You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Friday. Good Friday show for you. We are gonna talk a little bit about yesterday’s. Double interview podcast with Kay Carlson and Natalie Cruz. Got some thoughts on that.
I do have an update. I forgot to mention it at the end of the podcast, but I do have an update on the amount of texts that Grant sent Natalie, she got back to me. We are gonna talk a little bit about Survivor from a Wednesday night and also probably the most, the, the least shocking headline involving Jax Taylor ever, and we will get to all that momentarily.
So let’s begin with a little talk on episode number 4 38 with Kay and Natalie yesterday. I hope you guys took the time to watch that either on YouTube or listen to it on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, because I really thought, yes, they’ve been very vocal on social media, but you know me. I like to do timelines in my interviews.
It just makes things easier for me to understand. Had more of a timeline that I had to go over with Natalie because there was so much crossover between what Grant was doing with Natalie and what he was doing with Ashley. Speaking of Ashley for the first time, and God knows how long, I did not jinx an interview.
Remember yesterday I said, Hey, I’m supposed to record with Ashley today, meaning yesterday. Well, I did. It was about an hour and 15 minutes with Ashley and we went over everything, including the timeline, and it’s all in there that’s gonna run next week. Can’t wait for you to hear it, but it was really, really good and I appreciate Ashley’s honesty.
I appreciate Ashley 100% taking accountability. For being stupid and letting Grant woo her back and her taking him back after the show had ended filming when she left the island with Danny and he left single, and then he started being interested in Natalie and they started dating. You heard that yesterday.
And Natalie said, but then he cheated on me with Ashley. We get into all that with Ashley and how it all came about. What happened, and. She doesn’t try to make excuses. Didn’t make any bones about it. Like, yeah, I was dumb. I don’t know what I was thinking. So there’s that. But the Natalie stuff was so interesting to me.
Kay was really good too. But Tyler seemingly has moved on with everything. So not nearly as much juice there other than his insinuation on Nick’s podcast that, oh, well I found out she did OnlyFans during our last date together. And I’m just, I don’t fly with that. Yet he’s blowing up her phone for two months after they left filming.
So clearly he was bothered by it publicly when it got out that she had an OnlyFans. But while he was with her no. Or before anybody knew, no, he didn’t care. So makes sense. That he would squirm his way outta that by saying that. The other thing being with Natalie, so much t there because there was so much crossover between Grant courting her and also courting Ashley, you’ll hear that next week.
In what she says that he was saying and doing with her. But one of the things that I asked Natalie, you heard me, it was a request that I had and I said, Hey, will you just go back and check your text messages? I wanna know how many times this guy has texted you since the end of August last year. ’cause she made it clear.
I don’t respond to him at all. I don’t tell him, leave me alone. I don’t tell him block my number. I don’t tell him anything. I just let him fire away. And I asked her at the end of the podcast, Hey, will you just count for me? I’m curious like, are we talking about 10 15? And she counted. And remember on the podcast, she said, I don’t have the voice messages anymore.
After you listen to them, they disappear. Well, I don’t know what phone she has. Everybody who sent me a voice memo is still on my phone, so I, I don’t really know how that works. I’ve got so many Dave Neil voice memos on my phone, and he’s got so many of me, assuming they don’t delete off his phone, but I don’t know why she said her voice memos disappear, whatever the case may be.
It was not a big deal. But when she said that, I was like, oh, I didn’t know that was the case. Mine don’t disappear, but so. Courtney Robertson, plenty of voice memos from Courtney and Dave. Those are probably the two people I have the most voice memos from, for sure. I can’t, me and Stephanie Parker have started sending voice memos for the longest time we just texted, and then it was like a week ago, she was like, I don’t know if I’ve ever sent you a voice memo, but I’d rather do it this way.
And it was like, okay. But Dave and Courtney take the cake of everybody in my life right now. It’s not even close. So what was I saying? Oh, sorry. I got sidetracked, Natalie. I asked her, can you just count for me? And she said, minus the voice memos. He has sent between 30 and 40 texts since August of last year.
Now you might say, well, Steve, that was what, eight months ago? And he has sent 30 texts. That’s three texts a month. That’s probably 25 texts. Too many. You send a few, you send three. Maybe you send five. When she doesn’t respond to any of them, maybe you stop, especially when she doesn’t respond to you buying her a ticket to Columbia and she doesn’t even let you know.
Oh yeah, I’m still interested in going, or, no, I don’t want to go with you. Flat out ghosting this guy for numerous text messages, numerous voice memos, and a couple videos where he would just record himself leaving her a message. So I guess she could see his face, whatever, dude, as I said on the clip that I released yesterday, congratulations.
I mean. Points for persistence, I guess. But that’s about it. It almost comes across now as a little stalkerish because she clearly is not interested in him and she clearly has made it known she’s not interested in him by never responding to him. And then yet on Tuesday when I recorded with her, she’s like, yeah, I think you sent me one last night.
And he sent it to me on my text and in my dm and it was basically the same thing, just taking the picture that I posted earlier today on Instagram and telling me I look good. Just I guess Grant doesn’t get the, get the hint and you know, you thought t was spilled with Natalie and Grant and her telling you everything that happened between them.
Just wait till you’re Ashley next week. And you might’ve heard Ashley Ashley’s done quite a few interviews. You know, she did the reunion episode she did an interview with Elite Daily. She did bonfire Talks with Mark Wahlberg. She’s been on others. So if you’ve heard that on those, I do think there is some stuff she says on the podcast that you’ll hear next week that she hasn’t said.
But a lot of it is if you haven’t been following, and I don’t. Like I said, I never listened to the full reunion show. I didn’t listen to her full interview with Mark. I heard a lot of clips, but I don’t know if any podcaster did a timeline with her like, Hey, I started before Temptation Island. Like how did this all come about?
How soon did you start dating him? After his baby mama was, he was no longer dating her. How did you guys meet? What made you go on this show, especially since you had said he cheated on you a month into your relationship, how did you find out about that? There is. I ask her everything. Everything that I think everyone wants to know, and she answered everything.
So again, I can’t wait for you to hear it. I can’t remember the last time one of my weekly podcasts would re was recorded a week in advance. So now I can kind of sit back, kick up my feet and don’t have to worry about recording anything until, not this upcoming Tuesday, but the following Monday or Tuesday.
And. So Ashley is gonna run next Thursday, which is the 17th. I need to find an interview for the 24th. I think I got one for the following week, which would be May 1st. But yeah, it is. I know this is my job. It is such a relief to get an interview. Recorded at least a week in advance for me. You don’t, because you don’t understand, like most of my interviews that run on Thursday are recorded on Tuesday or Wednesday.
I’d say 90% of them maybe I should start doing it. I just, the reason why is because I feel like if I record something and have it in the can for two weeks, it’s gonna not be topical by the time it comes out because something will break and then I’ll have to say, oh yeah, by the way, we couldn’t even cover this.
’cause I recorded this two weeks ago. I understand other podcasts do that, and I get it. You’re just sometimes gonna miss out on stuff, but maybe I should just to make it easier on myself, because I’m always a little bit stressed come Tuesday or Wednesday, because God forbid somebody cancels on me and then I’m scrambling.
But for the most part, yeah, it’s very ha. It happened very few times. I wanna say less than five times where I had an interview set up for Tuesday or Wednesday and someone notified me that day that I can’t make it. Something came up emergency or. If they might have just flaked. Doesn’t happen very often, but it really puts me in a bind.
So yeah, you would like to have some interviews banked and maybe it’s something I should look into more. I don’t know, but it’s just the way I’ve always been able to function. You ever hear the stories about Saturday Night Live like that? The It’s, it’s amazing that Saturday Night Live is in its 50th season, the way that show is run and the way it’s handled and how everything is always up against the clock.
That is not a very well run machine yet. It’s been on the air for 50 years and it’s because of the chaotic, the chaos. I’m just gonna say chaoticness, the chaos behind the scenes of how that show is written. How they get stuff and films, bits and film sketches. And then do a dress run dr. Dress rehearsal at eight 30 at night on Saturday nights, and then they cut sketches and then they go live.
It’s just. These, these people talk about being up till four or five in the morning writing sketches and stuff like that, and it’s just like, wait a second. Why would you, why would you make it so chaotic? But that’s the way it’s always run. You read anybody who’s covered their time on Saturday Night Live, a lot of ’em have written books.
I’ve read like three or four of ’em. They all say the same thing. It is unbelievable how chaotic the writing schedule is on that show and what you have to do, and. Especially fighting for airtime. You know, not everybody gets equal amount of airtime on that show, obviously. But anyway, I hope you enjoyed Natalie and Kay yesterday.
I thought they were great. And then you’ll get Ashley Moore next week. This podcast is brought to you by Zocdoc. When was the last time you needed to go to a doctor and you pushed it off?
