So social media was a pretty big deal yesterday in the Bachelor in Paradise World. As Bailey took to Instagram, Jeremy took to Instagram, Andrew took to Instagram or took to Twitter.
Actually, Bailey responded to Andrew’s tweets and Jeremy put out something of his own. I’m just gonna read what Jeremy wrote on his Instagram, which was followed by a carousel of pictures of him with Bailey. Clearly they are together. I can report. That’s not any news to anybody. If you heard Bailey on any podcast appearances, she’s done.
If you look at her Instagram account, the fact that both of them were in Portugal recently, and then Jeremy posts this yesterday, it’s clear as day. They’re not trying to hide the fact that they are together. But Jeremy said this, watching the past few weeks back has been tough. A lot of what’s aired doesn’t show the full story, the small, meaningful moments or important conversations that brought Bailey and I closer.
Our relationship grew so much beyond the 0.1% of what’s shown on tv, but unfortunately, so much of the focus has been on a small part of what we actually experienced in Paradise. My time on the beach wasn’t perfect. There were many ups and downs, and I’ll own the mistakes I made at the end of the day, only Bailey, and I know the reality of what we went through, and I hope people can respect that.
Okay. Here’s the issue that I have with what Jeremy just wrote there. We know that TV doesn’t cover everything. Do I think we’re only getting 0.1% of Jeremy and Bailey’s relationship? No, I don’t. He’s trying to minimize it as much as he can to make it seem like, oh my gosh, you guys don’t even know half the stuff.
And I, and I do agree with him when he says it’s not catching our meaningful moments or important conversations. Yeah, I’m sure it isn’t because those are boring television. They just are. You’re acting like you went on a show not knowing they were gonna focus on drama and pettiness. Wake up Jeremy. Now with that said, here’s the other thing I have an issue with.
So much of the focus has been a small part of what we actually experienced in Paradise. I don’t know if you would call that a small part. A girl came on the show. You went on a date with her, a guy came on the show, Bailey went on a date with him, and you got mad at her. Then you went on a date with that girl.
Things went great. You thought Justin was gonna give her a rose and she was gonna stay and you were gonna have two options there in Costa Rica, but Justin didn’t give her a rose or she rejected Justin’s rose and you only had one option left. So what did you do? You didn’t go back to your room and say, you know what?
While I had a great time with Susie, I’m focusing all my attention on Bailey. No, that’s not what you did. You went back to your room and you begged for Susie to come back. Okay. You weren’t begging and pleading, but you know what I mean. You called her when she was at the airport and asked her to come back and she said no.
And then even after that, you were telling Brian in the hotel and you were telling a group of guys in the pool. Hey. When this is over. Yeah, definitely hitting up Susie, going into her dms. It’s like, Jeremy, what do you want? Amer? Like, what do you want America’s response to be? To how you acted? And yes, I understand you and Bailey are together right now.
You’ve gotten over this and you’re probably excusing that by saying, Hey, you’re not seeing the conversations we had about this. That’s fine, but you’re also downplaying what you did there. You are saying, I’ll own the mistakes I made. There were many ups and downs. My time wasn’t perfect. I’ll own the mistakes I made, but then you follow it up with, but hey, you guys don’t know what Bailey and I have talked about.
It’s all good. Again, like with anything involving this show, I guess we can talk about it till we’re blue in the face and none of it matters because Bailey’s forgiven you. Right? But you’re acting like we’re not allowed to have opinions on this. It’s not like reality. Steve’s the only one saying, Bailey, what are you doing?
Basically everyone and their mother is saying, Bailey, what are you doing taking this guy back? So Jeremy and Bailey have their own life. They can do whatever they want. Bailey can take him back with really no repercussions whatsoever because she forgave him pretty quickly from what we saw on the episode.
Am I wrong? I don’t think so. So Bailey takes him back fairly quickly, which is something, Jeremy, you should be thanking the Lord above that she did, and you guys are clearly together. You’ve been together ever since the end of May when filming ended. I get it. And things are probably better between you guys and now you have to rewatch it and relive it, and you basically don’t want any criticism and you can’t take any sort of negativity.
Do I think you should be getting death threats? No. Do I think should be, you should be getting called names. No, but you are allowed, we are allowed, as content creators, podcasters, bloggers, whatever. We are allowed to give our opinion and say, you know what, Bailey, I don’t know how much you knew out there, but now that you’re seeing it play out, are you really, really going to invest that much time into this guy?
Also, this is a long distance relationship. I don’t know what their plans are. I don’t know if Jeremy’s planning on moving to Atlanta or vice versa. She’s gonna move to, I think he lives in New York. I have no idea what these two’s plans are, but we’re allowed
to comment and give our opinions on what we think about this couple currently and a possible future between them. Now if you guys stay together and get married and you stay together and married until one of you die, then I guess you proved us wrong, but you’re acting like we’re not allowed to comment because we don’t know the full story.
We’re only commenting on the stuff that we saw. It’s not like we’re outta line for saying, Jeremy, you called Susie and asked her to come back. If she would’ve said yes, my guess is you would’ve been with Susie and not Bailey. Just because you’re with Bailey now and, oh, guys, you’re, you’re focusing on something that doesn’t matter anymore.
I’m with Bailey. Yeah, you’re with Bailey because Susie told you no, he just doesn’t get it. He really doesn’t. So that’s where I stand on all this again, doesn’t matter because I already know what these two are thinking. Hey, we’re together. The Susie thing is dead and buried, whatever. We’re moving on. But in the same time, we wanna criticize everybody who’s criticizing us now.
It doesn’t work that way. And go on Bailey’s Instagram story from yesterday. It might not still be up anymore, but her response to Andrew’s tweet is once again further proof that she’s sticking right by Jeremy side. Again, it’s whatever at this point. So yesterday’s podcast I recorded about 11, 11 30 on Monday night.
Maybe I should have waited until 1212 in the morning Tuesday morning, because that’s when Taylor Swift had her big announcement. And by the time I had recorded my podcast, I hadn’t even seen the clip released by, released by the New Heights podcast. So the New Heights podcast is a podcast hosted by Travis Kelsey and his brother Jason Kelsey.
It’s a very popular podcast, but they haven’t had a new episode in a while. Couple months, I think, but tonight. 7:00 PM Eastern might break the internet because they teased an interview with somebody. It was clearly Taylor’s silhouette, but after I recorded last night, they released two clips from it.
Number one, a 13 second clip of Travis and Taylor together and Jason on the other video screen, obviously at his home and. It confirmed what pretty much everybody knew that Taylor was gonna be the guest on New Heights, and then at 12:12 AM they released another clip, which is Taylor saying, I have a new album coming out called The Life of a Showgirl.
Probably not coming out till October, but now everybody’s dissecting everything that she has done. On the ERAS tour and all this, I’m not gonna get into all that stuff. You know, song titles and all this. There’s apparently a leak of all the 12 songs that are on this album. I have no idea. I I love Taylor Swift.
I will listen to the album the second it comes out. But for the ne, until that album comes out, I am not engaging in any sort of, oh, what about this clue? And what about this clue that’s for the crazy diehards. So I’m not gonna do that. It’s not something that I care to do, but here’s what I find very, very interesting.
Today’s podcast on The New Heights. Do you understand what a big deal this is? In the Taylor Swift world? Taylor Swift has dated numerous men. I mean, you know, you know their list of names. Taylor Lautner, one of the Jonas brothers, Tom Hiddleston the, the DJ from Vegas. I mean, so many people, Joe Alwin.
Name me one time in the history of Taylor Swift’s boyfriends. She has ever done an interview with that person. Hell, has she ever done an interview talking about her boyfriend by name? Now she might talk about things are great. I’m really enjoying life right now. Having a great time. Generic. She has never said, you know.
She’s certainly never done an interview where she was sitting with the guy that she was currently dating, whether she’s done plenty of interviews, Diane Sawyer and Barbara Walters, she’s done plenty of interviews, but it’s usually talking about her music. They’ll ask about the love life, but she never gave any details.
Do you understand how big of a deal this is? These two have been dating for two years now, and tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern Time on the New Heights Podcast on YouTube and in your podcast feed. We’re gonna see Taylor Swift sitting next to her boyfriend and talking to her boyfriend for the first time ever, ever.
We have never publicly seen her with her boyfriend in an interview fashion. Clearly we’ve seen her with Travis backstage. We’ve seen her with Travis on stage. We’ve seen them walking in and out of restaurants, but we’ve never seen Taylor Swift sitting down with her boyfriend talking about their relationship.
It’s never happened, and this is a woman that has been so protective of her relationships her whole life. That’s why this is a big fucking deal. She’s never done an interview, never done a podcast. She’s never talked about him publicly, any of her boyfriends. And now she’s just gonna go on a podcast and sit next to her boyfriend.
Yeah, she’ll talk about her new album, but they’ll probably talk about their life. How things are between them. When they released that 13 second clip, do you realize that was the first time we’ve ever seen these two interact? We have no idea how they talk to each other. We’ve seen videos of them interacting backstage at the US Open, walking in and out of a restaurant, but we didn’t have a microphone on what they were saying to each other.
We got a 13 second clip yesterday and everyone’s freaking out like, oh my gosh. Look at how nice he is to her. I, I, I would hope so. He’s her boyfriend. Like the bar that we set in this country right now for what’s co constitutes a good relationship. People got 13 seconds yesterday and absolutely think that Travis Kel walks on water Now.
It’s like, let’s tap the brakes a little bit. Regardless, I think it’s, this is huge. This is huge in the Taylor Swift world. How can it not be? The girl has never, ever talked about a boyfriend publicly by name or sitting next to him in an interview, and we’re getting that tonight at six o’clock. Vegas has already set the over under on how many downloads that YouTube is gonna get tonight.
I think they said it at a hundred million. I wouldn’t be surprised if it, it eclipsed that everybody and their mother is going to be watching the New Heights YouTube video tonight at 7:00 PM Eastern because. Until the other night when they released a 13 second clip of each other and then her releasing her album name.
We’ve never seen these two interact publicly together Tonight we will. And finally, I mentioned in the open, let’s pour one out for an old standby. I didn’t even know this was still a thing, but A OL America online. On September 30th of this year, they are ending their dial up service after 35 years. Wait a second.
A OL still had dialup service. I’ll tell you right now, I have two email addresses, Steve, at reality steve.com, which is my main email, email address, the only other email address that I use, and that’s the one I give out when I sign up for things online or whatever. Is an a OL account. I might be one of the few that even uses a OL anymore, but I don’t think this means a OL is going away or I, I don’t know what a OL ending their dialup service after 35 years technically means.
’cause I thought their dialup service ended 30 years ago. I, I didn’t even know this is still a thing. People literally still dial up and try and get a OL on their computer. I’m totally confused. I hope this doesn’t mean my a OL email address is gone. ’cause that still has a lot of stuff that I book under that email address.
It’s the email address I give out when I know people are just gonna constantly send me stuff. So I hope that doesn’t go away. But yeah, I read a story yesterday. AOL’s dial up service ending after 35 years on September 30th. Does that mean we can’t go into chat rooms anymore on a OL? Man, I can’t remember what my chat room screen name was.
Everybody had one. I mean this. Remember those? I mean, we were in them. If you say you weren’t in an A OL chat room, you’re lying. Everybody was in ’em in the early nineties. What was my screen name? Ah, I don’t think it was, honestly, I don’t think it was anything creative. It might have been my email address.
That was before the@aol.com. Huh. Anyway but I remember those rooms so much. Oh, the fun we had in those things. Goodbye. A OL Apparently your dial of service has been around for 35 years.
