As you know, Friday’s Daily Roundup was not a normal daily roundup because it was just an interview with Ricky Wise from the Reality Seats Receipts Podcast and Story Time with Ricky on Instagram. I hope you took the time to listen to that. Very, very informative. Very, very thoroughly vetted. And I will say that after that interview aired, I was reached out to by one of the women that Ricky was referring to in that story.
And one of the women that had a past with Alex, the woman that was a two year girlfriend of his back, I believe, 2017 to 2019. She wanted to reach out and said she listened to the interview and she. Thanked me for getting her story out there. And then we had a little back and forth because I told her, I said, look, Ricky had so many X’s that contact her.
I was just like, which one are you again? I just wanted to make sure which one I was talking to. And yes, it was the one. Who dated him for two years that he asked and requested they watch young porn together. She dress as a young woman and I, I saw some of this sentiment online and I just want to kind of put my foot down on it right away and say, I didn’t agree with some of the sentiment online saying that is just a kink of Alex’s.
No, that’s not a kink. I don’t agree with that at all. You know, maybe. If it’s a one time thing, hey, let’s, let’s role play tonight. You dress up like a school girl, but when he’s telling her multiple occasions to dress up like a young girl, wear braces, watch young porn together. I’m sorry. That is a disturbing, disturbing behavior.
And you know, she has said she has definitely been scarred by everything that happened in the past. And you’re probably asking, is she going to do an interview? The answer right now is I don’t know. I think she’s still debating whether or not she wants to come forward publicly. And I said, look, if you want to great, but if you don’t totally understand because she’s married with a child and I totally get.
And I didn’t even say like, yeah, let’s do this or whatever. I said, this would be a lot for you to come forward. So I totally understand if you don’t want to, I’m fine with it. But if you do. We’re going to have to put together a plan on how we’re going to present this. And, you know, she just said, she’s thinking about it and she just doesn’t know.
And she has a lot more to lose with a husband and a child. Now her husband knows her husband has helped her through this. She doesn’t know what she wants to do. And I said, that’s fine. I said, I totally understand it. If you don’t want to speak out, because I said, honestly, if you were single. And you did not have a child.
I would probably offer more of my opinion to you and advise you. Maybe you should speak up on this, but. Being married with a child and having dealt with that from 2017 to 2019. It’s like she’s moved on with her life, you know, so I get her saying I don’t want to do anything But this is also a major part of her life and also something that she feels the need to possibly warn other women about It’s up to her.
I have no idea if it’s gonna come to fruition or not, and I’m fine either way I will say that love is blind We get the, what, episode number 13 this Friday. We get wedding days this Friday and that was the other thing. Oh God. We didn’t even talk about love is blind from because that came out on Friday.
So I haven’t had a podcast since then. You know what? I’ll get into that tomorrow since I didn’t even tease it in the open. We will talk about episodes 10 through 12 of love is blind tomorrow, because there is a lot of notes that I have from that one. The Lauren and Dave stuff still has me shaking my head.
And kind of the way we got a cliffhanger at the end of episode 12, just like we did at the end of episode six and the episode nine that ended up being a giant dud is episode 12 going to be a giant dud too. And Sarah’s just going to say yes to Ben. I know the spoilers are out there. I have not read any of the spoilers.
I have no idea how many of these couples did get married back a year ago on wedding day. And I have no idea if anybody that did get married is still together to this day. They taped the reunion show. It’s going to air next Sunday, the ninth. So you’re going to get wedding day on Friday, the seventh, and only, you only have to wait two days to get the reunion show that’s going to air on Sunday, the ninth on Netflix, and then you’re going to.
Hopefully start hearing some of the contestants on my podcast. So we will go over all of that. Hopefully, well, episodes 10 to 12, I will cover in tomorrow’s daily roundup, and then we’ll move on and start covering the season once it’s all wrapped up. I did want to talk about traders though, since I wasn’t able to talk about that on Friday.
And I guess everybody is up in the air right now of, wait a second, did Brittany and up. Changing her vote and turning on Danielle, or are we going to have a two, two vote to start off next episode? And then I believe Alan said, it’s basically going to be a matter of chance on who gets eliminated between Ivar and Danielle.
If Brittany voted for Ivar, the previews and the way Dolores looked at Brittany makes me think that Brittany changed her vote. But that couldn’t be, be me just being fooled by editing. We know, we know that’s happened quite a bit, especially on Survivor and even Love is Blind. So I don’t know. I get the sense that Brittany changed her vote and Danielle’s gone because if she didn’t change her vote and Ivar ends up going home, it almost seems like a done deal.
Brittany and Danielle are winning this thing, right? But I get the impression that Brittany looked over at Dolores and Dolores, I think, nodded her head. Which makes me think Brittany changed her vote to Danielle, but I could be way off. The other thing, when I was thinking of it, because a lot of people came to me and emailed and they were just like, wait a second.
I thought going into roundtable, they were voting for Gabby. And I said, yeah, but the second that Dolores made it known during the roundtable, before voting happened, the second Dolores said, Ivar. I’m voting for you, Brittany and Danielle changed their vote on the fly because Brittany and Danielle were absolutely going to vote for Gabby.
It’s because they thought Dolores was too. So if they vote for Gabby after Dolores votes for Ibar and tells everybody she was going to vote for Ivar before they even wrote the names down, then it would have been one vote for Ivar, two for Danielle or excuse me, two for Gabby. And three for Danielle and Danielle would have been gone now.
She might be gone anyway, if Brittany changed her vote, but that’s why Gabby ended up getting zero votes at the round table because Dolores announced she’s voting for Ivar and Brittany and Danielle without being able to converse to each other, I’m sure sent some eye signals to each other saying, Oh crap, we might as well vote for Ivar too.
Cause then we know we’ve got three. So the worst it could be was a tie. Well, that’s exactly what ended up happening. Because Ivar, Gabby, and Dylan all voted for Danielle. And then on the re vote, Ivar and Danielle can’t vote. We know that Dylan and Gabby voted for Danielle, and Dolores voted for Ivar, so the only vote left is Brittany.
And we will see at the beginning of Thursday’s episode, who she voted for. I think she changed her vote. I really do. I think they showed us Dolores’s facial expression and the head nod. So, and plus Brittany looks, I guess again, could be editing, could be Brittany just acting great. But I feel like Britney seemed, oh shit, like Dolores gave Britney some sort of head nod, but then ended up voting for Ivar.
I think Britney thought by the head nod that Dolores had changed her vote. So that made Britney change her vote. But then we see Dolores’s vote first and it’s still Ivar. She never changed her vote. So it’s maybe Britney voted for Danielle. And she actually did it by mistake. Like she didn’t want to backstab her, but she felt, Oh crap.
That Dolores changed her vote. So I might as well should be interesting. And finally, just wanted to talk about this. I’m recording this about halfway through the Oscars airing. We’re halfway through the Oscars and the only significant. I mean, if you want to count costumes and editing and stuff like that, which most people don’t, the only significant award that’s been given out through the first 90 minutes of the show was the very first award, which was best supporting actor.
I don’t know what this show needs to do. It’s it’s always way too stuffy for me. And it’s. Definitely changed in the last 15 to 20 years because we know all these movies that are up for best picture are movies that are Released on the indie market or you can see them only at certain theaters because they’re released to 15 theaters worldwide And it just I can’t get into it You know me the only movie up for best picture that I saw this year was wicked and I think it should win every award It did win best costume which makes sense to me.
I thought the opening number Which we’ve been hearing about for a couple of weeks that Ariana and Cynthia were going to open up the Oscars with a number and a, a, a duo and they did. Ariana sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Cynthia sang forgetting the name of that song. And then they both sang together and sang Define Gravity.
And it was awesome. Might have been the best opening number the Oscars has ever had, but my guess is none of them are going to win. Just because of what’s happened in the BAFTAs and the screen and the SAG awards and the golden globes. I mean, Cynthia hasn’t won any of those. I don’t believe Ariana’s won any of those and Wicked hasn’t won Best Picture.
So I’m guessing it doesn’t change, but I still got to go back and watch the rest. I’ve got about an hour and a half left, but I wanted to, after 90 minutes, I was like, all right, I’m going to go record my podcast because this is ridiculous. We’re getting nowhere with any of these awards. But anyway. Thank you all for listening.
