Podcast #261 – Answering Your “Reader Emails” & Hannah Browns Book Revelation

Well yesterday sure has everyone talking, doesn’t it? An excerpt from Hannah Brown’s book got released, and no one’s stopped talking about it since. In what was already a messy 6 months for Peter Weber’s life from the time he got engaged to Hannah Ann til the time he started dating Kelley, Hannah telling the story of how they had sex while his season was airing just made it even more messy. And that’s not even the full story. Something to note: When I started recording the podcast yesterday afternoon, Peter’s podcast response to what Hannah wrote wasn’t up yet. Then he released it earlier than expected, so, I did include my thoughts on Peter’s response during the first 15 minutes before answering your “Reader Emails.” The whole thing is just messy. Best word I can use to describe it. Did Hannah need to put that in her book? No. But I get why she did. So I hope you take the time to listen to today’s podcast. A lot of good emails this week. Enjoy…

Ugh, Steve, I don’t have time to listen to a long-winded podcast. Wish you would just write it down here, Bro.

Pete is such a sociopath. He just sleeps with whoever and doesn’t care who he hurts.

Justsaying… who exactly has he hurt? I haven’t seen or heard of any woman shedding tears over him. Hannah basically made it sound like they had a one night stand, it wasn’t all that great and she continued on. I think all these women saw who he was before getting in too deep. I’d say “loser” more than “sociopath.”

To me, this simply proves that Peter was NOT ready to make a commitment to any of these women. The minute something happened with one, he jumped into bed with another one. Madison really dodged a bullet here.

I’m not sure why any of this is surprising or even moderately shocking. We know that the lead sleeps with one, or more (usually more) women every season. And after the show, it’s a free for all. (I do get that the timing might be relevant, though still uninteresting). We know that most are on the show to launch or extend their IG followers so they can make money being an influencer… or sometimes become a member of the media. Heck, the new host of the show was the most successful Bachelor ever at turning his time on the show into a media career. I think he dumped the woman he picked a couple of weeks after the finale aired. We also know that only one Bachelor ever married the woman he proposed to… and that season, and the lead, was a total outlier in many ways. What’s interesting to me is that anyone cares at all that Peter slept with Hannah Brown… though it’s terribly funny that the sex was so meh. We all should have seen that coming.
