All right, moving on. Let’s talk about last night’s episode of the 30 toss episode. Number, I don’t know what it was. Five. Yeah. Five. Here’s a question I have about the traders. I’ve already told you, I think the missions are stupid. The missions don’t add anything to the show. I think it’s dumb. Yes, I know it, I understand it gives people shields.
Sometimes it gives multiple people shields. Six to eight people. Last night it gave two people shields. But, the missions themselves, I don’t think really add much to the show. And here’s my question. I already thought that there was a 250, 000 prize for winning this show. So, what What does it matter how much money they bank?
Is it, Hey, over the course of the season, if you end up banking enough money and it surpasses 250, 000, then that’s what you’re going to end up playing for. Or if they never reached two 50 during the season, Hey, you’re still playing for two 50. Is that what it is? I thought there was a set prize of 250, 000 for this.
So. What does it matter on the missions? Unless you can build on that two 50 and anything you get over it is still part of the pot. Maybe that’s it. And it’s like, okay, but then again, the downside is it really doesn’t matter how bad you do in missions. If the base prize is two 50 and that’s not changing no matter what you do on missions.
So I have that question. Here’s the other question that I have, and I might reach out to Rachel Riley, who was on season one of the traders. She was on about. Five months ago, six months ago. But now that traders is back up in full force. I might bring her on next week to talk about this. So maybe, you know, this, maybe you don’t in terms of the filming of the traders at the end of the night, when they’re all saying goodnight to each other and they’re walking upstairs, I can tell you right now, nobody sleeps in the castle.
They don’t all walk upstairs and go to bed and bachelorette, because clearly if people get up in the middle of the night, they’ll be like, yeah, I got to go leave for a couple hours. I got to go film something. People are going to know who the traders are because they got up out of their room, even if they put them in separate rooms in the same mansion or the same castle, you would think there’d be a way to people find out, Oh, I heard somebody, somebody get up last night and I saw them walking out or whatever, but they don’t sleep in that castle.
They don’t sleep. When they say they’re going to bed and I’ll talk to you later. See you tomorrow. They don’t go to bed in that castle. They’re just, when you see them in bed or see them on the couch, reading a book before bed or something like that, that’s just shot to make you think they do every single one of them goes to a hotel.
Now, here’s my question. If every single one of them goes to a hotel, I’m kind of thinking the same thing I would be if they were all staying in the castle at night, if they all go back to the same room every single night that they’re all staying in at the same hotel. Well, wouldn’t people notice, Hey, I heard somebody leave last night to go film the scene where they film at the bell tower, the traders, Rob and Danielle and Carolyn, somebody has to either hear or see them leave, right?
I can’t imagine every single person is in a different hotel. That would constitute having 21 hotels in the area to put one person in. So I don’t think that’s it. I’m just thinking out loud here. My guess would be. They’re in the same hotel, but every single night they’re in a different room. Because if they’re in the same room, then you would be able to gather who’s getting up every night to go to the bell tower.
And not only do they change rooms every night, nobody that goes to their room knows who’s in any other room. That’d be the only way you’d be able to keep it. I got to ask Rachel this. She would know, but that’s, that’s my thinking out loud on this is even if they’re all staying in the same hotel every night, You can’t possibly know, or the contestant should not be allowed to know, Hey, I’m in room 12, what room are you in?
Oh, I’m down the hall in 16. They might hear, the person in room 15 or 17 might hear the person in room 16 get up every night. And it, like I said, the thing with the castle, it’s like, okay, I’m going to bed. If everybody’s actually really going back to hotel, which they are, but Carolyn, Rob and Danielle are staying behind.
Wouldn’t everybody think like, wait a second, why aren’t Carolyn, Rob and Danielle coming with it? So there’s gotta be a way they hide it. I just want to know what that answer is. I want to know how they’re hiding it. I just want to throw that out there. Something to think about when it comes to the traders.
Tyler from love is blind has responded after Ashley came out two days ago and said, we are broken up and. Here’s my statement, Tyler responded with his statement saying as many of you have seen Ashley has shared the news of our decision in our marriage This has been incredibly difficult emotional process for both of us is when we approach with great care and respect for one another While our journey together began with so much hope and love we came to realize that there were challenges we could not overcome I take full accountability for my role in the difficulties we faced and I respect Ashley’s decision to move forward in a way that prioritizes her peace and happiness He said, Ashley’s an incredible woman, nothing but admiration and gratitude for the love and support she has given me.
And he said, I asked for kindness and understanding as an ad pops up on the screen. I asked for kindness and understanding as we both move forward separately, focusing on healing and growing. Okay. He takes full accountability for his roles and the difficulty they faced, but to the public, he doesn’t tell us any of those.
So how do we know that he did take accountability and what accountability did he take? Like, look, dude, we’ve all known this. Since your ex started talking to the TikTok accounts, why is it taking you a few months after that happened for this? And maybe it was because Ashley was covering for you at the time.
Whatever the case may be, I mean, come on. We know this was coming. Nobody is surprised that we saw this coming. And for him to say I take full accountability for my role and the difficulties we face, that’s great and all, but what, what did you take accountability for? That’s what everyone wants to know. My guess is now that they’re divorced, one of these two, if not both are going on a podcast within the next couple of months.
And my guess is Ashley will be the first one. And Ashley eventually right now, she says, give us peace. So it’d be really. Kind of bad etiquette if right after she releases her statement saying, let me basically grieve in private if she goes on a podcast next week and torches the guy, but let me tell you something right now, Ashley’s going on a podcast at some point and she is going to reveal what went on and when she knew things and how Tyler portrayed it to her versus what reality was.
She’s going to do it. It’s probably just going to be a couple of months down the line. There’s no way she doesn’t. Hell, she’d be one of the more popular interviews to get in the podcast world to do an interview like that. And it’s going to be funny because when she does torch him, which I think is coming, it basically, you can almost.
Put a video in front of her, stick an iPad in front of her and say, Hey Ashley, but when the show was airing, look at what you were doing, sitting on Nick Bial’s couch, basically just lying to the public. So yeah, that’s probably why she’s taking some time because she knows she’s probably eating a lot of crow after what she said post show, I think eventually she will start talking and I don’t think as much as she says, like I respect Tyler and the love we had for each other.
She’s going to come after him. I would be shocked if she didn’t. Again, I can’t remember if last week I spoke about part one of the challenge reunion. I don’t think I ever got around to it either way. I’ve now watched both reunion shows and the challenge reunion shows are becoming very, very overrated.
You expect all this tea, you expect everyone to come down on the other person and a bunch of shit talking happening. And it just ends up really falling flat because a lot of these people say I’m one way in the game and one way outside the game. So whatever you saw on TV while we were filming that show.
Yeah, this happened. This happened. I said this, I said that, but Hey man, no hard feelings. It’s a game. We’re trying to win money. We’re trying to win. I’m going to do what I can to win. So you can only have so much shit talking at the end of all this. I just thought it was a waste of almost three hours, hour and a half last week, hour and a half this week.
It was just like, okay. I just didn’t think it was very good. I don’t think I re I think I learned a lot. These people talk way more stuff on podcasts and social media than they do on the reunion shows. And when they do get off on the reunion shows, a lot of it is edited. Like, this whole idea of, hey, we want you to throw a beanbag at a target, and then that target has to answer a question.
Like, the most useless segment that this reunion show has ever thought of. Because they’re all planned out, they know who’s throwing a beanbag at who, it’s not like, ooh. And then like, the one on yesterday or on Wednesday night show. Corey wasn’t there. So he had Rachel throw beanbag and she threw it at Josh.
And so Josh had to answer a tough question. Who would he throw in the sand between Rachel and Tori? And everyone’s like, Ooh. And To, and he said, oh, between Rachel and Tori I’d throw Tori in the sand. And Tori’s like, yep, I threw him in, I would expect no, I would expect nothing less in return. We’re all good.
And then they literally went to the next segment and the next bit. Right after she said that, I was like, great, so what was the point of all that? That’s what I mean, it’s like, they tease so much, and then when they deliver it’s just like, oh, that fell flat. And finally, you know one of my things, I’ve talked about it on this podcast before.
Is when I have a Vegas trip coming up, especially a big one, whether it’s my annual one with my guy friends in September or my party trip, or even in my March madness trip, I tend to just get on this, this kick of always checking in and always going over my. Confirmation numbers and making sure my pricing, even though I have everything written down, making sure my pricing hasn’t changed, even though it hasn’t because it’s locked in.
So yesterday it started. We are less than five months away from my party. And I made my first call to the Mandalay Bay about room situation and stuff like this for the party weekend. And something that I’ve noticed, and this is not just Vegas. This is not just Mandalay Bay. This is literally every single customer service person.
And I’m sure this only, not only happens to me, this happens to all of you, right? Please confirm this. And if you are a customer service person, please confirm that you’re pulling this stunt on us, the callers. Every time I call. A customer service person, whether it’s a hotel, whether it’s a bank and you’re on hold and you talk to a banking agent, whatever the case may be every single time without fail, at some point during the call, the person who’s in customer service that is talking to me will say, yeah, I’m sorry.
Computer’s going real slow today. And it’s like, I don’t understand that because every computer. Of every customer service rep I’ve ever talked to has said that to me at some point during a call, and I’m sure has to you as well. They always say that. So I guess my, my question is what is that about stalling you?
You’re a slow typer. So you have to say that to keep the person on the line. Every single time. Oh, sorry. Computers are real slow today. It’s just at this point, I just roll my eyes. I should sometimes there’ve been a couple of times where I’ve just been, I’ll admit it, I’ve been a dick on the phone and I’ve just been, no, no, it’s not.
I’ve just said that I haven’t really followed it up with anything, but I’m just like, I’m just like, yeah, no, no, it’s not. I get it. And I just kind of move on. I don’t hang up. I’m just saying, I, I just say, cause I’m just so sick of hearing it. Because there’s so many different customer service people that I’ve spoken to in my lives in so many different forms of workplaces that I’ve called banks, hotels, airlines.
It’s always sorry, the computers are moving real slow here today. I don’t know. It’s 2025. Maybe you get better internet service. I don’t know. It’s just, I know it’s not true. I’m just wondering why do they always say it? Why is that their go to line to keep you on the phone? I’m not hanging up. I called you for a particular reason.
I want my problem solved and I know it’s not because your internet is slow. Anyway. Anybody have an answer for me? I’d really appreciate it. Please, if you work in customer service, tell me why you tell me that line every time I call. Thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple Podcasts.
Also, rate and review, but you got to hit play. It’s the only way it counts as a download. Sports Daily will be up in an hour from now if you want to check that out. Again, thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it. Have a great weekend, everybody. And I will talk to you on Monday. See.
