With bachelor in paradise taking this summer off. You know what that means. It just means they have a larger crop of contestants to pull from next summer, which is going to be huge for them because one of the best seasons they had was in 2021 after they had to take 2020 off because of COVID, then you had.
Well, that, that season was Claire’s Claire and Tasha’s men. Then you had it going into Clayton’s women and then Gabby and Rachel’s men. So you had so many to choose from there this time around next summer, you’re going to have Joey’s women. You’re going to have Jen’s men. You’re going to have the next bachelor’s women to choose from, and you’re going to have the next bachelorettes men to choose from, so you can have those four seasons.
And then of course, they’re not only going to choose from those seasons, but I’m guessing 90 percent of the cast will be from those seasons. And then they’ll just go back and probably pluck a couple alumni that were on seasons that weren’t the most recent four seasons. But yeah. You are going to get a lot, a lot of people that you are, you know, familiar with on recent seasons.
Now we’re still 11 months away. We don’t know who’s going to be in relationships by then. There might be people that avoid having relationships because they want to go on paradise next summer. Like I said, we were, we’re still 11 months away, but we know how it works. And a majority of the cast is usually from that calendar years, two seasons, meaning our next bachelor that airs from January to March of 2025.
And our next bachelorette, what’s going to air, you know, end of June, beginning of July, We’ll be the guys that nobody on the beach even knows about other than having seen them on a cast release, but they will not have seen any of their episodes there because bachelor paradise films in June and the next bachelorette probably isn’t going to start airing until like this time in the last couple of years, it’s been first and second week of July.
So they’ll be back. From filming bachelor in paradise, 20, 25, before the next bachelorette season even starts airing, meaning the guys that go down there, just like Gabby and Rachel’s guys went down last summer and nobody knew anything about them other than they know they were on the show and they could have looked them up on Instagram and stuff like that, but they didn’t know where they finished, they didn’t know anything.
Unless they read spoilers, then, you know, they had an idea, but that’s the kind of stuff I’m talking about. We’re looking at four seasons plus whatever they want to bring back from any of the seasons before that. So I expect a, they better do a good job on. Bachelor in paradise next summer. I still think they should tweak the format.
We don’t need to be bringing people in and week five and expecting them to couple up or even forcing them to couple up and say like, Hey, you have to make a decision right now. Are you going to stay together or are you going to break up? You got to do one of these two things. Are you just like, come on, they just met two days ago.
Let’s stop this. So I hope they find some way to tweak it. I know game of roses has a whole rundown of things that they want to tweak the franchise. And I agree with most of them. So I think, will the show adhere to those? Will the show even look at those? We never know. We won’t know until they start filming again.
It’s so far away, but we did get the announcement yesterday. Hey, bachelor in paradise is coming back. Speaking of the golden bachelorette. You know, I’ve had updates for you a couple of days ago. I was like, Hey, this is the guy that went on Jones first one on one date at Disneyland. His name is chalk. His name is chalk chapel, and he has a 60 year old insurance salesman from Wichita, Kansas.
And then yesterday I filled you in and said, Hey, by the way, chalk is divorced. He’s got two kids and he was recently engaged, but the, his fiance died suddenly last year. Due to a form of brain cancer. So I was like, check, check, check. This is exactly what this show wants. Chalk’s probably going far on Jones season.
Well, I’ve got some more news on chalk
on social media. I was able to find his children and just kind of glanced at their Instagram pages and they have pictures with their parents on there. And holy shit. Chalk’s ex wife looks like Joan. You see Chalk’s ex wife and you look at Joan and you’re like, he certainly has a type that’s for sure. So yeah, I just wanted to fill people in because when I saw it, I’m like, Jesus, very, very similar.
I mean, they’re not doppelgangers by any means, but let’s just say they’re both blonde, they’re both skinny, and they both look great for what, I mean, we know Joan is 60 or 61. I don’t know how old Chalk’s ex wife is, but she looks great for her age. I’ll just say that. So, that’s the update on Colton Bachelorette I wanted to give you.
So, I can’t really say that I was all in on Claim to Fame the first two seasons. I definitely didn’t watch the first one at all. And then last season, because remember, For charity season for like the first four weeks of charity season, they actually aired claim to fame before. So I would catch the last five minutes leading into charity season.
And then they just realized they made a huge mistake by doing that and claim to fame ended up moving behind and charities would air, you know, eight, seven central on Monday nights and claim to fame came after it for the rest of the season after about like three or four weeks, but. It’s on Wednesday nights this year, started last night, season three, episode one last night.
And I watched it and you know, I’m in, I’m not like, Oh my God, I’m dying to find out who these people are, you know? I’m sure there’s already guesses out there. If I, if I went looking, I could probably find most of them. I’m not saying on my own, I’m saying just go on social media, you know, do a hashtag claim to fame.
And I’ll see people saying like, Oh, this person is so and so’s, you know, niece or nephew or something like that. So I’m sure it’s out there. I don’t want to know kind of ruins it for me. The only thing that I did do when, as I did see the cast, obviously there’s one guy on there who has a name. That’s very uncommon.
And that guy’s name is HUD. So I was like, okay, let me just Google HUD son singer. And literally I found, I found out who he’s related to in three seconds. So if you don’t want to know who HUD is related to then mute right now, cause I’m going to spoil it because I was proud of the fact that I found him in three seconds.
You ready? 3, 2, 1. So HUD is the son of John Cougar Mellencamp. Hud Mellencamp. All you gotta do is Google it. So that means he’s also the nephew of Ted Oh wait, no, no. John Wait, so Hud is the brother of Teddy Mellencamp. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Is that right? Yeah, cause Teddy is one of Yeah, Teddy is Teddy Mellencamp is John Cougar Mellencamp’s daughter.
Yes. He’s got five children from three marriages. Michelle from his marriage to Esterline daughters, Teddy, Joe, and justice from his marriage to Victoria granucci sons, HUD and spec from his marriage to woman’s last name is Irwin. Oh, Elaine Irwin. So yeah, so he’s Teddy, he’s Teddy melon camps.
So I don’t even know who he’s using as his celebrity relative. Is he gonna use his sister, Teddy Mellencamp, or is he gonna use his dad, John Cougar? I don’t even know if he goes by John Cougar Mellencamp anymore. All I know is when I was growing up, Jack and Diane used to play on the radio non stop. You know, that was just the jam in the early to mid eighties little ditty about Jack and Diane, two American kids growing up in the heartland.
Jack is going to be a football star. Okay. You know what I’m talking about? Anyway, HUD is his son. So there you go. I just spoiled that for you. I don’t know who anybody else is and I don’t want to know. There are some guesses that I have, but I have no idea if I’m close or not. And finally, I want to.
Mention this. I was on us weekly yesterday and they had a cover story. I think it’s the actual cover of the magazine you get in the stores right now. I mean, I haven’t bought the US weekly magazine probably eight years because I just read it online and on my phone, but I think the cover story on the magazine this year is inside Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s marriage.
I was like, Oh, getting an update on Glenn and Gwen and Blake. Great. Their marriage on their three year anniversary. What?

I, I don’t watch the voice and I know it’s kind of how it started with them. I believe, right. They met on there and kind of fell for each other. They were both coming out of relationships, but holy crap, they’ve only been together three years. Like there’s a part of me that thinks they’ve been together eight years.
What? I mean, I don’t think they dated for five and only been married for three. Like, I feel like they’ve been together way longer, married way longer than three years, but apparently I am way off because it’s only been three. And I don’t know why, but I feel like it’s been eight. I don’t know what puts me at 2016, but
