The biggest news in bachelor nation dropped maybe. 30 minutes before the episode aired last night and that was Alex Cooper from call her daddy putting out a 7 second teaser video showing that Rachel Kirkconnell is going to be on call her daddy tonight They’ve obviously already recorded it.
It drops tonight on call her daddy’s YouTube channel at 9 p. m Eastern Time everybody’s gonna be watching it and everybody is going to be commenting on it tomorrow, which I will as well Here’s what I’ll say. I didn’t even know this was coming When I suggested this last week or whenever the Rachel and Matt breakup happened, I said, you know what she should do?
She should go and call her daddy. It’s the second most downloaded podcast out there. I guarantee Alex Cooper would have her on. This is a major, major story, a major, major breakup. That’s the place to go. She should go there. I’m not saying she listened to me. I have no idea if Rachel McConnell listens to anything that I say.
Actually, I take that back for this particular suggestion that I had, I had no idea if this was my doing hell, she might’ve recorded that before I even said that I have no idea when it was recorded. We all know it’s going down tonight at 9 PM. Easter time. Now, a lot of you have asked. What do you think’s happening?
What are you hearing? What do you, what do you think she’s going to say? All I’m going to say is this I don’t have any insight to this interview But my opinion is if Rachel Kirkconnell is going on call her daddy’s podcast She’s not going on there to say Yeah, the relationship just ran its course, it was amicable, we’re good.
I’m sorry, that’s not what we’re getting on this podcast tonight. I’d be stunned if that’s what she chose to reveal to call her daddy. We will wait it out, we will see exactly what she says. If it was anything salacious, how much detail does she go into? Sure, I’ve heard things. But let Rachel speak tonight and we’ll take it from there.
I’m just saying, I’d be stunned. If she went on, call her daddy to say, yeah, it was tough, you know, five years with somebody you wish they would propose and he didn’t. And I just felt it was time to move on. I think she’s going on there to say something fairly important and to talk in somewhat detail of why they are no longer together.
And I just don’t think it’s because they grew apart. And after five years, she wanted an engagement and he didn’t. So she ended it. That may be the reason of the breakup, but I do think that there’s more to it. I really do because she’s going on call her daddy. Alex Cooper is not hyping this interview and having only the fifth person in bachelor nation history on her podcast to go on there and say.
Amicable breakup, we’re all good, we still love each other, that’s not happening, sorry. And put it this way, if for some reason that is what we get, that’ll be a huge disappointment to I think a lot of people. But, it’s her reality, if that’s what happened, that’s what happened. I’m just saying, I don’t think that’s what happened.
Jason Tardik. Went on a podcast and talked about his breakup with Kat Stickler for the first time. He said it was so abrupt and it was so unexpected. Then what I was hearing, these things I’m hearing publicly about speculation of what happened, I’m just sitting in my house like pulling my hair out like you got to be kidding me.
That was like a really tough month, a really, really, really tough month. He said fans immediately want to know why and they want to point the finger adding that people quote want to take sides and pin people against each other. Everyone goes through breakups. It is what it is and breakups happen. This is why you date.
If you have a sudden change of heart, she’s not to blame for that. That’s okay. So that’s basically Jason telling us Kat ended it. Ended it very quickly. Ended it very unexpectedly and had a sudden change of heart because it seems like he’s being honest here and answering why they broke up and he literally just said, this is why you date if you have a sudden change of heart, she’s not to blame for that.
That’s okay. He also went on to say it’s really no one’s business what happened, but I will say. I’ve seen and heard every rumor out there, and none of them are accurate. If you put a gun to my head, I would never, ever be disloyal to her. I have a ton of respect and care for her. I was going to go to Tampa, and that no longer became a reality.
Another answer that pretty much points to the fact that she ended the relationship. It looks like Jason was ready to move to Tampa for her and her daughter. And She ended it. We don’t know why maybe cat will do a podcast where she gives the reason why she did. Maybe there isn’t a reason other than, I don’t know, just wasn’t feeling it with him.
And I have no idea clearly by those answers and him saying this, following it up with this, that synopsis, it made my heart drop into my stomach. It’s a little sad, honestly, because all those things I wanted were on the trajectory of happening. And then it all went away when we were talking about. Having a partner in life and having Children said all the things I predicted happened and we’re on the path to be Now, as we look in January, I’m right back where I started.
I almost shed a tear. Honestly, it was like sad hearing that back. Probably the third answer he gave in that podcast where it clearly shows he wasn’t the one that ended things in this. It was cat. Why she did it. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if she ever chooses to answer why. And finally, Ben Higgins said on his podcast, talking about his breakup with Lauren Bushnell at the time.
Now, Lauren Lane, he was talking about it because All Most Famous was having some past bachelors on leading up to Grant season, obviously Ben, the co host of that show was a former bachelor. He said, when the decision was made, I never looked back and had what ifs. It was always, it was how it was supposed to play out.
Obviously look at my life now. I was always very confident in whatever path was forward, but I am confused about that kind of last week on how that all went down the way it did. And he said that Ashley chimed in saying that she thought. Lauren was pretty convinced that you were having what ifs, and Ben said, I think that’s natural.
He said, I mean, I think that’s always the comparison. And then every interview you do post show, the questions are brought up comparing the two, meaning JoJo and Lauren, who he both said he loved at the end of the season. And so I think having those what ifs ideas are natural in that moment, especially coming off of it and watching it and seeing how conflicted I really was.
Because at that time, I felt like this is the biggest, hardest decision I’d ever make. I should never, I should have never, I don’t think it should ever be that hard. Like when you know, you know, right? Ashley asked him if he thinks he should have known in that moment that neither Bushnell or Jojo were the right match for him.
He said, I think that’s the only what if I ever had is like, why did I go through with any of it and not because it wasn’t great and real and fun and exciting, but it was like, it wasn’t right. It wasn’t the right thing. So. And then he talked about their relationship once they did get off the show and they were filming their television show that was on, I think the family channel or something like that.
He said, we were kind of more work associates. We were living in the same house. We weren’t really speaking to each other off camera because the cameras would leave at nine o’clock. We’d be exhausted. I might have to go into work the next day. She’d be doing her thing with her job. She was still flying as a flight attendant a little bit.
We’d just be like dead tired. We wouldn’t talk to each other. We hadn’t talked to each other really, truly in weeks. So yet again, another couple that had an image that was put out on social media. And it really wasn’t what their relationship was all about. Now I didn’t watch their show. I think it was called happily ever after.
But people who did watch that show told me these two aren’t going to make it. And I don’t know, I mean, it was so long ago. I don’t remember the details. I just remember hearing in that moment, Steve, have you ever been watching Ben and Lauren show these two look like they don’t like each other. I remember hearing that and now hearing Ben say we’d film until nine o’clock and we’d barely talk to each other.
In fact, we go weeks without talking to each other. It’s like, okay, I guess what I was hearing was true. And the people and the vibe that people were getting from the TV show of watching them live together. Apparently weren’t, they weren’t far off because that’s what they were saying to me at the time. I just never watched the show.
