So Taylor, Frankie Paul had her day in court yesterday.
A hearing to determine, I guess, the custody battle with Dakota. What I’m going to do is we’re gonna dive into this a lot more with Rachel Juarez, who’s obviously a family law attorney. She’s gonna be the weekly podcast that’s coming out tomorrow. I’m recording with her today. It’ll be up on my Patreon shortly thereafter.

The things going on in this case, we’re also gonna talk about the Love Trapped podcast, but we’re gonna spend a lot of time talking about Taylor Frankie Hall, because this is, you know, as a family attorney, she’s dealt with a lot of custody issues like this, not in the state of Utah.
She’s only dealt with California. She did already tell me that something that they did yesterday is something that she’s unfamiliar with, but the result of yesterday’s hearing was that the judge decided. That Taylor, Frankie Paul can only have eight hours of visitation time with her son ever, and it has to be supervised, and that is until for the next three weeks, and now one day.
Till April 30th, where that is where the next hearing is set for a court battle in which the judge will assess dueling petitions for protective orders between the payer because Taylor, Frankie Paul filed a protective order against Dakota at yesterday’s hearing. The judge Russell minus said he has concerns going both ways about the allegations between Dakota and Taylor, and he was also saying that the judge said this quote.
Even if Dakota was trying to provoke a response, the actions that occurred are very troubling. He was concerned about Taylor reacting to Mortenson when she’s angry, but not being able to stop and assess the situation whenever was present. And that’s exactly what I pointed out the day that video came out, which was, Hey, in the heat of the moment when that was all going on in that video that we saw.
To see her throw the chair and then after her daughter is screaming, Taylor’s focus was still on Dakota and he made her do it and not running to her daughter and saying, oh my God, I’m so sorry. Don’t worry. Mommy’s here for you. And that’s exactly what the judge said yesterday. Like my concern is you were more concerned about Dakota at that point.
And not even specifically talking about that video. We are going to listen to some of the things the judge said when I interview Rachel later today. Taylor also came out yesterday and said that she has been the victim of physical and emotional abuse. She laid out some things that happened, so apparently there were some videos that were shown, some of which were shown yesterday in court, revealing in their arguments, details in the protective order of the filings that have been sealed.
Taylor, Frankie Paul’s lawyer gave an account of what he called the tuck, the, the truck tussle. That was the, what we’re finding out happened in late February in his request for the protective order. Dakota said that Taylor threw a drink at him as they argued in a truck to not wake up children who were sleeping inside Paul’s home, but.
Taylor’s lawyer said Dakota slammed Taylor. Frankie Paul’s head into the dashboard and punched her in the leg, showing the judge photos of her bruises. That and another fight around the same time are under investigation by the police in Salt Lake City and in the suburb. Of Salt Lake City and Draper City.
The sides generally agreed that Taylor didn’t intentionally direct violence at their son or her other two children. From the previous relationship that she has with Tate at issue was her willingness to lash out at Mor Mortenson when children are present. So. It said Evers court appointed lawyer appointed to a May, 2025 video that has not been released publicly.
He said it shows Taylor, Frankie Paul, pushing Dakota and shouting for him to get out of her house while he’s holding their child. So in case you’ve lost track of what we’re talking about here and what we’re dealing with, here’s what we got. We’ve got the 2023 domestic violence video that we all saw that TMZ released.
We also have an incident under investigation that was reported from 2024 that apparently videos are attached to that is under investigation. This new thing now from May of 2025, there apparently is a video of Taylor screaming at Dakota while he has ever in his arms and now. We know February, 2026 where we have dueling arguments of what particularly happened during that argument.
So now we have four instances where children are involved. The lawyer for Dakota said makes me very nervous about her ability to control herself and her volatility said Taylor has a difficult time with self-control and I think that puts my client at risk. Her attorney shot back with, he’s holding the child as his human shield, so to speak, and provoking my client and not getting out of her house.
Another lawyer for Dakota argued that Taylor uses their shared child to perpetuate a cycle of abuse that keeps Dakota coming back. He’s often invited back and his child is often used as a pawn. As a pawn to start fight. So you can see where this is going. Dakota says she uses ever as a pawn in their relationship to keep getting him to come back.
And he’s saying, and she’s saying he holds the child as a human shield to me and provokes me so he can get me on camera freaking out. It’s like, okay, I mean. If that’s what he’s doing. Again, he could call you every name in the book and he can yell at you. But what we saw in the 2023 domestic violence video, you have to be able to control your temper better.
I mean, it’s as simple as that. I, I, Taylor’s gotta understand that. And now that she didn’t have any contact with her son for the last two and a half weeks, and now she can get eight hours a week and it has to be supervised by a mediator. I mean, look, I don’t know if. When she has these eight hours a week up until April 30th, the next hearing, if she’s allowed to have her phone with her.
But God forbid if she posts videos of her and ever like having a great time, and it’s just like, that to me is gonna be so performative. Look, Dakota does it too. Dakota Post would ever, all the time to make it seem like ever, you know, is having a great time with him. I get it. Parents wanna show that. But now that.
We’ve all read what is going back and forth between these two, and Dakota says she uses ever as a pawn and she says Dakota uses ever as a pawn. If we see if she’s allowed to have her phone, I don’t even know what her phone situation is in terms of with the child. Obviously she’s allowed to use her phone, but if we see over these next three weeks, every time that she does get time with ever, she’s posting them at the park or having fun or having ice cream, it’s gonna be like.
Taylor, I, it’s almost a little too late. You know, it, it, that doesn’t show us anything because the issues you seemingly have with ever and are when Dakota is around, so showing us that ever’s on great behavior and he loves his mommy when he is with you. I don’t think anybody doubts that. I think what people doubt are every time it’s the three of them, something crazy happens.
But that’s the stance that. Her lawyers are taking, he said yesterday, we all know that social media has made up my mind about its client. The court, unlike social media, actually has to get it right. The evidence we believe on the 30th when viewed in its totality will show who the real abuser is, who the real violent actor has been during the party’s relationship.
So this is going to be a battle, and we already know what both stances are going to be. And unfortunately a child is involved and. Again, this is all just for the custody battle. This doesn’t even take into account like, I don’t even know these open investigations. What’s gonna happen with that? Is she in violation with, now, her probation was supposed to end in August and now she’s had three incidents.
One in 20 24, 1 in 20, 25 and one, two months ago in February of 2026. That seemed to be in clear violation of her probation. But those are completely separate cases, like I don’t even think those are brought up. In these custody cases, but we’re gonna talk to Rachel Juarez about this today and kind of break it down and go over the incidents and what this means.
I, I know it’s not positive for Taylor. What happened to her today in court wasn’t great, but it was pretty much expected, right? Like I said yesterday, I said I, I’m not a judge. I don’t know how this custody stuff works, but I highly doubt that at today’s hearing when I said this yesterday. Be a judge is gonna be like, all right, let’s go back to what it was like.
There was no way that was gonna happen. Not with two open investigations. And now a third incident from May of 2025 last year where she was pushing him while he had ever in his arms. It’s just not good. And. I know that she’s gonna be like, everybody’s already made me out to be the victim or the the aggressor.
I’m the victim here. We already know what her stance is, and she’s gonna have her day in court on April 30th to try and prove it. But if anybody thinks that, all of a sudden the judge is gonna go, oh wow, it’s Dakota, who’s at fault for everything? Taylor, you’ve done nothing wrong. You get custody. Dakota gets barely any time.
That’s just not happening. Taylor. Best hope. For to at least keep 50 50 custody, I would think. But you know, who knows in this situation, because right now it looks like both of them are possibly using ever as a pawn in their relationship, and that’s not good for anybody. Both of ’em just need to knock it off, and you don’t want ever to be taken away from them.
But if this behavior keeps continuing, won’t it? The other thing that. I said Taylor, Frankie Paul filed for yesterday was a protective order against him saying she has alleged that he has a pattern of abusive conduct and coercive control over her. Said he became increasingly possessive as the premier of the bachelorette was set to air on March 22nd.
She alleges that he sent her text saying, I want you forever. I still love and want you give me a chance. He sent those on February 16th and 17th, which was basically a little more than a month before her season was set to air. She also claims on February 17th, she was shown an image of Mortenson’s lips, which he had her initials tattooed inside of them, which he later confirmed to her over a text, and she said, considering his increasingly possessive and erratic behavior.
And considering the fact that we are not in a relationship, this was extremely alarming. My initials are now permanently tattooed on the body of a man who has been abusive toward and possessive of me. Her filing includes images of Dakota’s lip tattoo, which reads TFP, but it does not include the date the images were taken.
So, yeah, she’s saying that February incident, little over a month ago, she’s claiming that he assaulted her by slamming her head against the dashboard of the truck and striking her knee and elbow after driving away from her home against her will, where the children were sleeping inside the filing, also requests that ever be covered under the protective order, and she showed photos of bruises that she had.
So again, none of this is positive. It’s all ugly. It goes both ways. We haven’t seen photos that show bruises, at least I don’t think I, I, I don’t think I’ve seen them yet. I don’t think they’re out there yet because they would be plastered all over TMZ since they had no problem posting that three and a half minute video of her in a rage and chucking bar stools at him.
So any pictures that come out, like, I don’t know if this stuff is, it’s seemingly this stuff is sealed, but. Are we gonna get to see it at some point? Is it sealed for an X amount of time? This is all stuff we’ll get into Rachel Juarez about moving on. We’re gonna talk a little bit about winter games and I said in the open, like, no, just no, I, I can’t, this is, this is delving into literally almost like old school reality tv, right?
Where it’s just so. There’s no point, like this isn’t some sort of study in reality TV or some brilliant idea that Alex Cooper came up with in the reality TV dating world. It’s just, Hey, let’s put a bunch of controversial reality TV stars in a house for four days in Utah and make up a bunch of bullshit challenges and let’s see who hooks up and let’s see who fights.
And that’s it. Like there’s no point to this. I’m glad it’s only four episodes. ’cause if this was some sort of 10 episode season and they did once a week, I would’ve been out after this episode because it’s getting ridiculous right now. This guy that they now brought in, who replaced Andrew, who went to the bar or whatever, this guy who has the podcast about, you know, let’s shut up and let’s fuck, or whatever that is.
I mean, really that’s what we need on this show. It just, it, this show is so pointless. There’s not, there’s no redeeming qualities about this show, and it’s not like there’s some sort of strategy involved in this game. You’re really interested in which one of these influencers who already makes 25 to $50,000 on Instagram post is gonna win $10,000 in a challenge like Whoopee fucking due.
Like I said, they’re making 50,000 in Instagram posts, probably on the low side. For some of ’em, it’s like, what is the point of this show? Why is it only four days? It’s like I, I don’t know, and I haven’t heard good things about love overboard either. So Alex Cooper diving into the reality TV world space.
While she has an unbelievable podcast that she’s built an empire around, she might need to rethink what she’s doing with her reality shows because Love Overboard isn’t getting any sort of buzz that I can see, and winter games fucking sucks. It’s just downright stupid and dumb, flat out. That’s all it is.
It’s like, oh, hey, a bunch of good looking rich people. That make a ton of money as influencers are attracted to each other and like that’s what the show is about. The games itself are literally taking a backseat. It’s more about what’s going on in the house. Who’s, who’s Hallie Batchelder gonna hook up with?
Which one of the three guys is she gonna hook up with? It’s like. Why? What’s the point of this? Oh, okay. Let’s bring in this guy that has the podcast. This guy that wants to just have sex with anybody he can. I just like, this is so dumb. Please tell me anybody that’s watching This isn’t enthralled. I don’t even know if I’m gonna watch episodes three and four.
I really don’t, even though it’s literally the only two episodes left. I don’t know if I can watch it. Survivor tonight, let’s not forget. Survivor is on because Survivor is a show that I absolutely love. And one thing that I wanna do point out is all my criticisms of Survivor this season have absolutely 100% been about production and the choices that they’ve made.
You know, they said this game was in the hands of the. Yes, we got to vote on things, but we only got to vote on the generic things. Hey, we want more twists. Hey, we don’t wanna give them rice. Okay. But then the show still comes up with the twists. It’s not in the hands of fans, it’s in the hands of fans, and then in the hands of the producers after the fans vote on some topic that we want.
It’s just dumb. I hate what they’re doing. And this has nothing on the contestants. The contestants have been great. They’re playing the best game they can, but you know, as I went over last week, what else is Genevieve supposed to do? The woman found two idols on the show and couldn’t even make it to the jury because the idols were pointless to her.
She had to give them away. Like, what’s the point of a boomerang idol? What’s the point of titling it? The Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol. What’s the advantage of having a boomerang idol? There isn’t one. It just everything that they have done, even though they let the fans vote. Whatever decisions production has made have been the wrong ones.
They have just missed the boat completely. Let’s hope it turns around with these final 14 contestants. By the way, the 14 people that are left, the breakdown goes, it’s eight old school players and six new school players, so keep that in mind. Not does, doesn’t necessarily mean that every vote is going to be old school, sticking with old school and new school, sticking with new school.
There could be some changeover for sure. All it takes is one person to flop and you’re already at a seven seven split. So we’ll see where it goes from here. I hope it improves, but geez, we haven’t even gotten to the Mr. Beast part of this season. The Zack Brown Challenge and the Zack Brown reward absolutely sucked.
The blood moon twist absolutely sucked. Billy Eil Boomerang Idol, absolutely sucked. What am I supposed to be excited for? Now? I gotta wait for Mr. Beast to show up whenever that is, and I think that’s gonna all of a sudden be some grand entrance and some grand twist to the show after what we’ve seen so far.
Ugh, probably not. It’s probably gonna make me even more upset. And don’t forget tonight. The Valley episode two. We get to probably make fun of Jesse’s new girlfriend, Lacey, who literally seems like a fem bot. I, how else can you describe her? Like zero movement in her face. Zero inflection in her voice. Just h how, how this relationship is even working. I have no idea, but seemingly Jesse just likes her for her looks because in the preview that we see for tonight, she lives in Orange County and has no interest in moving up to la Well, I don’t think Jesse’s moving down to orange.
So we pretty much know this is probably going to be a season two relationship That’ll fizzle, and then she’ll kind of be in the picture until Jesse finds somebody else to date.
