Okay. Let’s talk about love is blind episodes seven through nine that dropped yesterday. Watch them yesterday afternoon.
And obviously some curve balls thrown at us. So yesterday. When I was going over the couples that I thought, I don’t know any spoilers for this. I don’t know who got married. I don’t know who broke up before the altar. I don’t know if somebody breaks up at the altar. I don’t know any spoilers for this. So I said, the couples that I think are going to make it and are probably still together were Garrett and Taylor, Tyler and Ashley, even though I called her Angela yesterday.
Sorry about that. Thank you to all those who corrected me, Tyler and Ashley, Steven and Monica. And then I just didn’t think Tim and Alex, Nick and Hannah and Ramsey’s Marissa, we’re going to make it. Well, two of those three couples that I thought were solid had some major, major roadblocks. And one of them was from the rumor that I had heard yesterday that has been floating around on the internet.
That Tyler has three children and it has never been brought up. I’m like, how has this never been brought up? He clearly does. It was proven online if you looked at things. And so we still don’t know all the details, but I did see an interview that Tyler did yesterday on somebody’s podcast. I did see a video of him saying, yeah, I should have brought it up.
I should have brought it up to her sooner because the person who did the interview asked the way it was shown on the show. Is that when you really brought it up to her the first time? And he said, well. There was never going to be a good time to bring it up to her. I should have brought it up to her early.
Earlier, I said, I didn’t want to say, I didn’t want to say it on camera. And once I did, he said, so I told Ashley this off camera, and then she wanted to talk about it on camera. So we did. And I, that is so huge. The fact that this guy never brought it up in the pods and never brought it up when he was talking to her father.
I’m just like, I don’t understand what goes through some of these people’s minds that go on this show, not thinking that people are going to find stuff out. And yes. The only thing we know is he was a sperm donor and he has three children, but he was, it’s not like he donated his sperm and three different women used it.
And he has three kids that he doesn’t have any sort of contact with. He just donated his sperm and he knows he’s got three kids out there. It sounds like three sperm to somebody that he is knows. I don’t even know if it’s someone he was, it’s someone he was close to someone who’s obviously a friend. And I think all three kids.
Are hers. And yeah, if I’m Ashley, I’m like, what the fuck, how do you not bring this up until now? So again, I don’t know any spoilers. Maybe she moved past it. Remember this was filmed a year ago. So much has happened since then with a lot of these couples and we’re just like. Okay. Well, I guess we’re going to find out in two weeks, next week, we get two episodes and then the following Wednesday is the finale.
So we’ll know in two weeks, although I’m sure there are spoilers out there. In fact, I came across a Tik TOK account yesterday that said, all right, let’s talk about the spoilers for love is blind season seven, if you don’t want to know which couples are still together and which couples aren’t. Fast forward now or skip this video.
And so I skipped it and did not watch it. So I have no idea what’s going on with Ashley and Tyler, but I got to believe Ashley was devastated when she heard that. How can you not be, how do you keep that from somebody that should be something from the very beginning? I know Tyler is saying, look, there’s no perfect way or right way to tell somebody.
I guess, but there is a way that you should be telling them, especially before you get engaged to them, especially before you meet their father and ask her father for her, for his blessing to marry her daughter, his daughter, I don’t know what Tyler was thinking. I don’t know. Maybe they’re still together.
I have, I have no idea, but he is going to get asked about that numerous times, especially on the reunion show. Clearly they have to cover that. Why did you not bring this up earlier? And he, I mean, he’s basically said like, I should have, it’s my mistake. This isn’t something like, Hey, I was talking to a girl before I left for filming, because he can move past that.
Just like anybody that goes on these dating shows is probably talking to someone before they go film. But for Tyler to have three kids that he allegedly is involved in their lives. How do you not bring that up to somebody you’re about to propose to and do get proposed to? And do get engaged to. And do ask her father for her, for his blessing.
Ah, I don’t get it. And then the other couple. Steven and Monica. What the fuck? Alright. When you were watching that last night, maybe I’m just oblivious to certain things. But, all of a sudden out of the blue, Steven and Monica are in a fight. Garrett and Taylor are over at Monica’s house, and they’re consoling her, and Stephen’s walking around in the background.
I thought when they first went to this scene, with Monica crying, and Garrett and Taylor consulting, consoling her, Stephen was gone. No, he was right there in the kitchen, and he walks to the other room, and then he comes and sits down. And,
he said he was away at a sleep test the night before. I had never even heard of this. Now, I can put two and two together. And figure, okay, he went to go get tested for sleep. Maybe he’s got sleep apnea, apnea. Maybe he has trouble sleeping. Maybe he’s got that restless leg syndrome. He was clearly getting tests done for, but it just seemed like we were all supposed to know what he was gone for a night for sleep tests.
Like it just seems like really weird that he went and did that during filming. But during that time of his sleep test, apparently he was texting another woman and he was texting her some very sexual things that Monica saw on his phone. She called him out for it. And here was the thing that was interesting to me.
Like they’re done. I don’t think we’re ever seeing Monica and Steven again on this show. And for some reason, I don’t know, I didn’t think that was the end of them. Or I thought we were going to get a conversation in episodes. Cause that happened at the very end of episode eight, we never see Steven and Monica in episode nine.
And then everything that I’m reading online, the recappers are all saying Steven and Monica have broken up on the show. I was like, that was it. I mean, certainly not defending the guy, but when he left, he said, I’m just going to, I’m going to leave you alone now. He didn’t. I, and I know that probably nobody ever thought that she would take him back, but I didn’t think that was going to be their last conversation and shit.
Maybe next week we do see them talk. I don’t know, but for sure, if that’s what she saw on his phone. And I understand that he was also saying in their conversation, I shouldn’t have gone on the show. It’s just like, again. I understand this is a very high, highly pressurized situation that they’re going on this show.
And obviously you have to get engaged to someone that you’ve never seen before. But this guy was such a love bomber and saying all the right things to Monica. And then he says, after he gets caught, well, yeah, I just never should’ve gone on the show. Sorry for wasting your time. Like, wait, what? It almost seems to me.
That this guy, even though he was saying everything that he was saying down in Mexico when they were engaged and everything that he was saying to her after they got back to DC, he was just full of shit. He didn’t want to be in this relationship and he probably didn’t care. He got caught. He probably wanted to get caught.
That’s my opinion of the situation because for him to just go out like that and say, yeah, you know what? I shouldn’t have never gone on the show. Shouldn’t have done that. I just, not to mention. Are we surprised that he got caught sexting with another woman considering what his conversation was with Monica the night before, when we saw them before they went to bed?
This guy couldn’t stop talking about anal with her. It’s just like, dude, you’re coming across as a total Neanderthal right now. What are you doing? I, again, I don’t understand what some of these people like. You ask people who have gone on these shows and they say like, yeah, you just kind of forget the cameras are there.
Well, apparently Steven did too because the level of conversation that this guy was fine with talking about on camera was just almost oblivious. I just didn’t know how he thought that that would come across on television. And then he took to Instagram stories yesterday. He’s basically like leaning in to being a villain.
Now he posted a Instagram story of the Spider Man in the black suit and that, and made up, you know, paraphrasing here, but it’s talked about, you know, entering my villain era phase now, after the last, after today’s episodes drop or whatever it just, and then Monica like reposted it, so I don’t know if they’re cool.
I don’t know if they have since gotten back together. I can’t imagine they did. But that whole thing again, just like with Tyler and Ashley, Tyler said, I don’t want to bring this up to Ashley on camera and he didn’t, but then she wanted to talk about it on camera. After he told her the Steven and Monica thing, Monica catching him and seeing those text messages on his phone was never shown.
We just all of a sudden knew they were in a fight. And then as they sat down and talked to each other, we realized what the fight is over. Why aren’t we, why aren’t we catching the moments where they actually get caught doing something? I want to see those, but yeah, I was kind of surprised. Not that I thought Steven and Monica should try and work things out.
I was just surprised that that was the last of them and everybody, the entertainment sites are reporting. Maybe the entertainment sites don’t know that we are going to see them and. One of the last three episodes, we are going to get a final conversation with them, or I, I don’t know. Monica went on Nick Vial’s podcast yesterday, and then he teased it again today.
She’s on again today because obviously Nick had her on yesterday, not knowing what was being released in yesterday’s episodes. So apparently she’s going to be on again today and she’s going to talk about it. And I’m sure she’s going to give clarification of, yeah, we’re on. That was it. I don’t know. It was just weird for me when I was watching it.
I didn’t think they were over. I thought we were gonna, because he said, I’m just gonna leave you alone now. And I thought, okay, well, because that was end of episode eight. I thought, okay, in episode nine, we’ll revisit them. Nothing. They didn’t bring it up. So I’m like, okay, well, yeah, I guess they are done. I just thought there would be a little more finale to it.
Finality to it, but I guess not. And other stuff to talk about with love is blind. I’ll bring it up in tomorrow’s podcast. Survivor good episode last night. Pretty amazing that Genevieve was a mastermind. She was literally a ghost for the first three episodes. And if you go on survivor fact checker, she had three confessionals in the first three episodes total.
And then last night, she’s the mastermind behind Rome and Saul. Two guys that absolutely hate each other, getting them to vote together to get Keyshawn out. That was pretty, pretty savvy of her to do. I look, we can only go off the edit, but Rome is somebody that is the typical contestant on the show that I never like just people that think they’re running the game and people that talk about how well they’re running the game.
Never seemed to win in my eyes. It just doesn’t seem to happen. And Rome thinks he’s in such a good spot and he’s used his steal a vote already. He’s used his idol. I just think he’s going to rub too many people the wrong way. There’s no way that guy wins. And he probably goes home in the next three or four episodes.
But yeah, people like him, it’s just like, they think they’re so good at everything. And then he embarrasses himself on that puzzle. It’s like, okay. And finally, I want to wrap with this. This happened the other day, either late Tuesday, I think late Tuesday night is when the it never made front page. It wasn’t a top story on any of the entertainment sites, but.
Actor Nicholas Pryor passed away I believe at the age of 89. And for those that don’t know, Nicholas Pryor played chancellor Arnold on Beverly Hills, 902 and oh, he was the chancellor at CU. He was Claire’s dad. He also had the fish on in the movie airplane, the first movie. Remember people got sick by eating the fish.
He was one of the first people to get sick on the plane, but I’ll always remember him as chancellor Arnold. What maybe a lot of you don’t know and. Maybe a lot of you don’t even remember Chancellor Arnold because you gave up on Beverly Hills 902 and you didn’t watch the college years but if you watch the college years, you obviously know who Claire is her dad on the show and His wife in real life was the woman who played Steve Sanders mom on the show Samantha Sanders That was his wife in real life.
So she was on the show before he was and then he got cast as Chancellor Arnold I don’t know how many of you knew that Maybe some of you did, maybe some of you didn’t. I just wanted to throw that in, but obviously, losing another member of the Beverly Hills 90210 family, I’m always going to bring up, because this is a show, and, you know, as I say that, I’m watching, I told you, I’ve been updating you on what’s happening on the BH90210 restored Instagram account, and yesterday was The clip I’ve literally waited almost 10 or 15 years to watch again.
And that is the Google dolls performing on the Queen Mary for Steve’s birthday. And all three of those clips came up yesterday. They performed three different songs and those songs are not in any of the original they’re not in the DVD. They’re not on any of the DVDs. And if you try and look at the streaming, those episodes aren’t even in the streaming.
So that’s why I love what BH 90210 restored Instagram account does. They clearly have, I guess, VHS of these episodes and they’re just transferring them over to digital and, you know, giving us, now they’re giving us usually two to three scenes a day. They’re on my favorite season, season six and the season finale.
I mean, so much is going on Steve’s birthday on the queen Mary. They’re trying to find Colin. Who’s trying to flee the country. And we got the Google dolls performing. You got the whole thing with Prince Carl and Steve Sanders. We’ve got the last clip that they showed last night was Susan Keats informing Brandon Walsh that she took the job to work at campaign 96.
You took the job. You took the job. My gosh, Brandon Walsh looked like he was going to hit Susan Keats in that room when he said that, I mean, right in her face, literally almost yelling at her. I think that was the angriest we’ve ever seen Brandon on this show. And, and then, you know, he leaves the room, he ends up.
You know, and this is right after Steve punched Prince Carl and Claire says she doesn’t want to see him. So now Steve and Brandon go drown their sorrows at a peeler bar in long beach and they see Colin there and they end up catching him. We’ll see that in today’s clips. Probably season six, one of my favorite all time seasons and rest in peace to Nicholas Pryor, AKA chancellor Arnold.
