We’ll talk about it.
We’ll also talk spoilers of what’s going on with Power of Veto. That’s where the craziness is happening. I do want to talk about that. Caitlin Bristow, Colton Underwood reality show coming out soon called Are You My First, because I saw another article on it about it this weekend, and I’ve got more thoughts.
I saw another movie this weekend that I definitely want to give my opinion on without necessarily giving spoilers out. And I also wanna share with you why my brain is not working, and we’ll get to all that right now. Let’s get started. All right. Last week I mentioned, you said it on Thursday or Friday. I said I started digging behind the scenes.
What’s going on? Any rumblings about a Bachelor in Paradise reunion show? Is it gonna happen? And I told you guys not hearing anything. Well, literally the next day I was like, it’s on. So there will be a Bachelor in Paradise reunion show. I do not believe it’s going to be live, meaning. Once the final episode airs whenever that may be.
’cause a BC still has not announced when the finale is airing, but we’ve been over this. When it comes to the finale, it has to finish before September 8th, ’cause starting on September 8th, that is Monday Night Football, the first game of the season. And they are not going to obviously have a b, C available because September 8th, the first Monday night football game of the season is also going to be simulcast on both ESPN and a BC.
So. If you finish it the week before on September 1st, that’s Labor Day. But if you move it to the second, you’ve basically aired all season on Monday. To move your finale to a Tuesday on the second really wouldn’t make much sense. But I’m not them. The ratings for this season, the overnight ratings at least, are in the toilet anyway, so maybe it doesn’t even matter when they freaking air this thing because nobody’s watching.
I mean, you look at, and we went over this, I can’t remember who my Thursday weekly guest was, but we went over this kind of, I don’t know, two or three weeks ago, and I was like, look, do you see all the people online saying, oh, bachelor Paradise contestants, they just go on for the clout. They just go on to gain Instagram followers.
Like, I don’t know what to tell you people, but that’s about as ignorant of statement as you can make because you don’t get Instagram followers going on this franchise anymore. You need to go on Netflix shows you need to go on MTV, you need to go on traders. That’s how you build a brand. That’s how you build followers.
Like I, I think, you know, let’s, I would, it’d be fair to say that Cat and Dale are probably the two most. Noteworthy people on the show. Biggest names on the show, right? I, I don’t have the exact numbers in front of me, but I remember looking at Kat’s numbers over the weekend. She’s gained like 11,000 followers since the season started.
That dude, Jeremiah from Love Island, didn’t he only last like half the season? I remember looking at Bachelor data’s information. He came on the show with like 4,000 followers and he lasted, what, half the season and now he’s got like 2.1 million. I’m sorry. The days of showing up on this show and getting to the Final Four and guaranteeing yourself 500,000, 750,000 followers are so far gone.
It just doesn’t happen anymore. And Bachelor Paradise, I mean, has anybody on this show really gained anything significant this year? I’d have to go to bachelor data with that info, but I, I, I don’t know, but just know anybody who says, oh, I’m sick of these people going on for clout and Instagram followers, they’re not.
And if they think they are, then maybe they’re the ignorant ones because it’s just not happening. It doesn’t happen with this franchise anymore. So in a roundabout way. Just know there is a Bachelor in Paradise reunion show that is going to be a part of this season. I do not believe it’s live. I do think they are taping it and it’ll air after the final episode airs, whenever that may be.
Maybe the finale is going to air on Monday, September 1st, which is Labor Day, and then they’re gonna air the reunion the next night. We don’t know ’cause A, B, C hasn’t released the schedule yet, but we should know within the next couple weeks and I will be able to pin down when they’re filming this thing or on the small chance they’re doing it live.
But I really don’t think they are Big brother last night. I think it’s fair to say finally this game has started. It’s been kind of interesting for the first four eliminations. Jimmy was probably the most interesting elimination because he wasn’t originally up on the block and then he got put up after Keanu won Power Veto and he ends up going home.
But we were basically seeing some form of Keanu and or Kelly on the block every week, and I said it at the end of last week, I think in Friday’s podcast. I was like, look, I don’t know who’s won HOH yet. ’cause I recorded it Thursday night and. I just hope we get a switch up because seeing Keanu and or Kelly on the block every week is just, it’s boring.
Well, you saw the episode last night. Everyone basically stayed away from Ava ’cause they don’t think she’s a threat during the HOH competition, which was the knockout performance. And Ava ends up winning it and Ava puts up Zach, Keanu and Vince or Vinny now. Today we find out, oh yeah. And by the way, we are gonna talk spoilers now.
So those are your three that are on the block spoilers. Now, if you don’t wanna know who won Power of Veto, that’s coming in three, two, and one. Catherine of all people, one power of veto. Now here’s what we don’t remember, even though Zach said it at the end of the episode. I knew it ’cause I was reading the recaps of what was happening on the live feeds, but Zach did mention it.
I think it’s the last confessional we saw last night. Remember, Zach has a power that he can give up his veto, but also give $10,000 that he won to the current HOH. So Zach can play it. But reading what everybody is saying there, it doesn’t seem like he has the votes to go home. So if he doesn’t think he’s going home, why would he use it?
Now granted, you’re definitely putting yourself, it’s definitely a risk. ’cause you never know. Votes can change. But let’s just say Zach uses the power of veto. Or not. Power of Veto. He doesn’t have the power of veto. He has a power that can take himself off the veto, but in turn, he has to give up the $10,000 he won and give it to the current HOH, which is Ava.
Catherine, as of this recording, isn’t planning on using the Power of Veto for the first time this season, it’s not going to be used, so your nominees are gonna stay. Keanu, Zach, and Vinny.
