What’s up, everybody? Welcome to podcast number 418. I am your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in. Good, good show for you today. First time guest. You’ve probably seen her floating around on your 4U page if you’ve watched any Love is Blind clips and you’ve been following Love is Blind post show with all the drama.
She is the fake TikTok journalist, according to Ashley And Tyler, you can find her at story time with Ricky on tick talk. It is Ricky wise. First time appearance. You’re going to love hearing from her today as we break down the love is brined season seven drama. And we’ll get to all that momentarily. So yeah, before we get to that.
Just wanted to say that two great interviews today, my daily roundup posted two hours ago. It’s in your podcast feed and this particular podcast again with Rachel Juarez, but. There’s a reason we’re bringing her on again is because she read Gingras’s appellate brief that was filed last week in the Clayton Eckerd, Laura Owens case.
She goes over everything. And I think she’s the best lawyer out there right now, discussing this online. Not to say that others aren’t doing a good job. I’m just saying, I think she’s the best. I’m a little biased. She explained it very easily and she gives her thoughts and it’s not all. Gingras sucks. He’s the worst.
It’s terrible. What is this guy doing? She actually says. She can see and agrees with some of the things that he argued in his appellate brief. Does that ultimately mean she thinks he’s going to win it? You’ll have to listen and see, but it’s not one sided. It is very unbiased. And I told you when I first brought her on, well, when we first brought her on, it was about the Devon stuff.
And at the very end, we talked about the Laura Owens case and she didn’t even know there had been a trial. She had heard about the Clayton and Laura, and that guy that got a girl pregnant or whatever. She had no idea that a trial had even taken place. Well, ever since then, she’s immersed herself in this stuff.
I text with her almost daily. I send her all the updates, and she has read all of the motions, or not all of them, because there’s been so many in the last 15 months, but very, very, very, very, very much. A lot of the motions that have been filed in this case. So she is up to date on everything. It’s not just, Oh, I watched the trial and I read Mata’s decision.
And I know what Gingras has been saying. No, she has really got herself immersed in this case. So I think her information. And her opinions come from a very, very unbiased view as someone who is a family law attorney herself. And you know what? Even if you’re sick of the Clayton Laura Owens case, you’re like, when is this going to go away?
Well, probably not for a while because Clayton’s team has 30, 30 days to respond to this appellate brief. And then what happens from there? Once that happens, then the appellate court takes however long. Well, I think, I think Gingras then has to respond to their response and then the appellate brie the appellate judges, the three appellate judges, which we also talk about, then they make their decision, but we don’t know when that’s going to be.
They don’t have any, they can make it in a six months from now. So there won’t be a lot going on in terms of the case. I’m sure Gingras will use that time. And Laura, who has started her podcast and Gingras on his YouTube channel. I’m sure they’re going to get online and tell people how great they are and they’re going to win, but it’s not going to have any effect on anything.
But the bottom line is there isn’t much to talk about until Woodnick responds and his firm responds to this appellate brief, and then we’ll have Rachel on again to talk about it. But as I was saying, even if you’re so sick of the Clayton, Laura Owens case, if you’re just a fan of. The legal system in general, or if you like true crime cases.
I mean, that’s what this is turned into. This isn’t, you know, I think people get misguided and thinking that, Oh, it’s just a case about, Oh, what happened? I mean, she, okay. So she wasn’t pregnant. What’s the big deal? Like it goes so deeper than that. And that’s why it’s being pitched as a documentary. That’s why Laura Owens is being criminally investigated by the state of Arizona.
It’s not just, Oh, this girl tried to coerce a guy into being with her by saying she was pregnant when she really wasn’t. No, no, no, no, no. It goes so much deeper than that. She wouldn’t be being investigated for criminal prosecution. If it didn’t go deeper than that, the judge recommended it. So, Rachel does an excellent job today going over Gingras’s appellate brief that he filed last week.
So that’s on the Daily Roundup. Today, talking to Rikki Wise, who started showing up all over my For You page on TikTok because she has been the one, along with Reality Ashley, who have spoken to and done interviews with Tyler’s baby mama. And I kind of brought Ricky on today because I know the bare bones about it.
I’ve seen the clips that show up that she posts, but I wanted her to answer questions that I had because she has spoken directly with Bri and she has spoken directly with members of Bri’s family, exes of Tyler’s. And it’s really, really fascinating. It almost kind of delves into Laura Owens territory in terms of what Tyler is saying and what he’s claiming in all this.
It is just bizarre. His behavior is bizarre. If you didn’t know this, he had his first public podcast that he did yesterday. I didn’t see it. Ricky was the one that told me he did it. And all of a sudden it’s getting a lot of run. And basically Tyler is not owning up to anything and it’s just amazing. And Ricky and I sit here and just kind of shake our heads at what he’s doing in all of this.
Basically, well, I don’t want to give away the interview. If you know what Tyler said on the podcast yesterday, great. Oh, you’re so welcome. for having me. All
right. So let’s get into it right away. Before we get into talking about the drama this season on love is blind. I want you to give people a little bit background on how story time with Ricky came about your background.
What made you get into Ted talk? What made you get into covering the show? How it all started for you with this?
Oh, okay. So I like to refer myself to myself as a reality TV correspondent. So I do have a background in journalism. I do have a degree in journalism. It’s always been a passion of mine but I’ve never went the traditional route because I do like, sharing my personal opinion.
And I know with a lot of, you know, Media outlets, you are not allowed to do that. So that’s why I appreciate the TikTok platform because I am able to insert my opinion that I think resonates a lot with my audience. So I started my TikTok to primarily do dating story times just about my personal life.
And I did. One video where I was like, Oh, love is blind was on. And I was like, these are the men that I would date from the show. And the video kind of took off. So I said, Oh, there’s an interest in this show. So I did another video about the show, just like kind of recapping my thoughts on the episode. And then that video took off.
And they just kept taking off on this show. So I said, okay, this is clearly a lane that people like. People like to hear me talk about this show give my recaps, give my opinion. And then it transitioned into people coming to me to share their stories of things that they knew about cast members behind the scenes.
So that’s also been another avenue of, of my platform is sharing what’s going on behind the scenes and like making sure that I get the most accurate tea. That’s out there.
So you are the reality, Steve of love is blind, essentially, because that’s essentially what happens to me. People want to come to me and tell me about.
The contestants on the batch from the bachelorette and, you know, I have to vet them out, make sure it’s just not somebody that’s a scorned X and this is legitimate and stuff like that. So it’s really, that’s, that’s really cool that you do that for love is blind. Now, when did the love is blind? Where you were doing it as a seasonal thing.
What season did it start with you doing this?
Just season three. I’ve been only on Tik TOK for two years, so it’s all very new, very recent. It’s all happened very fast. So myself and reality, Ashley are like the go to tea spillers of love is blind for the bachelor and bachelorette.
And honestly, my background, just to let you know, is I’ve only seen six and seven.
Yeah. I probably, I know the names of the other people that past seasons, I’ve heard them just, just from being on enough to entertainment sites and reading that stuff, you’ll hear names come across and stuff like that, but I’ve only watched the last two seasons and it wasn’t until this season when my for you page started blowing up, you started appearing on my for you page on tick tock all the time and I’m like, This is really good stuff.
This is exactly what I do just in the bachelor world. So this is really cool. I like content creators who do this. So obviously there’s a lot to get to and your main focus, I guess, this season and even post show has been all the Tyler and Ashley stuff and just from the outside, I know some of the things that you’ve reported, I did watch a brides.
I’ve been calling her breathe the whole time, but I guess I’ve been you know, I watched brides five Instagram feed posts in regards to. Everything that was going on with Tyler. This was after, no, before they had recorded when she released those Instagram posts, it was before they had filmed the, no, after they had already filmed the reunion show, but it hadn’t aired.
Correct. Okay. So I saw that and I’m like, The fuck is this guy going to say for himself on the reunion? But then obviously the reunion aired and he didn’t have to address any of it because they had already filmed the reunion. So my first question to you is how did the bri stuff land in your hands? Did you reach out to her?
Did she reach out to you? And then how much of convincing did it take for her? To come on your Tiktok and do an interview with you. Was it a lot of arm wringing or was it, she was like, no, I want to get this out there.
Yeah. So, so the way that it landed in my lap is typically how it works is like, you know, I hear.
I hear, I heard rumblings, right? That he has these three children, but I noticed like there’s no pictures of them. There’s, there’s, there’s just people saying that he had three children. Mind you, this was very early on in the season that these rumblings started coming out. So the episodes hadn’t even aired where he tells Ashley that he’s this donor, but I knew, I knew that he was going to say this narrative.
On TV, because I already knew what was going to happen on the season. So I said, okay, I need to get pictures of these children. I need to make sure he actually has children. So that was like, kind of like my first video. And then I saw the grandmother posting pictures and stuff. So I said, let me talk to her.
Right. So the grandmother was my first point of contact to where I’m. She’s sharing things with me and I’m saying, you know, would your daughter talk to me? I would love to talk to her. The bride did not want to talk to me. Bri really was trying to take the high road. She was really trying to give Tyler the benefit of the doubt.
She really did not want to expose any of this. At this time, Tyler was still telling her, you’re going to, you know, I’m going to clear everything up at the reunion. Don’t worry about it. Like, and she was, you know, Believing him, honestly, she was, she was really trying to give him that benefit of the doubt to clear everything up and trust his word.
And so I think, because I knew what was going to happen at the reunion already I’m telling her like, he does not clear it up at the reunion. Like he’s manipulating you. Like, And so she finally said, oh, well, you know, if he’s going to clear it up at the reunion, then me releasing these videos is only going to match what he says at the reunion.
Because what I’m saying is, is true. She did not want to speak with me. It took, I, I spoke with everyone around her, her, her fiance. Her ex wife, her mom teachers like everyone else involved in the situation to where they said, Hey, like where they kind of convinced her, Hey, you should, you should talk to this girl.
Like she is very well aware of what’s going on and it would be beneficial to speak with her. So then at that point, once she’s seen the reunion and she saw that everything I told her was going to happen. What happened and that he didn’t clear it up. That’s when she came to me and said, okay, I’m ready to, to, to talk because he lied to me, he didn’t clear it up at the reunion and he did exactly what you said he was going to do.
So the five Instagram posts that she released, those were done before she did the interview with you, correct?
Yes.
All right. So when she released those five posts, the biggest thing that I took out of it was number one, the first child was. A sperm through a sperm donation because her and her ex fiance at the time, or was she married to the
ex wife?
She
was married to her at the time,
and
she said they wanted to have a child together. They used Tyler’s sperm
the
2nd 1. she said. Well, the twins happened through sex. They just decided to hook up. And so as far as I know now, I haven’t seen every interview of Tyler or Ashley. Ashley obviously went on bio files, which we’ll get to as well, because by the way, I have a very longstanding feud with Nick Bial.
So, through everything, I still not have heard Ashley or Tyler address the fact that the twins were through sex. Like, has she, unless I missed something, has Ashley addressed it? Has Tyler said, He’s still going with the sperm babies for all three
did okay, this is what’s ridiculous So he just did a his he spoke out for the first time today the interview dropped today and the internet is going crazy because the host Tried to ask him in several different ways if the twins were conceived naturally and he Is Implied that Bri and her ex wife saved vials of his sperm and used them because they wanted to extend their family.
Now, mind you, both Bri and her ex wife have both publicly, I’ve spoken to both of them, have both said that she had nothing to do with the twins. They were separating during that time. Tyler is Has come up with this brand new narrative that the ex wife and her rekindled and were trying to expand their family and saved vials of his sperm.
And that’s where the twins came from. And the host did ask him out, right? Like, were the, why is she saying that the twins were conceived naturally? And he hopped around it. He skipped around. He, he said, He said, Oh, would anybody be feeling sympathetic for her? If she would have said that they weren’t conceived naturally.
That’s what he said. He didn’t answer the question. He didn’t answer the question. He jumped all around it. He skipped all around it. It said, Oh, well, would anybody be feeling bad for her? If, if she said they weren’t conceived naturally. So, and again, host didn’t hold his foot to the flame and ask him directly.
Were you having sexual relations with, with Rye? So they saved vials of his sperm. And then used it later as if she has some type of secret sperm bank in her garage.
Yeah, that, that took a turn that I didn’t expect. I didn’t know that answer was coming from him. Okay. So that doesn’t really answer the thing, but it does in my eyes that this guy still is not owning up to it.
You know, it’s like almost one of these things where, I mean, obviously you’ve spoke to bribe, you spoke to people around her. Is there, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I’m just trying to play devil’s advocate here. Is it any way that that is true? What Tyler is saying, or are you convinced they absolutely decided?
I don’t know if it was a drunken night. I don’t know if they openly both decided, Hey, let’s try and have a baby. Like this encounter that produced the two twins when they conceived twins that time. I got the impression through Bryce videos that this was not, obviously wasn’t planned, but once she got pregnant, she wasn’t going to give them up.
Is that accurate?
Yes, they were not planned. And I, even when I spoke with her, she says they were a mistake, not meaning them themselves are mistakes. She meant that her getting pregnant was on accident. They were not trying to have children there. She wasn’t trying to have more babies. Like she just got pregnant.
She even considered terminating the pregnancy. And when she found out it was twins, she decided not to move forward with her forward with the termination and that Tyler supported this decision and they Decided to move forward as parents. So, In his interview again today, he tried to hone in on the fact that Bri called her children mistakes.
And I’m like, that’s not what she was saying. She was saying that her getting pregnant was a mistake. It was, she got pregnant on accident. Hence you guys had sex and she got pregnant. And you know, I think like, because Bri identifies as a lesbian, that is not a detail that she wanted to share. So to imply that she’s lying about it, like she just said it just because it sounds good is ridiculous.
Like you can tell that that is a detail that she, It was very challenging for her to share that detail. Even her ex wife said her saying it on her Instagram was the first time she’s ever heard Bri admit to being intimate with Tyler.
Now this intimacy with Tyler that ended up conceiving twins. Was this at a time where she was trying to get back with him?
Were they having sex over a continuous months? And one of the times happened to end up in a pregnancy. What, what was the reason that she has given Either you or in those videos, which I don’t remember every detail of the reason for her. Just was it a drunken hookup? Was it one time? What was the reasoning for it?
So I did not ask details on their sexual relationship because I knew that it was a detail that she wasn’t. Proud of so I didn’t want to pry and say, were you guys having an ongoing sexual relationship? But from my understanding, it would appear that they were having on going sexual relationships. But again, that is not a detail that I asked, right?
Because for me the relevance of it is not important. Rather, they were continuously sleeping together or slept together. One time, the fact of the matter is you guys slept together and you got pregnant and you guys have children.
And so she was divorced from her wife at this point. And how old was the first child at this point when she got pregnant with the twins?
He was one she was not, not divorced officially, but separated. And the wife was already moved back to a different state. And they were not together. So, Tyler to imply that. The wife came back around and they wanted to extend their family after they’ve had this ongoing custody battle for their first child and now you’re telling the world that They got back together and wanted to extend their family is a it’s a bold faced lie That I that he probably just made up today for this podcast
