I don’t know if anybody was paying attention to my Instagram story last night, but unfortunately I had to tell my dog Luca that I’m trading her and I’m trading her for three puppies.
It makes no sense. I know. Why would I give up on my dog? I’ve had her since August 18th of 2018. It’s been on six and a half years, seven and a half years. Why would I give up on my dog? She’s been nothing but loyal to me. She’s been nothing but. The greatest dog I could ever ask for, and she’s done everything I’ve asked of her.
But it’s time for me to just give up on her, and trade her away for a bag of nothing. Okay, if you didn’t understand that, and you don’t understand that I’m joking, I’m obviously not trading my dog away. But, I just had to. Because of what happened in Dallas this past weekend. Where the Dallas Mavericks traded a generational basketball player.
One of the top three players in the NBA. A player that literally put his team on his back last year and took him to the NBA finals. And then they traded him away and essentially got nothing in return. Not for what you should get for a generational top three player in the NBA who’s had five straight years of being first team all NBA and who’s only 25 years old.

Which is ironic, because these are the only two teams that I root for. A lot of you probably know, I’m a season ticket holder to the Mavericks. So this isn’t just, oh, I’m going to talk about a topic in sports. This is a topic that is very close and near and dear to me. I go to 10 to 12 Mavericks games a year.
I go to the playoff games. I have been in this town ever since Luca started with this team. I’ve got a lot of thoughts on what happened over the weekend. And actually my dog is not named after Luca. I adopted Luca in 2018. And when I went to the adoption page, that was her name. So the only other dog I ever had was Maddie.
I adopted her too. And that was her name on the adoption page. I just never changed it. So it’s not, I didn’t name my dog after Luca Donchic. That’s just her name. It’s just ironic. And I felt I needed to have a sit down with her last night. So go check out my Instagram stories. If you haven’t seen that yet, the Grammys last night.
I’m not really in touch with what’s going on in the music world right now. I hear a lot of the songs. I’m not very good at who the artist is or the title of the song. And a lot of the songs I hear are from things that I see on TikTok or things that I see on Instagram stories where people put music behind their stories.
So I’m not a huge fan of the Grammys. I didn’t watch any of it last night, other than Taylor Swift announcing. Who was the, what’s male country star of the year. And I saw that Beyonce won, but two things I want to talk about in regards to the Grammys. Okay. Number one, Kanye West and his wife, girlfriend.
I don’t even know if I think it’s his wife, Bianca. We’ve obviously seen at award shows. Usually more towards MTV because it’s cable. We’ve usually seen more risque outfits when it comes to MTV and award shows. And a lot of the women will push the envelope and, you know, either wear something totally outlandish or wear something incredibly revealing.
And you’re just like, Whoa, you could have a nip slip on that one. Kanye West’s wife slash girlfriend, Bianca, she literally showed up on the red carpet naked, except it was a sheer. Dress a nude sheer dress.
She didn’t have any pasties on. She might as well have walked the red carpet naked because she was naked. Now I didn’t zoom in on the picture. I saw the video and I saw a still shot. She came in on the red carpet with Kanye. She had a fur jacket on, she took it off and she had a nude sheer dress on that was completely see through.
As far as I know, she had no underwear on. I didn’t zoom in. Sorry. She turned around and faced everybody. And she had no pasties on her nipples. And as far as I know, she had no underwear on and you could see right through. So I guess two thoughts here. Number one, are we the least bit surprised that Kanye would do something like this?
I’m not, but number two, remember how the world literally freaked out when Justin Timberlake ripped off a piece of Janet Jackson’s dress at halftime of the Superbowl and even she had a pasty on her nipple at that time. And from that point forward, it just became just this television networks were getting fined anytime there was any sort of nudity.
I don’t know. It seems like that is not something that should have been shown. And I’m, the last thing I am is a prude. Far from it.
You know, I want to say what was the point of that, but we’re talking about Kanye here. So of course he’s going to do something outlandish. And the woman that he’s with is literally going to show up on the red carpet nude with nothing covering any of her body parts that need to be covered. When you’re walking the red carpet at a very classy event, whatever.
The other thing I wanted to talk about in regards to the Grammys was just, You know me, every time that there is a headline involving Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, You know how I love reading those and reading the stories and just being like, Oh my gosh, here it is, trying to talk sports where they have no idea what they’re talking about, right?
Did you see the headlines leading into the Grammys last night? This was on, I also saw it on two different major sites. Us Magazine, or Us Weekly, and Page Six out of New York. Both of them basically had the same headline. Why Travis Kelce won’t attend the Grammys with Taylor Swift. I understand that this is purely clickbait, and I understand all these news outlets, anytime they have a headline that has the names Travis Kelsey and or Taylor Swift in it, people are going to want to click on it.
But again, as a sports fan, the idea behind this headline is so utterly ridiculous. Like you didn’t have to click on the story to know what the answer to the headline was. Why Travis Kelsey won’t be attending the Grammys with Taylor Swift? Oh, I don’t know. He’s got a Super Bowl to prepare for? Do you understand how the NFL works?
Sunday night is usually the time when the team is flying in to the host Super Bowl city. And yes, yesterday, the Kansas City Chiefs flew into New Orleans and landed. It just, I’m just going to point it out. I just want to point it out because it’s so ridiculous and utterly stupid. And if any of you, I don’t even know if you have to be a football fan.
I mean, I guess maybe you kind of do, but I would think even somebody who’s not a football fan probably knows. That the Superbowl is coming up and Travis Kelce is playing for one of the two teams that’s playing in the Superbowl. All I’m saying is, I hope any of you that saw that headline on page 6 or Us Weekly over the weekend, I hope none of you clicked on it.
Seeing like, wait a second, why isn’t he gonna be there? Are they breaking up? Is he not supporting her? Please, please, please don’t tell me you clicked on that. Anyway, thank you all for listening.
