You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality C Podcast. I’m your host reality. Steve, thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. Good show for you. Nothing new to report in Bachelorette world. I have no idea, and none of Taylor, Frankie Paul’s hometown dates, how many, however many she’s had up to this point have gotten out publicly.
I do think I know who one of them is, but I have no proof of it. It’s just based on hearsay and stuff like that. So I’ll just leave it at that. If I can get it confirmed, obviously, I’ll let you know, but nothing to confirm. As of right now, I’m gonna tell you what the live rewatch is on Patreon this week.
Today is Cyber Monday after Black Friday. I get confused on all the sale days of the year. Couple dance with the stars stories for you. Did Whitney Carson throw shade at Dylan? Rin? Did Alex Earl break up with her boyfriend, Braxton Barrios And we’ve got box office numbers from this past weekend. So let’s get started.
As I said, nothing to report in bachelorette land. I don’t know who any of the four hometown dates are based on what Taylor has posted over the weekend. Seems like maybe she’s done two so far and she’s not posting in the locations with any guys, but I think they took, usually hometowns are hometown day off, hometown day off, hometown, day off.
I don’t get the sense that they did that this year. I think there was a couple days off because Thursday was Thanksgiving and I don’t think they filmed a hometown date on Thanksgiving, and I also don’t think they filmed one on Friday, the day after. But again, once I get the information, like I said in the open, I think I know who one of ’em is.
Pretty sure. I just have no proof of it. And I have nothing to back it up. It’s just, it, it’s, it’s hard to describe, but it’s basically and it’s just one. So, I could be wrong. So I will let you know once I am able to get anything confirmed from her hometown dates. So every week I’m gonna be doing a live rewatch.
Some weeks I’ll have two live Rees, but I am gonna do a live rewatch this week. It’s gonna be another television episode, and I’m gonna be doing it Wednesday at 3:00 PM Eastern time, same as I did last week. Last week I did it on Tuesday this week I’m doing it on Wednesday at 3:00 PM Eastern time. Would be two central, one Mountain and noon Pacific.
And we are going to watch season six, episode 10 of Beverly Hills 9 0 2 1 oh. For those that aren’t familiar with that episode, that is Dylan McKay slash Luke Perry’s final episode on 9 0 2 1 oh. Well before he came back in season nine, but. That was supposed to be it, and it wrapped up 10 of the best episodes and the best storyline, I think in that show’s history.
And that was Dylan’s marriage to Tony Marette, the daughter of the man, Tony Marette, who killed Dylan’s father. That episode has a lot in it. And it has a wedding. And it has a death. And what’s interesting about that whole thing is it’s hard to put myself back into 1996, actually, that would’ve aired in 1995.
It’s hard to put myself back into 1995. It was during my junior year of college to remember. I think all we knew as the public was. Luke Perry is leaving 9 0 2 1 oh. And we know as we got closer to that episode, this is the last episode he’s gonna be in. Because remember, there was really no internet back then.
There was no Twitter, there was certainly no social media. All we had known was he was leaving the show. The big question was, were they going to kill him off? And as we’re approaching that and they’re showing the preview. For Luke Perry’s final episode, they clearly in the trailer made it seem like he was dying.
Obviously they pulled a fast one on us and he didn’t die. He was supposed to, but the hitman shot the wrong person and he ended up killing Dylan’s wife. I think for my money. It’s the best episode that Luke Perry ever acted in. He was a phenomenal actor. For those that don’t really, you know, they think oh 9 0 2 1 oh, just a high school kiss.
No, Luke Perry was different. It almost seemed like he didn’t belong on that show. He was too good for it. And after a while he was. That’s why he left. His movie career didn’t take off, but I don’t know how many people remember that episode. That’s why we’re gonna rewatch it on Wednesday, but it’s one of my favorite episodes.
It’s. One of Luke Perry’s best Acted episodes, if not the best, because it’s just, I thought he was really, really good in it. The scene where Tony gets shot and he goes up to her car, it was in 1995, was gut wrenching, and even to this day, it’s like, wow. He was. You, you could feel it. And Tony Marette played by re, Rebecca Gay Hart.
She had just joined the show in episode one. She was only in there for 10 episodes. And yes, the relationship moved very fast and Dylan getting engaged and married so quickly to somebody on the show when he had numerous girlfriends in his previous five seasons. It did feel fast, yet it actually felt right.
And her death in his arms. You actually, at least I did. I felt, wow. I feel like these two have been dating for two or three seasons. It was that good. So we’re gonna rewatch that one on Wednesday. So join me on my patreon patreon.com/reality. Steve. For the rewatch season six, episode 10. Luke Perry’s final episode on 9 0 2 and oh before they convinced him to come back in the garbage seasons in season nine.
