Daily Roundup 7/30 – The Valley Reunion Part 1, the McBee Dynasty is a Hot Mess, The Challenge “Premiere” is Tonight, Special Forces Season 4 Sets Premiere Date, & 3 New Celeb Couples This Week?

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve Podcast, I am your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Wednesday. A good show for you. We are going to talk about what’s possibly coming up on tomorrow’s weekly podcast. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this.

I’ll give you details in just a second. Sort of, we gotta talk about the Valley Reunion Show, part one last night, part one of three. So we still got two more weeks of this. We are also gonna talk about Mcbe Dynasty from Monday night because that was an absolute shit show when they went to the Ozarks. I also wanna talk about the challenge, which premieres tonight.

Yet, what the hell did I watch last week? Special Forces season four announced their premier date. We have the rumors of some of the cast that I Googled. I have no idea how true it is, and we’ve got some new celebrity dating things possibly happening. One, apparently solid couple and two that have been seen together.

Interesting stuff. So let’s get started. You know me when it comes to potential weekly interviews until I have it recorded. I don’t like to jinx it, but what I am gonna say is I am set to record today at noon, and no, this has nothing to do with anything bachelor related. However, it is very, very interesting to me because I binged this show this past weekend because.

I knew I might be having this person on, so I was like, I might wanna watch their season. I don’t wanna give any hints until I know it’s recorded. I don’t want to do anything. And look, it might not be of interest to 25% of you, 50% of you, 75% of you, 75% of you. I don’t know. I think you’ll be interested in it.

And even if you haven’t watched the show. I think if you listen to the interview, you’ll want to go watch the show just based on, even though we haven’t recorded it yet, based on what I know they are going to talk about what I’m going to ask them because they are someone who played a fairly integral role in one of the main storylines of a reality show this summer.

It’s the best that I can give you right now, but just know again, it’s not like you’ll have to have watched the show. But, and it’s not bachelor related. Nothing to do with Bachelor World, nothing to do with Love Island. No, I didn’t binge that. But I did binge a show this weekend because I was immediately hooked.

And not only did I binge it, I then went out, went down a deep, deep rabbit hole because I needed to know more. I needed to read what people said about this. After it came out, I needed to go on message boards to look at what some of the dirt was on this. So I hope this interview comes off as of my recording this on Tuesday night.

I have just emailed with them and they said good to go for tomorrow. Pretty solid. It’s going to happen, but I just want to give you a heads up. I am so looking forward to this week’s weekly podcast, which would be number 4 54. I can’t wait. Can’t wait to talk to this particular person and discuss what I binged this weekend because I, I hate, I, I, I’m obsessed.

I’m literally obsessed now with this show, and, yeah, went down a giant rabbit hole after watching, so you’ll know tomorrow if it goes down. And shit it better because if they somehow cancel out or postpone the interview I’m gonna have to find somebody tomorrow afternoon to record with the Valley reunion episode number one.

I feel like we got a lot of the good stuff in the trailer and the teasers they’ve been releasing for the last week. Not saying it wasn’t interesting. I also feel like while Andy Cohen does ask a lot of good questions, the one thing that does bother me technically about Andy is I feel like there are follow ups he can go with that he doesn’t.

He’ll ask Jesse something, Michelle will respond and it just ends there. Now, trust me. It very well could be editing because maybe that conversation went on for another five minutes and a back and forth between Jesse and Michelle. They had to stop it somewhere. So it’s very possible that’s the case. But I felt like there were times where Michelle would say something, or Jax would say something, or Brittany would say something and then it would just stop there, and I’m like, no, you gotta follow with that.

They just left the door open for you to follow with, and he didn’t. Some things that were discussed that I do want to talk about in the episode. Obviously this was filmed back in March. I pres, I posed this question either earlier this week or late last week. I was like, you know what? It kind of sucks because why did they film this reunion show probably five episodes into the season?

They filmed it in March. The season didn’t end film March or April, and the season didn’t end till last week. It’s like, and a few of you reached out to me and said it was because Nia and Kristen were pregnant and they were due in June and they didn’t wanna record while those two were possibly going to be delivering.

And it’s like, yeah, I guess. But the finale aired last Wednesday. Looking back on it, technically didn’t those women deliver first, second week of June? I mean, their babies would’ve been a month old. They could have gone to filming for a day if you would’ve filmed the reunion show two weeks ago. It’s whatever.

At this point, I, that was just my open concern is this reunion show is gonna kind of be outdated. And honestly, everything they said in last night’s reunion episode, I’ve heard each of them say at some point when they were on watch what Happens Live while the season was airing, all of that. None of that was new.

Jacks, Jesse, Michelle, Brittany, Janet, Jason, Jasmine, Zach, Luke, Kristen. They’ve all been on Watch What Happens Live this season, which was airing while the show was airing. So that was all post reunion filming. So I’ve gotten updates on all of them. So I’m not saying the reunion show sucked, but the timing of it kind of does.

Because it’s a little bit outdated and things have happened since this reunion show. I think one of the first things that Andy even asked was, Hey Michelle, how are things going with Aaron? Great. I just moved in. Well, we just found out last week they broke up. So that ended up being a big giant nothing burger was it?

Really smart. Look, I, I think Janet looks great. She absolutely looks great. But was it really smart of her to answer when Andy told her, how do you look so good? And she said, Adderall and Pilates. Is that the right answer to give? Is that the answer you want to give to young, impressionable girls out there that are watching this show?

You realize Adderall is not a weight loss drug. It has never been approved as a weight loss drug by the FDA, and you shouldn’t be taking Adderall to lose weight. I thought that was a horrible answer by Janet. Janet and Jason were not a big part of last night’s episode. Really, if you think about it. I mean, this was, this was Jesse, Michelle, Brittany, jacks a little bit of Kristen, barely any Luke and Janet and Jason, and Jasmine and Zach did not have their day.

I’m sure they’re gonna get way more time in episodes, in reunion episodes part two and three, but. Last night was mostly about Brittany and Jax and Michelle and Jesse. I mean the Brittany and Jack stuff. A lot of it we saw in the trailers and the teasers. But you know, to find out that he was stalling the divorce because he admitted he was scared to get the boot from the show.

So he needed to time to figure out whether or not he was gonna go after Brittany for alimony, like Jax, even if clearly that was what you were doing. Why is this guy so stupid to admit that openly and you wonder why people don’t like you? You know how vindictive that is. You know how petty that is? My God, I can’t believe he admitted that out loud.

But then again, it’s Jax Taylor, nothing. And I mean, absolutely nothing is off the table when it comes to Jax Taylor. Nothing. I cannot believe that guy sat up there and said, yeah. I’m stalling the divorce because I was thinking I might get fired from the show, which he eventually did, and I just needed time to figure out if I was gonna go after Britney for alimony.
