Let’s talk about Deal or No Deal Island last night. I hope you watched it. And I hope you were banging your head against whatever hard object you had in your house while you did watch it. Because this was the most absurd thing that I just It’s like, I need to talk to somebody from that show, and hopefully we’re gonna have Parvati on within the next couple weeks.
But I’m just Did I miss I literally went and The episode aired. I went back and rewound it to make sure that I heard what needed to be heard. So they’re down to the final five. You got Phillip, you got Letty, you got CK, you got David, and you got Parvati. And the challenge is you got to hold up 25 percent of your body weight.
And if you drop when a case is opened and shown a value, you get that value case. And the bottom two cases are up for elimination. And the person who has the highest case, who drops when the highest case is shown, has complete power. So they will one. Just send one of the people who are up for elimination home immediately when they get to the banker to go play the banker and then the person who was also in the bottom two that person automatically plays the banker.
So obviously the object of this challenge was do everything you can to get the highest case value. Pretty simple. If you have the highest case value, you get to choose who plays the banker, you get to choose who’s going home without even playing the banker, and you’re immune from getting eliminated.
Seems pretty straightforward. So, Leti drops first after getting a case of 2. 5 million. They show a case of 3 million, and Parvati and CK drop at the same time, but dropping at the same time means they had to split the case. So they each got 1. 5 million each. So Letty’s in the lead with 2. 5 million dollar case.
Parvati and CK are at 1. 5 each. So they know they’re not winning. So there’s two people left, David and Philip. And so they keep opening cases. Here’s 1. 5 million, here’s 1. 75. Well, why would you drop and get that case when you know you have to surpass 2. 5 to have all the power? So it’s very simple. If you collect the case and you drop your weight, When a value over $2.5 million is shown, you have the complete power.
You are immune from being eliminated. You get to choose who gets to go home, and you get to choose who plays the banker. You would think that that was the ultimate thing, and if you dropped early, you collected $75,000, or if you lasted to the end, you got $75,000. Sorry, not if you drop early, if you got to the end.
So, David and Phillip are left, and Joe Manganiello specifically says, he opens up a case that says, this is the highest value case left. And it was 2. 75, which was the highest case left. He specifically said it, I had to go back and rewind it to make sure that he said it. Because I was like, wait a second, they’re giving away the game here.
Whoever drops right now has all the power. Why would you even bother to stay in at this point? You just guaranteed yourself a shot. You automatically made yourself into the final three. And you get to choose who goes home, and you get to choose who plays the banker. And Philip is debating with, with David on what to do.
David’s just Jedi mind tricking him, like, What is happening here? Philip, this is a very easy choice to make. Drop, right now. Then you literally make David and Parvati essentially part of the bottom three. What did I miss last night? Did I just completely miss something? Because that made no sense to me whatsoever.
All Philip talked about was getting power over 75, 000. He literally had the chance to. Because it’s not like David, once he saw 2. 75 million, just dropped immediately and Philip had no chance. They were literally looking at each other and debating what to do. And I understand that David Jedi mind tricked him and Philip believed David, but why would you even put it in someone else’s hands?
You were talking about wanting full power. All you had to do was drop. You would have had the highest case at 2. 75. David Parvati and CK would have been in the bottom three. You would have sent one of them home and then forced one of the other two to play against the banker, and you were safe. But what happens?
He lets David drop first. David gets the 2. 75 million dollar case. He’s got all the power. And the person he eliminates is Philip. One of the dumbest game moves I’ve ever seen on this show. Granted, it’s only been two seasons. But I, I, I, unless I’m completely missing the boat on something, like if 2. 75 was not the highest case left and there was a chance that there was going to be a 3 million case, another one, because there was already was one and there was a chance for it, then I could say, okay, stay in, see if you can outlast David, but that wasn’t Joe specifically said this is the highest value case left, meaning you drop now you have all the power in the game.
You’ve automatically made it to the final three. And you control who does what at tonight’s temple. And Philip stood there and debated with David. There was no debate here. You drop the second Joe says, This is the highest value case left. He didn’t and he ends up going home. I can’t feel sorry for him.
I’m, I must be missing something here. Because that looked way too dumb of a move. Like literally one of the dumbest moves in reality TV history. Did you see The Valley? Finally released their season 2 trailers about 2 and a half minutes long. It was filled with drama. This show, I think, will absolutely take the place of our Vanderpump Rules fix that we’ve always needed.
Yes, Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules is a complete reset. We’re gonna have a whole new cast. But The Valley really found its footing last year in Season 1. Season 2 is supposed to be explosive. We saw clips of Brittany talking about how Jax is seeing a hooker, how Jax is already seeing other women. We see the clip of him being served the divorce papers.
We hear That one dude call his wife, and he calls her, actually he calls his wife a hooker. I’m totally blanking on their names, sorry. But you know who I’m talking about. And, it just, it was a very, all you gotta do, go to the valley. On Instagram and you can see the two and a half minute trailer and we find out that the show starts in basically a month.
April 15th is the first episode when it comes back on. So, we’re a month away definitely will be talking about The Valley every week after those episodes air because I really enjoyed season one. Did you see that Madison from Love is Blind was on the Off the Vine podcast with Caitlin Bristowe?
Yesterday and I listened to the whole thing and I thought Madison handled herself great But after that episode came out Meg’s Sister took to Instagram or she well, I saw it on the reality. Ashley’s Instagram story. She screenshot what makes sister wrote. It looked like it might’ve been in a love is blind Facebook group or something like that.
She basically defended Meg and absolutely trashed Madison. And again. And then Madison’s best friend came to her defense in response to Meg’s sister’s post. So again, it’s a lot of, he said, she said, or in this case, she said, she said, and again I find it. And then Madison took to Instagram story last night, did another Q and a seems pretty unbothered by it.
All seems to have a good head on her shoulders, and this is really just starting to get petty now. In terms of who’s doing what and who’s saying what, and when somebody said it, all this stuff, it’s just, it’s just a bit much at this point. It really is. And I just don’t, I just, I don’t know. I just don’t get how everything has to be so black and white when it comes to this.
There’s a lot of gray area going on here. There really is. And everybody just looks at it as so black and white. Madison is absolutely this, or she’s absolutely this, and Meg is absolutely this, or she’s absolutely this. It’s just, it’s way deeper than that. There’s so much more grey area, and yet people are getting so upset, way more so at Madison than they are at Meg.
I mean, yeah, there’s people that don’t like Meg, but like anything when it comes to reality TV, everybody’s got a fanbase. Some fanbases are bigger than others. And I would say the women on this season of Love is Blind have bigger fan bases than the men. But, if there’s one woman on Love is Blind Season 8 that’s taking most of the heat, it is Madison.
And I just don’t get it. I don’t understand it. And, if you heard her on Caitlin’s podcast yesterday, did you really come out thinking that? She’s, oh my gosh, what a manipulative bitch, and what an awful person, and oh my gosh, all she cares about is It’s like, she came across About as normal as you could, as you can come and you can, you can say like, look, but that’s just her doing an interview.
Of course, she’s going to sound better. I’m just saying what else am I supposed to take her at stuff that I don’t know about. It’s like she’s presenting herself on her Instagram stories in interviews. She’s done. This was, I think the first podcast where she did a sit down. She’s done some for the entertainment sites, but it wasn’t a 45 minute podcast where she sat down and talked about a lot of stuff.
So. Yeah, I’m just not really understanding the hate towards Madison. Nobody on this show should be getting hate. You could have an opinion about them, but I’ve seen the hate Madison’s getting, not like, Eh, not really a fan of hers. Seems like a nice woman, but just don’t like what she did on the show.
That’s different than literally some of the stuff that I’m seeing online calling her manipulative. What did what did Meg’s sister call her? Basically saying that the men were too pussy to call her out on her poor behavior. And, she can’t argue the facts. And Netflix is protecting her. And, my sister was It’s disgusting when your sister is caught in the middle of it.
Do not believe what you see. It’s funny because Meg’s sister says this line, do not believe what you see on reality TV. It’s heavily edited and what they choose to leave out is just as important as what they keep in the final cut. And please don’t come for people on this show. Even Madison, because honestly, you don’t know the facts, but literally the first five sentences of this woman’s post are coming from Madison.
It’s like, what, please don’t come for the people on this show. Even Madison, even though that’s what you just did for five sentences. You literally are telling people, Hey, this is a reality show. Just because you saw this positive thing about Madison, don’t believe it. But don’t come for anybody on this show.
You literally went in a love is blind Facebook group post to shit on Madison and then tell people don’t come for the contestants. It’s just, this is what I mean. Family members need to stay off the internet. Just let the people who were on the show actually defend themselves because anytime a family member gets involved, it usually doesn’t end up well.
Ever. I’m going to save the Jenny Garth, Dalton James interview on the 90210MG podcast until tomorrow because I want to I want to kind of flesh it out a little bit more than what was just being said on the people who covered the interview, people. com and stuff like that. I do want to dive into it a little bit deeper because on the BH90210 restored Instagram page right now, they are covering season seven.
And they are at the point now Dalton James character, Mark Reese on the show has already on the episode that they’re at right now. They’re right at the episode where Brandon’s about to play the jeweler who sells his engagement ring back to Kelly back to himself because he’s playing the jeweler and he sells it to Brandon.
You know what I’m saying? Anyway, and by the way, I didn’t know that until about a year or two ago. I always thought that jeweler was creepy and weird. And then I, I didn’t know until about a year or two ago that it was actually Jason Priestly in makeup who was playing that character, but that scene’s coming up soon on BH 90210 restored.
So we’re past Mark James, but on 90210 OMG, they just started recapping season seven and they had Mark James on the show because there’s a lot behind his exit. Not, not a lot, but. There is some stuff behind his exit that has been said over the years and Jenny and Dalton James address it and I thought it was actually really professional of Jenny to actually bring this topic up because it basically points to her.
As the reason why he got fired from the show. So we’re going to get into that tomorrow for the time being. I just, I wanted to not rush through it at the end of this podcast. Anyway, thank you all for listening. I really appreciate it. Follow me on Apple podcasts also rate in review, but you got to hit play.
