So
might be one of the worst comparisons I’ve ever heard. Yeah.
And the text, yeah. Yeah. And the text thread, I mean, the, the, the, he goes on to say, Oh, the, you know, the point of the paper is to take something that’s morally wrong and apply it to an extreme and see if it’s still morally wrong. And it’s like, I think any normal person, like an extreme is like.
You know, maybe robbing a bank or, you know what I mean? Or, you know,
not sexual assault.
That’s not where I think the average person’s mind goes to when you think of an extreme and you can see in the text thread that she is giving him some push back. Like she is like, how are you even trying to compare the two?
Like you’re essentially arguing that, you know, sexual assault during your sleep has like, it doesn’t negatively affect. The woman at all like that was the argument, you know, and he you see him in the text like getting upset that she’s not agreeing with him and they’re having this back and forth exchange where she’s like, how are you comparing taking someone’s food to like, sticking your thing in somebody unconscious?
Like, why is your mind, you know, so that’s kind of what the text. Thread shows is that she’s giving him some pushback. He tells her, I think you might have autism because you don’t agree with me. And my teacher’s smart. Like he’ll get it. Like, you know, but I think she was like, it was concerning that he would even think to make this argument.
So,
yeah, I’d say so.
Yeah. So when you
get all this and, and that was, that was the main two things with Alex, right. Or was there a third thing?
There was that, and then there was also another another female who he met on hinge in 2018, you know, expressed that he had confided in her about something about himself and yes.
And what he confided in about himself was something that he described himself allegedly as a mental illness. that he cannot control and he confided in her about this and it triggered her because she herself was sexually assaulted at a very young age. And so she would oftentimes hit him up and kind of go off on him a bit about how you know, how this has affected her and how he hasn’t considered her feelings and all of this.
And so we do see that text exchange as well. And another thing to note in the text exchange with the X is that she’s talking to him about being sexually assaulted at nine years old. And he asked her in the text thread, were you asking for it?
I did see that. And I was just like,
yeah,
yeah, Alex, it’s just the, you know, one of the worst parts about all this is he’s putting this in writing.
Yes. He’s his name, his own text. Like, yes. So, so that’s obviously a lot. And you know, when you put it out there, I’m just like, I cannot believe this guy. But there’s two things I want to ask in regards to it. Number one, once you came out with this earlier this week, did you hear from anybody? In the Alex Brown camp.
I’m guessing you didn’t hear from Alex. I’m guessing he watched
my, he watched my story. So I know he saw it. So I saw him view my Instagram story. Cause I reposted it to my story and I saw that he viewed it. No, I haven’t, I haven’t heard from anyone in his camp and
nobody’s, nobody’s even come to his defense and said, Hey, Ricky.
I know him. He’s a, you know, obviously the friend’s going to stick up for him. He’s a great guy. You’re all, you’re all wrong with this. Even though you provided receipts, nobody came to you and said, Hey, he’s a great guy.
No, I mean, I think I’ve had like a few random comments that are like trying to kind of minimize.
It’s like, Oh, like, okay, it was too long ago. Yeah. Yeah. Like, Oh, how dare you hold what he did in his twenties against him, even though he’s still in his twenties, like, about the high school parties. I was like, okay, well that’s only one element of it. Or like, okay, he wrote a paper for school. Like that doesn’t prove anything.
And it’s like, no, we’re not saying that it proves anything. It’s just establishing a pattern of. strange behavior. That’s all I said. I also said in the video that he’s never been formally charged with anything criminal that I wasn’t able to find any incident reports, any police reports. But I do believe that there is At least an incident report out there because I have a text thread of him panicking that the police are going to show up to his house because he like somebody called the police on him.
And something that came to light after I, I did my videos is, you know, in my original videos, I say, I don’t know what or why the police were called, but it seems like he was in some legal trouble. Another woman came forward and said, I think I know why. Okay. He, you know, the police were called because when I matched with him on Tinder in 2018, she was 17.
Alex would have been 23 at this time. He in text, and I haven’t even done a video on this, but I have the text of him telling her I was accused of sexual assault by one of my students at the school that I teach at. So I don’t want to hang out with you until you turn 18. In his words, those were his texts, his words that he said to someone else and the phone number is verified.
So he, unless he lied about that, which I don’t know why he would lie about that to someone, he himself said that he was accused and investigated for over a month for sexual assault and that there wasn’t enough evidence to convict him. So at the very least there’s an incident report out there and he was accused of it.
And that’s coming from him. And that came forward after I already made my videos. So that’s brand new tea for your listeners.
Was there a part of you that considered not running with any of this? Just because Alex is not one of the five remaining couples. Like he was done after the pods.
No, not, not because of his position on the show.
I think I, I hesitated touching it because it was, it’s heavy, it’s really heavy and, you know, I know that it could bring some legal backlash and, you know, him, you know, trying to take legal action, which I’m fully prepared for. Like, but like, the thing is, is that I also knew that this. an important story and I trusted me and I knew tha already being silenced.
P disregarding them. They w to them. And I know a lot to touch the story and any
Reddit threads or, oh, this, you know, these Facebook groups. And I said, well, you know, I, I’m not going to be scared to, to say the truth. You know what I mean? Or what I believe to be the truth or what, what, what is clearly being reflected with, you know, what’s being provided, these women were brave enough to come forward with their story and came providing all of the receipts that they could possibly find, like they’re digging through text messages from years just, you know, for the simple fact of like.
This guy’s on a national platform. He has more access, like he’s more dangerous now than he was when we knew him and like, just not on our watch. So I think that’s why I decided to. Come for it. Cause I thought it was important that people are like, know about this guy. And I’m very confused why he would put himself on a national platform like this, knowing that there’s these text messages, like clearly this is something that he needs to talk about.
And he does talk about with multiple women. If like so many women have texts concerning text threads with him, you know, so I’m not really sure why he would put himself on this platform and think that none of this was going to come out. So.
And we’re going to see him in today’s episode. He shows up at the dinner where they bring in singles from the pods
and he will be at the reunion.
They already filmed the reunion this past weekend. So, and he’s there and he,
did he, did he get the barely in? Or did that, did she give that to Mason? Did Madison give that to Mason or Alex? I keep forgetting.
Actually, I fast forwarded through a lot of news, but I think who got barely in, it was either Mason
or it was either Mason or Alex.
It
might’ve been Alex. It might’ve been Alex.
Alex was the one that Madison basically said, we’re boyfriend, you know, yeah, you’d be my girlfriend or we’re boyfriend girlfriend now. And then she went in and broke up with. With Mason. I do know, I don’t know for sure, but I’ve heard Madison take some at the reunion show.
They kind of dogpile on her.
Yeah. I heard the same that they,
which is really, I, Madison is probably, I mean, for someone who didn’t even make it to post pods, Madison’s the most interesting character, most interesting person on this season to me. I found her, I found her just in the pods, quite interesting in the way she handled herself.
I didn’t think that she’d. Really did anything wrong? Did she say something? I don’t
think, yeah. Did she say some things that were
like, risque? Well, sure, but Madison, I don’t know if you’ve followed her on Instagram, she did like a 50 question Q& A on Instagram story. And she just doesn’t take herself seriously like everybody else said, oh my God, you said cream pie in the pods.
You want a cream pie? She’s just like, yeah, I just said it. I don’t care. It’s like, right. I wasn’t asking for a cream, like a legit cream pie. I was just having fun, like Right. I think everyone takes it so seriously.
Everybody was so worried about their edit, and you can tell that Madison. You know, like she wasn’t being careful of what she said and like trying to get like this good edit and she got a lot of backlash and everyone thought that, you know, Alex was like, Oh my God, this, this golden boy and he stood up for himself and he’s like all of these things.
And it’s like, I, I think that was my first impression too, of him was like, like, no, he’s actually a red flag. Like he actually, you know, I don’t know. There’s something off about this guy. So for. All of like Madison dodged a bullet and I think that everyone owes her an apology to be to be quite honest and I think that if Netflix was smart, they would just disassociate themselves with that with him and move on.
I don’t know why they blindly defend their. Contestants without really knowing what’s going on. Like, I think if anyone would have talked to these women themselves and, you know, just hear what they had to say, like these women didn’t even know each other and they all have the same story. They don’t know, even know each other.
And they’re able to ping the location of the house. They didn’t even, you know, they don’t even know each other and don’t even know that each of them has showed me. Something that he confided in them about that aligns like, you know, so it’s kind of like, okay, like if you guys would know this, if you took the time to talk to them,
well, it’s, it’s really, really interesting because I’m looking at it from a casting perspective, everything that you said about Alex and everything that you found out in the receipts that you posted on your instagram story.
I’m just wondering if any of that. Is something that casting could have found out about during casting because clearly the thing is Alex isn’t good when he’s going through casting and they’re asking about exes. He’s certainly not going to say I said this and I wrote a paper on utilitarianism and I compare like he’s not going to admit that.
So how would casting ever know about
I feel like he’s self identified, allegedly self identified as a sociopath. And I feel like if you, if you, and that’s in a text to a text of him. Saying it’s not a bad thing to be a sociopath. So I do think that if they do psych evaluations, like you’re meaning to tell me that this man passed, however many psych evaluations that were given with no red flags, with no warnings, like I find that very hard to believe.
Yeah. So I guess that’s the part they wouldn’t have known these specific instances in the stuff that he said and all the stuff that you posted. But just how did this guy pass unless he’s just great at acting during the casting process and just didn’t let that side out or he was very careful in every single one of his answers not to lead them down a path that where they might think he was a sociopath.
I don’t know. I mean, I guess that’s the way I mean, clearly got on the show, so he somehow made it by, before we wrap up here. I mean, obviously there’s so much more and I would say it’s, I hate how Instagram stories don’t have a timer on it. Well, sometimes they do, but how long, how long was each one?
I watched them from beginning to end, but I was like, well, how many minutes am I at here? How long was each one? Each video that I posted,
I believe they were each eight minutes. Like, so yeah, like part one was eight minutes and part two was eight minutes and they were actually 10, but you know, I sped up the parts where I was reading the text and, but if I would have posted them on Tik TOK, they would have been 10 minutes each.
So, and I didn’t even expect that they would get. That long, and they’re not even it’s not even all of the information that I know. It’s just all the information that I could could show to kind of paint a picture and let people decide for themselves what they think, you know, happen.
No, I think it’s, it’s a, it’s a, like I said, I commend you for the research you did on this and the vetting that you did on this because it is very, very.
Detailed. You can’t watch those two eight minute videos and not come away impressed and just been like, wow, she really did her homework on this. She didn’t just get a couple emails from a couple scored X’s and say, Hey. This guy was a jerk four or five years ago. It was this here’s this party. Here’s pictures of this.
Here’s the ping. Here’s his phone number with obviously the last four numbers etched out. I mean, it was very, very thorough. So great job on that. Ricky, you were
killed
it with that. So in terms of today’s episodes, I’m not spoiled, although I have an idea just based on the preview at the end of episode nine.
At least for the couples that make it to, to wedding day. And I went over that in my podcast last week, but I’m curious about your thoughts on Lauren and Dave, are you under the impression kind of like everybody else that my, well, my impression is. Dave’s not attracted to her. Dave is looking for an out and he’s blaming it on an ex that we have now Learned from Lauren who I think said it either in an interview or she said it on an Instagram story that yes She was going through casting for two months while she was having this friends with benefits But she didn’t know until six days before she left for filming That she had officially been cast.
So for her, for him to kind of hold this against her, like, you know, what were you doing? How could you convince me that you were really ready to get married when you were in a friends with benefits relationship for two months leading up to film? She’s like. I didn’t even know I was going to get cast. He knew about it.
I knew about it that he knew I was going through casting process, but what am I supposed to do? Just not date and not have fun as a woman leading up to it because I would’ve wasted two months if I got a call saying I didn’t get cast. So then I just would have been like, Oh, I missed out on two months of possibly having fun with a guy.
So,
yeah, yeah, I agree. I agree. That’s my take on it too, though. I think Dan is not Dan, Dan is the ex Dave is looking for an out. So, and that’s what it seems like. Like, there’s not any reason to not believe what Lauren is saying. Like, I don’t know why he’s so like gung ho. I’m like, well, my friends are telling me this and my friends are telling me this.
And then you won’t let her talk to my sister.
I just don’t get it, but I, yes, I had the, and, and from my understanding from the ex Dan, like it’s the same exact story that, that Lauren is saying, like they were casual. It was nothing serious. They were friends with benefits. Like, so I’m not really sure why David stuck on this. And I think it’s because he wants an out.
So
yeah, he wants an out, but he doesn’t want to be the one to do it. Just like he was the one that with the, in the pods with Molly.
Yep. That’s like,
he wouldn’t, he wouldn’t specifically say like, I’m ending it with you. Cause I’m going to continue on with Lauren. And she was just like, Wait, are you breaking up with me?
He’s like, I thought I made that clear. She’s like, no, you didn’t actually at all.
Yeah, you didn’t. You’re trying to get me to say it, which is exactly what he’s doing to Lauren. I agree.
Yeah. And I, I’m, I’m curious. You can help me out with this. I thought in one of the Netflix previews, like I think even before the first batch of episodes dropped, I thought we saw Netflix.
Show a clip of a guy sitting down and putting headphones on is that Lauren’s ex. And are we going to see him on this show or, but then I heard you say something along the lines of this guy made up his own promo. I’m like, I’m so confused. Explain that to me.
Was a. Made up clip. He made that himself. That was not real.
That wasn’t. So that wasn’t Netflix, right? So where would I have seen that? Where was it posted?
He posted it. I know we posted it on our pod, on our podcast, the reality receipts podcast, we posted a clip of it and because he posted that and he tagged a bunch of news outlets, he tagged a reality, Ashley, you know, so he was trying to get people to.
To, you know, get, trying to get it attention. And the thing is, is that he used the voice, like you hear a podcaster’s voice and, you know, reality, Ashley watches a lot of podcasts. So she said, that’s the guy’s voice from the, we have the receipts podcast, which is a Netflix podcast. So we were initially under the impression that he was sitting down.
With that podcaster and going to do a formal interview. And it turns out he made that clip himself, just like he made the love is blind poster himself. Like he needs to stay off Canva. I don’t know, but he he made those promo clips himself alluding to the fact that he was, he says he did it to get our attention, which he got, I guess, but no, that was not a real interview.
Oh, see, he fooled me. I thought we were going to see him this season on love is blind because I was just like, Oh, wow. They actually bring in an ex. That is being talked about by one of the engaged couples.
Allegedly production asked him to have a run in with Dave and Lauren or asked him to be on the show.
And he refused. That and he, he posted some text messages or some receipts, I guess, on his Instagram showing that production had reached out and asked him to a film. And I mean, and then I don’t know, we keep seeing this reoccurring thing that he wants to be on TV. I think we’re going to even see that in tomorrow’s job that like this reoccurring thing, like he wants to be on TV.
So I’m not sure why he wasn’t on TV. Like if production asked him to but Ashley pointed out a good, Point today, she said, well, you know, we only seen him post production reaching out. We didn’t see him post his response. Like, did he tell them, I don’t want to film, I don’t want to be on TV. We don’t know what his response was.
So, but no, we’re not going to
see him. No, we
are not going to see him now. He’s not going to be on the episode. So I I mean, I think if he wouldn’t have, I don’t know. I don’t know that we would have even known who he was had he not like revealed himself. He says that there was a Reddit thread about him before he revealed himself, but I’m not sure how many people saw that.
I saw him because he tagged Reality Ashley in that initial promo, the fake promo.
And his name is Dan and he’s the friends with benefits guy.
Yeah. Yeah. His, his Instagram name is Jim Tan law.
For a guy that wants to be on TV, it looks like the opportunity. But then if he didn’t agree to that, if he, if he’s saying they, they asked me to come on. And even though we don’t know his answer, we know he’s not on this season, but
then he
goes out and he makes a promo to pretend like he’s on this season and makes a cast photo to pretend that he was on this season.
I’m very confused about the angle. I’m very confused about the angle because I think if he wanted to be on TV and he wanted to be a part of the series, it actually seems like it would have been a good, you know, a good storyline or a juicy storyline to like have some run in with Lauren and Dave, but he didn’t.
And I mean. From my understanding, it’s, you know, you can’t control the edit and once you go on TV and once you step into their domain, they could do whatever they want. They can clip you however they want. So maybe it was a perception thing. But then again, it’s like, why not go on the show to like, to then, like.
You know kind of self promote and there’s nothing to self promote because you’re not on the show I don’t know i’ve been confused about the whole thing.
Well episodes 10 coming out today on Netflix episode 13, which is the weddings is going to be next friday And then we’ll get the reunion show after that.
It looks like For the second week in a row, we’re going to get a giant, based on what you said at the beginning of this podcast, we’re going to get a giant bag of nothing out of the Ben and Sarah ending because Ben literally only went out with this girl one and a half times and this girl seemingly like she told you, or she said in her second video, I exaggerated it.
So they’re going to apparently move past that, just like at the end of episode six. When we were looking forward to episode seven, what happened between Daniel and Taylor that ended up being a whole bunch of nothing. She looks at her app and says, Oh, I guess she didn’t follow me. Okay, let’s go to Honduras.
Like, Oh man, we’re basically going to have that again at the beginning of episode 10. I’m assuming because Ben and Sarah are clearly going to get past this.
So.
Man, I’m being fooled by the show, like left and right. Like,
I can, we’ll say that, like, we don’t know how it’s going to play out because the girl did actually make her second video just currently like current day.
So that’s not something that Sarah would have known, like Sarah at this point in time either has to take. Ben’s word for it or not. And it seems like she’s not really like, she, you know, we kind of hear her say like, I’m not taking your word for it. Like, I’m not just going to dismiss. Cause why is she crying?
If you ghosted her, like, you know what I mean? Like she’s asking some valid questions. So we’ll just have to see how it plays out, but we know now currently like the girl came out and said, Oh, I, okay. I might’ve put some extras on it to get, she says the point was to get Sarah’s attention to warn her.
So she don’t, she didn’t marry, you know?
Okay. Yeah. And Ben seemingly end of episode nine is telling Sarah, the truth, right? I barely went out with this girl. I barely know her.
Yeah. Like I could see why based on the girl’s response video, I could see why Ben was like, I don’t really know what happened. I don’t remember.
It was four years ago. Like, and of course it’s like on the surface, you’re like bullshit, like, you know, you’re like, you know what happened, but it seems like actually in this situation, he might’ve been telling the truth.
Did you know that there was an app out there that you could download and see who unfollows you on Instagram?
Every girl knows that there’s an app. What’s it called? I didn’t know about it. I think, I think, I don’t have it. I used to have one in the past. I think it’s called like unfollow, like something like very like. Unfollow me or who unfollowed me or something like that now you’re not supposed to have that app because if you know instagram will like kind of like ban your account if they get when That you have like something like that installed, but there are those apps out there.

I did not know that I was just like whoa but you know, it’s you know, when when taylor was telling it it seemed like She had the basis of it. She just had like, you know, when she said, Oh, did you, which is the front? It, was it in front of a tree? And do you have a drink in your hand? It’s like, no, buddy, it was Christmas time and it was in front of a fire and he had a book instead of a drink.
So I was like,
yeah, I feel like that picture was, it was really hard to see Daniel’s face, like he was looking down. So to me, I’m like. Like you went about to really like zoom in and like look through his profile and other pictures to identify him. She would not have been able to identify him with that specific picture because it was hard to see him.
And then honestly, talk about a guy that did a one 80 from the end of episode six to the end of episode nine, Daniel’s like the most likable guy on this show that we all thought he was a creepy stalker at the end of episode six. They’re done. She couldn’t even last 24 hours with the guys she got engaged to.
To
me, to me, I never saw Daniel as a creepy stalker because to me, it was always a stretch. I was like, Hmm, like the lengths that you would have to go through, which I heard, which, you know, now I’m hearing that cast actually do kind of like when they’re casting in their city and they’ve been casted, they go check the casting producers, like.
followers, recent followers, and you can kind of see who maybe else they’ve been talking to. So that might’ve been how Daniel found Taylor. It would be very risky of him to go ahead and hit the follow button, but before I was like, this is a stretch. Like you mean like he followed your Instagram, notated that you’re a nurse and your name is Taylor.
You like talk about, and then like. Sought you out in the pot. Like that would be a stretch instead of just sliding in your Dean DM and saying, Hey, what’s up?
Good point. But yeah, from that point, I, it just seems like just one of the nicer guys on the show. You know, all the guys on the show look the look alike and they’re exactly the same.
You can’t tell anyone apart. You know what’s, you know, what’s funny. And I’ll just end with this. When you did your. When I watched your two Instagram stories, and this is, this goes to show how the lack of diversity in the cast got to me this year. When you did that, I was texting with a friend and I said, Oh my, so I said, I was like, wow, I watched all that.
I’m set. And I’m like, wow. So Taylor has no idea about any of this. My friend’s like Taylor. And I was like, Oh shit. I thought Ricky was talking about Daniel the whole time.
Yeah, but
I knew, I knew you were talking about Alex, but I had Daniel’s face on Alex’s body.
Yeah, I
was just like, see, that’s what I mean.
I mean, you talk about Joe is the only one that looked at it, but I mean, Ben, Dave, Daniel and Alex Mason, you might as well, they all could be brothers. If you
ask me. Yeah, for sure. For sure. I agree. I got a lot of comments like that. Like, which one is he? Like, is he the one that I’m like, Oh, like you can’t even, that might be saving his butt right now because nobody knows who he is, you know?
I mean, I knew you were saying Alex in the videos, but I was just like, in my head, it was just, it was Daniels. I knew you were saying Alex, but I was thinking Daniel and Taylor and I was like, Oh man, I feel bad for Taylor because she had, she had this whole Instagram thing with him where she thought he followed her before the show and now she’s got to deal with it.
And I was like, Oh, wait, no, wrong, wrong person.
