I’ve got some more. On this golden Bachelor situation. The more I thought about it over the weekend, I’ll express that pilot.
Pete launches his new girlfriend on Friday, but it’s not without some drama. I’ll tell you about that and something that I didn’t even get into on Friday. The fact that Scott Wolf got a temporary restraining order against Kelly Wolf and he has got temporary custody of the kids. We find out a little bit more about that.
Kelly, of course had a response to that. It’s getting ugly people. We’ll get to all that momentarily. So this Golden Bachelor situation is really starting to make the national news, as I said on Thursday and Friday’s podcast, when I gave you my feelings on this situation, I said, look, if the content creators covered this and tiktoks covered this, yeah, it would be out there, but the show could avoid that.
And the show could ignore that because we’re just not a big enough voice. We don’t have national voices. And the problem is it did go national. I mean, US Weekly, eon online, ew, page six, Hollywood Reporter, the Cut have all done stories on this in the last few days. And I think the show is in a situation right now where.
I said on Friday in the podcast, I said, I think there’s maybe a 10% chance they recast this guy. I’m telling you right now, I know nothing in terms of behind the scenes and this situation. I don’t know what’s being said, what’s being done behind the scenes, but I’m gonna raise that 10%. I think we’re getting closer and closer.
The more outlets cover this. I think we’re getting closer and closer to. Their hand being forced and they’re going to be, they’re going to have to replace him for all the reasons I expressed on Thursday and Friday. It just doesn’t make any sense at this point. You know, the other thing that could happen in this whole situation is if you are a woman who’s already been cast to be on this season of the Golden Bachelor, or maybe they haven’t finalized and they’re still trying to.
Cast their last few women, and you’re a woman that is on the verge of being cast. Well, these women could form their own coup even though they don’t know each other. Any woman that is already set or about to be set to be cast on this next season of Golden Bachelor could just say, I’m not doing this. I heard what he said on an interview.
Why would I join this show? Then you pretty much force the show’s hand, right? Because then they have to literally restart casting over knowing they start filming in July, and I just don’t think they can do it that quick. And things are done on a schedule. They can’t just bump production for this show because then that might bleed into the next season of The Bachelor, which usually films mid to late September.
So we just don’t know about the logistics of it. But I’m telling you right now, if every woman that was set to be on the Golden Bachelor. Called her handler, called her producer and said, I don’t wanna do this anymore. The show would be screwed, and they’d be forced to get rid of Mell Owens. Here’s the other thing that I thought about over the weekend.

We know that Mel Owens was announced as the Golden Bachelor back in April during this crossover Hulu event, right? What has Mel Owens done? What has the show done since then to promote him? He hasn’t done any podcast in Bachelor Nation that I’m aware of. He hasn’t done any appearances on behalf of the network that I’m aware of.
As far as I know, the only thing that he’s done is that June 4th podcast with M Go Blue Podcast, university of Michigan, where he played football, where he said all this stuff. So I was like, well, let me go to the Bachelor Nation website. It’s not a website that I frequent very often, in fact, I rarely ever do because it just doesn’t have anything on there that I need.
But I go, let me go on Bachelor Nation’s website and see if there’s anything on there that promotes. Mel Owens is our next Golden Bachelor. Bachelor nation.com.
I don’t see anything on here. There’s not one thing on here in even any of the dropdown lists at the top. There’s nothing on here that shows Mel Owens is the next golden Bachelor. Now here’s the thing. In the last two months, maybe there was something on there that did, and maybe they’ve taken it down and maybe that’s them already saying we need to go in a different direction.
I don’t know. ’cause I wasn’t on it in the last two months. But I’m seeing stories about Hannah Ann being pregnant. Meet the golden cast of Bachelor in Paradise. Michelle Young and Jack LAIs are officially married. Rachel Recchi is Bachelor audition tape, uh, bachelor Nation Scoop. They have nine stories where they’re promoting Scoop in Bachelor Nation.
Gerod wants to get back into dating. Katie Bigger shares her behind the scenes details from her date with Zach in the museum. Serena Chu Hard launched her new boyfriend, Gary Turner shares a rare glimpse of his life with his new girlfriend. Catch up with Gary Leviston of the Golden Bachelorette Kendall.

So this Bachelor Nation site is more concerned about promoting Ali Fedotowski. Mano losing a tooth than promoting their next Golden Bachelor.
There’s nothing on here. Mel Owens is nowhere on the Bachelor Nation site. So if you go to shows, dropdown List Bachelor, bachelorette, bachelor in Paradise, golden Bachelor. Oh, lemme click on Golden Bachelor. The only thing under Golden Bachelor. The Golden Bachelor Season one cast. That’s it. The headshot and you can click on each woman’s headshot and see their bios.
So again, I don’t know if this means anything because I don’t know if for the previous two months they had something on here as Mel Owens as their next golden match. I dunno. ’cause I’ve never been on the site until now. I mean, I, not that I’ve never been on it. I’ve been on it in the past. Usually when the cast came out, ’cause this is the link I use to tell people to go to, to see the new cast of men or women.
On the Bachelorette or the Bachelor, respectively. There’s nothing on here about Mel Owens. And then when I thought about it, I said outside of that April event, what has Mel Owens done for the show? He hasn’t been on any sort of tell all show because there’s been, or after the Final Rose, ’cause there hasn’t been a show.
There was no bachelorette this season. So how hard would it be to move on from him? He hadn’t done anything. I don’t think he’s even done a podcast within Bachelor Nation. I don’t think he’s been on Bachelor happy hour. He hasn’t been on with Nick or Caitlin or almost famous, as far as I know. Maybe he did early on right after this happened.
I could be wrong. It’s possibly he did. But what I’m saying is it’s not like Mel Owens has been all over the place and they have absolutely been promoting the hell outta this guy, and they’re like, oh shit, we can’t. Recast him now. We’ve given him all this promotion. No, outside of that April event, he is done nothing.
So I think it is possible not to mention everything he said. I just don’t see any way you throw this guy out there as your Golden Bachelor. And if you’re a woman who was set to be cast on this season, why would you even show up? You would’ve been on your phone with your producer. The second you heard about him saying this in an interview and saying, wait a second, why am I thinking if, if you’re a woman that’s over 60, why am I thinking, why am I going on your show?
This guy has said he’s cutting women over 60 and he wasn’t joking. He’s clearly interested in younger women, which again, Mel Owens is allowed to have a preference. We know it’s very prevalent in Hollywood and celebrities and athletes. They date younger women, older men date younger women. It’s a tale as old as time, but that is not the point of the Golden Bachelor.
It just isn’t. The Golden Bachelor is your golden years. We want a bachelor and we want a Golden Bachelor over 65, and we’re gonna cast women in their sixties and seventies just like they did for Gary’s season. So why in this world would any woman show up for this? Maybe, maybe some of them are listening to this right now.
I’m telling you, if you make your voices heard and you go to your producer and say, I don’t wanna do this, and enough of you do it, they’re gonna be forced to get rid of him if they’re not getting rid of him already. So while I said on Friday, I thought there was a 10% chance that they actually recast him, and I didn’t know if they had the balls to do it.
I’m just thinking more and more. This show is headed for a disaster. This franchise, I mean, is headed for a disaster. The Golden Bachelor franchise, if they leave this guy out there, because everybody has now seen the story. It’s one thing for the talkers to talk about it and the content creators and us who aren’t part of Bachelor Nation on the periphery to talk about it, they could easily ignore that.
Just like when I give my spoilers to Bachelor Nation or uh, to Bachelor in Paradise. The show isn’t gonna address it. They don’t have to address it. It’s out there. But when every entertainment site that people read now knows what their Golden Bachelor said on a podcast about older women and making jokes about artificial hips and wigs, man, I think they have to recast him now.
And if they don’t, golden Bachelor is done. This will be the last season they do of it. Because how do you re, how do you recover from this? You can’t. So many people are upset. Go read where any of the story, read the comments under any of these outlets that covered this story. Nobody’s like, yeah, I agree with this guy.
No, he’s allowed to date younger, but that’s not the point of Golden Bachelor. And now he’s already exposed himself and told everybody how he feels about women his age, or women slightly younger than him. This guy is collecting social security. He’s 66 and he is like, no, if you’re over 60, I don’t want you.
Great. Well, you know what? America doesn’t want you now, Mel. Sorry. I really think there’s a good chance he’s gonna get end up getting recast Now how, what that means in terms of filming when it starts, all that stuff that I don’t know, because that is something I don’t have details on. I’m just saying they cannot trot this guy out there as the Golden Bachelor anymore.
There’s just no way. On Friday, I got a message from somebody who DMed me, a friend of mine that dmd me about Peter Weber, pilot, Pete’s hard launch of his new girlfriend. I learned two things on Friday. Number one pilot, Pete now has a new girlfriend, and number two pilot, Pete has me blocked on Instagram because when they sent me the, his hard launch from his Instagram, it said, photo not available.
And I was like, so I did a search of Pilot Pete on Instagram and his Instagram profile did not come up. But when I went to my Finsta, it did. So I was like, oh, I didn’t know I was blocked from Pilot Pete, which is kind of whatever at this point. Like I can’t remember the last time I talked about Pilot Pete.
The first thing that comes to mind is traitors that he was on two seasons ago, and on that season of traitors, I was very complimentary of him. So who knows, this probably goes back to his podcast days where I absolutely tore him a new one for how him and Dustin handled. Nate not being the Bachelor and all that stuff, regardless, I found that out on Friday.
Pilot. Pete has blocked me on Instagram. Fine, but so my friend messaged me this and basically she actually messaged me to tell me that. Pete seemed to out kick his coverage with this one. That was what her message said. So I was, so, I saw it. I was like, oh, okay. I didn’t know who this woman was, so I Googled her.
Her name is Brooks Sill and she’s an actress. Uh, she’s in Landman, she’s been in Stranger Things. She’s been in Outer Banks. I don’t know if she’s a major character on any of those shows. I don’t watch any of those shows, but she’s an actress, and I was like, oh, okay. So I didn’t know anything about Brooksville.
I had never even heard the name until Friday. So I Google Brooks Sill and I Google and just in a straight Google search, you find out that she used to date Country Singer John Gurney, another name that I had never heard of John Gurney until Friday. I was like, okay. So after my friend sends me this on Friday, I Google Brooks Sill and I, I googled John Gurney and I go to John Gurney’s Instagram stories on Friday.
And on his Instagram story, he put up one. He put up one post. It was about an hour or two hours after Pilot, Pete launched Brooks Sill as his new girlfriend. Well, Brooks Sill used to date John Gurney and John Gurney put on his Instagram story. On Friday, an hour after pilot, Pete launches Brook Sale. He puts a screenshot of a song called Never Met Anyone Like You by Ella Langley.
Can’t say I’ve ever heard the song. In fact, I know I haven’t heard the song, but he screenshots it basically like from a Spotify screenshot, and then he writes his own caption. This song is a roller coaster and a masterpiece at Ella Langley music. Summing up my last relationship in three minutes. It’s like, oh, John Gurney used to date Brooks Sill.
He posted this after Brook Sill and Pilot Pete launched their new relationship on Friday. Let me look at the lyrics to the song. Never met anyone like you. And it’s pretty standard. Basically talking about somebody that they were like, wow, I can’t believe I met you. You’re great, you’re wonderful. All this.
And then here’s this line from the song. ’cause you said it was us till the end. Then you went and hooked up with my friend. You blamed it on me, left me crying in pieces. Damn. What a piece of shit. Whoa. Those were the lyrics in the Ella Langley song. Never met anyone like you. So I messaged my friend back on Friday and I’m like, Ru ro, and I sent her the screenshot of the song and of the lyrics.
And look, I don’t know anything behind the scenes, but this is all factual information. None of this is speculation. Fact Pilot, Pete and Brook Sill hard launched their relationship on Friday. Fact, Brook Sills, ex-boyfriend is musician, John Gurney. Fact, John Gurney posted on his Instagram story an hour after pilot.
Pete and Brooks still go public. A song called, never Met Anyone like You. In fact, one of the, one of the lyrics in that song says, ’cause you said it was us till the end. Then you went and hooked up with my friend and you blamed it on me. So yet again, Pilate, Pete just involved in some mess. Like I said, I know nothing about the situation.
But I do not think as an outsider’s perspective, I do not think it was coincidental that one hour after pil, Pete and Brook Sill go public with their relationship, her ex-boyfriend posts that song to his Instagram story. And when you dive into that song and look at those lyrics, it says, you hooked up with my friend.
If you wanna dive a little bit deeper, John Gurney. Is very good friends with Jason Tarik and Blake Horseman. Jason Tarik is also friends with Pilot, Pete and Blake I think is friends with Pilot Pete, and there’s pictures of all of them. John Gurney with Brook Sill two months ago at Coachella. Just go look.
Another another thing you can add to the facts. Facts. Go look at Brook Sills tagged photos. She’s tagged in a photo at Coachella. A couple of them. Two months ago, and she’s with John Gurney and there’s a picture of a group of them. Maria’s in it. Blake is in it, Jason’s in it, and Pilot Pete is in it. Oh boy.
Just throwing it out there, and again, not throwing it out there as any sort of speculation or guessing. This is all fact. I don’t know. Contact John Gurney yourself and ask, Hey John, how come one hour after your ex-girlfriend posted her new boyfriend? You posted that song, and then you said, my last relationship explained in three minutes, or summing up my last relationship in three minutes.
I mean, it’s pretty straightforward what John Gurney is saying. Maybe that’s his version of the events. I don’t know. I didn’t know who Brook Sill or John Gurney was until Friday, but it is pretty clear what John Gurney is saying
that Brook Sill hooked up with his friend. There you go. Let’s see if this is the beginning of something that lasts a little bit longer on social media, but very, very interesting to say the least. I learned a lot on Friday, let’s put it that way.
