Daily Roundup 8/13 – The Valley’s Final Reunion Episode, BIP Contestants Going Hard on IG, Kelce Brothers Podcast with Taylor Might Break the Internet Tonight, & Goodbye To An Ol’ Standby

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality. Steve Podcast, I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Wednesday. Finally, the valley is over. Three part reunion. Felt like a 30 part reunion, but it is now over. We are gonna talk about part three that happened last night.

Got some thoughts on that. We are also gonna talk about what some of the Bachelor and Paradises contestants are saying on social media, because yesterday it definitely took a turn for quite a few people. We’re also gonna discuss Taylor Swift. Maybe when I recorded on Tuesday night, I should have waited till after 12.

12 in the morning. I only had a portion of the story, but something very interesting is happening today, which we will get to, and then we gotta pour one out for an all time classic that is being shut down next month. We’ll get to all that right now. Let’s get started. Begin by talking about the Valley.

Part three of the reunion show happened last night. And once again, I feel like not a lot was resolved again, with these reunion shows. A lot of editing, a lot of jump cuts in the editing. We get a good question by Andy, and then we just get facial expressions from some people or somebody will answer and you’re like, Andy, follow up on that.

That was a good answer. Now ask the next follow up question and we don’t get it. So I’m sitting here going, what the hell is this? What are we doing? What are we doing here? Let’s get some answers. And I feel like we get partial answers. You know, like perfect example. In the very beginning they were talking about Danny’s drinking.

Shocker seemed to be the theme of the season for Janet and Jason and Janet. Uttered the phrase, he’s done things other times. Okay. That’s such a general and generic statement when you’re literally accusing a guy of sexual assault or as Jason put it, sexual battery. Okay? He’s done things other times. Okay, what are those things and what were the times?

It’s that simple. I am not sitting here saying Janet is lying out of her teeth. And I’m not sitting here saying, Danny definitely didn’t do those things. ’cause I don’t know. But I don’t have a lot to work off of. None of us have a lot to work off of when Janet is sitting there saying he’s done things other times, you gotta give us examples, say.

When he did it, who he did it to, what he did, and at what event this happened. I, I, I just think they could have really gotten a little bit more resolved on the Danny drinking part, and then Jason even chimed in and said, Hey, everyone on this stage has a problem with alcohol. Whoa, whoa, whoa. What? That seemed like a pretty bold statement to make.

I think Kristen called him out for it. Like, Jason, you can’t just say, everybody here has a problem with alcohol and just leave it at that. Well, what do you mean? Hell, when Jason was confronted about it, it sounded like he had a problem and he had to learn how to keep it under control, but it never went any deeper than that.

I thought that was a very telling statement by Jason that Andy didn’t follow up on. Kristen followed up on it, and then they seemed to just push past it. That’s a pretty strong accusation to make and yes, there are clearly levels to drinking. Nobody, as far as I know on that stage, drinks at the level of a Jax Taylor, so he’s like tier one on my Sports Daily podcast today.

Talk about. Tiers of quarterbacks. Tier one, tier two, tier three. In the NFL. Jax Taylor is the Patrick Mahomes of drinking, that’s for sure. And he’s tier one. But what does Jason mean by everyone on the stage has a problem with alcohol? I think you can say everyone on the stage drinks every once in a while and every once in a while somebody might get a little mouthy when they drink.

But that’s different than Jax Taylor. That was a hell of a statement to throw out there that I don’t feel like we got enough follow up on. I really don’t. And we know this was filmed in March and Andy called Jax out for his burner account where he said he was Frank Drummond and Andy kept calling him Frank Drummond and then Jax corrects him and said, no, no, no.

It’s Frank Drummond and both of them are wrong. We already know they’ve already corrected this because when Jack’s the first time he was on Watch what Happens Live earlier this season when the episodes were airing, Andy confronted him on it and said, you keep saying Frank d Drummond, but who is that? Oh, that’s Leslie Nielsen’s character from the Naked Gun.

No, his name was Frank Drebin. So even on a burner account, jacks couldn’t get it right. Now, this was obviously filmed before they corrected him on watch What Happens Live, but it was just funny to see them go over that last night and both of them continuously mispronouncing the name that Jax was going for on his burner account.

And he’s like, Frank Dreman. He’s like, no, Frank Drummond neither. It’s Frank Drebin, Lieutenant Frank Drebin Police Squad, and Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. Played by Liam Neeson. It was in the most recently released Naked Gun. I said this a few weeks ago, and I’m gonna say it again after watching last night, because after you watched last night, pretty much everybody on that stage was jumping down Janet’s throat and rightfully so.

She had a bad season, a very bad season. But I’m gonna say this, I don’t know if Season three has started filming, if it hasn’t. They’re starting to film soon for sure, because I’m pretty sure season two that we just watched of the Valley started filming end of July last year for like a month or six weeks.

So we should be in season threes filming right now. I haven’t seen anything in terms of reports or videos or pictures getting out of filming happening, but I don’t really follow Valley off season stuff. But here’s what I’m gonna say, because Kristen and Janet were the two biggest headbutts of the season.

And possibly, I guess you could say Nia, Janet, Danny, Janet, I, I, at some point next season, I’m just going to predict, I don’t know how we’re gonna get there. I don’t know what’s gonna be said or what’s gonna be done, but at some point next season, I guarantee there’s going to be a conversation between Kristen and Janet and they will be sitting there saying, oh my gosh.

Can you believe? Could you’ve ever predicted you and I being friends? I know it’s coming because that’s kind of the way these shows work. You’re just not gonna get the same rivalries every single season. ’cause then it gets tired. You have to create new feuds. Like we saw the end of the season. Brittany and Zach get into it in the final episode and they said last night, Hey, we made up.

We’re good now. And they’ve said that post show on watch what Happens Live. They were on the last watch. What Happens Live that had Valley contestants on it. But you gotta pick new feuds every season. You know Jesse and Michelle going at each other every season. Brittany has nobody to feud with next season with Jack’s Gone.

We know he is not in season three, so they’re gonna have to have Brittany get mad at or fight somebody. Maybe it’s for an episode, maybe it’s for five episodes, but I’m just saying because Janet was so hated this season. I guarantee you at some point next season, she will be in a one-on-one conversation at a restaurant on somebody’s couch, whatever the case may be.

Probably be Kristen, maybe it’s Nia. But they’re sitting there talking to each other saying, can you believe where we’re at right now? After what happened last season? They’ll somehow make up and get to a point where they will side with each other versus somebody else, whether it’s Jasmine, whether it’s Michelle, whether it’s Brittany guarantee.

Mark my words. August 13th, 2025. You know, we’re not gonna get the valley until 2026, but somehow, if you can remember, podcast from August 13th, 2025. You heard it here first. Janet will absolutely befriend one of the two, and they’ll have a conversation about, can you believe we’re here after all that happened last season?
