Golden Bachelorette starts filming this week. I was told filming begins on Thursday night. We don’t know if we’re using the regular mansion or the mansion they used for Jen season, which was the mansion they used during listen to your heart. What is it called? Like the hummingbird nest mansion or something like that.
Anyway, I have heard that Jones men start or Jones season starts filming on Thursday. The 21st was the date that I heard. We know if you follow Joan on Instagram, that she left this weekend. She kind of had a little, I guess, going away party, but she made it known that she left this weekend for LA as for how I’m going to handle golden bachelorette.
Probably like I handled golden bachelor. I knew nothing. I didn’t give you any of the men beforehand or excuse me, any of the women beforehand. And then when we got down to final three, I said, these are your final three women. They had hometown dates. Here’s who got eliminated at final three rose ceremony, which was faith.
Your final two are Teresa. Leslie. And then I was able to find out about a month before this finale aired that he had picked Teresa. As for the men, if I get any of, if I get any of Jones men, I will, I’ll put it out there, but I’m not going to sit here and do deep dives on these guys. I have heard of, well, I do know one guy that’s going to be there and that’s not.
Kelsey Anderson’s dad. He might be there, but that’s not the guy I heard about. People seem to think because he went I did notice someone messaged me last night, emailed me and said, did you notice that Kelsey Anderson’s dad went private on Instagram last night? I said, no, I didn’t. I guess he’s private on Instagram.
Seems kind of weird. And it’s not like it would be far fetched if her dad went on the show, considering she was openly hoping that he would go on the show. So I wouldn’t be surprised that we see him there. But the one guy that I did hear is not him. So maybe I’ll put him out there at some point this week.
I don’t know. As for Jen season, I actually finally took the time to go through the trailer that was released last week. And you know, it’s pretty obvious where some dates are. There are a couple that are like maybe hit and miss, but the one on one dates are. In there, and it’s clear who was on a one on one date based on that.
I’m going to lay it all out there in tomorrow’s column. So not only is tomorrow’s column going to have a transcript of the daily roundup, but it’s also going to have a screenshots of the first trailer of the season, and I will lay out for you who it is on the date and, and what episode the date is in.
So, I will give that to you tomorrow. And you know, like I said, it’s not too hard to figure out. You just have to take the time to actually pause the trailer when you’re watching it. And I didn’t do that until yesterday. So I will have that for you in tomorrow’s column. So look for that. All right, let’s get to this.
Joe Alwyn spoke for the first time about his breakup with Taylor Swift. He did an interview with, who was it with the time with the Sunday times in overseas or whatever. And. He addressed the fact, the rumors that there were several songs on tortured poets department that were inspired by their breakup.
And he said, in thinking on what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can empathize. This isn’t a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I wanna talk about , what a, what A whole bunch of word salad that was, I would hope that anyone and everyone can, that anyone and everyone can empathize and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years.
He went on to say. That is a hard thing to navigate. What is unusual and abnormal in the situation is that one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and outside world is able to weigh in. We all know they split after six and a half years. They split in April, right? When her tour started April of 2023, right?
When her tour started. About a month into her tour starting. And he said, so you have something real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space, tabloid, social media press, where it is then dissected, speculated on, pulled out of shape beyond recognition. And the truth is to that last point, there’s always going to be a gap between what is known and what isn’t.
And what is said, I have made my peace with that. As everyone knows, we together, both of us mutually, him and Taylor decided to keep the more private details of our relationship private. It was never something to commodify and I see no reason to change that now. Okay. He also went on to say, this is a little over a year ago now and I feel fortunate to be in a really great place in my life professionally and personally, I feel really good.
Well, as I said, there’s always going to be a gap between what is known and what said. So that’s the second time in the same interview he repeated the same line. Okay. There’s always going to be a gap between what’s known and what’s said. So basically he’s saying, look, I don’t care what people want to deduce from her songs and if it had to do with our split and if it didn’t, I know what’s real, I know what isn’t, our relationship was real, did either of them have either of them, Ever gotten into the details of why they broke up, who broke up with who, what was the reason?
No, they haven’t. And they never will. And this is the one thing, as much as I love Taylor Swift, you know, I do. I’m a huge Swifty been to her five of her concerts. I’m just not one that’s going to dissect song lyrics over and over and over again. I just, I guess I just don’t care because I know that she, I know what she does.
I know that I’m very well aware. She leaves clues. She leaves Easter eggs, all this stuff. Yeah. Until she specifically says, this song is about this, this line is about this guy, or this line is about this situation. I guess I just don’t care. It’s irrelevant to me. And I know that she’s never going to do that.
She’s been writing, how many albums has she had? I’ve lost track, 9, 10, 11. Has she ever specifically said this line that I wrote and this song that I wrote is about this ex? No, she hasn’t. I mean, I, I guess Swifties, it just keeps them busy for, for something to do. I don’t know. But man, it’s just like, she’s never going to give us an answer.
So what’s the point in doing it? It’s just guessing and speculating. And you know, me, when it comes to guessing and speculating, just leads to a lot of wrong answers sometimes. And unless she addresses it herself, I, I just don’t really want to spend a lot of time on it, you know? Joe finally ended the interview by saying I’m sure you can appreciate given the level of noise and scrutiny about my past relationship Why I wouldn’t want to just open the door to things like that right now I try and live in reality and away from the kind of online noise of Twitter or Wherever else it comes from and just try to stay in the moment So not taking shots at her didn’t even say anything remotely negative other than you know, the line that he repeated twice I don’t even think that’s negative.
That’s just like hey I know what the relationship was. Not all of you do. There’s always going to be a gap between what is known and what is said. So he’s made it clear. Like, look, I get that you guys all talk about it, but even a year later, I’m not going to come out and talk about our private relationship.
It’s just not going to happen. Thank you, Joe, for giving us a whole lot of nothing, but I’m fine with it. And I, you know, the fact that people are still asking him about this a year later.
