You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality. Steve Podcast, I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Tuesday. A good show for you. We’re gonna go over what we saw on Bachelor in Paradise last night. We’ve got a hard launch from The Bachelor in Paradise Show, from people that aren’t on the show anymore.
Wasn’t very hard to see that. This couple was a couple, as I talked about them last week. Got some news from Big Brother. I am gonna spoil what happened at the. Veto ceremony and I found something on Instagram that is driving me nuts, but not because I haven’t been able to figure it out, it’s because I can’t believe how many people don’t understand this.
And I’ll tell you what that’s all about. So let’s get started. That Paradise, episode five last night, we, well, they teased us. They really did. Because we are going all the way up to the end of the episode, and it’s not gonna be till next week when the rose ceremony starts at the beginning of next week’s episode, and they’re gonna lay out how the rest of the season is going to work.
We’re gonna have a better idea about things. But one thing that they did really want to lay out there for everybody in last night’s episode was we need to show you. Some kinks in the armor of every single couple outside of Spencer and Jess. They weren’t even really brought up all episode, but every other couple there needed to show some sort of, wait a second.
Maybe they aren’t all good. Just look at ’em. Jeremy and Bailey. Jeremy is literally, I don’t know, maybe not thinking he was on camera or didn’t have his mic on or what. Still telling Brian, Hey, really interested in Suzy Still, I don’t think I see it with Bailey. He didn’t wanna win with Bailey. He literally said, I don’t wanna win with Bailey.
So again, I don’t know these people. But I know they’re still together. I mean, Jeremy and Bailey are literally in another country together right now. Not to mention the amount of times that they have posted post filming in the same exact location, NBA draft in LA like they are together all the time. So they’re clearly still together.
But you’re watching this and you’re going, is Bailey watching this? Are they gonna blame editing at some point? Because that’s usually the way it goes. Again, it was pretty clear as day what Jeremy said, and it looked like he didn’t think he was on camera. Didn’t he specifically say like, I wanna tell you this, with our mics off, and it wasn’t even caught on the mic, it was caught by literally the, the camera, mic, whatever the case.
He said he didn’t wanna win with Bailey. And now we know next episode, Brian is gonna be the one to tell Bailey what Jeremy said, which I believe is an effort to quote unquote win the game. So Jeremy isn’t doing himself any favors, but again. Just like Cat and Dale are still together. Jeremy and Bailey are still together.
I don’t think Brian and Parisa are together. In fact, I’m almost positive they’re not, but
it’s like, I don’t know. We’re just gonna have to wait until after the season when both of them, or inevitably one of them goes on a podcast. Probably Bachelor happy hour and explains. Their mindset of, and it’s gonna have to be Bailey ’cause Jeremy could easily explain it away and just blame editing. I’m curious to see what Bailey says and she can do whatever she wants with her life.
It doesn’t affect my life in any way, shape, or form, but I would run for the Hills if I were her. The Dale stuff is obviously interesting because Dale seems to be treating this as a game and. Again, I don’t know if him and or Kat are gonna blame editing for something like this, but if you’re Kat and you watch back this episode, and clearly Dale was caught on camera saying, yeah, I, you know, I’d love to go on a date.
Make Kat sweat a little bit. I mean, he did say it. We heard it. Now he can go to Kat and say, well, yeah, I was kidding, but it didn’t sound like he was kidding. Then Alicia sang. She had a date card. Dale’s like, yeah, take me. So again, I, I, I don’t know what’s going on with these people. I don’t know why they have blinders on to certain things.
I really do think these women can do so much better and they’re choosing not to, at least for the time being, but I. I say that now, but I think eventually, like does anybody honestly think that Jeremy and Bailey are gonna get married someday? Does anybody honestly think Dale and Kat are gonna get married someday?
The answer to me is no. So I guess it really doesn’t matter that they’re together right now because they’re not getting married, neither of them. So we can criticize them for staying with these guys and overlooking things and turning on their blinders. But when it’s all said and done, I don’t think either of those couples are getting married.
So what does it really matter? What does anything really matter in this world? You could look at anything and just be like, what does it matter? I don’t know. What, does it matter? Anything in reality tv? What does it matter? You know, they also showed the Brian and Parisa stuff I, why Brian couldn’t tell Parisa what his favorite color was.
Again, something I didn’t understand. Maybe there was editing involved in that, that we missed a conversation from earlier. Parisa was just having fun and Brian was being a douche canoe. I mean, I, they were such innocent, ridiculous questions. Why couldn’t he answer them? What was the big deal? I cannot, I’m starting to think that I might have aged out of this show ’cause I don’t understand these people anymore.
I feel like when I covered the show, you know, I’ve been covering this show since the early two thousands. Like I was literally covering the show when I was still in my twenties and now I’m 50. And I think there is a part of me that’s just like, I don’t get it. I, I feel like I have a pretty good eye and ear to the, you know, mid to late twenties, early thirties people.
Then I watch this show and I’m like, apparently I don’t because everything, I think these people do the opposite. So I don’t really know what to think about them anymore. And it’s kind of why, Hey, I’m just here for the spoilers. I’ll just give you the spoilers because it’s almost impossible to try and explain these people.
And I’m not gonna sit here and try and psychoanalyze them. I’m not gonna call them names. I’m not gonna jump down their throat for making stupid decisions. Unless there is a criminal activity taking place, or there is some major, major info that is not being released that I become privy to, that somebody’s willing to put their name behind.
It’s just kind of surface level for me now with this franchise here. Here’s the spoilers. Here’s who goes far. Here’s what happens. Just so you have an idea of what happens going into the season, but I think you’ve seen that in the last few years. I just don’t. I don’t really care as much about covering the episode itself and breaking down scenes.
It’s just we’re all looking at the same thing. And yeah, years ago, I absolutely did. I would write five pages on a recap the next day. There’s no need to do that anymore. There really isn’t.
