Daily Roundup 11/17 – Bachelorette Vegas Filming & Another Group Audience Cancelled, BravoCon, Patreon Channel Launching This Week, IG Update, & another Back to the Future Email

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. We’re gonna talk a little bit about the bachelorette filming in Las Vegas. I not a whole lot of news to report there outside of the weather. ’cause you know what else was there this weekend?

Bravo Con. We’ll briefly discuss that. I’ve got some more news coming this week in regards to my Patreon channel. I, I’ve got another back to the future email to read you, which is relevant to my Patreon channel launching this week and. Instagram update that I must have missed, and I don’t know if it kicks in for everybody at the same time, but I just noticed something two days ago that I did not notice for the longest time.

So we’ll get to all that momentarily. As you know Taylor, Frankie Paul’s season. Filmed this weekend and is still filming today. Yesterday was a group date that was open to the public, supposedly. I’ll tell you why I say that, because they were in Las Vegas this weekend. Dates Saturday, yesterday, and today Rose ceremony tomorrow, and then they head out Wednesday for Miami now.

The interesting thing about Las Vegas and the group date yesterday, I haven’t heard anything in regards to the group date, but I did hear something about the group date that was supposed to be public last Monday in Clark, Colorado. The one where they had people email in to be a part of an audience group date in Colorado.

Well, for the second time this season, those people got an email the night before that said. We are not having an audience for tomorrow’s date. Sorry for the inconvenience. Didn’t give them a reason why. Now we suspected the one in LA got canceled because it happened to be the day the Dodgers had a parade, and there was probably a lot of people that couldn’t get through the traffic considering roads were closed.

It wasn’t just. Oh, we’ve got a lot of cars on the road. In Los Angeles, no roads were closed because that was the day of the Dodgers parade, and at the time that A, B, C and the Bachelorette announced, Hey, we’re gonna have a public date that people can attend, they had no idea. The Dodgers were gonna be having a parade on that day, so that’s probably why that one was canceled.

There was another one, two days later that was a group day that was open to the public. Nothing about that has gotten out. I can tell you though, the one that was supposed to be in Colorado, they canceled the audience portion of it, so I’m not really sure why or. The reasoning for it. But when they were in Colorado, again, they were in Clark, Colorado, which is about, I think I was told three hours away from Denver.

They were relegated to the mountains, so I wouldn’t have expected outside of that date, I wouldn’t have expected anybody to see them filming there. And

you saw Taylor, Frankie Paul posting on her Instagram stories, and even Jesse Palmer, I believe in one of his stories. That she was out basically in the mountains and staying in a, in a cabin. So after that, they went to Las Vegas this weekend. What’s interesting is, as we know, Las Vegas this weekend had Bravo Con, which is something that I’ve never attended because I think I watch one Bravo show and that’s the Valley.

’cause I don’t watch any of the Housewives shows and. I guess Vanderpump, but that’s not on anymore. I know the new one is starting, is it starting in 20 end of 2025 or beginning of 2026? We’ve seen the trailer for it. I think it starts next year at some point, and I’ll probably give it a whirl first few episodes, but the only show I really watch in Bravo Land is the Valley and the Valley.

Had their own little panel at Bravo Con. A lot of ’em talked about how, I guess this is a much lighter season because Jax isn’t around and he doesn’t bring the show down. In the interviews that I saw, I’m sure there’s gonna be drama. There’s drama every season on the valley, but nothing major came out of it in terms of them teasing a giant storyline.

Yeah, they said, I even heard Jesse say it’s a lot more fun. His girlfriend is probably gonna get camera time on this season. Um, Michelle’s breakup with Aaron is probably going to get covered. That’s his name, right? Aaron? The guy with the eyes. Well, everyone has eyes, but you know what I mean when I say Aaron with the eyes, right?

I believe that’s his name, but I’m sure that’ll get covered in season three. They are done filming season three. Of the Valley. Probably not gonna get it till March. Right. It’s usually when they start airing. It usually goes from March to May and then they film like July, August till September, whatever.

It’s just crazy that they film a show that it makes it seem like it lasts a long time. It really doesn’t. It literally covers a couple months in the summer and that’s it. I feel like we should be getting the Valley more than once a season. Or once a calendar year, you know, but Bravocon took place this weekend.

I’m sure if you follow a lot of influencers, you saw their reports from there. Again, it, it didn’t really interest me ’cause I only watch one show and I. One thing from the bachelor world that got announced this weekend, even though this had gotten out in a spoiler a couple months ago because she was seen filming.

But Ashley I from Chris Souls season and married to Jared and co-host of the Almost famous podcast. What was rumored is now official. She is a new cast member on the new season or the very first season of Real Housewives of Rhode Island. And I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart, I will absolutely watch zero seconds of that show.

And it really has nothing to do with Ashley. I’ve never watched a housewife show. Why would I watch a new one from Rhode Island? It just doesn’t interest me. I’m sure there will be plenty of clips that show up on my Instagram page and plenty of clips that show up on my TikTok page, hell in the trailer that I saw for it.

Ashley’s crying in numerous different scenes, and the other women are talking about how Leigh cries, so I’m not saying I’m not watching it because of her, but it just. That Whole Housewives franchise, all of them, they just don’t interest me because it’s no different than other reality shows in that they’re contrived scenes.

Ashley knows to go on that show. She needs to cry, she’s gonna wanna cry, and they’re probably telling her to cry and ham it up for the cameras, which is what she does. She’s always done that. So I just think I have no interest in watching the show. I’m just not interested. But I’m sure a lot of you out there will.

And it’s just another Housewives franchise to add to the mix. I dunno how people keep up with all these, like do people who watch the Housewives franchise really watch all, how many different cities are there? Seven, eight, now nine. Do they, do most people watch all of them or do they choose like two or three that they really like?

There’s nobody that’s really catching every single Housewives franchise. Right. That would be kind of weird. I actually take it back. There is one season of Housewives that I watched, one city that I watched. I actually watched the Dallas one for the first two seasons. I even gave up on that one, and I don’t even remember why.

I just did. I just stopped. I can’t even remember if they had three or four seasons of Dallas either way. So I have watched a. Housewives franchise and it was that one. But I think most people that have watched the Housewives franchises can probably admit that was one of the worst ones, isn’t it? The one that has had the least amount of seasons.

’cause they only had three or four, I would think every other one has had at least three or four seasons, I believe. But I just, I, I couldn’t get into it because it seems like it’s the same thing. These are staged events. Staged galas, staged birthdays, parties, staged girls trips, and as I’ve said all the time when it comes to these shows, a lot of the drama is staged because if on these housewives shows is every one of these women got together and had a great time and all were BFFs, it would be the most boring show on television.

But you have to have people on there that are going to stir the pot and upset people and cause drama and it just, it’s, look, I understand. I watch other reality TV shows that are contrived, but those are just as contrived, if not more than the competition shows that I watch. So I win. So this is gonna be a big week.
