Also, we’re gonna talk a little bit about the traders coming out and what I’m gonna do on Friday with it. Do we have a date for season four of Secret Lives of Mormon wives?

And oh my gosh, he is gonna be back on our screens. Who am I talking about? Stay tuned, I’ll tell you. All right, let’s get started. So on the Patreon today, patreon.com/reality. We’re gonna go watch an episode today at 3:00 PM Eastern Time, two Central that I can honestly say I’ve maybe seen this episode twice at most. I’m gonna take you back to season three, episode 28 of Beverly Hills 9 0 2 1 oh. Can anybody guess right now off the top of their head what episode that is? It’s the infamous Donna Martin graduates episode.

I haven’t really seen it many times ’cause you follow me long enough. You know I didn’t start watching Beverly Hills 9 0 2 1 oh. Until college and then once I watched through the college episodes, I was hooked and I went back and watched the high school episodes, but I don’t remember those nearly as much as I remember the college ones.

So we’re gonna watch Donna Martin graduates, and I’m gonna be seeing it for maybe the third time in my life. And I know it’s a very iconic episode because Donna got drunk at the prom on the episode before. So the principal says, sorry, you’re not gonna graduate. The school protests for her. I don’t know why.

Maybe it’s because she’s Erin Spelling’s daughter. I don’t know why a whole school got all fired up about Donna Martin and her being able to graduate high school, but they did. So we’ll watch that today at three o’clock Eastern Time, two Central, one Mountain and noon Pacific. If you want to join in.

patreon.com/reality. Steve,

also on the Patreon coming up tomorrow on the weekly podcast, episode 4 77 with Morgan Page. You know her as Morgan P talks on Instagram and TikTok covers a lot of pop culture news, bachelor stuff, survivor stuff, and Patreon subscribers got that interview last night because I recorded yesterday afternoon with her and.

I’d say the first half of the podcast is mostly talking about this Sage interview that she did on YouTube or this YouTube video that she put out for 47 minutes talking about this pre-gaming that was happening on season 49 of Survivor, and she implicated Jake and Sophie b, and there’s just so much to dissect.

I went over a lot of this yesterday. And I wanted to get Morgan’s thoughts on it. She had some interesting thoughts on it as well. The more I break this down, the more I do realize I really need to get ahold of a survivor contestant and somebody who’s actually been through this show probably more than once.

’cause I think they’ll have a, a better understanding. I have reached out to somebody, they did message me back and say, when are you looking to record? So hopefully I can get that done. But I think, because I don’t wanna disrespect anybody who’s ever played Survivor, but I’m still on the fence about what is the big deal about this.

You’d be like, Steve, you’re not supposed to talk to anybody pre-game and form alliances Well. I think there’s a deeper conversation to have here. We know Survivor 50 is with all returning players, right? And those people we’re interviewing and those people talk to each other. Re and Stephanie have been on numerous shows together in the past.

They’ve been on traders together, they’ve been on Snake in the grass together, their friends outside the show. You have people like Kyle. Camilla from what, 48? You have people from the same season on season 50.

If they were talking to each other before they flew out to Fiji strategizing saying, Hey, we should do this. We should target these people. ’cause they knew pretty much who was gonna be on the show. Or even if they didn’t saying they were gonna team up with each other. I honestly want an answer to this.

How is that any different than doing it in the three or four days when you’re out there in Fiji? I understand when you’re out there in Fiji, you’re not supposed to talk to anybody, but if you’re talking to somebody before the game about the same things that Sage is basically accusing Jake and Sophie of what’s the big deal I.

I find this story fascinating, and here’s also why I find it fascinating because in 49 seasons of this show, we’ve never heard a complaint like this. We’ve heard people complain about their edit, and in their exit interviews with Dalton Ross or Sharon Thorpe or Mike Bloom, they’ll say, well, what you didn’t see was this.

The reason why this happened at Tribal Council is because they left out this conversation that they never showed, and people were like, oh, okay. We’ve never heard anybody in the history of the show come out after the fact and say, Hey, before the show even began filming, I saw people talking to each other because that’s basically like taboo.

You don’t talk about that stuff. The fact that Sage has been able to put this video out there is still amazing to me. I, I can’t imagine production is happy with her. Is Jeff Probes gonna respond to this? Jeff Probes? Absolutely loves this franchise. He protects this show at all costs. Sage, throwing this out there.

Whether you choose to believe it or not, is a stain on the franchise. What is Jeff gonna do about this? Is he going to address it? His podcast seems to take a break in the off season. I found that out when I was interviewing Morgan yesterday. She went and looked, and his last episode was December 17th, so it looks like he doesn’t come back until the beginning of the next season.

I gotta imagine Jeff will say something. I personally think Jake and Sophie are staying out of this. My guess is they don’t say anything. Probably. ’cause number one, they’re scared of their contract. And number two, well, they’re scared of their contract. I think that’s the biggest reason why they aren’t addressing this.

It’s been out there, they know exactly what Sage said. It’s been out there for over a day Now, if they haven’t responded by now, my guess is they’re not gonna respond. And even d, former winner of the of Survivor and participated on the challenge Season 41 this past season, hooked up with Johnny Bananas, that d she wrote under Sophie’s picture yesterday.

I think Sophie is on vacation right now. And she posted something along the lines of, Hey, when you get back, we need to pregame. Sophie’s like, you got it? So Sophie’s just kind of letting this. Roll off her back. It doesn’t seem like she’s taking what Sage says seriously and is just not gonna address it, is my guess, just based on that response.

But the story is fairly big in the survivor world, and that’s why I want to get somebody on who can share their feelings about this. And I want to ask them what is, what is quote unquote pre-gaming? What does it even mean? What does cheating mean? Because. Even if Sophie got ahold of Jake Pregame and said, Hey, let’s be Alliance members.

Okay, well, alliances changed daily, if not hourly on the show. What if the game started and Sophie connected with other people in the tribe, or Jake did? What if it just, I, I guess it just doesn’t, I don’t know. I think Sage, I, I, I think Sage has a, a credibility issue going on right now because nobody else is running to her defense now.

Maybe it’s because they’re scared of their contract as well. Maybe everybody behind the scenes agrees with her, or at least one person agrees with her. Nobody seems to be taking sage aside and when we know for a fact that pretty much everybody in that cast isn’t really cool with her post show, at least publicly.

It’s just giving off the vibes that she is still bitter about what happened in the game eight months ago and it just, it just isn’t a good look. I don’t wanna dismiss what she wrote down in her journal and what she claims she saw, but again, in 2026, well, you’re gonna come with an accusation like this.

You kind of need to provide evidence and she can’t, she couldn’t physically provide evidence ’cause she didn’t have her phone at that time. But still, this is something that, I’m really curious to see where it goes from here. Something tells me it’s gonna fizzle out unless Jeff addresses this and he loves this show and protects this show with everything.

I’m wondering if he’s gonna say anything about this, his podcast brought to you by HelloFresh in the new year, nothing hits home like home cooking.
