Few things to go over here in the legal world. Number one, if you listened to, to Rachel Juarez debate David Ingris on my podcast a couple weeks ago. You saw this coming. He hinted at it during the debate that he was strongly considering filing a reconsideration where you tell the court of appeals, Hey, reconsider this and here’s why we want you to reconsider this.
Rachel made it known during that, or maybe she didn’t make it known. She made it known privately to me. As have numerous other people. It’s not just Rachel. David Ingris is on an island alone here. He thinks he’s gonna win. Nobody else in America thinks he’s going to win this reconsideration. He’s probably not going to, he’s gonna lose, which means he will then take it to the Arizona Supreme Court, according to him.
And then once they lose in the Arizona Supreme Court, he’s going to take it to the US Supreme Court and he’s going to lose in that as well. And that’s gonna make him a perfect O for how many ever filings he did in this case. And then it’s just done. It is going away. We’ll not have anything to talk about with this anymore.
Because I can’t imagine anything with this particular case unless Clayton decides to do something separately. This will be all over once they lose reconsideration and then lose if he goes to Arizona and the US Supreme Court. But they did file, he did file on Friday for reconsideration where he basically tells the appellate court, all three judges who shot down what he wrote in his appeal, Hey, reconsider it, and here’s why.
I am sure they’ll take 10 seconds to look at that and shoot it down again. So that happened yesterday in the Laura Owens Clayton Necker trial in case you were interested. Well, it happened on Friday, but kinda words gotten out in the last 24, 4, 8 hours that that happened. And the file is actually out there for public knowledge if anybody is interested.
The other legal thing to bring up, and this is just ugly now, and that’s Deanna Pappas and ex-husband Steven Stagliano. Steven has requested a change in custody agreement following her arrest over their altercation and arrest that she wasn’t charged anything for, and the police dropped it. But he has requested a thousand dollars per month in child support, which look.
I guess that’s somewhat refreshing because every time we hear about child support involving Bachelor Nation people, or even celebrities in general, I, I see these ridiculous numbers of, you know, 30,000 a month, 50,000 a month. You know, we’re dealing with celebrities that are making millions. I get it, but I don’t care who you are and how long you’ve been married to somebody and you had kids with, you don’t need $50,000 a month for child support.
I’m sorry. You’re clearly using that for yourself and giving a portion to your kid. Anyway, he’s asked for a thousand dollars per month in child support because his financial situation has changed drastically and he is currently looking for work in a four page income and expense declaration. He has said as of April, 2025, I have no income.
I have actively looking for a job and Deanna’s constantly changing work schedule and her drinking has made it incredibly difficult to do so. He has claimed that. Her alcohol issues are the sole reason behind or are also the reason behind his requests for alcohol testing, monitored visits if indicated.
He says that her alcohol issues went back to September of 19. The alleged incidents include receiving a distressing text from their daughter. Addison, while Deanna was taking care of Addison in October of 2023 and being told by Addison that she is scared while she’s with her mother. The next month in November of 2023, she says she’s put our children in a dangerous situation due to her drinking.
He also says, I have no doubt Deanna will completely deny that she has a problem, as she did during our marriage. I have no doubt she will stay clean while these proceedings are ongoing. I have no doubt she will produce clean soberlink tests and clean drug tests. She’s able to string together stints of sobriety, but it has never been permanent.
Our texts from our daughter prove this. Okay. The text from the daughter didn’t prove that she was drinking or was a drunk text from the daughter said. What he said she was scared and he said she believed that Deanna in one of them. Was sick. She went to the room. She left the children with the neighbor because she went to the room because she was sick when he quote unquote, believes she was actually drunk.
Well, there’s the one thing to believe it and one thing to prove it, and I haven’t seen anything in these stories where he’s been able to prove it. But Deanna has been vocal. I’m sure she’s gonna come out with something else on Instagram to combat this because she’s combated everything that he has said.
So it’s just sucks. I don’t know. I mean, Deanna’s been on the podcast it was a while ago. I don’t know her all that well. But seeing the story play out and seeing the back and forth between the two, it, it’s not fun to read stuff like this for sure. Why would it be? I don’t even know her children, but anytime there are children involved and you got the mom and the dad fighting in the press about who’s drinking, I, I’m just, it can’t be good for anybody involved.
Let’s be honest. Sean Lowe took to social media for the first time yesterday since he came out and told the story of being attacked twice by his dog, and he said basically. The doctor said he is doing good. He’s gonna have permanent scars for the rest of his life. They’ll heal a little bit and the color might get away and dissolve, but the scars will always be there.
But he says he’s doing well and it’s one of these things where they will probably go back to their normal posts of family stuff. I don’t know if they’ll do any stuff related to dogs or not. But he did come out and say. Good to be back. Thank you for all the messages, all the love and support that people gave him after he came out with that story.
’cause that couldn’t have been easy to tell. ’cause you know, people immediately jumped to conclusions and are gonna judge. But obviously being attacked by your dog and the way he was, and you know, he said he was never going to release the video. I don’t know if you’ve looked, but there is video footage out there because the local news here in Dallas did a story on it and they played the footage.
From the security cameras or whoever was recording at the time where Sean was attacked the second time by the dog and he literally had to hold his dog down. It is, I’m not suggesting you go watch it ’cause it is very disturbing because anytime I know that Sean was trying to protect himself, but. Who wants to see a dog in that situation?
I don’t think anybody does, especially dog owners. It was just, it was rough to watch. I couldn’t even get through the whole video. So, good to see that he’s on the mend and it’s just gonna be scars on his arms for the rest of his life when it could have been a hole hell of a lot worse. And finally, you know me, when it comes to game shows.
Especially game shows from the eighties. Absolutely love them. I love game show bloopers. It’s like one of my favorite rabbit holes to go down on YouTube when I’m bored sometimes at night. Well, we lost one of the pioneers in the game show world and the game show host world, and that was our boy Wink Martindale, joker Wild passed away at the age of 91, and I had to look like.
Obviously I knew Wink was a nickname, but like what was his oh wait, did I say Joker’s Wild? Sorry. I meant Tic-Tac Doe. He was huge on Tic-Tac Doe, and his name was Winston Conrad. Wink. Martindale, 91 years old. Tic-Tac Dough was obviously a game back in the day where you had to answer a question. It wasn’t just, Hey, here’s two contestants.
Play tic-tac Dough and whoever wins wins money. No, you had to answer a question and then if you got it right, you were able to place your X or your O on the board, and then there was a dragon sometime in there that would breathe fire and then you would land on. I don’t remember. I just remember watching Tic-Tac do all the time as a kid.
Wink Martindale. Was an all time classic game show host and there is a football defensive coordinator in the NFL who goes by the name of Wink Martindale. His name’s Don Martindale, but they call him Wink. He’s the D coordinator for the Ravens. Anyway the original Wink Martindale died at the age of 91 yesterday, so rest in peace and condolences out to family and friends of his.
