    Crisis averted. For those that read my intro yesterday, you know that right after I woke up, I shut off my phone so I could restart it, and it basically got locked on the Apple logo. Couldn’t figure it out, so headed to the Apple store which is about 20 min from me. Since I didn’t make an appointment, I was a walk up. Got there at 10am and they told me walk up wait was between 2 and 2 ½ hrs. So I put my name in, grabbed a quick bite, drove home, stayed here about 30 minutes, then drove back.     Do you realize we are halfway through Katie’s season already? And unless they’re doubling up on episodes sometime in the next 5 weeks, we only have 5 episodes left: the 12th, 19th, 26th, Aug. 2nd, & 9th, because we already know that Paradise starts on Aug. 16th. Kinda flown by and, judging by the numbers in the next paragraph, barely anyone has noticed. Ok, I’m kidding. Sort of. You’ll see below. But to be halfway through already seems rather quick, no? I think maybe I got thrown off by the fact that one episode didn’t have a rose ceremony in it and even though we’re 5 episodes in, we’ve only had 4 rose ceremonies.     Pretty funny how this show, or I guess more so Mike Fleiss in this situation, manipulates the ratings to fit his narrative. So the ratings from Monday night are in and it drew 3.3 million viewers and a .9 rating. Fleiss tweeted yesterday, “Thank you, #BachelorNation ! Huge ratings last night! This season is one of the all-time best…” Huge ratings? Really? Last week drew 3.3 million and a .8 rating. So they went up .1 from ep 2, with the same overall viewership. Ep 1 drew 3.6 million and a .9, so it had the same rating and 300k less viewers. Yet, that warrants a “huge ratings” tweet from Fleiss, who basically has no say in the day-to-day operations of the this show anymore? … Continue reading →
