybe you haven’t, but. That filming with the women, the former bachelorettes happened on November 20th. Go to any of their Instagram accounts. They were posting about it that day.
November 20th was literally right before she started filming hometown dates. So she was already through eliminating 18 of her, 22 men when she was sitting down talking to Trita and Rachel and Katie and all those people. And they’re telling her and giving her advice for stuff that she’s already been through.
She only had four guys left at that point. Lou, Shane, Casey and Doug, and they give us this bullshit half hour fluff piece to make us think that Taylor, Frankie Paul was actually hearing that before she started her journey. It was all just bullshit, and now they have this to deal with. They have. This major storyline that all the major outlets are carrying.
It’s not just on content creation. It’s not just for people that are talking about this show and talk about it every day and put up, you know, Instagram reels and Instagram posts. It’s out there now. I’m glad it is because I didn’t want this on me because, yeah, I would’ve been vindicated when these stories came out today, but I couldn’t run with this at the end of February.
There was no way. I had no proof. Plus this is a very heavy situation. You know, you’re dealing with dv, you’re dealing with, uh, a, a child involved, and I have no idea what this DV even consists of. But the bottom line is this show is gonna continue to go on at least this season of The Bachelorette. I don’t think a b, C is gonna pull this because what we’re gonna see on the Bachelorette for the next 12 weeks has nothing to do with the stories that came out today.
This was stuff that was filmed from October 26th to December 19th or December 20th. So they’re gonna air that. And then of course everybody and their mother is gonna tune into Taylor’s finale because they’re going gonna wanna see, well, what happened after she got engaged to Doug. I told you the basics of what happened.
We’re gonna get the details because she’s gonna have to sit up there on the after the final rose and talk about it. Doug’s gonna have to talk about it. What did she say to him? Did she mention it was Dakota? Like I said in my post, if she doesn’t say she’s breaking up with him and it’s Dakota related, then she’s lying to herself and she’s lying to the audience.
She broke up with Doug because she wasn’t over Dakota, which is what everybody said. The second she was announced as the Bachelorette saying, this woman isn’t over Dakota. There’s no way she is serious about this show. And it played out exactly like everybody predicted. Again, that’s just unfortunate. You know, they can talk about, oh my gosh, this season is Taylor’s this woman that just speaks her mind and she has no filter.
You saw in the previews the episode in Colorado and they’re all wearing cowboy hats and whatnot. What did they show? Taylor’s saying like, I’m taking all the rose back. Gimme those, and she puts all the roses on the stand. Obviously she didn’t GA take all the roses away because they still continued on with the show.
That’s just editing, it’s just promotion. She was probably having a bad night. Maybe she heard some stuff and she was just like, Ugh, I’m just so fed up with this. The way they make it seem like, do we really think Taylor shut down the show? Do we really think she took the roses away from every guy? How is that possible?
When we know she went to Las Vegas with nine guys and we know she went to Miami with six guys and she had four hometown dates and she had three overnight dates and she had a final two, and she got engaged at the end, like, don’t get swayed by the editing. Like, oh wow, look at her. She has no filter.
Taylor runs, you know. Marches to the beat of her own drum? No, it’s still a TV show. They control her. They’ll let her fly off the handle and show her warts and all. And I guess that’s why, you know, people seem to like her. But I guess my question is for the, for the Taylor stands out there and you’re allowed to like people on reality tv, I get it.
But what about Taylor? Are you saying you’re a fan of. The fact that she owns her own mess, that she’s chaotic. She pulls no punches, that she has no filter. I mean, I guess that’s an admirable quality to like about her, but I hope you want her and you like her because you want her to be better. And the fact is, you’ve now had four seasons of secret lives where it doesn’t seem like her behavior has gotten better at all.
She’s still doing the same things that she was doing in season one, right? So if you want her to be better and she continues to not be better, and in fact seemingly after today’s stories that come out, making things worse for herself and her children, I’m not saying you need to cancel her. I’m not saying that you need to badmouth her and send her horrible messages.
And you know, send her death threats. That’s not what I’m saying, but what I’m saying is for the people that do defend Taylor, I’m just curious, what are you defending her about? Because you should want her to get better at this point, and you shouldn’t be cheering her on like, go girl, women empowerment.
You go, no, she’s making it worse for herself and for her child and her family. She needs to get help. She needs to get better. It doesn’t look like she is. So that’s what I’m so confused about. It really is weird, this infatuation, it’s, look, we talk about it all the time. The parasocial relationship that people have with people on reality TV fans have with people that they see on tv, they think they know.
And I get, you know, I’ve seen one episode of this show from beginning to end, and that was season one, episode one. It’s the only episode I ever saw. I am very well aware. She’s got a shit ton of fans. She’s got 22 million followers. She’s got 8 million on TikTok, 22 million Instagram followers, so I get it.
She’s got a fan base. I’m just curious of what this fan base is cheering on at this point, because this woman seemingly makes the same mistakes over and over. And when you look at it, if Taylor was your actual friend in real life, because all these people that love her. Or just pair of social fans that don’t have any ties to her and don’t actually know her and talk to her and speak her with her on a daily basis.
So if this was one of your friends who was exhibiting the exact same behavior that Taylor has been with Dakota constantly saying, I’m over him. I’m moving on. I don’t want him anymore, I’m gonna be with somebody else, and then keeps running back to him, wouldn’t you get tired of that friend? Not say, I’m never gonna talk to you again, but wouldn’t you just kind of distance yourself from that person and just be like, she’s exhausting to deal with and you’re hearing some of the Mormon wives say it now, like according to the reports today, they don’t wanna film with her.
And that makes sense to me because it’s gotten to the point right now with Taylor where she’s exhausting people. It’s the same pattern of behavior over and over and over again. No one’s getting any better because of it.
So anyway, um, I’ll get to some questions. Um, when was the, after the Final Rose film? No, the after the Final Rose is live, so that won’t be until finale night and we don’t know when finale night is.
The second she got upset at the news of him sleeping with someone else this season on Secret Lives. I knew it was going to be a disaster. Yeah. You know, I haven’t seen that episode, but I’ve seen enough of the clip. I mean, I saw the clip where he tells her, yeah, I hooked up with somebody else and was it good, did you finish?
And then she tells her friend that that kind of turned her on and then she had sex with him after that. Like that’s what I mean, that’s not healthy behavior. What are people cheering this woman on for now, I don’t get it. Like I can understand why other people, like other people on reality tv, Hey, that set good examples and are just better.
I mean, whether you like whoever, I don’t know, Alex Earl, you like the way she puts on makeup and you like how authentic she is and whatever. You watch her get ready with me videos, I don’t even know if she still does those, but it’s like, okay, I get it. With Taylor, it’s been four seasons of toxic behavior.
It’s been four seasons of her not seemingly growing at all. How is that good for anybody? Why are people still championing for this woman? You should be championing for her to get better and when she continues to not get better and can she continues to crash out and contact Dakota 118 times. One night at 3 44 in the morning.
That’s someone that’s not mentally well right now and she needs to get help. I dunno how many times I’ve said that this podcast, but I’m making it known like I don’t hate Taylor. I don’t know her well enough and I haven’t followed her journey well enough. But I do know this woman basically screwed the Bachelorette franchise.
She took an opportunity, like I don’t blame her for taking the bachelorette role because why wouldn’t she? Get paid to date 22 other men to try and make Dakota jealous. Of course he was gonna take that. My thing is I don’t falter for that, but there’s a part of me that’s also like, she really just ruined this franchise, or at least pulled the wool over their eyes because she knew exactly what she was doing when she accepted this role.
We’re gonna watch her journey and she’s gonna say all these things to the men and she’s gonna say, oh my gosh, I’m falling in love with Doug, or, I am in love with Doug and she’s gonna be so happy that final day in St. Lucia. And just know the second she got back to Utah after filming with Doug in Utah at in St.
Lucia and whatever they say each other at that final Rose ceremony, literally within days it was back to the same old mess with Dakota. So it’s just like. When I watch The Bachelorette this season, and I’ll be covering it right here, live on my YouTube channel every Sunday night after the show ends, I’m just gonna be like, this is so not worth believing any word.
She says, like, it’s all bullshit. Everything she says to every single one of these guys all season long is total bullshit. She’s trying to convince herself that that’s how she feels, and I’m sure in the moment that’s how she thought she felt. If literally within days she was picking up where she left off with Dakota, once she got back from filming as an engaged woman, she was never over him.
And it’s just disheartening to see, and it’s gonna be a waste of time for the whole franchise. But are people gonna tune in? Absolutely. ’cause they’re gonna wanna see the mess, even with the spoiler out there that she’s no longer with Doug. Of course people are gonna tune into this. I’m just saying that this show really took a chance by going the celebrity route, and as I’ve said from the very beginning, since Taylor was announced as The Bachelorette, it’s not that I don’t want her to find love.
She deserves love just as much as anybody else, but she shouldn’t have been given this opportunity. She shouldn’t have been given this role because three kids with two different men, whoever she picked, was gonna be forced to move to Utah if this was ever gonna work in the long run. And this is a woman who had a DV charge within three years.
I mean, it should be somebody that had no DV charges and you could say, Steve, don’t we want to give people second chances? Absolutely. But this show, she doesn’t need to be on this show and be given the bachelorette role for the double standard that I’ve talked about all season. If this was a normal bachelor season and they plucked someone that wasn’t from a previous season and they said, Hey everyone, here’s your bachelor, 33-year-old CEO.
Whatever. I’m just making up the job, but 33-year-old man, 30 5-year-old man. Your new bachelor, John Smith. And then a quick Google search found out he had a DV charge from three years earlier where he chucked a chair at his former girlfriend. There would’ve been lines around the corner from every woman who watches this show saying, I cannot believe you are promoting this.
I cannot believe you’re giving this guy a chance. And I’ve heard the excuses for Taylor. I’ve heard people come to me and say, well, Steve, you don’t understand. Ever since that she’s gotten better and she’s improved. She’s gone to therapy, she’s a changed woman. Does 118 phone calls at three forty four in the morning two months ago, sound like a changed woman in light of the news that came out today.
Does this sound like a changed woman? Unfortunately, it doesn’t. That’s the big issue here. She should never have been given this role. Nothing we can do about it now. Show ended filming end of December, you know, 19th or 20th of December. We’re gonna see it, start playing out on Sunday. I’m just saying if they want to go the celebrity route, the C or D-list, celebrity, that’s got a ton of followers.
I have no problem with A, B, C doing that because for the longest time, for the last 15 years, every person who was the lead of the Bachelor of the Bachelorette was somebody from the franchise. So it’s like, okay, they wanna branch out and do something different. I just cannot believe it was her that they chose to do this.
Why choose somebody with such a checkered past with so many red flags? It made no sense at the time. I said this on September 10th when she was named The Bachelorette, and I’m gonna repeat it all season. It made no sense to me. I get it in terms of the corporate synergy, A, B, C, Disney, Hulu, all under that same umbrella, and it’s just one long storyline.
I get it from the television perspective, but. Hell. Now thinking of it, maybe you should have chosen one of the other Mormon wives as your bachelorette, whoever is single in that group. I don’t even know. Are there any that are still single? I don’t even think there is, but you know what I’m saying. Or choose somebody from, choose one of the pros from Dancing with the Stars.
Choose Alex Earl. I, I. If you wanna go with somebody that’s famous, that was single, that has a ton of followers, I’m just saying there were so many more options than somebody that had this much quote unquote baggage because now you’re forcing these guys that you handpicked these 22 men showing up on Taylor’s season.
They all have to be cool with a woman who has three kids from two dads. They all have to be cool with moving to Utah, and they all have to be cool with their past, and they all have to be cool with the fact that. Once their lives end on the bachelorette filming, they’re gonna have to pick up Secret lives of Mormon wives Season five filming because they are now in Taylor, Frankie Paul’s life as her boyfriend slash fiance.
That’s just asking a lot. It wasn’t believable. I don’t believe these guys ever came on the show truly thinking that Taylor, Frankie Paul was the one they wanted to be engaged to at the end. And I don’t believe for a second, she was serious about. The men going into this season, she convinced herself in her own mind she was, but actions speak louder than words and look at what her actions did and look at where we’re at now.
And you know what? It’s only gonna get worse from here. That’s the unfortunate part because more and more stuff is gonna start coming out about this DV charge and it’s just gonna suck. ’cause remember, there are kids involved. I feel sorry for the kids. I don’t know of anything about it. I’m not blaming her.
I’m not blaming Dakota. I don’t know, but I don’t, I don’t feel comfortable even covering the DV stuff. I really don’t. No, it’ll get out there. I’ll mention it and say, Hey, new story out came today. This is what, but it’s just brutal. But I wanted to come on today, address the spoilers that I put out there earlier today and say, Hey.
This is just kind of more proof that Taylor was never ready to go and be the bachelorette. She was never over Dakota before she left for filming. She was never over Dakota while she was filming and she clearly wasn’t over Dakota from the second she got back from filming. Period. End of story. Thank you all for coming on.
