A little bit more Love is Blind Talk. Yesterday I mentioned about two interviews that I had heard people do. Emma did an interview with US Weekly, and Alyssa did an interview with oom.com, which is Netflix’s website where they interview their contestants, and she also did a podcast locally, I believe, in Cincinnati, that I watched on YouTube and I told you their stories yesterday.
The other people that did interviews were Brittany and Brie. Brittany is the one that is with Devonte, and Brie is the one with Connor. Brittany said something that I think adds some context to what we saw in episode six. Remember Alex and Ashley, Alex, the soccer player, Ashley the Blonde. Basically, their whole relationship from what we’ve been shown as the viewers has basically revolved around the physical aspect that they’ve done nothing but.
Talk about sex and they’re attracted to each other. Remember he was the one that when he was looking at her, he said, oh, you’re trouble. Stop biting your lip. All this stuff. First off, any guy that consistently tells a woman you’re trouble he’s the one that’s trouble. Let’s get that perfectly straight, but.
Alex is just nonstop talking about his physical connection with Ashley. There wasn’t anything deep between them. I was wondering, when we’re in episode six, are these guys gonna talk about anything that has any substance to it whatsoever? Or is it all surface level physical attraction? And that’s pretty much what it was, but then all of a sudden, outta the blue, Alex says in a confessional that he’s normally not attracted to women like Ashley, skinny Blondes.
He likes darker features and he likes fuller figures, and he sits down and tells Brittany this, who was with Devonte, seemingly, it’s like he’s telling her in so many words without coming out and saying it. You’re kind of the one that I’m attracted to. Well, in the interview that Brittany did with US Weekly, the host asked her, and it might have been I, I might have seen it somewhere else, maybe it wasn’t US Weekly, but the host asked her, did you get the sense in that conversation?
Alex was hitting on you, and she goes, honestly, not totally, but like I didn’t take it as to where he was suggesting that we essentially swap partners because Devonte doesn’t seem to like women that aren’t white, and Ashley’s white and Alex doesn’t seem to like women that are skinny and white and Britney isn’t.
She’s black and Latina and Fuller figured. And so they asked Brittany and she’s like, no, it wasn’t. She goes, I, I got what he was saying. I was sitting there saying, I think he’s referring to me, but I never took it as he was saying he would dump Ashley right then for me, like that there was any sort of swap that was gonna go on.
She goes, no, I never saw it that way. But what she did say that I found that was interesting was she actually told Ashley about that conversation. With Alex because us as the viewers later on that night, we see Ashley confront Alex when they’re like standing in the closet area. Remember that conversation?
And she basically said like, Hey, have you had any conversations today with people? What was it about? And I thought that was so out of left field. Well, it wasn’t really outta left field because Brittany told her that Alex came to her about that conversation. When Alex is confronted about that and he talks to Ashley about it, of course he doesn’t say what he said to Brittany, but Alex doesn’t know that Ashley knows about the conversation Alex had with Brittany.
So that added a little more spice to that conversation. I mean, when I was watching that in episode six, I thought that was really weird. Just it was like. Well, I mean for us the viewers, we heard Alex talk to Brittany the way he did and it seemingly is making it seem like he’s more physically attracted to women like Brittany.
So where in the world is Ashley getting this from? Well, she got it from Brittany. ’cause Brittany said, I went and spoke to Ashley about that conversation ’cause I just wanted her to know what her fiance had said to me as a girl’s girl would do. So props to Brittany for going to Ashley with that conversation.
But now. I think that was the last thing we saw of Alex and Ashley in that particular episode. Right. So now we know, we haven’t seen Ashley’s reaction to it. But you remember what Alex said to her? No. You know, when I talked to women, I just, just trying to get a vibe and just seeing what’s up. It was just like, it was all bullshit.
It was total bullshit. Because he didn’t know that Ashley knew. He didn’t know why Ashley was asking him. Ashley was basically asking him to see if he would admit to what he said to Brittany and he didn’t because he didn’t know that Ashley knew. So now Ashley knows the guy’s a liar, and that’s obviously going to be an issue.
I can’t see how it wouldn’t be. So I just thought that was interesting, what Brittany did, and giving us a little behind the scenes there. The other thing I wanna mention about Love is Blind is. I may, the diehards about Diehards of Love is blind. Know this already, but I just wanna point it out that when you’re comparing the Bachelor and the Bachelorette and the turnaround times, and when the contestants are named, remember before the Bachelor and Bachelorette start filming, they release the possible cast list of the contestants, usually three days before filming begins.
On the Facebook page, either the bachelor Facebook page or the Bachelorette Facebook page. So at any point from that point on, people know who these guys or who these women are, and can look for them out in the wild once filming is over. Now, granted, you really only have that picture to go off of, and when they turn their Instagrams back on, but they haven’t been on TV yet, so they’re not ingrained in anybody’s head.
I don’t expect people to notice so and so when they’re out. Love is blind, is different, obviously. We know that these seasons are filmed usually a year in advance, and then the October season is usually filmed a a year and a half in advance. Well, this season was filmed at the end of February, beginning of March of 2025, so it’s been a year.
But we didn’t know who any of these people were. On the Ohio season of Love is Blind until 10 days before we got the first episode because that’s when they release the cast and their first names. Now, I’m sure there are sites out there that have gotten pictures during filming and said, Hey, I saw this film.
I, I don’t follow those. I wait until the cast comes out. But I’m sure there’s sites out there that has that stuff and it’s just interesting to me because. If there is a marriage on this show, the marriage would’ve happened last April, essentially. And if a marriage happens, it’s not like the Bachelor and the Bachelorette, you know?
Take whoever, for example, you know, grant and Juliana, the last bachelor season we had Grant and Juliana get engaged in November of 2024. But a season airs in Nove in January of 2025 to March of 2025. So from November of 24 to March of 25, 20, 25, finale night Grant and Juliana just can’t be going out in public and hanging out and, and seeing each other and holding hands ’cause that gives away the show.
But on Love is blind. When you have a year, and it’s not that you’re just engaged, you’re married on this show if you choose to get married at the end on wedding day. So whoever gets married, Netflix doesn’t tell these people, Hey, you can’t be seen out in public. You can’t do anything for a year until this marriage ends.
Those people actually live their life and clearly. People in both of their lives, family and friends are all very well aware. So and so is married. So the spoilers for love is blind aren’t nearly as revealing. It will be to most of the audience. ’cause most of the audience doesn’t care about these shows until they air.
Yes. There is a subset of The Love Is Blind franchise, just like there is of the Bachelor that needs to know everything going on every single day. So, but I’m just talking about these people’s lives. They got married last April and they’ve been allowed to live their life as a married couple since last April.
Now, they can’t go public on their social media. They can’t post pictures of them together. Some of them may post pictures in the exact same location, in the exact same time as their spouse, but they can’t post anything publicly. However, they can live their life publicly. Which they’re not allowed to do on the Bachelor like Grant and Juliana or any couple.
I’m just using them as an example because they were the last Bachelor franchise couple Grant, and Juliana could not see each other unless it was arranged by A, B, C and done during happy couple visits. They couldn’t just go walk around. They couldn’t go to the movies, they couldn’t go to dinner, nothing.
You have to be basically locked up in a house for a few days and that’s what you have to do. Until finale night, love is blind. Completely different. These people get married and they just live their life for the next year, and then the show comes out and they’re not allowed to be a, you know, quote unquote public couple on social media until after the reunion show airs.
So I just wanna make that clear to people. ’cause a lot of people maybe don’t understand that. They don’t have to keep it a secret. Not to mention friends and family. So if there are married couples this season on Love is Blind, their friends and family all know. And these couple married couple has been out in public for the last year, but nobody knew to look for them because they didn’t know they were on the show until 10 days before it aired.
Now I’m sure they can’t do anything from 10 days before the first episode aired until the finale. No, they will not be allowed to be just hanging out in public. They probably have some parameters. In fact, I’m gonna ask. I’m gonna ask about that. But from the time they got married last April until the time they were announced as a cast, yes, they absolutely could go out and do stuff because nobody knew to look for them because love is blind and say, Hey, we’re about to go into the pods for Ohio season last February.
Here are the 16 women and 16 men that are going into the pods. Let’s see what happens. Because then everybody would know to look for them. Back in Ohio or maybe down in Mexico or in Vic and Christine’s case, maybe down in Malibu, they’d be seen. They’d be caught and love’s. Blind Secret will get out well before, you know, get out a year before the show even airs.

As I mentioned in the open, if you hear a story in regards to a high school custodian, and if I also throw in the fact that it was a high school custodian in West Virginia, do you think anything good is coming out? This story? The answer would be no.
But a high school custodian was arrested in West Virginia because he was allegedly caught hiding. Inside of the high school girls’ locker room. Oh boy. I don’t know. That seems like something that, I mean, this literally seems like something you would think would be so obvious. I mean, who’s this guy think he is?
George McFly, who’s the peeping Tom hanging out in the girl’s locker room? In a in a locker. I just, I, I, I, I, I’m sorry. To the his name is Schoup William Howard Schoup, 25 years old. Police say he was discovered hiding in the locker room, doing a girl’s basketball game at Martinsburg High School.
Martinsburg was hosting Hedge. He was hiding inside a closet within the visiting team’s locker room. Hedge v’s. High school in Maryland. They had to deal with this creeper hanging out in a closet. He was arrested being held on $1.3 million bail. He was arraigned. He pled not guilty to all 29 charges. 14 counts of invasion of privacy.
Visual portrayal of other who is full or partially nude without permission. 13 counts of attempting to commit a felony punishable by imprisonment for a term less than life. Also faces two counts related to possessing a firearm or deadly weapon in or on school grounds. I mean, when I first saw the headline for this in custodian, I don’t know why it immediately went to my head that this was gonna be some old, creepy guy.
I didn’t realize it was gonna be a 25-year-old. I mean, I guess it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter what age. It’s wrong. Anyway, it’s, it’s a crime anyway, but like, I don’t know. And, and you look at this guy’s picture, I, I’m just gonna say, I don’t wanna judge a book by its cover, but I wouldn’t say this guy is the president of Mensa.
