the challenge last night. So we finally got our first. Arenas out of the way what was interesting to me was right when the show started I don’t know if they were trying to keep any sort of suspense of who were the two that were going in but there was No suspense whatsoever because it was the people as they were walking into the arena Everybody that was dressed in challenge attire In the spandex and the tank tops, we knew who was going in.
So we already knew who had lost for each team, that they were the ones that were automatically going in. But the last thing they showed us was last episode where they were just in the debate, you know, I thought we’d pick up from there. And then when they walked into the arena, we would find out who was chosen.
I mean, we kind of did, but we did it by what they were wearing. You know, when Johnny bananas shows up in ripped jeans, well, we knew he wasn’t in because he would. That one for era two, but in him and Laurel one for era two, clearly Laurel was in a tank top and jeans and whatnot. I’m just saying the other people, it was just like, okay, well, we know they didn’t get voted in because they’re not wearing any clothes that hasn’t been competing in the arena.
So that was just weird. I didn’t know it was going to start that way. And I didn’t realize all 90 minutes of the episode was going to be the eight different matches. So it was fun to watch. They took one of the main. Arena challenges from arena comps from each season. So we had hall brawl, we had the pole one, we had the hidden in plain sight one or whatever it’s called.
And then what else do we have? Oh, the dump the ball in the bucket. And they had to choose which one, which era played which game. And so our first one up was, uh, Naya and Amanda. Going against each other and Tony and Leroy, what are they? Uh, era three, right? Yeah, that was era three. And they played the dump the ball in the bucket.
I. Even though Amanda did win the second, I believe she won the, no, she won the first round. And yeah, and then I won the second one and third and the third one Naya ended up beating Amanda. And again, on something like that, maybe it’s unfortunate for Amanda, but she lost because she is outweighed by. At least 40 or 50 pounds.
Like Naya is just a very athletic and strong woman. And Amanda is tiny. Amanda is probably 90 pounds soaking wet and you just in an F and you can talk about David and Goliath and stuff like that. There’s just certain competitions that you’re not going to win if you’re giving up that much weight to somebody else.
And that was one of them. And actually there were, there were a few during these eight arena battles that It was just obvious who was going to win, not because of the edit. And if you looked ahead to see who was in future episodes, I’m just talking about straight, this is just not a good matchup. Tony and Leroy was a good matchup.
Although Leroy did not do well at all. Name wise, good matchup, but Tony is just way more physical and way more athletic than Leroy. Leroy is obviously getting up there in age. He’s a dad. He’s got two kids now. So Tony and Naya advance. Then we had arrow one with the poll game, poll challenge, Derek and Mark, Katie and Anissa, Derek.
Two straight wins over Mark. I just think Mark is 52 years old and just not something to go up against when Derek is known as one of the best poll players, if not the best poll player in challenge history. And this is another one where strength and weight played a big issue. Again, Katie is a tiny, tiny girl.
Anissa is so much bigger and stronger than Katie. And Anissa just overpowered Katie. Katie could have played that poll game 10 times with Anissa and Anissa would have went 10 and 0. It’s just bad choice. Probably would have lost on the throw the ball in the bucket game too. And probably would have lost all brawl.
I really think the only game that was neutral was where you had to build a fort and protect a Ford and do the knots and all that stuff. The fourth game that was played anyway, era era four went third, and that was Paulie and Theo and, uh, Norris and Olivia, and that was hall brawl. And the second Theo was going up against Paulie.
Look, I’ve never been a huge fan of Pauly. I just think he talks so much shit and I think he does have Napoleon’s complex, short man’s disease, whatever you want to call it. He just, I think it’s just the way he’s been his whole life because ever since we’ve known this guy on television and look, I didn’t even watch Pauly on big brother, but I’ve read all about it.
I know what he said. I know the way he treated people on that show. He says he’s changed. I hope he has, but maybe he’s changed in the way he treats people, but he hasn’t changed running his mouth. He knew, we saw his ITM, he knew it was Hall Brawl, and he said he was gonna hit Theo so hard, he wouldn’t know what hit him.
And both games of Hall Brawl, Pauly got absolutely pancaked by Theo, and it wasn’t even close. Again, those two could have hall brawled 10 times in a row and Theo would have stomped a mud hole in him 10 times in a row. Pauly can’t beat Theo in hall brawl. I don’t know what he was thinking, but again, that’s just maybe his ego taking over.
We know he has a big ego. We know he loves talking about himself. We know he’s very self absorbed when it comes to stuff like this. Yes, he went, he, when he joined the show, he went to three straight finals. Didn’t win, but that was still impressive, but then he was off the show for five years and now he comes back and he gets absolutely stomped by Theo.
It wasn’t even close. Like I said, they could, they could have done hall brawl 10 times between those two. Theo has literally what, six, eight inches on him and probably 50 to 75 pounds on hall brawl. I, you just can’t, Pauly can’t beat Theo in hall brawl, Norris and Olivia, probably the worst matchup of the night.
And again, Olivia, very physical, probably 20 to 30 pounds and stronger than the Reese and Reese admitted she doesn’t go to the gym, she doesn’t work out. And as good as Norris is, Norris was last season. Equally as poor this season. And again, she just got stuck in the wrong game. I think Noreesh could have done better against Olivia in the throw the ball in the bucket game.
And I keep calling it that, cause I can’t remember what the name of it is, but you know what I’m talking about? I think she could have done better in that, but, and maybe in the poll challenge, but in this, I mean, you saw it, Olivia just bullied her twice. Just ran right through her. So I know everyone has to react and overreact that’s watching the game, but it.
You know, good effort. Norris. I mean, she tried. I’m not saying she wasn’t trying, but again, Norris and Olivia could have done hall brawl 10 times and Olivia would have beaten her 10 times. It’s just, it’s just physics. She’s, she’s stronger and faster and bigger. And that plays a major role in hall brawl.
And then the final one was. I can’t remember what they’re called. I should’ve written these down hidden in plain. Why do I have hidden in plain sight on my mind? Is that it? Whatever. Car Maria one and Ryan one Ryan beat Brandon car Maria beat Kellyanne. Seemed like they were a lot closer to those two matchups because that’s something that’s fairly even it’s just who can build a bigger maze for someone else to get through with chains and ropes and wood and car Maria ended up winning Ryan ended up winning.
So we’re told at the end of the episode that the eight losers have a karma vote and you get to vote on everybody in the house from zero to five, who you think is a five and who you think is a zero. And obviously people are playing favorites and someone like Amanda is not going to get his course is going to give Tori a zero.
We know Tori isn’t a zero player, but we don’t know exactly what this means. When do they add this up when they add up people’s scores? What does it mean? Does it give them an advantage? Does it make them, does it skip them to the finals? We have no idea what these karma votes are. Ultimately mean, unless there are spoilers out there, I don’t want to know what they mean.
At least it gives something to where the people who are eliminated, I’m assuming it’s everybody wants to get eliminated, gets to do this and we’ll find out later on in the season. What exactly it means. And finally, just one thing about the golden bachelorette. I think I know what happens. I think I know the order.
I’m just trying to get something confirmed. Hopefully I’ll get it this weekend, but I can tell you this. Jordan, I think his last name is Heller. He finished fourth. I do know that. I know he got sent home after hometown dates. So your final three are Guy Gansert, Pascal Ibegui, and Chalkchapel. So keep those in mind.
Those are your final three. I will let you know who I’m hearing one, whether or not Joan got engaged. That I’m not sure of. I don’t know if I’m going to find that out for a while, but I think I know Who the three, two, one is. I just don’t know if she’s engaged or not, which makes sense. I just don’t know if Joan is going to jump in to an engagement with anybody from this show.
Anyway, I’ll let you know if, and when I get something confirmed, hopefully this weekend. Anyway, thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it. Follow podcasts. Also rate and review.
