I mentioned in the open that, and I mentioned it yesterday, podcast called Love Trapped, starts on Thursday, they’re gonna drop two episodes and that is all about the Clayton Eckard. And Laura Owens case that’s been going on for the last two and a half years. It is being hosted by Stephanie Young Interviews with so many people involved in this case.
Dave Neil’s in it. I’m in it. Rachel Juarez is in it. Megan Fox, Susie Evans, Clayton, the lawyers, everybody. It’s going to be a very comprehensive recap. You know, I haven’t heard any advanced episodes. So my guess is for those of you that were like in the beginning, just like, yeah, this seems pretty cool, and then just kind of fell off because there was so much information coming in.
I think this podcast will be for you to get all caught up, but I wanna play you the three minute and 15 second trailer that we released last week to get you ready for what’s coming on Thursday, because my Thursday weekly guest this week is going to be Stephanie Young, the host of this podcast, along with Clayton.
So I’m gonna interview both of them. We’re gonna talk a little bit more about this, so I’m really excited about it. So I’m gonna get you a little fired up for that Thursday interview by letting you here. Tonight, former Bachelor Star Clayton Ecker. Clayton Eckard, Clayton Eckard, bachelor’s Clayton Eckard. He had a brief romantic encounter with this woman who later claimed she was pregnant with his twins, who he says tried to destroy him. I mean, this is really an unbelievable story. I’ve
done nothing except
get pregnant by the fucking Bachelor.
This story starts with a very familiar scene. An at-home pregnancy test.
It was just her and I waiting for the results.
The woman he was standing next to was essentially a stranger. Someone who had reached out to him on LinkedIn. They’d only hooked up once.
One line shows up right away.
Many of us have been there before.
Whatever result you’re hoping for, the weight is excruciating.
And then the second line starts coming in and I’m like,
wow,
she’s actually pregnant.
This moment changed Clayton Eckerd’s life forever, but not in the way he expected.
Every time you think it couldn’t get crazier, it just does.
Over the next two years, he would be thrown into the spotlight again.
This time becoming the center of a story that was spiraling out of his control.
The media is here, you know that this case has gone viral.
The dating contract, stalkerish behavior. She sent me over 500 emails and text messages.
Agree to date me, but I’m also suing you.
It’s just chaos.
Had she not gone public.
Things wouldn’t be where they are today. Police search warrant, it’s a story about who you believe and why you believe them.
It’s not about men versus women. It’s about victims versus abusers.
It would take a group of strangers all across the country to finally prove the truth. My bullshit meter went off right away.
They found information that I don’t think. Any private investigator could have found
the smoking gun of the entire case, discovered live
every day was a new twist.
She makes up all these characters and she creates fake personas.
This
is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. There’s so much collateral damage from this story.
What would come out was a whole group of victims who’d fallen into the same trap.
I got a DM that said, Hey, you need to look into this court case. You’re not the only one.
Bingo. This shit doesn’t happen twice.

I didn’t think episode 10 was all that interesting, other than the fact that Rob’s name gets brought up for the first time by Tara. She tells Natalie about it. Natalie goes after Rob in the round table, but then nobody votes for Rob in the round table. It made no sense. So Mark Ballast posted on Instagram story over the weekend and he put the caption, it’s just a picture of him walking in New York City, smiling, but then the caption says, currently walking down the street, thinking about how we had the numbers, if we had followed through on quote unquote the plan.
The plan being Tara, Nat, Johnny, me. Vote for Rob. That’s four votes for Rob. Rob has two votes. Maura and Eric vote for Nat, along with Rob’s two votes. That’s four votes to four votes. That makes it a tie. We all vote again only for Rob or Nat, but the dagger has been flushed. So now it’s four votes. Now it’s four votes Rob.
Three votes Nat. Damn. So why that? I guess we’ll find out at the reunion. But how did Mark go into that round table thinking they were gonna have a four four tie and Rob ends up getting zero votes? I guess everyone is just scared. They wanted to just last till the end. They didn’t wanna ruffle any feathers.
I don’t know. But for Mark to put that, it looks like there was a plan in place at one point to finally go after Rob, and then yet nobody does. Like what? What are these people doing? Speaking of what are we doing? You remember one of my biggest stories that I covered here on the Daily Podcast during the summer was the crash out of Kelly Wolf, the estranged wife of Scott Wolf.
Remember, he had filed a restraining order against her. He had basically told the courts, if my kids are gonna see her, it needs to be supervised. Remember that really weird 15 minute video that she posted where she filmed herself and Scott dropping the kids off? The kids look petrified of her the amount of times she absolutely lost her marbles on Instagram talking about they’re doing this to me and they’re trying to take my kids away from me, and I’m not gonna stand for this and all this stuff.
And then we finally heard, I think September or October, like she has been admitted into rehab. She’s agreed to go to rehab, and then we literally haven’t heard a word from her. ’cause remember it was the advice that a lot of people were giving, I was giving constantly was, Kelly, you gotta stay off social media.
This isn’t helping you, in your case, to keep your kids because you’re coming across more and more crazy. So she has been off social media. She literally hasn’t posted anything in like three or four months, and then all of a sudden. Scott and Kelly post a joint photo of them and their three kids at Universal Studios on February 20th, which was what Saturday.
And it says, healing with five blue hearts after it. Thank you Uni Studios for an epic day at the park. So much fun. What. Can we hit rewind on that VCR tape? What the hell? How did we get here? Now look, I understand this family doesn’t owe us anything. Kelly doesn’t owe us anything, but it wasn’t like, oh, they were just kind of sniping at each other in the media.
They were just kind of going at each other on social media, and now it seems like everything is fine. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. She had full crash outs. Scott was literally saying, I don’t want my wife and the mother of my children anywhere near my children. She has to be supervised. Like he was going after her hard.
He was never doing what she was doing on social media. She was the social media clown just constantly posting. We were going over this so much and maybe some people have short term memory, but you remember how bad it got. Hopefully it was bad. And then, yes, I understand. So seemingly she has gone to rehab seemingly, I, I guess she’s better.
But if I’m Scott Wolf, after everything that happened this summer and everything she posted, not only meant she, she accused him of being gay. She went after his friend, she went after his family, and now he’s just gonna post a Hey, healing Great Day. Universal Studios, everyone. It’s like. Again, I understand he doesn’t owe us anything, and maybe they’re handling it privately, but if I’m Scott Wolf in this situation, I at least put out there a little bit more than healing.
Great Day at Universal Studios. I would do a podcast. I would go to people.com or maybe US weekly and just give a few sentences on, wait a second. How did you go from where you were this summer to where you are now? That’s all. That’s all I’d like to know because this, I mean, Scott, she came after you and your family and your friends and Billy Bush, like everybody, she was crucifying, everybody associated with you guys and all of a sudden you’re just hanging out with her and the kids at Universal Studios.
I dunno. I need more, but I understand they don’t owe us anything. I’m just saying if I were him, I’d probably give a, at just a little, you don’t have to give the details of what, what’s been going on the last three months. Clearly they are working on things as evidenced by that family photo at Universal Studios and what he wrote.
They’re working on things. Yes. But I think it would be nice to maybe say, how do you recover from what she told you and the things that she was saying to you. Over the summer and saying to your friends and family, but maybe we’re never gonna get that. And finally, you remember last week I was talking about, well, especially a Olympic season, an Olympic year, you know, somebody from the Olympics, if not two people are gonna be on Dance with the Stars.
And I was trying to figure out like, well, who. I haven’t been watching a lot of it, so I didn’t know really who was doing well. Clearly the woman who scored the game winning goal in the women’s hockey gold medal game against Canada, Keller was her last name, I think. Megan Keller. Clearly, she’s gotta be a front runner, right?
And I was like, I don’t know who else. I thought that Illian guy who was supposed to take home the gold men’s figure skating, but he finished eighth. Well, we all know now. I mean, if Alicia Liu is not going to be on Dance with the Stars, it’s not because they didn’t ask her. I mean, she is the first woman’s figure skater to win an Olympic gold medal in Olympic medal in 20 years.
The first one to win a gold in 24 years. I didn’t know that. Again, I’m not a real winter sports guy, but I thought we had good figure skaters here, at least some that would medal. We haven’t had a woman medal in figure skating in 20 years. I had no idea. So the fact that she was able to do that, not to mention she’s got a great personality seeing her in interviews.
Obviously she doesn’t, she’s not the cookie cutter with her multicolored hair. This is exactly what Dancing With the Stars is going to take. I’d be stunned if Alicia Liu is not on Dancing With the Stars this year, like why wouldn’t she be? She has to be and I think we’re gonna see her. But yeah, she clearly And may, if they only take one, I would assume it would be her.
But they might take more than one just because it is an Olympic year. But I, she is 1000% gonna be on unless she has some sort of other obligation. I can’t imagine why she’d wanna say no, but we shall see. But after she won gold, it’s like, yeah. That’s your, that’s your one. Anyway, thank you all for listening.
