Well yesterday sure was an interesting day. Anytime I release the full season spoilers, immediate freak out begins. And then people start sending you all sorts of stuff. For the next 2 months I literally will hear every possible scenario that “supposedly” played out knowing that 99% of them aren’t true. Just the way it is. Without fail every season. It’s already started. Did I have people tell me yesterday that Jed won? Yes. Did I have someone yesterday tell me they thought Peter won? Yup. Even had one person tell me that Hannah chose no one? Shocker, I know. Well, all three of them can’t be true. And considering where the info came from, it’s just stuff you gotta chuckle at. I’m sure you all will read/hear rumors about things all season long. It’s up to you to decide what you put any stock into and what you don’t. The whole thing is one giant game. Just keep your head on straight, stay focused, and just enjoy the silliness we see every week. The outside noise is just that – noise. There are people out there whose sole purpose in life seems to be to prove that I’m wrong. I don’t get it, I never have, but I hear it every season and you just kinda laugh at it. You’d think maybe they’d have something better to do with their time, but season in and season out, I’ve come to realize they don’t. Their lives revolve around every word I write on this site or on my Twitter. Hey, you know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, sooooooo….thanks?
In case you missed it, your episode-by-episode spoilers were posted yesterday. I had to make one addition to them since a lot of people after yesterday’s reveal were asking, “Which Tyler?” I mean, maybe those people just skipped to the end of the post and didn’t read everything that goes down in episode #3? I don’t know. But for the sake of having to never answer that question again, I changed it to “Hannah is engaged to Tyler Cameron.” Funny how on Kimmel last night, he had 3 of Hannah’s final 4 guys, and his one wrong one was Tyler G instead of Tyler C. Well played, Jimmy. Well played.
We’re a little over two weeks away from Reality Steve Fan Appreciation Party #5 in Las Vegas on Friday night, June 7th. If you are local and can drive out, I have roughly 5-10 spots I can give out now. If you want to come but are flying in and think you can still book and make it, you will definitely be put on the list because that’s some serious commitment. Can’t imagine there will be many of those, but we had some spots open up so it’s not too late right now. Get your “Reader Emails” and “Dr. Reality Steve” emails in today and tomorrow for this week’s columns. We’re low on both right now. I remember the days when “Dr. Reality Steve” would have 5-7 emails a week. I hope that the “He Said, She Said” podcast hasn’t discouraged people from writing in for that weekly column. I’d still like to do 3-4 a week if that’s possible. Right now only have one for this week, so get those in if you want to be a part of this week’s column.
Also, this week’s podcast is another “Bachelorette” alum, Dr. Jonathan Treece aka “Ticklemonster.” Don’t think that isn’t brought up 50 or 100 times. Ok, maybe not that many. But he’ll be on the podcast this week. Also we’ll have on Stephen Fishbach, Survivor guru and part of the “Know It Alls” podcast. I know people have opinions on the season as a whole and how it ended for sure and Stephen is one of the best people in the franchise to talk about this stuff. But look out, because the Ticklemonster is coming your way this Thursday. He’s going to tickle you. And you will either thinks it’s the funny thing ever or you will call the police. There’s no middle ground here.
